## About SIGNL4
SIGNL4 is an operational alerting and response platform that ensures critical events, alerts and incidents trigger immediate action - anywhere. Modern monitoring, IT infrastructure, cloud services, and IoT systems can detect problems instantly - but alerts alone do not guarantee response. Simple notifications sent via email, SMS, or chat are often missed, delayed, or fail to reach the right person, especially outside the office or during off-hours. SIGNL4 ensures that critical alerts reach the right responders - wherever they are and in an fully automated manner. With mobile-first alerting, automated escalation, and reliable delivery, it bridges the gap between alert detection and real-world response. The platform provides capabilities for alert unification and triage, on-call alerting, incident response, and alert escalation, including push notifications with mute override, SMS text and voice alerts, escalation policies, AI-assisted duty scheduling, and real-time acknowledgment tracking. Alerts are escalated automatically until a responder takes ownership, ensuring no critical issue is left unattended. The comprehensive and intuitive mobile app works as the anywhere incident command center. Designed for IT operations, DevOps, security teams, and operational environments beyond the desk, SIGNL4 enables fast, reliable response across IT, OT, and IoT systems. The convenience of interfaces such as email, webhooks, and pre-built two-way connectors further enhances SIGNL4's functionality. These features facilitate the integration of the alerting and response layer into the entire operations stack, allowing organizations to leverage their current infrastructure while improving incident response capabilities. By turning alerts into immediate, accountable action - anywhere - SIGNL4 helps organizations reduce downtime and maintain mission-critical operations and operational excellence. SIGNL4 is built for the heroes who keep everything running.

## SIGNL4 Reviews
 ### 1. Real added value for reliable IT monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Flexibility and possibilities offered by SIGNL4. Simple shift planning and escalation management complete the overall package. The support responds to inquiries promptly and absolutely reliably. The AI summaries are generally very helpful.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Unfortunately, there is still no incoming SMS interface. In the event that our data center is disconnected from the internet and SIGNL4 is therefore not reachable, we have fallback SMS gateways. It would be nice if we could direct these SMS directly to SIGNL4 for unified alarm management. Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. Unfortunately, the service is not exactly cheap, which is why you have to think very carefully in advance about whom to include as a user.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our problem is reliably alerting our IT infrastructure to the on-call duty without having to constantly pass on a specific on-call phone (as we did in the past). Due to increased home office regulations during Corona, this was no longer feasible. SIGNL4 now helps to deliver the alerts to the BYOD devices of the on-duty staff, and that on all channels (push, SMS, call).

 ### 2. SIGNL4: Reliable alerting with a strong app and easy integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan F. | Automation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

SIGNL4 is a reliable and easy-to-use alerting solution for on-call teams. It ensures critical alerts reach the right people instantly via mobile push notifications, even outside business hours. Integration with monitoring and ticketing systems is straightforward, and the escalation and duty scheduling features work very well in practice. The mobile app is clear and responsive, making it easy to acknowledge and manage incidents on the go. In addition, SIGNL4 offers fair, scalable pricing and responsive, helpful support. Overall, it significantly improves response times and operational reliability.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

One limitation of SIGNL4 is its purely cloud-based availability. Since the platform depends on an active internet connection, configuration and alert handling can be impacted in environments with unstable connectivity or strict offline requirements. For organizations with strong on-premises, compliance, or disaster-resilience demands, this can be a drawback. Providing enhanced offline capabilities or an optional local component could further broaden SIGNL4’s applicability in highly critical or regulated environments.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Use Case: Error Notification Forwarding and On-Call Alerting
We use SIGNL4 to forward error notifications from our systems to the responsible on-call staff. Errors are sent to SIGNL4 via email and are then automatically routed to the appropriate employees based on a defined shift schedule.
Before using SIGNL4, there was no structured on-call or alerting system in place, which meant issues could easily be missed. With SIGNL4, alerts reliably reach the right person at the right time, even outside business hours. This has already helped us react faster to incidents and prevent potential system outages.

