Support is annoying the information that AI chatbot gives is very frequently incorrect so you need to talk to it and get it to direct to normal support (which is also wrong 50% of the time so getting correct answer usually takes multiple interactions). I find the centralized platform beneficial as it allows me to see all employees in one place. The integration with HiBob sounds promising, especially for smoother onboarding and offboarding and improved leave management. I also like the reduced time it takes to complete payroll across multiple currencies with Remote. The economic savings and efficiency of having all employees under one platform is another reason why I switched to Remote. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Remote? The onboarding experience and knowledge of the team have been substandard. The implementation team has been very inexperienced and uncoordinated. It has been a painful process. Key account managers should be appointed so we are not bounced around various teams to find a solution. We have wasted a lot of time internally trying to effectively manage Remote. Many times we completed information for the team only for it to be lost or unsaved on their side. The initial setup of Remote was terrible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The customer service is terrible. You can NEVER speak with a person. It is all done by email. This makes explaining complex issues difficult. The response time after submitting an issue can be up to three days, and the answers that you get back are often incomplete and occasionally don't make any sense. They need to provide faster customer service with the ability to speak with a live person! Everything is done through their portal, which wasn't easy to set up. There was a lot of paperwork, and some of it was unclear without anyone to speak to. If there are issues with benefits, you need to wait days for a reply. The most annoying part of using them is Customer Service. The chat box works fine, you can find very basic answers there and people working there are lovely. The problem is that often they do not have authority to provide any information or solve issue. So they need to pass the ticket to other department. And then if can be weeks of no respond, or you have to wait multiple days of having 1 reply. Working in HR space where these things are very delicate and often requires the respond right away is really really problematic. I considered switching the provider at least 3 times in less than a year when I work with them. Really sad that when companies have such a great product really damage business with very poor CC support. Effective customer support should be Nr 1. investment they should be doing. It also takes a good 4-5 days between 'your salary is on the way' and the money actually reaching my account. And it's not my bank, I checked already. There is often a lack of internal coordination; for example, I’ve had multiple managers handling the same request simultaneously, which caused a lot of confusion. Communication regarding urgent matters is also a weak point. I recently requested a very important physical document. After waiting for two weeks, I had to follow up myself, only to find out the manager had already sent it to a post office but never notified me or provided a tracking number.
