**What do you like best about Remote?**

Almost all that you need whether payroll, leaves, incentives, are in their site. The best is the payslips are consistently on time. Their interface is simple, and easy to understand. Navigation is fast and no downtime so far.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

When logging in, sometimes it takes a couple of seconds for it to finish your login, sometimes you'll wonder if it stalled or not. Their approval time for reimbursements takes a while and usually it does not get approved before the cutoff date so you need to wait for the second payout before you get reimbursed. Paddle approves reimbursement requests in like a day or two. Remote takes 5 days to a week!

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usually its the payroll part that I am thankful of. Payslips are always on time and salary doesn't get late. Filing of leaves and seeing your benefits are the second best thing they help me out

**What do you like best about Remote?**

The app itself is very organized and everything you need is right there. I really like that all documents can still be accessed. The time sheet is really good. No issues so far in my overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I don’t have anything to dislike, but I think their AI chat could use some improvement. It would be better if it could answer questions more accurately and handle simple questions without escalating them to support or a person.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, I’ve asked them about a signed payslip, and they handled it by sending me an email, which was really handy. They also answered my question in a positive and helpful way.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I love the fact that everything is accessible from a single place; I can make sure that my information is up to date. Payment is always on time and really enjoy that I can choose to nominate different splits of payments to different accounts.

Each time that I have had to contact support everyone has been helpful and resolved my issues within the first conversation or the AI feature on the platform have helped me get to the solution quickly. 

The app works really well and allows me to seamlessly check salary payments & update information.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

At the moment, the lack of integration with other tools our company uses to track holidays is frustrating as we need to double-book holidays.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a UK employee I am able to be hired by businesses that do not have an established legal entity so we can hire the right talent regardless of geo-location.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I like that Remote is a well-organized company with an easy process aided by new technologies to make the workplace smarter. It helps get rid of complex processes, which aren't much needed in today's agile world. I appreciate that for all admin-related activities, the steps are straightforward, and I can manage everything in one app. I love managing everything with the Mobile app and the ease of making changes in payroll and administration services. Everything is pretty straightforward and easily manageable, which was not the case in my previous organizations.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

If I want to update any info in Payroll, it is not clear where to do in app, everytime it makes more time to navigate to correct page, so possibly work on UI part of app for more convenience and ease of use. Can be added a help page, where I can see the repeatedly asked questions and answers rather than going to chat bot directly.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote simplifies all admin activities with a straightforward process, integrating everything in one app. It makes payroll and administration changes easy and manageable, unlike my previous experiences where such tasks were complex.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I find the centralized platform beneficial as it allows me to see all employees in one place. The integration with HiBob sounds promising, especially for smoother onboarding and offboarding and improved leave management. I also like the reduced time it takes to complete payroll across multiple currencies with Remote. The economic savings and efficiency of having all employees under one platform is another reason why I switched to Remote.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The onboarding experience and knowledge of the team have been substandard. The implementation team has been very inexperienced and uncoordinated. It has been a painful process. Key account managers should be appointed so we are not bounced around various teams to find a solution. We have wasted a lot of time internally trying to effectively manage Remote. Many times we completed information for the team only for it to be lost or unsaved on their side. The initial setup of Remote was terrible.

I use Remote as a centralized platform to manage all employees globally in one place, reducing time spent on payroll across multiple currencies and planning to integrate with HiBob for smoother onboarding and leave management.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

What I like best about Remote is how easy it makes international employment. As a Spanish employee working for a Belgian company, it has simplified everything that could otherwise be quite complex, from contracts and documentation to accessing payroll information.

The platform is intuitive, well organised and easy to use. I also appreciate having everything centralised in one place, which saves time and gives me peace of mind knowing that the administrative and compliance aspects are handled professionally.

I love the workflow canvas that Remote launched earlier this year, which has changed how our cross-functional onboarding runs. It allows HR tasks and payroll configurations to run in parallel, so new hires are ready to work faster and feel more coordinated from the employee side.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The twelve months auto-renewal in the contract term was not front and center during the sales process and caught us at renewal time. The contract renews automatically unless you give notice well in advance. If you are planning to move employees to your own NTP or wind down a role in a particular country, missing that window has caused complications. Setting a calendar reminder well before each renewal date is genuinely necessary, and no one informed us of this until we needed it. The initial KYB verification process, collecting legal entity documents, direct ID, and tax numbers, was more documentation heavy than expected and added a few days before we could get started.

Remote manages payroll, tax filings, and statutory benefits in countries where we can't set up legal entities. It solves termination in strict labor law countries, reducing legal liabilities and stress. The workflow canvas speeds up onboarding, making new hires work-ready and coordinated faster.

I love that Remote allows me to hire talent from anywhere without worrying about local legislation and administration. As an employee, it lets me work for global companies while maintaining my local benefits and tax structures, which is really convenient. I appreciate their mobile and desktop applications because they are intuitive and make it easy to find crucial information or submit leave requests in one place. It's great being able to easily access my employment details, like the bank account for my salary or my payslip, via the mobile app. Submitting and approving leave requests is super easy too. The setup process was very easy and quick, which was a pleasant surprise.

