What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

The tool is a great way to view all invoices and send payments when desired. The ease of paying bills is the best feature of the device. I also appreciate that if their is a delay in payment, the system sends out alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

You have to have a license to use bill.com, where all our bills are stored. Therefore, you must go into Bill.com to review during an audit. The same issue arises at month's end; you have to look in two different systems to review the final numbers and confirm everything was entered correctly.

We also get payments from customers using Bill. It is not user friendly to collect or connect. Every time I go to connect it logs me into the AP system and I am unable to connect. I have reached out to the customer team with no help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like that BILL AP/AR is fairly easy to use and also very easy to train my staff on it. I appreciate the feature where it consolidates all my invoices in one place and allows me to sort by vendor and search for invoices within each vendor. I like having the option to see which payments are scheduled to go out, have already been paid, or are even canceled. It also has a summary dashboard on the very front, which I find useful. The recognition feature when uploading invoices is helpful because it picks out all the invoice and payment dates, which helps alleviate repeating or entering the same information and is a big time saver. This also reduces manual errors as I just need to check what's on the invoice against what's already been picked up, then click save invoice. I also found the initial setup very easy, just setting it up and adding users with their respective settings was straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I think it's just the reporting aspect. Sometimes I need some ad hoc report. For example, I want to pull a vendor showing a history of all the invoices along with if I wanna put in fields of invoice day, due date, when accounts were set to, and going as far back as possible, like, a history. Right now, there isn't a fast and easy way that BILL AP/AR has that. It does have the capability to, like, run a specialized report. Which can get frustrating sometimes. If our vendors come out and said, 'hey, I need to do AR installation,' especially when I have a particular vendor with hundreds of invoices monthly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

BILL does a great job centralizing and streamlining our AP and AR processes in one platform. It significantly reduces manual work by automating invoice capture, approval workflows, and payment processing. The visibility into payment status and cash flow is especially helpful, and the integration with our accounting system keeps everything aligned and efficient. While no software is perfect, BILL has meaningfully improved our operational efficiency and provided a reliable structure for managing payables and receivables at scale. "User-Friendly AP/AR and Card Tools That Streamline Invoices, Receipts, and 1099s"
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I appreciate how user friendly the Bill.com AP/AR platforms are. The credit card functions are tremendously helpful to keep our small team organized and allows staff to easily upload receipts and reconcile expenses at the end of the month. The credit card functions also have great security measures and warn you when your card is low on funds, all of which I really appreciate as an administrator for our organization. The AP side makes tracking, approving, and paying invoices much more streamlined and efficient. Bill.com has also been great about helping to streamline the 1099 filing process each year, taking a huge burden off our small team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

The AI automations can often get things wrong so we try to avoid using them whenever possible. We wish the fee for voiding a check wasn't so high ($25 per check) and we've also had a few issues with check payments not being received by our vendors which can be frustrating. What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I really like the integration with NetSuite because it saves us a lot of time in tracking our expenses and renewals. It's my favorite part. The setup was very easy. You just need to create your account and open a ticket with your needs. They assign a customer success person to you, and you schedule a call. They provide everything, even the integration with your ERP like NetSuite or Big Box, right away. They continue to support you for a few weeks to ensure everything runs as expected. What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

Since we have subsidiaries in other countries, right now, we are only able to pay through our US entity. Even though we have bills from Canada, UK, and Mexico, we have to centralize them all in the US. We would rather have a subsidiary for each country and make local payments instead of international. Notes & Notifications: Expand the notes section and improve notifications for better visibility and usability.

Error Handling: Provide more detailed explanations for sync errors beyond the current generic messages.

Invoice Controls: Enable the ability to set period restrictions for invoice entry to prevent posting in closed periods or payment dates errors.

GL Coding: Allow use of keyboard shortcuts or quick keys for GL account selection instead of manual dropdown navigation.

Inbox Processing: When forwarding an email with multiple invoices, the email currently becomes the backup, creating extra manual work. Suggest enabling the option to copy the email backup directly in the inbox rather than uploading it each time.

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like how easy it is to post invoices in different manners. It integrates smoothly with Sage Intacct, making my accounting job easier since everything posts automatically into Sage Intacct and the general ledger always ties to what it should. It's also easy to void payments. I really appreciate the super easy setup, especially with implementation support. Overall, I find processing vendor invoices much easier with BILL AP/AR.
