**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dalila D. | Développeur, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2018

**What do you like best about Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE)?**

it is a flexible tool, you can create dashboards quickly with visual insight. Great execution speed. The subscription to histories, sending by email works well. MicroStrategy is a powerful tool, it allows linking with Microsoft Office, even though I haven't tried it yet. This link can only work if you use "documents". User management is very comprehensive, it allows for the restriction of access to the dashboard as well as to the data. Users can import their Excel files and cross-reference them with existing data warehouse data. They can also export their dashboards to Excel or print them as PDF. The transition to a production environment is quite simple.

**What do you dislike about Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE)?**

It is necessary to have advanced (technical) training to implement this tool. A good infrastructure is needed depending on the size of the data, a large disk capacity, and good RAM. There is a lot of configuration to be done at the administrator level if you want to leverage all the features of MicroStrategy, such as user management and access restriction.

**Recommendations to others considering Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE):**

First of all, it is necessary to have a good infrastructure and plan for DEV, TEST, and PROD environments.

**What problems is Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to set up indicators to share within the company. Everyone in the company only sees the indicators they have access to, with good access management. They can create their own free analyses, using the cubes or by using the Excel files.
