**What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?**

Ease of deployment. We had a week to come up with a solution for almost 300 users to work from home. There were free built-in tools like Windows RD Services, and MS teams were available. We even thought of deploying VPN clients as well but our users had never worked from home before. They wanted their work desktops at their homes. 
The time was limited and ease of use was the main priority. We used old discarded systems as dumb terminals. Ordered a few new and imaged them within a week with LogMeIn clients pre-configured. in the meantime deployed host app on office PCs and Macs. The cheapest and the best solution there is. Worked like a charm and still is going smooth. The configuration is so simple that even a two-year-old can do it with a few clicks.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

None whatsoever. We have not had any issues or problems.

**What problems is LogMeIn Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our users are connecting to their workstations which was the main objective. We as IT provide them with support using LogMeIn Rescue. Users have worked just like they are sitting in the office.  For us, that saved us from a lot of hassle because the non-technical users didn't felt a change.

The ease of deployment and daily use is wonderful. As a company that was built around a everyone reporting to our facility, this has quickly and easily allowed our staff to work remotely as essential workers during this weird time.

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?**

Quick access for admin without anyone being present at the machine.
Being able to review computer updates, event viewer, programs running etc... w/out having to disrupt the user.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

I wouldn't say I dislike anything much about it...  The one issue I ran into since so many of us are working from home now, I find that if I want to quickly login while a user is logged in for a joint support session and we're both working remotely, it' a little more cumbersome.  I have to use a different tool.  Interestingly enough, I found that MS Remote Desktop and LogMeIn can't run sessions at the same time.  One kicks the other off. I can have the LogMeIn user send an invitation via LogMeIn for me to have access but I have to talk them through it.  I can also have them do a screen share using MS Teams.  It's just something we've had to work through.

**What problems is LogMeIn Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have to scramble for nearly everyone to be able to work remotely when COVID-19 hit.  I activated a few extra user accounts but I already had LogMeIn installed on every PC in our network for administrative purposes.  The transition was nearly effortless.

Easy to use interface. Setting up users and deploying software was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

I didn't like how you couldn't suspend or put a computer license on hold. You had to delete the software from the host PC to reclaim a license. Having the ability to suspend a licence would be nice so all you have to do is enable the account once the client is ready.

**What problems is LogMeIn Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote printing is made easier with LogMeIn. Remote access in general is much easier to deploy and train the client to use.

Ease of use and installation.  We had to get Logmein installed and ready for use within one day for our entire staff.  Being able to train those who are less tech-savvy to use it was critical to us.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

I wish pricing was a little cheaper but it does what we need it to so I can't complain too much.

We haven't had any problems.  Having Logmein Central saved our livelihood because we were able to continue working as normal.

Nothing. It has been very reliable and convenient. Just wish there was a subscription level somewhere between 25-50. I need 26, but have to pay for 50.

I like the ease that i can remote into computers.  I like that I can pull reports on software installed.  I like that I can update registry and other commands remotely.  I like that I can install software easily.

I wish the LogMeIn client was a little more robust.

We are deploying software faster and more efficient than ever.  Being able to remotely edit the registry has been a big help to us as well.  The reporting feature has been invaluable for windows updates compliance.

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?**

What I really like is that I can remotely view a co-worker's computer to solve technical problems more effectively, since she was not an expert in technology, this was the easiest way to help her. It saved me many hours driving back and forth to help her, I have even used it extensively with my mother and mother in law who are less competent in technology. This software allows me to teach them remotely in real time and with the appropriate comments, the skills I needed on the computer.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

What I dislike is copying and pasting from a remote PC to a local Mac can be problematic since the clipboard does not always synchronize or paste in different formats add spaces, delete line breaks, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering LogMeIn Central:**

LogMeIn is an incredible tool that gives me access to my computer worldwide for commercial and personal use, it is easy to configure and explain to customers, remote access is essential, downtime has been eliminated and access to Information that can be crucial for a meeting in a few clicks. With LogMeIn I can access my clients on the other side of the world without having to leave my home, a reliable program that I would recommend to anyone because it works on any system we have not had any real problem that has not been handled immediately, which eliminates frustration

With regard to remote access programs, this is one of the best we have used, it allows access through operating systems which is very beneficial and is not true for some of the popular products of the competition. LogMeIn also offers some good security features essential for the business application, it is very easy to manage users while allowing each user to create their own account and password, in addition to each remote machine the user can customize the allowed downtime, add an additional password to access and filter IP addresses that can be accessed remotely.

