**What do you like best about Remote?**

I really like Remote because it is a very easy-to-use platform and everything is very well organized. I can manage my payments and receive notifications immediately, as well as review my vacation days, request days off, and check the holidays in my country. It also allows me to access documents, complete onboarding tasks, and communicate with human resources or support quickly and easily. The mobile app is also very easy and fast, which makes everything more accessible and at hand.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

If I had to mention something to improve, it could be adding new features perhaps a bit faster, but the truth is that overall the experience has been very positive and there have been no difficulties.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Remote to centralize all my work information in one place. It allows me to view payments, manage vacations, check holidays, and communicate with human resources easily. The mobile app makes everything faster and more accessible, facilitating task management without wasting time.

Support team is super reactive to deal with any HR situation (like having to remove an employee from the team). 

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

A bit more proactive features for our Remote employees would be appreciated (training, skills assessment...)

I was able to keep my position within the same company; while it wasn't contractually possible without a third party like Remote. I know some third parties existed; but Remote just made it easy (for my employer and also for me).

**What do you like best about Remote?**

The overall software interface is really good. Very easy to use, find the information, get the overview.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The most annoying part of using them is Customer Service. The chat box works fine, you can find very basic answers there and people working there are lovely. The problem is that often they do not have authority to provide any information or solve issue. So they need to pass the ticket to other department. And then if can be weeks of no respond, or you have to wait multiple days of having 1 reply. Working in HR space where these things are very delicate and often requires the respond right away is really really problematic. I considered switching the provider at least 3 times in less than a year when I work with them. Really sad that when companies have such a great product really damage business with very poor CC support.  
Effective customer support should be Nr 1. investment they should be doing.

They manage HR admin work for us for employees working remote.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

What I appreciate most about Remote is how it simplifies managing global employees. I rely on it regularly, so frequency of use is consistent in my work. It connects well with Slack and finance tools, which improves integration across processes. The number of features for handling payroll and compliance is really helpful. Implementation was fairly smooth, and now it plays a key role in how I coordinate hiring and payments for remote staff.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The main drawback for me is that Remote isn’t always flexible with unique employment cases. Implementation took longer when we tried to adapt it to specific scenarios. While integration works well, setting it up correctly required extra effort.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote solves the challenge of hiring and managing employees in different countries without setting up local entities. I use it frequently, and it removes a lot of manual work from my daily tasks. The number of features helps manage contracts, payments, and compliance in one place. Integration with our existing tools keeps everything organized.

I like that it’s really easy to use and everything is consolidated in one place. I can check my pay status, submit expenses, take time off and everything in one place. I also like the ease of using the app on my phone so it literally takes me minutes

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The user interface can be a bit more cheerful. The blue color gives me PTSD of Dayforce days.

Our organization is truly global and Remote helps us to manage all the contractors and full time staff in one place. It helps me because I can also keep up with all the requests of my own direct reports in one place

A simple, complete platform for payroll. I can quickly access vacation and leave information, payroll receipts, healthcare details, documents, and my requests in a timely way.

I like the platform’s functionality and usability overall. The only improvement I’d recommend is a better way to organize documents, since that part doesn’t feel very intuitive right now. Other than that, I haven’t found any real downsides.

Remote is extremely easy to navigate, and I love how it provides a great overview for each employee from their dashboard. Employees can update everything in one place and ask for advice from the Remote team, which is very helpful. I also appreciate that important updates are always highlighted at the top with regular reminders to ensure completion on time. This is especially useful for important healthcare or visa notices. The initial setup was very easy, which was particularly helpful for me living in Spain.

The team is always very helpful and supports us in finding solutions.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The platform currently lacks several important features, such as a time balance account. In addition, the system is designed around a full-time employment model (8 hours per day), which leads to confusion among employees in practice.

Furthermore, administrative options are very limited. Access rights can only be granted either for all personal data or not at all, with no granular control. From a data protection perspective, this is critical and not in line with best practices.

At the moment it is mostly the daily tasks such as payroll issues which are professionally solved.

The TAX portal for India from Remote with greytHR is not satisfactory. Faced a hard time getting my salary updated on the platform. They should build their own system on remote.com only.

Hiring people across the globe without any office presence. I got hired through remote as my company didn't had the presence in India. Onboarding was smooth and easy.

I mainly use Remote for all the HR tasks at work like tracking my hours, checking my payslips, requesting time off, and submitting expenses. It's very simple to use, clear, and I never feel lost trying to find something. I appreciate having everything in one place which makes things quicker and less stressful during the week. It keeps everything organized, and I can handle things like expenses or time off on my own without waiting on someone else, which makes everything feel faster and more under control. Setting up Remote was simple and it's great that it just works perfectly for our small team here.

