What do you like best about Motive?

What stands out most about Motive is how naturally it fits into our daily workflow. It doesn’t feel like another complicated system that needs constant attention or management, we use it throughout the day for tracking, safety insights, and trip reviews, and everything is laid out in a way that actually makes sense. It also integrates well with the rest of our tools, which helps keep operations running smoothly. On top of that, whenever we’ve reached out for support, the responses have been fast and genuinely helpful. Overall, it’s a platform that simply works without adding extra stress to the day. What do you dislike about Motive?

One downside with Motive is that parts of the platform can feel a bit cluttered. The dashboard packs in a lot of information, and at times it takes a few extra clicks to get to exactly what I’m looking for. It’s not a dealbreaker because the system is still very useful overall, but the interface could be more streamlined. What do you like best about Motive?

What I like most about Motive is how natural it feels to use day to day. It doesn’t get in the way; it simply helps me get things done. Setting it up was surprisingly painless, and it blended right into the tools we already rely on without any fuss. Also, whenever I’ve needed help, their support team has been quick and genuinely attentive, which builds a lot of trust.

What do you like best about Motive?

I love the fact that Motive allows you to view driver's safety infractions across the whole fleet and it also assigns a safety score to all drivers. The pricing of the program sticks out as well since it's not too expensive. It was super easy to get logged in and set up Motive. So far we have integrated motive into our fleet of over 50+ vehicles, currently of only 26ft trucks.

I also personally love the fact they are a super cost effective option for fleet tracking purposes & asset management within ACE (my company). We are able to follow fuel consumption & add statistics to our quarterly meeting for improvements, goals, & possible future performance expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motive?

I think the app itself can be minimized more as it seems a little overwhelming at times to look at. I think the dashboard should be customizable from user to user. A lot of features for fuel aren't being used by my company therefore I should be able to un-pin it from my dashboard, ideally. I think that Motive should focus on more personalization traits such as different colored backgrounds or even a dark mode for people with eyesight issues such as myself. A lot of the time staring at the Motive app on Google Chrome hurts my eyes after 10-15 minutes of looking at our fleet ETAs. The plain white background is definitely an aesthetic eyesore that could be easily improved though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Motive?

I like that it’s fairly easy to navigate. As someone who had never dealt with this sort of system and was basically just thrown into it, I was still able to figure out how to use it on my own without much trouble. You’re able to set your own parameters for things like speeding, hard braking, and corners, which is very helpful. You’re also able to go back and review previous days. I use this system every day. When we switched from our previous provider to Motive, it was a very easy transition—just plug it in, assign it, and you’re good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motive?

Ive found the service department can be VERY difficult, they don't have answers. Constantly waiting for data to come through. Speeds not set properly on the roads so constant of having to fix it. We had a crash happen- was not notified for the crash and even after calling in to get information it took 45 mins to get it. Was not told my rep was gone till well after the fact.
