**What do you like best about Remote?**

I like that Remote has a good app and is pretty fast generally. Their handling of location packaging visas made it simple for my company to hire me in another country. I also appreciate the app for time tracking and seeing the payslips, which helps with managing day-to-day tasks easily.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The onboarding was not good. Because the relocation team and the people team, there are different teams working on my onboarding because of the visa, and they were not talking to each other properly. So there are a lot of miscommunication between the teams and myself.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote solved my visa issues, handled documentation, and streamlined onboarding. It simplifies time tracking, salary management, and time off. The app also makes managing day-to-day tasks easy with features like time tracking and payslip viewing.

The debacle we have every month when Remote's bank rejects our payments and freezes our account whilst they carry out checks that they do every month.

Transparent dashboard. Easy way to add hours worked and vacation requests.

Mistakes in the employment contract. Significant confusion regarding the terms of the contract. After onboarding, no Polish-speaking remote mentor. No overview of other team members' vacation days for the entire team. No option to change the language on the website.

(+)The ability to work from different locations. 
(-) Working 100% remotely does not allow for flexibility. Not everyone has the opportunity to work 100% remotely, or even remotely at all. Working 100% remotely means losing contact with the team, which has a negative impact on communication and team effectiveness.

I use Remote as an Employer of Record to be hired by a remote working company even when they're not based in Greece. I have direct access to my payslips, time-off, and submitting expenses is really easy and allows me to track them effectively. The web UI and mobile app are user-friendly and I can easily find what I'm looking for. I like using the mobile app because it integrates with my phone's security features like FaceID, so I can access my account easily. The menu is clean and structured, making it easy to track a previous payslip or see if my expenses have been approved or paid.

For my usage, I don't have anything that I dislike

I love that I get my payment on time, and that I have all the HR information at hand since they have a 24/7 AI chat to ask any questions I may have. Also, they have very complete and accurate information about many countries’ labor laws, allowing me to connect with companies from many countries without worrying about my work rights. It's very trustful for HR matters and doesn't affect or take decisions over my work productivity. The initial setup was really easy as I always got emails and pop-ups about how to proceed. So far, I think it’s the best HR resource I have ever used.

I have not found a way to see where the pension contributions are listed or who the pension provider is. I read that it might show up in the benefits section after a few months, but that wasn't clearly explained to me when I signed the contract or while navigating the app.

I find Remote incredibly easy to use, which is awesome for someone like me who often gets confused with numbers. The organization of everything within the app helps make understanding deductions and calculations straightforward, especially since I don't have a stable salary. I also appreciate the design of the app, as it's comfortable for the eyes, which really matters for someone with ADHD. The customer service is cool, always making the experience better. The setup was very friendly, fast, and not confusing at all.

Well sometimes it gets slow at night idk why in my area as I live in Morocco otherwise it's perfect

Remote has its own Knowledge Base articles that I can go through whenever I have questions about my employment. Additionally, their support team is available 24/7, and all of my questions have always been answered.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

At the moment, Remote has been very useful for my timekeeping, and it’s been great at keeping me up to date whenever there are changes to my employment. It also serves as an all-in-one, organized place for my employment records.

Mostly, my questions are about payroll and timekeeping. Sometimes I also ask about Philippine government employee benefits.

Remote's UI is super intuitive and allows for quick and easy access to all required functionality, be it as an employee to be able to submit your data for the initial time or as a user over a long period of time to monitor your Pay roll / expenses.

The Expense submission part of the app sometimes gets slightly buggy and refuses to accept a large number of expenses being uploaded via already taken photos. It prefers using the in app approach for this.

The only thing I can think of is that I needed to find the official address for when I applied for an ESTA, and I had to email them to ask what it was. They responded quickly though, so it wasn't that much of a problem.

Having everything in one consolidated view would make the expense reporting much more intuitive and efficient.

Honestly, there isn't much to dislike. If I had to point out something, occasionally the platform could benefit from more granular notifications or status updates when a request is being processed , just to reassure you that things are moving along. A few minor UI flows could also be slightly streamlined, but these are small observations rather than real pain points. Overall, the experience has been consistently positive.

Remote solves one of the biggest challenges of international employment: the complexity of being hired and paid across borders without friction. As an employee based in Ireland working through the platform, everything from contract management to payroll and compliance is handled seamlessly ; I don't need to worry about local tax regulations, payslip formats, or legal paperwork. Remote takes care of all of that in the background.
The benefit for me personally is a significant reduction in administrative overhead. Instead of chasing HR documents or trying to understand cross-border employment rules, I can focus entirely on my actual work. Having a single, reliable platform where everything is centralized ( documents, pay, support ) gives me confidence and peace of mind that the employment relationship is being managed professionally and compliantly.

Remote platform itself is excellent. The user interface is very intuitive, modern, and easy to navigate. From a technical and usability standpoint, it’s one of the best tools for managing global teams. Everything is organized and accessible.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The account management and support experience can be frustrating. There is often a lack of internal coordination; for example, I’ve had multiple managers handling the same request simultaneously, which caused a lot of confusion.
Communication regarding urgent matters is also a weak point. I recently requested a very important physical document. After waiting for two weeks, I had to follow up myself, only to find out the manager had already sent it to a post office but never notified me or provided a tracking number. For urgent and time-sensitive documents, this lack of proactive communication is unacceptable.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Remote, our main challenge was the complexity and high cost of international recruitment. We had to navigate the various labor laws, tax systems, and social benefits requirements in each country, which was slow and risky.
It's very convenient that we don't have to deal with paying all the taxes and filing all the paperwork ourselves.