Honestly, Remote is simple and easy to use, but sometimes it can feel a bit slow when loading certain pages or submitting requests. It would be nice if a few tasks were faster. Yeah, for example, checking older payslips can take a little longer than expected. It's not a huge problem to be honest.

I like how Remote provides transparency. All the details shown on the app are easy to understand and very accessible. The initial setup was very easy since the instructions are clear.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I think one way of improving is if they can add the documents or benefits of our HMO like the inclusion of the package. I noticed that we haven’t received any night differential on our 2 previous payslips since I just started with the company. I’m not certain if this is a discrepancy or possible dispute as I would like to raise this with the management.

Remote lets me check payslips and work documents easily and its transparency makes details accessible.

I like using Remote as it keeps everything organized and accessible for managing schedules, day offs, and payments. I appreciate the easy-to-use, clean interface which makes everything easily accessible, and even a new user can quickly get the hang of it. I can access everything in different tabs, and most of my information is available on the dashboard, making updating any information simple. The initial setup was pretty easy as well, as I received an email with the setup steps which helped me fill in my information and get started. Overall, I've liked my experience so far and would definitely recommend it.

I like its simplicity and the clear structure of the menu. I don’t want to spend too much time learning the program, so it’s very good as it is and easy to understand from the way it looks.

The only thing which is not so helpful, is the fact, that there are features which I simply do not use and If I could just blend them out, would be better.

I can access directly, and at anytime, the payslips and have them stored. In the past I had to go through my manager, asking a 3rd party company and it took a long way and time to get the payslip.

I use Remote for payroll, and it makes it easier for me to log into the system and track my time. What I like most is the great customer service whenever I have a question. Recently they let me know about my insurance benefits and when I could expect an email to sign up for my benefits. The initial setup was easy too.

I really enjoy working with a specific contact person and I'm very thankful that we have a customer success manager where we can reach out directly if we need it. Compared to other employee of record services, having a direct contact person is quite unique for me. So whenever I'm facing issues that I think the normal help chat cannot solve, I can always reach out to them.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

Sometimes it's really dependent on who is answering my questions when I'm using the normal ticketing system. I can sometimes feel a bit of different quality from customer solution specialists, and I think it's just a matter of explaining in more detail what I need because sometimes I tend to receive answers that are quite generic.

Remote employs employees in locations where we don't have entities, helping us expand our workforce internationally.

Remote is very user-friendly. I receive an email notification when my invoice is ready to view, which makes it easy to stay on top of things. Remote also keeps thorough records of my hours and the time I’ve spent working. Every payout is saved and stored in the app, so I can always look back at past payments. I can also see all of my year-to-date earnings in one place.

I didn’t like setting up two-factor authentication, but now that it’s done, signing in should be easy.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

The best thing about it is that it makes the international employment regulation easier without me having to be a legal expert. The features included in covering contracts and payments are quite many, thus, facilitating my duties. I also consider the manner the employee information is arranged highly useful in examining details. This has transformed my working experience because I am not much concerned with getting wrong on the regulations, and I am more concerned with the performance of my team.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The aspect of Remote that I do not like is that some of the processes can appear too rigid and, therefore, it is difficult to modify when some unusual cases arise. Although the amount of features is good, I can sometimes not fit the features to address a particular employee.

The key issue that Remote can address to my situation is working with international employment regulations. It gives a systematic method of control of contracts and payments across the borders. This has helped me work better since I do not have to research about all the regulations on my own. It also benefits my team, as there are clear and consistent terms that are provided to everybody and this makes day to day tasks more manageable.

A critical error was made during onboarding — my rodné číslo was registered incorrectly with Slovak tax authorities, meaning months of tax and social security contributions went to the wrong identity. This is a serious compliance failure that should never happen. When flagged, the team was polite but slow to respond

Performance:
Payslips and salary payments were always accurate and on time. That part works well

Overall:
Fine for simple employment situations. If you have any cross-border complexity, expect to do a lot of the compliance work yourself.

I also value the private medical insurance and the Cobee partnership because I can use them, and they are deducted from my salary instead of my net income.

It's useless when I need to ask for legal advice on residency; I had to take that with an external consultant. It also takes a good 4-5 days between 'your salary is on the way' and the money actually reaching my account. And it's not my bank, I checked already. Easy-ish, I had to fill some docs that I didn't know how to fill and the docs were fuzzy.

I use Remote for payroll, and I like it because it's user-friendly. It's accessible on my phone, which is very convenient. The initial setup was also really easy, I'd give it a 10/10 for that. I appreciate the transparency on salary that it provides.

They can feel slow or unresponsive depending on your internet
Setup isn’t always beginner-friendly
Security needs extra attention