 ### 3. Simple to deploy, efficient and affordable, with numerous integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentin Y. | Responsable Technique, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

The simplicity of setup / activation while meeting the needs of an SME. The dedicated Mobile interface for operators (clean and simple). Numerous integrations. The performances are up to the mark. No slowness or failure in ticket transmission to report. The extremely attractive pricing. The responsiveness of support in general.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

The addition of AI is interesting, but it deserves to be explored further.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to manage my on-call team from a centralized space. Above all, it helps to never miss an alert. Thanks to a few integrations, I can also perform performance analysis on reaction and resolution times.

 ### 4. Amazing Experience with SIGNL4

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago D. | Platform Manager & Support, Telecommunications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I like how it sends us notifications abThe fact that we receive notifications about events related to our product.out our product.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Nothing. I feel it’s an excellent product for what it offers.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIGNL4 helps us reliably receive real-time alerts about our product events, improving our response time and monitoring. The UI/UX is simple and easy to use, integrations work well, and performance is very reliable even on the free plan. Setup and onboarding are straightforward, and support is helpful when needed. Overall, it provides good value for alerting and basic incident awareness without requiring a paid plan.

 ### 5. Fast Incident Alerts and Quick Acknowledgement on Mobile

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian T. | CyberSecurity Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I get fast notifications about incidents or problems through a phone call or the mobile app, and I can quickly mark them as acknowledged or resolved.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

So far, I haven’t found any issues with Signl4. The only drawback for me is the price, which I think could be a bit lower.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Signl4 solves the cost of having a PBX with VoIP for night-time on-call calls with PBX and VoIP management costs, and timely alarm reporting.

 ### 6. Simple Yet Powerful Platform with Excellent Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | Security Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

The platform is simplistic yet robust. It integrates with everything and allows both high-level, sweeping as well as extremely granular controls of alerts. Setup is quick and easy, and if you needed to, you could run with it out of the box for a while.

Their customer support team and customer management folks are super helpful and stick with you long after the setup is complete. What I think I appreciated most, is that when we were building a POC and testing the features, they gave us space to play and try things out. I wasn't hounded by the sales folks to purchase. They let the product speak for itself.

When you're setting up a tool that is potentially going to get you out of bed at 2am on Christmas eve, you want to make sure that its a companion, not a nuisance.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

More built in connections to different monitoring platforms would take this product to the next level, but there are great options as is.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a solid platform for alerting that allows us to be very granular about when and how alerts make their way to us. We were able to set up specific and differing processes for a single type of alert. Want something to alert all the time? No problem! Want something to alert during business hours and leave you alone after 5PM? No problem! Want something help you keep track of incident actions during an outage? No problem. Our overall budget for this was also fairly small, and this product came in at a fraction of what others wanted.

**Official Response from Matthes Derdack:**

> Thank you, Kyle!

 ### 7. SIGNL4, an evolving paging tool tailored to the customer needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessandro D. | Maintenance Electrician Trainee, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Continuous feature releases, a strong focus on customer needs, solid integration capabilities, and an overall ability to customize the platform to different requirements.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Scaling up multiple teams in bulk to a standard configuration on multiple teams is possible via REST API but not via UI.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Engaging teams effectively during critical incidents.

 ### 8. SIGNL4: Intuitive interface and easy integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | Systemadministrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

SIGNL4 offers us all the possibilities we need for our application. Through the intuitive user interface, it is very easy to manage the program. The integration into our infrastructure was very simple.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

I have no suggestions for improvement for the program.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Information flow in the company. With the help of SIGNL4, we have a more direct and faster information flow.

 ### 9. Straightforward, Powerful Syncing with Fast, Reliable Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

It’s pretty straightforward to use, and it’s powerful for syncing different people from a single event so they can take action. It’s also very easy to integrate with other tools, and it’s fast and quite reliable. The support they provide feels very personalized.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Pricing strategy is okay overall. Sometimes the configuration process takes a while, depending on the specific use case.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When an incident happens, it alerts the right people instantly and gives them a way to communicate and discuss what’s going on. Escalation is also handled automatically.

 ### 10. Flawless Performance and Easy Integration with SIGNL4

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I like that SIGNL4 is a separate notification channel from Teams or Email or any other channel that we use. It's easy to integrate with, and the performance has been flawless.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

For our use case, the pricing is a bit high, but I can see how a larger team would see a clear ROI.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get so many alerts in Teams (and an unmanageable amount of email), so it's nice to have a completely separate notification channel for new tickets and other crucial alerts.

