"No-Code Ease with Domo, Boosting Sales Insights"
What do you like best about Domo?

I find Domo super easy to use, especially for nontechnical people. It's really straightforward to learn the analytics side, which is great since the people creating visualizations in my team don't typically have a technical background. Using Domo's no-code platform makes it easy to train up the team, which is awesome for filtering and changing date ranges on cards. It's also been easy to train our salespeople on how to do what they need to do on the cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I know that my team always has a hard time on launch day when new products come out. It significantly slows down the rest of Domo. But all things considered, like, that's a you know, once a month max problem. And it usually bounces back pretty quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Tool with Robust Features, AI Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Domo?

I find Domo very easy to use, especially since it's made for people without a technical background. I'm really impressed with the Magic ETL feature—it’s a simple tool that lets me modify data without needing to know programming, and it’s been updated to handle almost anything I need. I also like the beastmode calculation feature because it allows me to do complex calculations on a card level without altering the original data, which is really helpful. The cards themselves are great too, offering small features like easily sorting values with just a click, which I don't see in other tools like Power BI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

My company's data isn't a good fit for Domo AI features, and Domo is pushing a lot on AI stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Highly Customizable"
What do you like best about Domo?

I use Domo for my job as a BI analyst, and it helps us pull data from all our different sources and display it in a clean way all in one place. I love how easy it is to use and learn. It has been really valuable because if Domo doesn’t natively have a visualization I’m looking for, I can build a custom one. I enjoy that Domo gives us the ability to create our own apps inside of it. I've built a custom home page, custom visualizations, and many other things using pro code apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I would love to see some more governance around App Studio apps, specifically mapping app pages to the parent app and the ability to give users access to specific pages within the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive BI Tool with Room for Pricing Improvements"
What do you like best about Domo?

I like Domo because it is practical. It's less about perfect modeling and more about helping teams act on data every day. The feature I value the most is Magic ETL with Alerts as a very close second. It eliminates the dependency on data engineers for every small change and speeds up dashboard delivery dramatically. It bridges the gap between raw data and usable metrics. The initial setup with Domo is fairly easy compared to more engineer-heavy BI tools. We moved to Domo from Power BI because of faster time to insight, it's an all-in-one platform, and it offers better operational use. I would definitely recommend Domo to a friend or colleague. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

The main things that don't work and should improve are complex data modeling and governance. There's no strong semantic layer like Looker's LookML, which makes it harder to enforce metric definitions across large organizations. It should have better version control, testing, and reuse for ETL, along with stronger centralized metric governance. Additionally, the cost and licensing complexity can be an issue; the pricing feels high as usage scales, and the licensing for users and storage can be confusing. It should improve by offering simpler, more transparent pricing and better cost visibility for admins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DOMO: Powerful End-to-End Cloud Data Platform for Massive-Scale Analytics"
What do you like best about Domo?

It’s a end-to-end data platform that enables users to connect data from various sources, merge/wrangle data through its various powerful dataflow tools, and visual the data with its flexible dashboards/Apps. The best thing about it is that it’s happening on the cloud which means it can process billions of rows without overwhelming your local device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I like how DOMO continuously adapt to the market, but sometimes it can be difficult to keep up to date of all the new features and updates. It almost feels like we need a dedicated person to keep track of the updates and determine whether the updates are relevant to our environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Data Magic, A Must-Have"
What do you like best about Domo?

I love Domo because it's such a great tool, simple to use with a wide capability to connect to your data wherever it resides. The Magic ETL is unbelievable and instrumental in taking raw data and preparing it for visualization and actionability. The Work Flow component is very powerful and impressive. I like that I can connect to our source data platforms, extract data easily, transform it, and visualize it in both App and Dashboard formats all within Domo, eliminating the need for multiple software platforms. The presence of over 1,000 connectors is fantastic, and the ability to build custom connectors gives tremendous capability. The extract, transform, and visualize tools provide a simple path to convert raw data into actionable insights quickly. I found the initial setup of Domo to be very easy and efficient, being able to get started and have workflows and Apps in place swiftly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I'm on a learning curve in using the workflow module, but with more time using it, I expect it to be as friendly and easy to use as the rest of the Domo platform. I would like to see the grid type format that has been added to Magic ETL be added to the workflow module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Features, But Needs Refinement"
What do you like best about Domo?

