Great for collaborating across departments via approval process and archiving bills digitally.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I wish that there was an easier way to find Inbox history. Any email notes accompanying an invoice get lost once the bill is entered. Also, if the Inbox didn't automatically make every email and every signature image into a separate "bill" to be entered, that'd be great. Also our sync to QuickBooks rarely works or is delayed.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of digital invoices in one place is extremely helpful. It saves time in hunting down PDFs in email.

Paperless, fast, easy to change GL and class assignments

It doesn’t notice a duplicate vendor.  
It’s hard for me to see multiple page bills.   That user interface isn’t intuitive for me.  

I’d like to be able to void a payment closer to the payment date.  

I’d like to be able to more easily send a replacement check for an expired payment

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to print bills, hand sign them for approvals, print checks, sign checks, then stuff and mail them. Plus file paper invoices.    That whole process now takes only a few minutes.

I like BILL AP/AR for its ease of processing and fast processing. Approvals are streamlined, which helps a lot in our workflow. I also appreciate that proper backup is maintained in one place and it's easy to attach. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I'm not thrilled about the processing time to payment. It would be great to be able to pay immediately.

I use BILL AP/AR for all vendor payments. It solves paying bills in foreign currencies, simplifies invoice processing with backup and approvals, and maintains proper backup in one place.

The platform is easy to implement and makes it effortless to enter invoices, track payments, and sync seamlessly with our accounting software. Its intuitive design significantly reduces human data entry errors, improving overall accuracy and efficiency.  We're especially impressed by the quick turnaround on refunds for voided or expired items and the flexibility of payment options to our vendors. When we've needed assitance, the knowledgeable and responsive support team has gone above and beyond to resolve payment and sync issues quickly.  It's a smart, reliable solution that's made a real impact on our financial operations.

It would be nice to see the vendor credit side get a face lift to better align with the experiece you get with the bill side.

If for some reason the bill didn't send it stays as a unpaid/delayed. Or if a contractor doesn't get set up correctly they don't get paid until a time frame changes.

I like the interface. It's very easy to navigate, and it integrates perfectly most of the time with QuickBooks Online. I prefer to use BILL AP/AR for managing my accounts payable, and everything syncs perfectly with QuickBooks Online, so I don't have to think about making sure that all the data is exchanged.

There have been some sync issues in the past, and those can be challenging to resolve.

Easy to use the platform, intuitive and user friendly. Customer support has fallen in quality a bit in comparison to when I first used this platform early on, but overall - it still works.

Very limited in abilities, especially with reporting and audit support. As our business has continued to scale, we've realized that we have outgrown the platform -- a lot of features are lacking to support upward scaling.

When I start using bill.com for my business to manage bills, My vendors can send their bills directly into the platform, and from there I can easily push them into QuickBooks Online without any hassle.

There’s nothing to dislike. I suggest it to my clients to use it to manage their bills.

I really like the ability to quickly see what bills are owed and to whom with a glance.  My work requires that I bill by the job, and BILL makes it easy to see where each job is in terms of profit and expense.  The ability to process invoices quickly and easily with a button push is also an advantage.  I further like the ability to schedule payments on my terms.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

I have see nothing that I don't like, although if pressed, I would say that the process of automatically reading invoices lags a bit, as frequently the AI is picking up the wrong information of the invoice.  But since invoices are not standardized, this is understandable.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that BILL solved for me was the ability to quickly and easily set up payments in advance, and integrate into my accounting software.

Customer service: It can be difficult to reach a real person by phone, as opposed to being routed to an AI chat box.

Bill AP/AR has improved our AP workflow so much that we were able to reassign a staff member to a different department without needing to backfill the role.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

The downside of using Bill AP/AR is that Bill isn’t currently set up on the European bank rails. We have locations in other countries, and we can’t make payments using SEPA or BACS.

Bill AP/AR solves the hassle of scanning and/or printing vendor invoice copies. It handles scanning directly from email, which makes the process much easier.

**What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?**

Ease of use in sending payments and uploading supporting documents; easy to implement; integration with other accounting platforms, such as QBO, excellent customer support.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

The inability to see any information regarding a connected vendor's bank account information (a connected vendor is one that also has an account with BILL that they use to receive payments and is in the BILL network). If and when a vendor changes bank accounts, I would like to be able confirm where the funds are going. Just being able to see the last four digits of the vendor's bank account would be most helpful.

The best part about Bill.com is it's ability to sync and integrate multiple areas of our accounting environment. From reimbursements, to credit card transactions, travel expenses, reoccurring invoices, you name it! The AI feature is also a great addition! It saves us a considerable amount of time coding the hundreds of invoices we receive each week.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

It would be great if Bill had an upload feature for coding invoices and transactions. Now that we have 30+ locations, some invoices can be a pain having to manually code in Bill.com.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BILL AP/AR is filling a much needed hole in regards to processing hundreds of invoices every week. Not only does it sync with our other accounting softwares, it also allows us to process payments directly and efficiently. We can easily manage the budgets for our various departments and users.

- It is too easy to commit fraud by creating an account with the same name as a vendor. I have learned that I need to confirm a vendor is on Bill.com before sending money. As a result, I typically pay as an ACH rather than epayment.
- I have heard from vendors that they have been asked for private information to create an account like a passport, a bank statement etc. This does not reflect well on our organization 
- Check delivery seems sporadic

BILL is helping us to solve a staffing capacity issue.

The reason for asking your vendors for the information that we do is to prevent fraud from happening. Every account that is created in BILL has to provide documents to verify their account before they use the system.  To prevent adding the wrong vendor, once they create an account, they can provide you with their Payment Network ID (PNI) so that you can connect directly with them. We value all feedback, as it fuels our continuous journey to elevate our customers' experience with our software.

Having my bills automatically filled in and sync'd to QBO on a daily basis saves me so much time getting my payables up to date. The software also speeds up getting those bills paid via ACH. I really like that they pay international vendors quickly as well. It saves a lot of time and money getting them paid fast.

My only issue is the learning curve in how to use the software. But when I do have issues their customer support has been great. Every time I have a question or issue I get the help I need.

A major benefit for me is entering invoices directly from emails and them paying easily. This saves so much time keeping the back up information in one place.

Prior to Bill.com, we were chasing approval by email and tracking things in spreadsheets.  Bill.com has allowed us to manage those approvals more effectively.  All information is readily available for audit.  We have also consolidated several services to the Bill.com platform, consolidating the number of entry points for users and number of systems to maintain.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

Some aspects of Bill.com's reporting could use some maturity.  It is often difficult to pull needed data out in reports across the various platforms.  There is limited ability for customization.  Vendors have complaned about misleading messaging regarding account set up and time it takes to receive payments.

**What problems is BILL AP/AR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The approval process has provided the most benefit to us.  It is also nice to have all invoices and payment information in a single platform.

Best part of Bill AP/AR is the paying of bills and it syncing with some of the QB Online and QB Enterprise software systems.

**What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?**

Downsides of using Bill AR is that they now don't let users delete or make edit changes to some of the invoices.  They say this is for security reasons but then this means you have an archived invoice version there and have to create a new invoice.  Another problem with Bill.com is the auto input of when it scans the pdf and populates the field is not that accurate.

It handles the AP process much ore smoothly with Bill.com actually sending out the payments and keeping all the invoice detailed transactions in one place with also access to the invoice images.