 ### 11. Reliable alerting and strong escalation chain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

There are two things I particularly like about the product: firstly, the reliable alerting, and secondly, the escalation chain in case one of the shift-leading employees does not acknowledge/cannot acknowledge the alarm.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

The service runs in the cloud, so you might want to check which data you send via the API.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIGNL4 solves the problem for us that critical messages can easily be overlooked in everyday life – especially outside of regular working hours. Through automatic escalation, SIGNL4 ensures that someone actually responds.

 ### 12. Simple structure, strong integrations, and practical heartbeat monitoring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

The simple structure and the straightforward integration of various integrations like Checkmk. Particularly practical is the heartbeat monitoring feature. The app is also very commendable and practical.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

There are no direct disadvantages. What would be nice is the possibility of heartbeat monitoring even in the smallest license.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We want to monitor our internal IT infrastructure and thus business-critical issues. There are services and hosts that need to be available 24x7. SIGNL4 helps us easily and straightforwardly in monitoring the systems.

 ### 13. Reliable Icinga2 Push Notifications at a Reasonable Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Integrates well with our Icinga2 instance to get us reliable push notifications when issues arise. The app allows us to easily sign in/out if not part of the on-call roster, and the pricing is very reasonable.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Sometimes the app's UI can feel slow to refresh, especially when drilling down into the list of events.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed reliable alerting for 24/7 services. The alert tones included are something that even the heaviest sleeper isn't going to miss at 3am.

 ### 14. Calls Work Great and Support Our NOC Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leandro P. | Analista de infraestrutura de TI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

The calls works very well and help our NOC team.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

In my opinion, it would be better if had a Brazilian portuguese call option.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s solving the calls to our NOC and helping team to work together.

 ### 15. Easy Integration That Fit Our Workflow Perfectly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** R A. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

It was very easy to integrate into existing systems and workflow.

Message assignment, tracking, and stellar notification delivery has made this service invaluable to our organization.

 ### 16. Essential Tool for IT Security and Seamless Emergency Response

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

SIGNL4 has proven to be a valuable solution in the context of our ISO 27001 certification process and the implementation of BSI IT baseline protection. Through its efficient alerting and support for on-call duty and IT monitoring, we have successfully met the requirements for comprehensive IT security and emergency response. The system plays a crucial role in enabling us to detect potential IT issues early and respond quickly, without disrupting ongoing processes. The implementation of SIGNL4 into our existing systems was very straightforward and time-efficient, thanks to the open API and pre-built templates. Whenever questions or issues arose, customer support provided prompt and effective assistance.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

A downside of SIGNL4 is that the service is not available as an on-premises solution, but is offered exclusively as a SaaS (Software as a Service). As a result, we need to integrate our internal high-security systems into the SaaS solution, which requires significant effort and resources.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIGNL4 provides a double safeguard through its immediate real-time alerting and automated escalation: firstly, it ensures that the right people respond immediately to critical incidents, and secondly, it prevents an incident from escalating due to a lack of response. These features significantly increase efficiency and response speed, thereby directly contributing to the minimization of downtime and security risks.

 ### 17. Greatly improved Our Alert Management with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henri Paul B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I appreciate SIGNL4's seamless integration with our management consoles like Genetec, Samsung, SCOM, and SolarWinds, which helps consolidate our operations under one system. The user categories and enhanced shift management features significantly improve our team coordination and efficiency. The user interface is a vast improvement, making it more accessible for the team. I find the mobile app offers a superior user experience, allowing for ease of use on the go. Furthermore, the AI capabilities and insight reporting are incredibly beneficial for understanding alerts and gaining quick insights into activities, such as identifying patterns in weekly reports and pinpointing issues like 'noisy neighbors.' The transition from our previous platform was smooth, thanks to the supportive team from Derdack, making the initial setup very easy despite not transferring old configurations. Overall, the platform's features enhance our operations and provide a streamlined management experience.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

I feel a notable enhancement for SIGNL4 would be the inclusion of a 'war room' feature. This would allow the incident manager to reach out to everyone swiftly and facilitate quick communication during incidents.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIGNL4 enhances integration with management consoles and provides a streamlined user experience with team categorization and improved shift management. The AI helps in quick insight reporting, identifying issues efficiently, and the mobile app offers a better user interface.

