**What do you like best about Remote?**

Remote makes onboarding and payroll incredibly reliable.  The interface is very clean and user-friendly. I used it weekly for time tracking, monthly for pay stubs. It only takes a few seconds to perform these tasks. What impressed the most was the seamless setup of the account during the onboarding process. The responsive customer support and the ease of integration for uploading the documents.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

Remote work seamlessly with the national public holidays.
One great idea for future enhancements would be the ability to auto-sync additional state-specific regional holidays, which currently require a manual request and a 1-2 day approval process.  This would take ease of use to a whole new level.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote solves the problem of hiring people from all over the globe by handling the complexity of local laws, taxes, and work ownership.
Personally, I find that Remote provides a lot of peace of mind, knowing that my contract is 100%  compliant.
I'll get my salary on time in my own currency, without having to worry about the wire transfer fees or tax issues.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

Remote.com is great in my opinion. They have always paid me on time, or even ahead of time, which is something not many companies do. I've also benefited from great medical insurance through them, which has saved me a lot of money on medical things. Their customer support is simply great, very helpful, and I have no complaints about that. They have a great application with excellent usability and user experience, making everything go smoothly in our relationship. Also, the initial setup was super easy, extremely easy, and I wouldn't change it.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

Maybe the vacation days, how they are showcased inside the app.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Remote to get paid by my employer in the US without a business entity in Romania. Remote's timely payments and great medical insurance save me money. Their customer support and app usability are top-notch, making everything smooth.

I appreciate our dedicate account representatives as they are quick to respond and always provide helpful advice and context. 
The new AI capabilities have vastly improved on the version that came before and provides in the moment help that is based on our account not just general help desk information.
The UI/UX is organized and not overly complicated for the majority of features. 
It integrates fairly seamlessly with our HRIS.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

Some features are difficult to find.
Making edits to some areas can be difficult or must go through the Remote team.
The old AI agent was very difficult to work with and getting through it to a real person can be challenging.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us hire in 4 different countries and learn the local rules and regulations for all of our international markets.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I like the fact that Remote takes care of everything we need, always finding the best solutions in terms of health insurance, salary budgeting, and tax benefits. They offer a very good insurance that covers almost everything similarly to the United States, which is ideal for me and my family. I also appreciate the payroll processing, which allows me to receive in Portugal without needing to open a company or be an agent. Additionally, I value the speed with which they respond and resolve situations.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

What could be better would be to eventually have support via phone, which is never possible, only by email.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote helps process salaries, manage expenses, and handle legal issues to work with a Swiss company without a headquarters in Portugal. I like the quick responses and the good solutions for health insurance and tax benefits.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

The best tools from Remote is their customizable employment contract builder. Our legal team appreciates it because it automatically includes required clauses and notice periods for different countries based on the selected location. Plus, we can add our own company-specific terms and tailor the agreements to fit how we work without starting from scratch or needing to hire a local employment lawyer each time. Creating employee accounts and starting a new hire flow is smooth and well-designed. The platform guides you through each step clearly, and most onboarding processes can be handled directly by the employee through their own portal.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I really don't like the termination process. In certain countries, it has been slower than expected. When a role becomes redundant in one of our markets, the process took significantly longer than Remote initially indicated. Communication during that period was inconsistent. We had to follow-up multiple times to get status updates, and the uncertainty was uncomfortable for everyone involved. Clearer timeline upfront and more proactive updates during the termination process will make the difficult situation less stressful.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote solves our currency exchange delay issues, ensuring employee payments in Colombia and Portugal arrive on time and at the correct rate, unlike our previous provider.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

The ease of use of remote especially viewing your payslip, sumbitting your timesheet, applying for Leave. I mean even an 80 year old knows how to use remote and how user friendly it is. This is the best platform tjat i used so far.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I think minor improvements, like a 24 /7 chat support if you encounter some problems. Since remote is being used worldwide, wherever you are in the world, someone can reply with your concern in realtime to lessen creating tickets

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that remote is helping us is submitting our timesheet, even if you do it manually, there is an option where you can set it as a default so that next timesheet you submit, you just have the use the default one, and whats good is you can still edit it before submitting.