I like Domo primarily for its Magic ETLs and its ability to centralize data from multiple sources. Magic ETLs are a strong core feature. They’re icentral to how my team builds and maintains our data pipelines. Domo also makes it relatively easy to build dashboards and present data in a visually appealing way, particularly through cards and apps. The wide range of connectors, especially for Salesforce and Eloqua, is a key reason we use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I feel that some newer features are being rolled out before they’re fully ready, especially Domo Apps. More noticeably, the AI-powered tools often feel underdeveloped or not sufficiently thought through for real-world workflows. Another challenge is visualization flexibility. The current set of chart and card visualization options feels quite limited compared to other modern BI tools. Additionally, the sudden shift from an all-you-can-eat model to the credit consumption model has been disruptive. The lack of a gradual transition has significantly impacted how our team experiments, iterates, and develops in Domo, fundamentally changing our workflow and discouraging exploration. "Intuitive, Easy Transition with Domo, Needs Report Enhancement"
What do you like best about Domo?

I really like the vision format in Domo; it's very intuitive and user-friendly. It makes navigating and using the platform easy, even for non-experienced users. Since my company just started using Domo, I found it easy and fast to get familiar with the page, which helped avoid an unnecessary transition period from the previous user interface. Getting used to Domo was fairly easy, as the transition was not difficult. Within just a couple of days, I became familiar with the platform and its applications, enabling me to use it effectively for my tasks. I appreciate how intuitive it is, which is why I'm recommending it to my team members who also access similar reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

The way in which the reports are provided does not allow me to quickly get the information for the specific places that I need. It only allows me to view a specific region at a time, and then I have to filter out the rest of the regions. It would be appreciated if a better, more detailed view could be implemented into Domo. "Robust Features, Needs More Visualization Flexibility"
What do you like best about Domo?

I like the breadth of Domo's features and their cohesiveness, yet simplicity. It's amazing that entry-level marketing analysts and data scientists can all work in the same tool. Magic ETL is huge for us as it allows us to simply transform data in the ways we need for reporting. I appreciate that workflows are becoming a more important component, enabling us to automate tasks and take more control of our instance. Once we had access to Domo, I found it really easy to get data in and start building things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

I would like more flexibility out of the box with visualization. The ability to size cards to any size and place cards anywhere without having to follow locking grid patterns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The one to beat!!!!"
What do you like best about Domo?

We have been using Domo for about 6 years now. The best thing about Domo are the connectors. You can pretty much connect to all major data systems.

Also there were several major updates done to the product to make it more powerful and make it much easier to build reports.

The new App Studio makes it easier to build good looking and customizable dashboards.

Worksheets, Fixed Input Tile, Split joins in ETL and other new features introduced in 2025 has been extremely beneficial in easing the pain points for ETL and report creation/implementation.

The customer support is also very prompt in responding.

Over the years Domo has been constantly upgrading the product and adding more and more features both to their ETL tool and the report builder (Analyzer). This has truly made Domo a leader when it comes to BI tools. The DomoAI is also constantly improving and is going to be a force to reckon with in the coming years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Domo?

The pivot chart still needs a lot of work as its not very flexible in its current state.

Domo needs provide some kind of a show/hide columns dynamically on the table charts.

We also need to be able to set dynamic column names based on filters/variable values selected.

The new consumption model is very confusing. They should just streamline it and make it customer friendly. Legacy vs new is also very unclear. As there is no way to know upfront about how much credits a particular implementation will incur. This could result in customers overshooting their budgets. The old model was way better.