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?**

Log me in differs from other remote access programs and for that reason I chose it, for my company, I like the ease with which I can print remotely, as well as save and share files from a different office or from any other place in whoever finds me is very safe, which is great, because it gives me the confidence and tranquility that my information is protected from intruders.

I like to be able to save time while I work in other areas, the program is responsible for doing daily tasks that I already automatic, I also loved the free trial.

The log me in program has many important skills so that the work team can execute their daily tasks, simplify tasks and help solve problems, but the function of multiple devices, we have seen that improvements are needed, in the way it is visualized, it would be Good that they will be able to correct this area.

I recommend this program for its security, effectiveness and importance it has had in the company, I manage to save my passwords, which is great, because sometimes they forget, Log me in, without a doubt, provides the ease and quality that my team needs. Your results are excellent. Use it.

This platform has allowed us to solve problems of a computer without having to go to the place, because our headquarters is large, that can generate waste of time, as well as delays, but thanks to log me in, we manage faster solutions and efficient.

On the other hand, it has given us the possibility of monitoring, managing tasks in a different way.
The training time was very short, because its interface is easy to use, this allows the team to be more effective, besides the access to the cloud has been an advantage for all.

I liked access to the desktop remotely as it allowed me to work from home when needed, and let me access the internal drives where my files were all stored. Allowed me to work on another employee's desktop from my workstation, which was convenient.

It didn't always work for me, especially after a windows 10 update was done. I wanted to work from home and when I tried to log in I couldn't. I could not work from home that day as I hadn't brought any files home, I should have been able to access them all from LogMeIn.

Make sure it is working before you go home or remote, so you can work out any bugs ahead of time.

it is very business friendly and IT friendly you can manage accounts and assign permissions and based on the user just show up the pc's they need access to, and its easy to monitor updates and security preferences

the user interface on mobile devices like iPad and iPhone is not as user friendly as its competitors also the biggest downside is that they raise the prices tremendously each year 
i started off with a 60% off to trick me into changing and now i am stuck with this logmein

dont look at it if price is a factor but functionality it competes with others

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?**

The administration of applications and updates is an aspect that we use a lot, since from there it is easily reviewed that everything is in the latest version and working correctly.

You can also access the workstation remotely, so it is much easier to use, this is a great addition to the application. This remote access is usually quite stable, there are hardly any connection cuts or access failures, which is what I wanted from this program, stability in its operation.

On the other hand, connectivity improves with its application for Android and IOS, since through both you can also access and make changes and I think you have optimized it quite well.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

The functionality of the user group must be better defined. I think it is a little complex to understand the permissions and privileges of each of the groups and it is also difficult to choose which group of users will be used for certain operations.

They should clarify and improve this functionality, since I consider it key to be able to manage each of the groups that are created within the application.

Remote attention and support to users must be done quickly and accurately. LogMeIn Central allows that from any computer or from mobile applications you can attend and perform both support and management of updates and installations.

I think it is a good tool to improve the attention to users.

It is a tool that helps us to manage the updates of windows and certain applications and also to enable or disable antivirus installations, since all these aspects are managed in a simple way and more quickly, since it can be done in multiple groups of users and computers at the same time.

Remote support also means that we are able to help and resolve any problem or management that may be caused to a group of users. We can support both from computers and sometimes from mobile, because as I said before your apps for Android and IOS allow that support is also done efficiently from mobile phones.

I like that it is so natural to utilize when I am out of the workplace and need access to my work area. It was steady and had the capacity to wake up remote machines from rest and log you in without composing in the secret key. It has spared my work life numerous multiple times when I need a report for my supervisor or data for my customer while working remotely. Above all, it is easy to install and setup.