I like the option to receive part of your salary in kind, which is a great way to save on taxes. Also, the expense management tool that facilitates my life a lot.

Remote is in the middle of the employer and employee, wihc sometimes could be frustrating when you have some request.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote is making it possible for me to work for my Employer even though they don’t have a legal entity in Spain. 

For me personally, Remote takes care of all the administrative tasks: they pay my salary, manage paperwork, handle reimbursements, vacations, benefits, and even offer salary-in-kind options that help me save on taxes. 

They also ensure everything complies with local legal requirements, so I don’t have to worry about any of that. It’s been a smooth and stress-free experience, allowing me to focus entirely on my job.

I like that Remote is very user-friendly and that I can download it on my phone. I also appreciate being able to keep track of my payslips and everything in one place. The initial setup was very easy, and the support team was there to give me a hand along the way.

I think we can have more improvement when it comes to the detailed payslips, like, have more detailed information in regards to that.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I think that Remote is really easy to use. The UX and UI are excellent, and it feels like a plug-and-play kind of thing where you start using it right away. It's been simple to use, and it's never been a nuisance. In terms of operability, it's excellent with no issues. The initial setup was extremely simple, taking just five minutes to learn how to use the platform, and I had no issues with it. If I had a question, I could ask someone from Remote's staff and got an answer right away. Overall, it's very reliable and really simple, making it a great platform.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I usually get my payslips two weeks after I get my actual payment, so it's a bit desperate in terms of timing. It's confusing because I tend to believe it's my current payslip, but it's actually the previous one. It's a little strange, though it might just be a logistical issue.

Remote allows me to receive timely payments, manage payslips, and handle vacation requests easily. I can also send timesheets for review, streamlining payroll-related tasks.

I just got my 1st payout with Remote but my experience so far has been seemless. From the hiring process, document submission and pmatform registration I have not had the need to talk to anyone. Everything works remotely and I love that.

1 think I didnt like so far was the la k of stress o my benefits. I have learned more about the benefits I get from colleagues than from Remote itself. I would like Remote to highlight more this info.

As an employee, having a pmatform were I get accesos to my paystubs, have acccess to ask for time off. Benefits and more with out having to send emails to múltiple People is a great advantage. These days we appreciate easy acccess to information and self service and Remote is delivering that.

I like Remote because it's easy to use and provides a great experience. The customer support is really good, and setting it up was easy enough.

I feel like Remote could be more clear on some local benefits and how they actually work. Sometimes what they state on their site is not what it finally ends up being. For example, they mentioned that dependents' insurance falls under benefits of kind, but it turned out it's not.

They invited me with the offer, "Earn $25 for Sharing Your Feedback about Remote on G2.com." I submitted my honest feedback based on that promise. However, after completing the review, I never received the promised $25 reward. Instead of attracting people with financial incentives and then failing to deliver, they should build a system that encourages users to leave genuine feedback voluntarily.

When my verification wasn't completing, I spoke to their support and they explained everything to me very nicely and then I completed the verification very easily.

I really appreciated how fast and smooth my onboarding process was. The team was very helpful, provided support whenever needed, and followed up throughout the process. I also value that payments are always made on time and that all payroll information is clear and transparent. Overall, Remote has been reliable and easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

So far, I have not experienced any major issues with Remote. The only area I believe could be improved is the communication around union contributions for foreign employees who may be unfamiliar with Brazilian labor laws and payroll practices. I would have appreciated clearer information regarding the contribution amount, as well as the fact that there is only a limited period after starting employment to opt out. Additionally, since enrollment can be completed remotely, it would be helpful if the opt-out process could also be handled remotely.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One area where I believe Remote could provide additional value is in supporting foreign employees who may not be familiar with local labor regulations. For example, when I raised concerns regarding union contributions, I was informed that the matter could only be resolved directly with the union. However, I was enrolled without ever having to communicate with the union myself. It would have been helpful if Remote could facilitate communication by providing clearer guidance, contact information, or advocating for a process where opting out can be handled remotely, just as enrollment was. Requiring employees to visit a union office in person and submit a handwritten letter can be particularly challenging for foreign workers who are still learning how local systems operate.

