"Seamless Integrations That Save Time"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

QBO is valuable because it integrates with a wide range of systems and apps, which helps reduce the processing time for various tasks. While it does require some effort and time to set up, connect, and map everything correctly, once everything is running smoothly, it truly saves a significant amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

There are a few system quirks that can be quite troublesome, and I found that Intuit support was not very effective in resolving them. We experienced problems with our payroll not posting correctly, and no one seemed able to identify the cause. It took several months of making manual corrections before the issue was finally resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great All-in-One Bookkeeping with Room for Better Support and Pricing"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

It allows you to do both bookkeeping including AP/AR and payroll all in one place but also integrates with other software and automates the process of bringing in and categorizing sales for e-commerce platforms. It is more or less easy to use once you have been using it for awhile and allows for custom reports as well as now providing some new AI features to help automate tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

The price is a little steep, and you are not locked in to a certain price that goes up from time to time. The customer service/support leaves a bit to be desired and a lot of times does not end up being able to solve your problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Invoicing and Reporting with a User-Friendly Interface"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

I really like how easy it is to use and how quickly you can navigate through invoices, expenses, and reports. The interface feels clean and intuitive, so even if you’re not an accountant, you can find what you need. I also appreciate that everything is stored in the cloud, which makes it simple to update records from any device and keep the whole team aligned. The automatic syncing with banks and apps saves a lot of time and reduces errors, and the reporting tools are very helpful for getting a clear overview of how the business is doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

My main frustration is that some features feel limited unless you upgrade to a higher plan, especially when it comes to advanced reporting or multi-step workflows. At times the system can run slow or glitchy, especially when switching between tabs or uploading documents. Customer support can also be inconsistent, sometimes fast and helpful, other times it can take a while to get a clear answer. Integrations are good, but occasionally they break or need to be reconnected. Overall it works well, but there is definitely room for smoother performance and more flexibility. "Efficient Financial Management, Faster and More Affordable"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

What I like best about QuickBooks Online is how easy it makes managing finances and bookkeeping. It automatically tracks income and expenses, connects to bank accounts, and organizes transactions in real time. The dashboard gives a clear view of cash flow, invoices, and reports, which helps with quick decision-making. I also like that it allows multiple users to access the same data securely, making collaboration between team members and accountants simple. Overall, QuickBooks Online saves time, reduces errors, and keeps financial management organized and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

What I dislike about QuickBooks Online is that some features can be slow or complicated to navigate, especially when dealing with detailed reports or large data files. The subscription cost can also add up over time, particularly for small businesses needing advanced tools. At times, updates or syncing with bank accounts may cause errors that require extra time to fix. Overall, while it is a powerful platform, it could be faster, more affordable, and a bit easier to customize for different business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Simple Core Features Make Workflow a Breeze"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

It is fairly simple and the core functionality is very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

It can be challenging to handle non-standard items, such as customer deposits or retainage fees, as the system does not always make it straightforward. However, there is usually a workaround for these limitations. Additionally, implementing governance features is not very intuitive, and we have yet to find any built-in approval workflows. "QuickBooks Online — A Balanced Tool, Not Perfect"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

QuickBooks Online makes handling accounts a lot easier and more organized. The new look with the updated icons feels way more interactive and easier to use than before. I like that it syncs bank transactions automatically, which saves me from doing it all by hand. Making invoices, tracking expenses, and checking reports is pretty quick and simple. Overall, it’s a easy to use and helpful tool for keeping all your business finances in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

QuickBooks Online isn’t perfect. It can be a bit slow with lots of transactions, and some features are only in the expensive plans. The new UI is nice but sometimes feels a bit crowded. Some of the additional features which are not useful makes it little slow. Still, it gets the job done and is pretty handy overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"QuickBooks makes it simple!"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

QuickBooks Online has been a game changer for managing my business finances. I love how easy it is to track income and expenses, send invoices, and see real-time cash flow all in one place. The automatic bank feed saves me hours of data entry, and the reporting tools make tax time much less stressful. Since it’s cloud-based, I can access my books anytime, anywhere, which gives me peace of mind and keeps me organized. It’s user-friendly, efficient, and truly helps me stay on top of my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

One downside of QuickBooks Online is the cost, since the monthly subscription and add-ons like payroll can add up quickly. It can also take some time to learn the more advanced features, and customer support isn’t always as fast or helpful as it should be. Occasionally, the bank feeds or connections can glitch, which can be frustrating when trying to stay on top of finances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Flexibility, Needs Affordable Pricing"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

I appreciate that QuickBooks Online allows me to access my account from anywhere, providing great flexibility in managing my business finances. This accessibility is incredibly valuable as it enables me to keep track of my ecommerce business's accounting needs from wherever I am, just by using my username and password. The convenience of being able to synchronize and update my accounting data effortlessly is a significant advantage, especially since it is an online tool. This feature really enhances my ability to maintain up-to-date financial records and stay organized, no matter my location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

I think the pricing could be a little bit more affordable compared to other companies that are coming out with new ways to do accounting. I feel like it needs a little bit more of a tutorial. I don't necessarily find it hard, but I didn't necessarily find it so easy and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbooks Online: A Complete Accounting Tool That’s Easy to Use"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

What I like best about QuickBooks Online is its user-friendly and well-organized interface. The way everything is structured makes registering transactions simple yet very effective. It also offers a wide range of additional features and detailed reports, which makes it possible to manage nearly all finance-related tasks in one place. From connecting bank accounts to seamlessly generating invoices and bills, QuickBooks Online provides a complete and efficient solution that helps streamline accounting and bookkeeping processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

While QuickBooks Online is very effective overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. At times, the system can feel a bit slow or laggy when loading certain reports or handling large amounts of data. Some of the more advanced features are also not as intuitive as the core functions, which means it can take extra time to learn or navigate them. Additionally, the subscription costs can add up, especially when needing access to multiple features or users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Bookkeeping and Seamless Collaboration with QuickBooks Online"
What do you like best about QuickBooks Online?

What I like best about QuickBooks Online is how it takes a bunch of annoying money stuff and makes it feel pretty painless: you hook up your bank and cards, transactions flow in automatically, you can set rules so most things categorize themselves, and then you’re basically just reviewing instead of doing tedious data entry. On top of that, invoicing and getting paid is smooth, the reports are actually useful for understanding how your business is doing (not just for taxes), and because it’s cloud-based your bookkeeper or CPA can jump in with you anytime without the whole “send me the latest file” headache. It’s not perfect—pricing can add up and inventory is just okay unless you bolt on extras—but for day-to-day small business bookkeeping, it’s one of the easiest tools to live in Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online?

price climbs faster than you expect once you add payroll, extra users, or higher tiers, and some features feel gated just to nudge you upward Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
