I've just started using Veryfi. It's easy to use and the integration process is incredibly simple. It supports a wide range of documents, and I can even add and edit my own custom documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I didn't see any bad impression but they can improve multi-language support in the admin panel for those who live in a different country like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Verify simply works. And works well.

First off, we use it for small business and personal receipt scanning and expense tracking.

It scans receipts quickly and accurately. It let's you easily customize categories and classify expenses.

It also handle EFT's, Checks, debit and credit cards.

One of the most important features is time-to-scan. That is, the amount of time from when I'm handed a receipt in a store to when I'm done scanning and categorizing it and put my phone in my pocket. This is one of the most important aspects of any receipt scanning app (yet most fail badly here). For Verify, time-to-scan is usually under 30 seconds. (Other apps take minutes sometimes).

Probably the best part is that Veryfi has a very capable web-based interface. The app is great for scanning receipts and categorizing a transaction. But for a business owner, spending time poking around on a phone app to manage hundreds of transactions (as other aps require) is ridiculous. This is whre Veryfi really shines. You can bulk categorize items, match them with bank transactions (it connects to your bank) and export CSV's from the web platform.

You can also set up rules to automaticially classify transactions based on data read from the receipt.

Veryfy is a powerful app for someone serious about tracking business or personal expenses in an efficient way. It's not a cute toy app with silly icons (thankfully). It's a serious productivity tool with lots of capability.

If you've been through other apps (I went through 4 of them before ending up with Veryfi), then you'll appreciate this apps capabilities. It is FAR beyond any other receipt scanner or expense management app.

If you have real expenses to manage (for personal or business) Verify is the way to go.

Very few complaints. Overall, a great app as is.

A couple of features that would be nice:

1. Being able to see what account number a newly scanned receipt was associated with without needing to open the item. This feature would cut time-to-scan from 30 secs. to 15-20 secs.

2. Quicker way to switch between two "users" in order to separate personal and business expenses more easily.

But these are minor.. Basically, if you need a receipt scanner and expense tracker, this is the way to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The application and website are not well maintained. There are weird issues that I feel if I contact support, I'll just get no where. Sadly, support is not as good as it used to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The OCR technology is impressive, it accurately and quickly extracts data from my receipts and invoices, saving me a significant amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a very comprehensive API. You get most of the data points that you need in a structured format. Retailer extracting is pretty good too. We have used many other vendors too Like AWS and Google Vision but Veryfi stands out because of the number of data points they give from unstructured documents. Many of the other services fail when they try to pick a new retailer. Product identification is good too service can give you a product name based on SKU which is very helpful for retailers like Walmart or Target. Last but not least you can use their GUI to see all these changes which is very good if you want to just review one receipt. Otherwise, you will have to extract data from the database and then see it in some tool. It's a very comprehensive product that has considered many things while building this service. Duplicate receipt verification, deletion of dup receipts, and adding missing vendor name so that in future receipts it will be picked correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes Veryfi services go down, this is a very critical bottleneck if you need a response in real-time. AWS and GV stand out because of the reliability they offer. You just can not have any downtown at all. Sometimes their product extraction fails too it does not give the correct result each time. Cost-wise too it's a bit expensive, yes it does give a lot of data but compared to other services it's expensive so people who are looking for a cost-effective solution might not use this product because of budget constraints. We needed an OCR solution that is powerful enough to process thousands of vendor invoice formats. VeryFi’s OCR Invoice API has met our needs and their customer service is first class! Implementing the API was straightforward, and it catapulted our development efforts forward by years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use the OCR service to process bills. Integrating it with Netsuite was a breeze. Every time we ask for help, they respond quickly and even develop new stuff if needed. Teaching the system is also easy and we see the results in bills we OCR after. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If it was faster we could read more stuff from the files, but Netsuite limits the time it waits for a response in any request to 45 seconds. Because of this, we use the lightest settings when we request an OCR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're using their API to quickly scan incoming files and extract invoice details from them.

The results are very accurate, and it's fast.

While Veryfi works very well, in some cases we have user feedback about the accuracy of the results. It's a shame we can't have a feedback loop to report the actual data and improve Veryfi's performance for our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
