What do you like best about greytHR?

The software is highly intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to access all the necessary information with just a single click. Managing and organizing data for multiple employees is also simple and well-structured.

The integration of other softwares along with GreytHR are made easy and all the required datas are processed from one software to another and no need to copy paste every time you make changes.

The customer support is on point and very helpful especially during the critical stages. They have always come with solutions when required.

All our employees are solely dependant on the GreytHR portal for their payroll and tax break up data and have never heard a single complaint on the portal and most of users frequently use the portal for reimbursement and anything related to payments.

"How greytHR Simplified People Operations at Alten"
What do you like best about greytHR?

Working at Alten as a design engineer and technical documentation specialist, the administrative side of HR payroll queries, leave requests, pay slip access used to require going through the HR department for almost everything. greytHR changed that dynamic noticeably.

The automation of core HR tasks is where the platform earns its place immediately. Payroll calculation, tax deductions, and pay slip generation all happen automatically without manual intervention. For a large organization like Alten where these processes run across a significant number of employees, the reduction in manual workload and the consistency that automation brings is a practical and visible benefit. The margin for human error on something as sensitive as payroll is also much lower when the process is handled systematically rather than manually.

The Employee Self-Service Portal is the feature used most regularly on a day to day basis. Being able to access pay slips, update personal information, and manage leave requests independently without raising a ticket or waiting for an HR response saves real time. In a busy engineering and documentation workflow where administrative interruptions break concentration, having that self-sufficiency built into the platform is genuinely appreciated.

What also stands out is how well the platform connects different HR functions together. Attendance tracking, leave management, performance management, and even exit formalities all sit within the same system. At Alten, where project teams move across different assignments and timelines, having all of that in one integrated platform rather than spread across separate tools keeps things organized and easy to reference.

The scalability is worth mentioning too. greytHR clearly works for organizations of different sizes, and at an enterprise level like Alten it holds up well without feeling overcomplicated or under-featured for the scale of the operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about greytHR?

there are no dealbreakers here. The platform does its job well enough that none of the limitations have come close to making a case for switching. But a few rough edges are worth mentioning honestly.

The user interface is the most obvious one. It is functional and gets the job done, but it feels like it has not kept pace with how modern HR platforms look and feel today. Navigating between sections at Alten occasionally feels a little clunky not broken, just not as smooth or intuitive as it could be. For a first-time user coming in without training, finding the right section or completing a multi-step task is not always immediately obvious.

The reporting features are another area that feels underdeveloped relative to the rest of the platform. For a design and documentation professional who regularly works with structured data and detailed output, the reporting tools feel a bit basic. Generating customized reports filtering by specific parameters, formatting output for project or compliance purposes requires more manual work than it should. The data is there, but getting it out in a useful, tailored format takes more effort than expected.

System speed is an occasional frustration. There are times, particularly during peak usage periods, where the platform responds more slowly than normal. It is not a consistent problem but noticeable enough to mention especially when accessing pay slips or submitting leave requests during busy periods.

What do you like best about greytHR?

The best thing I like in GreyHR is that you can apply for regularization of attendance very easily. You can also see the allocation of paid leaves and sick leaves. What do you like best about greytHR?

The interface is very user friendly and I don't need to spend much time with employees teaching them how to use the Greythr app. It is quite self-explanatory when it comes to applying for leaves, checking daily attendance and downloading payslips. Also, the admin version of the app which I use as an HR manager is efficient and makes my daily operations work much easier. It gives me all the consolidated data of employee's attendances, late comings and also automatically deducts the salary on their payslip if I put half-day for an employee when they are late to work. What do you dislike about greytHR?

The server sometimes hangs up which causes the app to logout automatically. This is a bit of a hassle as all the employees then need to log back into the app every time they want to use it. It doesn't stay automatically logged in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