The graphics of the app aren’t very nice to look at

 ### 21. Great Team Project Management and Integrations, but the UI Needs Polish

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

The team aspect for projects and the integrations.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

The UI can be a bit unintuitive. Pricing for smaller teams could be a bit more competive.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notifcation messages when systems are down.

 ### 22. SIGNL4 is AWESOME product that delivers the functionality that ALL ITSM and Operations teams need.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Y. | Infrastructure Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

SIGNL4's ability to deliver notifications promptly, reduce noise, and ease of use stand out. SIGNL4, a world-class support, engages with you to implement a process that works for your business.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

The only downside I am aware of is that it's a Cloud service, and connecting to on-premises systems is more challenging compared to their On-Prem solution, Enterprise Alert.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The solution allows us to use follow the sun model of ITSM and Infrastructure alerting. The solution ensures that end user/Customer calling in for assistance will not ever need to leave voice mail.

 ### 23. SIGNL4: Efficient, reliable, and easy to integrate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

SIGNL4 helps my company secure the data center and is used in building management.

 ### 24. Fast, reliable, and with top support – plus hundreds of integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Fast and reliable, with a short learning curve. Hundreds of integrations and very good support.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

So far, no really negative experiences.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alerting and Crisis Management.

 ### 25. Recent convert

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

When we rolled this out to two different teams, the response from our technical folks has been quite positive, which is not typical for most applications. One team is using SIGNL4 primarily to respond to alerts generated by Zabbix. The integration was quite easy to set up. The other team relies on it for call routing for different members of an on-call team.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Would like it if the zabbix integration allowed reflected acknowledgements in zabbix as acknowledgements in SIGNL4. I was also disappointed to need two different subscriptions to allow the different teams to use different license tiers.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT Alerts to mobile devices.

**Official Response from Matthes Derdack:**

> Thank you for your review and feedback. I believe our Zabbix integration is 2-way and Zabbix updates should be reflected in SIGNL4 as are SIGNL4 actions in Zabbix, yet I will check with the integration developers.

 ### 26. Excellent alert service for efficient team communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

SIGNL4 has really impressed us and has become indispensable for us. Particularly noteworthy is the reliable and fast alerting function, which ensures that critical information immediately reaches where it is needed. This gives us the confidence that we won't miss anything important and can react quickly. We use other monitoring solutions that are connected to SIGNL4 and are thus used centrally for our on-call duties. The integrations with Splunk, Checkmk, ServiceNOW, etc. work wonderfully.

The ability to have categories within a team makes it easier for us to sort our notifications and perhaps turn less important notifications on and off. The app itself is very clear and simply designed. You are not overwhelmed with 100 different buttons and menus, but it focuses more on the essentials: turning on duty and getting notified.

The user onboarding was very easy and quick. More of our colleagues had the problem of deciding which messages they want to have in SIGNL4 and which not. But that has nothing to do with the product.

We use the product daily and when we are on call, SIGNL4 is our faithful companion that alerts us directly in case of errors and outages.

Overall, we are very satisfied and in case of problems, you can always contact customer support.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

We have 2 different licenses and the problem is that you can't see the other teams between the licenses. However, this is not particularly bad. It's just a suggestion for improvement to have the possibility to somehow merge the licenses and make one out of them.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our challenge was to be reliably alerted outside of business hours, as SMS alone was not sufficient. With SIGNL4, we found the ideal solution. Thanks to the loud notifications and the ability to bypass the iPhone's silent mode and focus mode, we ensure that we no longer miss any critical information.

