Even though there is a learning curve, once you get a hang of the tool and gain some experience it is incredibly powerful and easy to use. Over the years the product is getting increasingly more stable and also a bunch of features are being added continuously. The discovery connectors are very nice addition that solve a lot of difficult tasks with ease. Very exciting to see what the future holds for this product. **What do you dislike about IBM App Connect?** Still a learning Curve, which IBM tries to solve by adding the app connect designer tool for non technical users. I think the toolkit still can be improved a lot to help with the learning curve. **What problems is IBM App Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Given that I am a consultant it helped solve a lot of issues with different customers. ### 2. Each time we have to create package or bar file and need to deploy it into server then only we can test the new service or changes in the service. Even single line changes also needed this. Not good in testing part for developers **What problems is IBM App Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Provides various connection option to connect or making api calls. It's not the easiest to start with. By using App Connect, you can monitor all your resources in one place, integrate multiple apps, services, and databases, and automate your workflows. The UI and pre-built templates provide an excellent experience, helping you work faster and create easy flows by simply connecting credentials. **What do you dislike about IBM App Connect?** Need a high level of workflow configuration knowledge to manage your flows. They should also provide guided documentation for every configuration, like GCP does on the right-hand side, which would be helpful for beginners, provide a proper labs to get intract with new user. **What problems is IBM App Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Its solve a problem to automate your work flow by just drag and drop option but at configuration level you just need a high level of automation knowledge , In my case i used this plaform to only automate a mailChamp which help me to schedule and automate the process of mail. **Official Response from Varun Jain:** > Hi, Thanks for taking out the time to share your review of IBM App Connect. Easy to assimilate and get going from the off. **What do you dislike about IBM App Connect?** I found that you do need some degree of skills within the softwar space to fully utilise the integration solutions that are provided by the app / product. Obvioulsy this even more meaningful if you want to use the API flows. **What problems is IBM App Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to take out the complexity of some of our current setups and get the hardware, software and applications intergrated under one single place.