Regardless of kinda being expensive, it is a great solution. I would recommend that you distinguish what you have to do first and after that settle on the choice. It is perfect for direct remote access to your work areas or servers.

There has been moment remote access with extraordinary quality and highlight rich while not before computer(s). It has decreased overhead for planning remote sessions and furthermore refreshes. It diminishes the time need to keep up your PCs too.

LogMeIn Central provides a centralized platform to connect remotely to clients and track issues, with LMI's user friendly UI. There are also a variety of security features.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

There is some slight problems with scalability - the more clients you have, the slower the tool appears to run, at least from our experience.

The ability to access mores either through a browser or through an installed client is a benefit.   Also the ability to perform a support session with a remote PC that does not have the client is also a benefit.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

The cost is definitely a factor.  There are many other remote support tools out there for less cost, but I'm not sure they offer all the same features in one package.

We run several application on out central network where you actually have to me on the local LAN.  Beside the remote support abilities that I personally get, this tool also lets my employees work from home or on the road with a laptop. and I don't have to worry about security.

Install and management of Central is easy for admin as well as end-users. Because of this users tend to use the product a lot

Users frequently get confused on what to do with the two logins. The first to authenticate to central, the second to authenticate the remote computer itself. I feel like the software spells this out pretty well, but unfortunately its still the biggest source of our support tickets.

remote access to computers and data from any device or location gives flexibility to end-users so they don't have to always go into the office to access needed data. We frequently see this solution used in multi-site environments, or when the end-users works one or more days a week from home.

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?**

LogMeIn Central gives us a great dashboard and easy to use remote access tool to server our clients. It also allows us to create additional users to provide our client's users with remote access to their machine in a secure manner. 

The tool is easy to install and push out to endpoints and also provides us some additional insight into the security of the machine. Also, the apps on IOS and Andorid allow us to access machines while on the go which is a great plus.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

The only downside we have with the product is that the cost seems to go up year after year. It is a great product so we continue to spend the money.

LogMeIn central allows us to have a single dashboard for remote access into all the computers we manage for our clients. It gives us a one-stop shop for remote access and allows us to save time connecting to computers and providing support to users.

Easy of access.  I love the Transfer File option.  I don't have to log in to the the remote computer and disturb anyone using it if I just need to update a file.  We have it on 11 devices.

I haven't had any major problems to complain about.  Updates are fast, connection is good.

Extra paperwork needed from the restaurants, and they are too busy when I need it, so I can just log on and print it myself to my printer in the office.  I can update phone lists, and excel formula files.  Saves time, and helps when there is an issue that someone less computer savy can't fix.

LogMeIn has evolved from humble beginnings (I was a customer way back, of the predecessor company) to be a powerhouse in remote management.  They go to technological extremes to make sure its only me, logging into the devices I manage.  Remote is quick and reliable under many different network conditions.  I also love that I can invite a user to co-manage any subset of my devices under management.

Honestly, the only niggling feeling I get is when its time to pay for renewal.  There are no inconvenience I experience during the year.

Very convenient to be able to log on to my employees computers while they are working and monitor their progress. Also allows me to access  their computers after hours to review progress. Also allows me to locate patients information when needed.Great for supervision and to see if employees completed tasks assigned. Can print remotely.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

Logs off sporadically without notice. Highly dependent on good internet service to get quick access. Also, cannot use easily on tablets or phones unless pay extra. Need to know each computers unique passwords.

It allows me to view my office desktop remotely for applications not downloaded on my personal computer (due to security)

There is a significant lag, especially when trying to use highly complex software, no matter what WiFi or internet connection I've been on.  Options for displaying 2nd or 3rd monitors is difficult, especially when remoting in from a single screen on a small laptop.

**What problems is LogMeIn Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the travel industry, being able to have access to client information and travel booking software (GDS mostly) is imperative for when clients are stranded or having issues with reservations outside of regular business hours.  Having access to software loaded on work computer while at home is very beneficial.