 ### 27. Good product with lots of features but not always the easiest to navigate around

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antony Z. | Infrastructure Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Integrates well with our environment. Easy log in process and accurate alerting, when set up correctly. Does have lots of features

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Although lots of features, the app as an example, is not the most intuitive. I use an iPhone and the actions that I use in other apps don't always have corresponding effects. When alerts come through it would be helpful if they could be summarised, sometimes you get far too much information and it is not as simple to pick out the bits that you need

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We support the company's infrastructure and it helps us receive urgent alerts quickly so that we are able to resolve them quickly and minimise impact on the user base

 ### 28. Reliable and Efficient Alerting Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corentin C. | Technicien informatique, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I really like how reliable and fast the alerts are. Getting notifications through push, SMS, and voice calls ensures nothing gets missed. The on-call scheduling is also super useful for managing team shifts. Plus, the setup is straightforward, and the integrations make it easy to connect with existing systems. We have implemented it for different types of alerts, such as fire and intrusion, and the tests have been very successful. We also use it to monitor our IT system, as it is fully integrated with our infrastructure, ensuring we never miss a critical issue.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

One thing that could be improved is the language options. Currently, it's mainly available in English and German, but adding more languages would be helpful for colleagues who aren’t fluent in either. It would make the platform more accessible and allow SIGNL4 to reach a wider audience.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SIGNL4 helps us ensure that critical alerts are received and acted upon immediately. Whether it's IT system failures, security incidents like fire or intrusion, or other operational issues, the platform guarantees that the right people are notified through multiple channels. This has significantly improved our response times and reduced the risk of missing important alerts. The on-call scheduling feature also helps distribute workload efficiently, making sure incidents are handled without overburdening specific team members.

 ### 29. Reliable and efficient monitoring application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I really like how reliable and fast the notifications are. The notifications via push, SMS, and voice call ensure that nothing is missed. The on-call scheduling is also very useful for managing team shifts. Additionally, the setup is easy, and the integrations make it easy to connect with existing systems. A simple, elegant solution that offers great functionality in a very intuitive way. Highly recommended.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

In comparison to other providers, it is indeed more expensive, but due to the many other offered features, it is very cost-effective. Currently, it is only available in English and German.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the help of SIGNL4, we can ensure that critical alarms are received and processed immediately. This has significantly improved our response times and reduced the risk of missing important messages. The on-call scheduling function also helps to distribute the workload efficiently and ensures that incidents are handled without overloading specific team members.

 ### 30. Efficient and Reliable Incident alert management with SIGNL4

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamer S. | Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

SIGNL4 excels in providing real-time notifications and incident management. The mobile app allows for easy access to alerts and real-time updates.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

One drawback of SIGNL4 is that it can sometimes be too quick to signal alerts. Removing the "old" alerts can be cumbersome as you have to swipe one at a time. However, I have found that logging out and back into SIGNL4 clears all the previous alerts that have been dealt with.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Signl4 ensures that all alerts are tracked and managed effectively, leading to more reliable incident resolution.

 ### 31. Reliable alerting and incident management solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markus H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Since we started using SIGNL4, we have been able to significantly improve our response times to disruptions and ensure that no critical alarms are missed. The solution is ideal for IT teams, industrial facilities, IoT projects, and anyone who relies on reliable alerting.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

It would be great if more information could be transmitted during the alert (e.g., also images or audio files) so that one can get an idea as quickly as possible.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The rapid transmission of alarms and a reliable and quick response are critical for our business processes.

 ### 32. SIGNL4 is an essential business support tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve N. | Founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Easy to use, set up and schedule support teams. Great support team planning and monitoring of customer issues/trouble tickets. Excellent integration with our business platforms.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Nothing much, I think as business expands then we need to discuss future needs with SIGNL4.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us trigger the right level of escalations to appropriate teams based on the incident type and severity levels so no incidents is overlooked.

 ### 33. SIGNL4 is the missing link for unified alerts and notifications!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd O. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

SIGNL4 has revolutionized our IT alerting process. It’s fast, reliable, and ensures critical incidents are addressed in real time. The ease of integration and outstanding support have made it an invaluable tool for our teams

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

RedIron hasn't had any downsides to date.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidates alerts and notifications from monitoring platforms, ticketing systems, and Cloud notifications.