Since this is my first time starting a job with a UK-based company, Remote made the onboarding process feel straightforward and not overwhelming. Everything was clearly laid out, so I always knew which step I was on and what to do next. I also really like the notifications - I don’t have to keep checking the platform because I get updates when things like my timesheets are approved or when something needs my attention. Overall, it makes the whole process feel smooth and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

At first, I struggled a bit with manually loading my timesheets because it wasn’t immediately clear what the most efficient approach was. However, after speaking with one of the chatbot assistants, they guided me to an automatic way to submit them, which made the whole process much easier. It would be helpful if this option were clearer from the start, especially for new users.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote makes it possible for me to work for a UK company while being based in another country, without having to worry about the legal or payroll side of things. It simplified the onboarding process and made things like contracts, right-to-work checks, and payments feel much more manageable, especially as someone starting their first role.

I find Remote incredibly straightforward. It allows me to see absolutely everything I need, like payslips, doing expenses, and time off tracking. All my documentation and any benefits included are there too. Having everything in one platform makes it easy to access and understand my payslip.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I think one of the biggest examples is that all of the benefits that are supplied are incredibly US centric. So based in New Zealand, the cover and medical support that I've just been looking at really isn't fit or tailored for the New Zealand market. It's very much tailored for The USA market.

Remote solves hiring challenges, enabling my company in the US to hire me while working remotely in New Zealand. It simplifies payroll, contract management, expenses, and time off, making everything accessible and easy to read in one platform, streamlining my HR processes.

The response time is normally fast and the agents are kind and helpful. I'm able to find most things I need on my own.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

Finding information about my healthcare provider wasnt so intuitive. I'm not sure if it's something about Spain, but it took me long to understand the aspects around this topic. The Cobee enrollment to access some benefits wasn't clear until weeks after I enrolled, so maybe a little demo video explaining all benefits we get through Cobee could help new employees. The start of a new job is very stressful per se, so any little thing that helps making this process smoother is welcome.

It's been helping me understand the benefits associated to my work. I must say the support is great, so whenever I face an issue, I know that opening a ticket will likely solve my problem in some hours.

I like how Remote is very simple and organized, which makes managing my employment details, payroll, and other documents a breeze by having everything on one platform. I appreciate the transparency in everything, which really makes a big difference in my day-to-day experience. Instead of reaching out to HR, I can access my payslip, contract, and personal details all in Remote.

The HMO feature since when I added dependents there is a charge to me and I don't have a specific person to call regarding this. It would be much better if there is a contact number of the representative.

Remote is a great organization connected with some of the most modern companies. They also have the legal forms in place, which shouldn’t be a point of concern in a normal world—but we’re not living in a normal world anymore :-)

I haven’t had any difficulties with Remote. I keep all my paperwork stored on the platform, and my calendar is synced with Google. Everything handy is right at my fingertips, so I really have nothing to complain about.

Having access to both the chatbot articles and access to Customer Care Specialists 24/7 has been a game-changer for me during my first month with Remote as my EOR because it has eased the anxiety that is normally present within the first month of starting a new job. I was able to get quick and clear answers to my questions from both the chatbot and Yoshi as they came up instead of having to collect them and send the durning normal business hours.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

I only really struggled with the uploading of my documentation before I started my new job. This was quickly resolved after I'd let Talent, the Onboarding Operations Specialist, know about this. Talent explained the features of the app and what was required to complete the steps. It was smooth sailing from there.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote has really been quite good at saving me time by automating functions such as the weekly submission of timesheets. This ensures that I can actually focus on my work tasks instead of dedicating time to these administrative tasks.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I love the cost calculator tool that Remote provides. It's really helpful to use before every new hire conversation. I can enter a country and a salary and get visibility into the full employment cost, including taxes, mandatory benefits, and the Remote service fee, before committing to anything. This upfront visibility helps us budget more accurately and avoid surprises. Additionally, the platform is intuitive, and both new employees and employers pick it up quickly. What I like most is the speed and simplicity of the onboarding process. Signing documents digitally is often complicated, but here Remote was really excellent. The signing was very quick and trustworthy. Additionally, the app was very fast and optimized. The download and registration were quick and seamless. The further upload of documents and the signing of new documents also went quickly and smoothly. Contact with support was quick within a few hours and very efficient, and additional questions from me were answered quickly and expertly via email support.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

