I like that RudderStack is easy to set up and has a clean UI. It's also easy to integrate with other tools like Mixpanel and Braze, which is great for event piping. You are able to view the live event feeds and search events but you cannot search users. Product and marketing leveraged the plaform daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think RudderStack has limited views of data, reporting, or a user view. There are limitations to see specific user views, so it lacks the ability to go deep. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks for the thoughtful review, we really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback! Glad to hear the setup, UI, and integrations are working well for your team. Making event collection and routing simple, reliable, and real-time is core to what we focus on, so it’s great to see that delivering value across product and marketing.
On the reporting and user-level visibility point, you’re right to call this out. RudderStack isn’t designed to be a full analytics or BI layer, but rather the foundation that ensures high-quality, real-time data flows into tools like Mixpanel, Braze, or your warehouse where deeper analysis and user exploration happen. That said, we’ve been actively investing in improving visibility within RudderStack itself, especially around event inspection, debugging, and user context, so teams can move faster without needing to jump across tools as often. We appreciate the feedback here, it directly informs how we continue to evolve the product.
If you’re open to it, we’d love to learn more about your specific use case and where you’re running into limitations, please feel free to reach out and chat with our team!