Competitors in this space offer partner benefits such as car rental discounts or co-working passes which I found valuable as both a perk as an employee and to offer as an employer. Remote misses this today.

I really like Remote because I am a business owner and I have multiple branches of my boutiques to different locations so hiring remotely really is necessary. I have an international team that takes care of administrative tasks and because of Remote managing them got really easy for me. Remote is taking care if the salary, contractual agreements, and the benefit related processes. The platform is pretty simple yet very excellent in terms of its performance, the price is just right, their customer support is very accommodating as well when I reached out to them for an inquiry. Over all everything is great!

I did not noticed anything to dislike at the moment.

I really appreciate the background screening feature that's built directly into Remote. It's changed our onboarding process for new international hires for the better. Running pre-employment checks across different countries used to mean engaging a separate vendor for each market, which added both cost and time and created another set of logins to manage. Having this feature built into Remote means the screening runs as part of the onboarding flow without needing to coordinate separate processes, so new hires move through verification faster, and the results are as simple as everything else, rather than arriving in separate emails from a third party. Additionally, the self-service interface of Remote is one of the cleaner ones in this category. Our finance manager was able to pick up the operation quickly, within two days, without needing much hand-holding.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The support experience for complex cases is noticeably slower than for straightforward questions. When something unusual comes up, involving specific country termination rules or a unique contract situation, the first responder often comes back too generic to be useful, and it takes an additional follow-up to get to someone with actual local expertise. For a platform that charges a premium and is positioned as a safe compliance leader, this gap between simple and complex support feels like it should not exist at this price point. Country-specific setup costs and deposit requirements for certain markets are not always visible upfront. We ran into one situation where an unexpected country-level deposit requirement delayed our planned hire by a week while sorting out the additional payment.

What I really appreciate about Remote is how much it simplifies managing a global team. Hiring and paying people across different countries used to feel overwhelming, but now it’s pretty straightforward. As an admin, it’s a huge relief knowing compliance is already built in. I’m not constantly second guessing whether we’re aligned with local labor laws. On top of that, the platform is really easy to use, which saves me a lot of time in my day to day work. The automated onboarding procedures guarantee that all new staff members are given their localised contracts and benefits packages immediately. We greatly value our human resources team's access to a very user-friendly Dashboard showing all International Payroll functions in one place.

Customer support portal is a black hole, and it often keeps the user in a loop where he can't get to a live person. Creating customized financial reports means having to wade through a high-tech jungle that drains hours of precious administrative time each and every month.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Remote, every employee worldwide is managed from a single platform, replacing siloed local payroll systems. Complex cross-border tax calculation and regulatory challenges are tackled on the platform automatically. This smart automation will help our legal and accounting teams save many hours that were previously dedicated to time-consuming manual research. **What do you like best about Remote?**

What I like best about Remote is that it allows companies to hire talent in a lot of different locations. It takes care of all the administrative burden such as payroll and compliance with local laws. They provide a web app as well as an app that has a lot of useful information such as time off management, job information and they even feature a chat based interface in which you can quickly get answers to all of your questions. The chat also has an AI interface that can quickly surface answers but if that is not sufficient you can also get help from a human.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

Certain things require follow up via email, and I think there could be an opportunity there to handle all the cases directly in the app without having to switch to an email in order to wait for the response

Remote is solving the issue that many companies have, they want to hire talent in different parts of the world but they do not have a legal entity in that country. By using Remote, I can be legally employed in my country and they take care of all the administrative burden such as taxes and also local regulations

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I like that Remote allowed me to work for a US company and effectively facilitated my payroll, even though there were some issues. I found it beneficial that they handled my payroll and always made sure I got paid. Working remotely from home was also a cool aspect. The initial setup was super easy, which I appreciated, although the payment process was a bit different at first.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The talking to AI agents when you're dealing with somebody's income is not really the best solution. I know it's an easy way to handle the volume of people that you're dealing with, but when you're dealing with somebody's paycheck and somebody's monthly income, it's pretty important that a real person is dealing with it. And I think my biggest concern was not getting real answers or getting answers from robots that didn't really know the full answer. So the best answer is not to answer at all, unless you know what you're dealing with in terms of somebody's income.

Remote solved my problem of working for a US company by facilitating payroll, ensuring I got paid, even with issues.

Everything just works as expected without being choppy or slow.

Setting up the account and understanding what was needing to start using Remote was also very simple.

The AI-powered assistance built into the platform feels like having a knowledgeable HR companion available at any moment.

To compare Remote with other EOR payroll platforms, Remote has offered our company the luxury of dealing with all legal aspects of creating a contract and informing us in a tmely manner if there is something missing from the new hire. It has been incredibly easy to use for the new hires as well.

Our legal team appreciates it because it automatically includes required clauses and notice periods for different countries based on the selected location. Plus, we can add our own company-specific terms and tailor the agreements to fit how we work without starting from scratch or needing to hire a local employment lawyer each time. Creating employee accounts and starting a new hire flow is smooth and well-designed. The platform guides you through each step clearly, and most onboarding processes can be handled directly by the employee through their own portal.