I no longer like logmein for vessel, it is very unstable due to CAPTCHA and DNS issues, logmein.com is hard to resolved from our system.

Support is far from great, especially for Mac users like us. We've reported a bug more than a year ago and it's still an ongoing issue during most remote sessions. macOS compatibility with features, and Mac specific support is very limited.

I think LogMeIn isn't keeping up with the other players in this field and their pricing is too high for the quality of the product. Maybe they are too busy acquiring GoToMeeting and don't spend much resources to keep what used to be the reference tool for RMA.

Cannot remove client pc's from the app; also since the majority of client pc's are having LogMeIn installed for us to be able to remote INTO, the install process should ASK whether the ignition client needs to be installed or not.  Usually it does not.

Remember they can charge monthly, that helps when the total amount spent is a larger number.  Makes it easier for budgeting purposes.

If you have PCs in remote locations I can't recommend this product enough.  It has been a Godsend for us.

We do A/V integration all over Illinois and surrounding states so it is fantastic for us to be able to log into a machine remotely and update programming on the system components or reboot devices.  It has saved us a lot of time and money not having to drive to the location for a simple change or fix.

The ease of use and consistency of LogMeIn clearly make it a leader of remote control apps. Install the client and you are good to go.

Additionally, rebooting a client into safe mode w/ networking, or force-rebooting a stuck server (when necessary) is a breeze.

The pricing is so high!  I had to negotiate a price...  They seem to want to weed out small business users...

Also, the remote PXE boot still isn't reliable (after all these years).

Reduce cost for those small business IT services companies who don't need file transfer, update management, etc.

I like that logmein works on virtually any system and the the client app works on everything.  We use this in the field with our android devices so that we can monitor our equipment when doing service with out having to run back and forth to the computer.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

There's not much that I don't like about LogMeIn.  Probably the only complaint I have is that some of our customers are starting to not allow logmein due to security concerns with PCI compliance.  I believe that LogMeIn is more than secure, but unfortuanately they do not have the certifications that our clients are starting to require.

**Recommendations to others considering LogMeIn Central:**

Logmein has many great features for remote support, it also has products like logmein rescue that can be emailed to a person and quickly allow them to give you remote control of their computer.  LogMeIn rescue also lets you remote control smart phones  LogMeIn has other great products as well such as Last Pass ( i use this daily ) and Hamachi ( a good quick vpn tool)

LogMeIn has enabled our company to be able to support multiple sites at one time versus needing to go to the site every time a customer had a problem.  LogMeIn also supports multi level security and works directly with Last Pass for authentication.  One of our biggest Clients uses logmein and has granteded us access to their account, everytime we need to connect it sends an email with a unique security code to prevent unauthorized use.

What I do not like about Logmein is the high price, which is burdensome for both companies and private users. If they improved the price, many users would adopt the software.

**What do you like best about LogMeIn Central?**

Being able to control our 1300+ PCs in a quick and easy manner is the greatest asset to LogMeIn.  Not only can you control them, but you can get in the backdoor and launch a registry editor, a command prompt, kill/start services, task manager, performance monitor, event viewer and more without even controlling the PC - meaning that the user is not disrupted.  You can also schedule reboots, change user passwords, and all kinds of other stuff.

**What do you dislike about LogMeIn Central?**

They raise the prices by a LOT every year.  It used to be $5000 a year, and they jacked it up to $10,000 a couple years ago.  The next year they raised it to $15,000.  I'm sure they will continue to raise prices.  We'll be priced out of this if it gets any more expensive.

**Recommendations to others considering LogMeIn Central:**

If you can lock down pricing for longer than a year, I would do so.  Don't expect your introductory pricing to hold.  If you can afford it, LogMeIn is a terrific tool.  But if you are using another RMM tool like Autotask Endpoint, N-Able, Kaseya, etc., then you may not need this additional software.

**What problems is LogMeIn Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients who are not on any kind of contract can still be added to the LogMeIn Central portal.  Also, we're able to resell access to LogMeIn which helps offset costs.  We have unattended access to computers so we can schedule work to be done when our clients are closed.