 ### 34. SIGNL4 is a perfect addon when monitoring with Zabbix

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim A. | Team lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

A simple elegant solution, which provides a great functionality in a very intuitive manner. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

I have not yet identified any issues.
We use it for alerting when there a problem we need to react on asap, and sofar the SIGNL4 app has not let us down.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been relying on text messages, but with SIGNL4, we can customize the sounds an alert creates.
And since our duty is in periods, it is important that our consultants can go on duty / off duty easily, which is exactly what the app facilitates.

 ### 35. Signl4 enables quick and intuitive alerting of employees.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel W. | Director R&D Software Broadcast and Amplifier Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

- the super functioning app
- the simple connection to the system
- clear UI
- quick response from support

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

- no tenant capability => new accounts (email addresses) are needed for that

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Signl4 takes over the alerting of our employees in case of problems with our products at the customer's site.

 ### 36. I use SIGNL4 for notifications from Zabbix surveillance systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radim D. | IT administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

An absolutely amazing functionality is the bidirectional Zabbix <-> SIGNL4 connection, which allows you to resolve tickets created in Zabbix directly in SIGNL4. I like the variety of connectors and the good documentation.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

It bothers me that there is no option for SIGNL4 2-way 3rd party connectors in the cheaper plan. As a freelancer, I don't need the features for Duty & Shift Scheduling etc, but I do need the two-way communication feature with the monitoring system.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

2-way communication with the Zabbix monitoring system.

 ### 37. SIGNL4

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul A. | Database Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

We use Signl4 daily and it is very reliable and easy to use. The implementation was straightforward and any issues are promptly dealt with by the customer support team.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Shifts and Duties took a little while to setup.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alerting of problems to numerous teams over different shifts.

 ### 38. Reliable Alerting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Mobile app is easy to use, various monitoring systems are very easy to connect to the system. Alerts are always delivered with escalation when not acknowledged. Has allowed our staff to actually sleep at night without having to constantly check their phones/laptops to see if there is an alert they have missed!

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Would like to see more features around Remote actions like we had on EnterpriseAlert

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to connect various monitoring systems to SIGNL4 and manage the response within one system. Also love the new AI summary feature.

 ### 39. Reliable, Efficient, Easy to setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremie B. | Network and Cloud Systems Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2024

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Integration with various tools is impressive.
Ability to generate unique Email address hosted by Signl4 is awesome idea. No need to host IMAP server in house for this purpose.
Marketing communication during trial was excellent
I feel like Signl4 is motivated to improve its product.
Some staff members appears to be actively monitoring various forums (CheckMK, Reddit, etc) to assist users who have questions.
App is friendly to use, looks great, doesn't eat battery usage.
Implementation took just a couple hours. Glad was so easy as our previous solution stopped working suddenly.
Love the fact that the app confirms my colleague is on duty. So no need to nag her to confirm she turned it on.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Price is a bit high. Only feature we need is the persistent notifications. We go from 0$ a month to 18$ a month for 2 users for this feature alone. But we can't complain ; Free alternative solutions all disappeared

Integration with CheckMK is not yet perfect. When alert clears in checkMK, it fails to clear the Signl4 alert. Bug exists in the CheckMK add-in. Unique identifier for the Host or Service failure is not pushed properly to Signl4 API. We live with it for now, but monitoring users complains they have no way to know when issue is solved by looking Signl4 app only. I'm sure we could fix. I don' t have the time to investigate or escalate this issue.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Persistent notifications is really the key. A single beep was not enough to wake up the on-call person.
This requirement alone was much complex to solve without the presence of Signl4. No email client offers this feature natively.

 ### 40. SIGNL4 just plain works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoran S. | System Support Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

This system works as advertised and the perpetual notifications until acknowledgment really helps when things go bad in the middle of the night. Also love the fact you can setup a chain so that if the 1st responders do not reply in a set period of time, it will start alerting the next person on your list.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Honestly for what we use it for, after hours alerts, we have zero issues and there is nothing to dislike.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use this for our company's after hours hot line. Off hours we have a phone number our users can call to report emergencies. Since we are a global company, sometimes issues pop up in the middle of the night for us. This allows the users to have one central contact point and we on the IT side can decide who is on call in a rotation and how to escalate if need be.