I really don't like the termination process. In certain countries, it has been slower than expected. When a role becomes redundant in one of our markets, the process took significantly longer than Remote initially indicated. Communication during that period was inconsistent. We had to follow-up multiple times to get status updates, and the uncertainty was uncomfortable for everyone involved. Clearer timeline upfront and more proactive updates during the termination process will make the difficult situation less stressful.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

They invited me with the offer, "Earn $25 for Sharing Your Feedback about Remote on G2.com." I submitted my honest feedback based on that promise. However, after completing the review, I never received the promised $25 reward. Instead of attracting people with financial incentives and then failing to deliver, they should build a system that encourages users to leave genuine feedback voluntarily.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When my verification wasn't completing, I spoke to their support and they explained everything to me very nicely and then I completed the verification very easily.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I really appreciated how fast and smooth my onboarding process was. The team was very helpful, provided support whenever needed, and followed up throughout the process. I also value that payments are always made on time and that all payroll information is clear and transparent. Overall, Remote has been reliable and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

So far, I have not experienced any major issues with Remote. The only area I believe could be improved is the communication around union contributions for foreign employees who may be unfamiliar with Brazilian labor laws and payroll practices. I would have appreciated clearer information regarding the contribution amount, as well as the fact that there is only a limited period after starting employment to opt out. Additionally, since enrollment can be completed remotely, it would be helpful if the opt-out process could also be handled remotely.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One area where I believe Remote could provide additional value is in supporting foreign employees who may not be familiar with local labor regulations. For example, when I raised concerns regarding union contributions, I was informed that the matter could only be resolved directly with the union. However, I was enrolled without ever having to communicate with the union myself. It would have been helpful if Remote could facilitate communication by providing clearer guidance, contact information, or advocating for a process where opting out can be handled remotely, just as enrollment was. Requiring employees to visit a union office in person and submit a handwritten letter can be particularly challenging for foreign workers who are still learning how local systems operate.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

Since this is my first time starting a job with a UK-based company, Remote made the onboarding process feel straightforward and not overwhelming. Everything was clearly laid out, so I always knew which step I was on and what to do next. I also really like the notifications - I don’t have to keep checking the platform because I get updates when things like my timesheets are approved or when something needs my attention. Overall, it makes the whole process feel smooth and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

At first, I struggled a bit with manually loading my timesheets because it wasn’t immediately clear what the most efficient approach was. However, after speaking with one of the chatbot assistants, they guided me to an automatic way to submit them, which made the whole process much easier. It would be helpful if this option were clearer from the start, especially for new users.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote makes it possible for me to work for a UK company while being based in another country, without having to worry about the legal or payroll side of things. It simplified the onboarding process and made things like contracts, right-to-work checks, and payments feel much more manageable, especially as someone starting their first role.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I find Remote incredibly straightforward. It allows me to see absolutely everything I need, like payslips, doing expenses, and time off tracking. All my documentation and any benefits included are there too. Having everything in one platform makes it easy to access and understand my payslip.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I think one of the biggest examples is that all of the benefits that are supplied are incredibly US centric. So based in New Zealand, the cover and medical support that I've just been looking at really isn't fit or tailored for the New Zealand market. It's very much tailored for The USA market.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote solves hiring challenges, enabling my company in the US to hire me while working remotely in New Zealand. It simplifies payroll, contract management, expenses, and time off, making everything accessible and easy to read in one platform, streamlining my HR processes.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

The response time is normally fast and the agents are kind and helpful. I'm able to find most things I need on my own.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

Finding information about my healthcare provider wasnt so intuitive. I'm not sure if it's something about Spain, but it took me long to understand the aspects around this topic. The Cobee enrollment to access some benefits wasn't clear until weeks after I enrolled, so maybe a little demo video explaining all benefits we get through Cobee could help new employees. The start of a new job is very stressful per se, so any little thing that helps making this process smoother is welcome.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been helping me understand the benefits associated to my work. I must say the support is great, so whenever I face an issue, I know that opening a ticket will likely solve my problem in some hours.

I like how Remote is very simple and organized, which makes managing my employment details, payroll, and other documents a breeze by having everything on one platform. I appreciate the transparency in everything, which really makes a big difference in my day-to-day experience. Instead of reaching out to HR, I can access my payslip, contract, and personal details all in Remote.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The HMO feature since when I added dependents there is a charge to me and I don't have a specific person to call regarding this. It would be much better if there is a contact number of the representative.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Remote to manage my employment details, payroll, and documents in one place. It addresses my challenges managing these details, especially when working with international clients, by providing a simple, organized, and transparent platform, eliminating the need to contact HR.

Remote is a great organization connected with some of the most modern companies. They also have the legal forms in place, which shouldn’t be a point of concern in a normal world—but we’re not living in a normal world anymore :-)

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I haven’t had any difficulties with Remote. I keep all my paperwork stored on the platform, and my calendar is synced with Google. Everything handy is right at my fingertips, so I really have nothing to complain about.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote helps me stay organized and on top of the so-called back-office tasks, like paperwork, scheduling meetings on the calendar, and timekeeping.