I like how user-friendly the software is. It is very easy to understand, especially the section where we need to upload files. It also sends notifications for almost everything—whether there is a ticket about pay or updates on timesheet submissions. It is truly a one-stop shop for everything you need to know regarding HR. Also, I love the fact that we got our first pay on time. I also love the AI chat feature. There are opportunities to improve, but the overall performance of Remote software is good. So far, I have not connected it to other integrations or external tools. I would love to explore the integrations part. In my opinion, my client made a good investment in taking on Remote software.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

This is my first time being introduced to and using Remote. Compared to other software platforms I have used in the past, I hope they can improve the response time of their customer support. It would be highly beneficial to have a support team that responds within the same day. Communication becomes difficult when days pass without an answer—especially when relying on a general support inbox. Even when reaching out directly via a specific email address, it still takes few days to get a response.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using the platform, our international client faced a massive hurdle because they have no legal business entity established in the Philippines. We were previously managed through a local third-party agency, which created a complete lack of transparency. Our client had zero visibility into the exact breakdown of what they were paying the agency versus what we were actually receiving in our take-home pay. Trying to transition us away from that model while protecting the benefits we had already earned would have cost our client an immense amount of time, money, and legal effort to figure out on their own.

Implementing Remote completely changed this dynamic. We struggled with administrative blindness, high agency overhead, and compliance risks, but now we can employ our entire team legally and directly through an Employer of Record (EOR) model, which has resulted in 100% financial transparency, full compliance with local labor laws, and complete autonomy over our compensation.

Thanks to Remote handling all HR compliance and legalities, our client cut out the middleman entirely. This saved them months of legal setup time and significant corporate expansion costs. Most importantly, it gives our client total control to decide our pay directly and ensure we retain our hard-earned benefits, entirely eliminating the guesswork.

**What do you like best about Remote?**

Clocking in is simple: I log in, tap once, and I’m signed in or out. There aren’t any complicated menus or drawn-out steps to get through. I can also download my paychecks whenever I want, without having to go through HR, and they’re neatly filed so they’re easy to find and access. The vacation and leave request section is straightforward too; I can quickly see how many days I have left and submit a request in seconds. Overall, the app looks great, everything is well organized, and it’s easy to navigate. You don’t need to be a tech expert to use it. I've been using daily Remote for about a month now and it's great to be able to track expenses, especially for someone like me who travels frequently. It's very useful to have a chat with a dedicated customer support operator so you can report problems without having to send emails. From my perspective as an employee, implementation was very simple: I received an email with the link to register, and within 5 minutes I had my account ready to clock in. No complicated procedures. I don't know much about the technical integrations because as an employee I only use the basic functions, but I can say that the app works well on its own!

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

There’s honestly nothing I’d change about Remote, mainly because it’s simple and intuitive to use. The only thing I might add is an option in Payslip Action to report payroll-related issues or submit requests directly to the relevant company team’s email address.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can finally track my remaining vacation days and leave without having to dig through my paychecks. It also makes it easy to plan my next vacation, since I can clearly see the total vacation entitlement I’ll accrue over the entire year.

Things that I like about Remote is the automated local compliance alert. It has definitely saved the day for us by keeping things running smoothly for our business. The system tracks updates from local labor boards in the background and proactively pings us whenever there are changes in international regions, like mandatory pension contribution rates or statutory holiday schedules. This feature saves us from accidental legal slip-ups, ensuring we stay within the legal requirements and follow each country's laws and governance. Using Remote reduces the time I have to spend tracking and finding information manually, as everything is automatically updated if any changes occur.

**What do you dislike about Remote?**

The mobile app interface is too cumbersome for managers. While it works fine for employees submitting receipts, trying to review complex contract adjustments or approve multi-country payroll runs from a phone web browser is challenging. That really requires a desktop setup.

**What problems is Remote solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote solves issues with foreign currency and predictability, saving us from conversion fees with consistent billing rates. It also automates local compliance alerts, preventing legal slip-ups by tracking labor board updates and notifying us of changes.