 ### 41. Sophisticated, powerful and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean M. | Stortech IT Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Ease of use to add and and integrate to other systems.
Implementation was quick ands easy.
The amount of features.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

not disliking anything, amazng product.
well doneteam

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iliminating the human fail factor and service desk agent issues

 ### 42. Good App for Icinga Alerts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc H. | Systemadministrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

We use SIGNL4 for alerting from Icinga and are very happy with it. The alerting is done via an http webhook to a Signl4 address and is easy to set up. Shifts and escalation mechanisms can then be set within the app.

We used to only have alerting via phone/SMS, but SIGNL4 is much better in this respect.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

What I am missing is an alert via a different method than the Internet. As far as I know, the only way to do this is via webhook or email. However, an alert via a second medium, such as SMS, would still be important for us. But maybe that will come in the future.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a better way to alert people than just SMS/calls via an SMS gateway. SIGNL4 offers many more options and is much more user-friendly.

 ### 43. The service works perfectly. I have multiple monitoring processes - each one notifies immediately.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Easy to setup
Easy to call the APIs that trigger notification
Easy to close/address the alerts in the mobile app

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

None that I can think of - the system just works and I couldn’t ask for an easier user experience.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Signl4 alerts me the moment one of my various systems stops responding properly to an inquiry.

 ### 44. Best addition for infrastructure monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

Due to the high number of communication channels in the company, it is important to focus only on critical alerts. And that works perfectly with SIGNL4!

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Alarm flood protection is only included in the two larger license packages! This feature should be standard!

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Infrastructure disruptions are alerted via app, SMS, and call, and are thus prioritized, addressed, and resolved!

 ### 45. Its literally in the name, whatever Mobile Alert you need a "SIGNL4"... they can do it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I have been a SIGNL4 user (OPTIMIZE PLAN) for a few months now, and the number of features and flexibility this tool provides continues to deliver as my use cases have changed. They are a mobile-first alerting platform with (in my opinion) the best mobile app on the market.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

I am usually not a person who likes having their handheld for onboarding, and I am unsure if it was an option... but this tool is so flexible that I would liked to have had a private onboarding experience.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Helpdesk is only M-F from 8 am to 4 pm, so managing the "Who's On Call" piece outside those hours is critical to our success.

 ### 46. very good app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali H. | Network Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

the alarm goes off really quickly and easily

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

the tool works without problems therefore no disadvantages

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The readiness alarm is used as the alarm for the monitoring tool.

 ### 47. Notifications how YOU like them

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert K. | Systemadministrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

The flexibility to decide how I want to be notified for alarms

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Pretty expensive I would say, if you have some people rolling in duty.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before signl4, we had one mobile phone which was given from colleague to colleague each week to switch duty. Also our only path for receiving notifications was sms. Now with signl4, every colleague has the app on his own mobile phone. Time of carrying around to phones are over. Everboday can configure his own favorized way to be notified. Duty scheduling is now fully automated once set up. Also the passthrough for a virtual team phone number is a grace.

 ### 48. Good tool for alarm notifications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I like that notifications can be set up automatically via call and SMS.

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Currently, I see no option in the dashboard to set up MFA for logins.

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MFA at the dashboard login.

 ### 49. Nice alerting tool with many integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernhard F. | Solution Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2024

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

I love the verious options about integrating the solution and the ease of use for admins and endusers

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Settings of the phone app are sometimes not that easy and I cannot configure the override DND centrally

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using it to alert our incident response team in case of Major Incidents. Thats a benefit because we can distribute alerts fast and dynamically to different team members if the person on duty do not have time e.g.

 ### 50. Singal 4 changes our Remote support team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2024

**What do you like best about SIGNL4?**

The abilty to see who is on shift. To know that they are being alerted to customer needs. Its been nearly 3 years now and we have only missed one call. Not the fault of Signl4

**What do you dislike about SIGNL4?**

Hard to pick a downside. I suppose we could have more filters for what reaches the system from email

**What problems is SIGNL4 solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets staff know when a issue is waiting. We have a 24/7/365 remote support desk. It lets my team enjoy time off with knowing they will be alerted in mutple ways.
