What do you like best about Homebase?

I like that its basic features are free which are enough for small business owners with limited employees and does not need to full features. Its free version has many features available to use and is very reasonable. Its paid versions are great for business as my business will grow. I have been using it since 2018 and have recommended it to many business owners that need time clock in, and scheduling. The team can view their own schedule make request for time off and more. What do you dislike about Homebase?

the price for the full or advance features. Like payroll, having the base fee, then for each employee, and or subcontractor or independent contractor those cost can make using the program expensive, especially if certain contractors are only used for 1 to 3 projects. or for limited time periods Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Homebase Packs Powerful Scheduling, Onboarding, Timesheets & Reporting"
What do you like best about Homebase?

There are so many features to Homebase. Scheduling, onboarding, timesheets and reporting. All very helpful in the operations and labor reporting of a business. Was easy to set up, and is easy to use but thorough. Pricing for it is also very competitive to other systems. We use it on a daily basis and it works for exactly what we need without major headaches. Also easy for the employees on their end of it as well. What do you dislike about Homebase?

Features will change randomly, therefore it sometimes takes a bit to reacclimate to the functions. Also, a minor issue but when going into the schedule tab, most times, it does not default to the week we are currently in. Usually defaults to a past week (sometimes from a month before), which has thrown off managers looking at the schedule in a quick snapshot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Homebase?

It’s very user-friendly and provides plenty of options that I can use for my business, which makes it easy to tailor to what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Homebase?

Certain things I would like to use I would have to upgrade my plan to cost me much more a month, but I wouldn’t get as much keys out of it to make it worth it. Simple things like being able to put blackout dates for employees so they can’t request days off for certain holidays or whatever. I think those should be part of any basic plan. What do you like best about Homebase?

I find Homebase very simple to use, and it's easy to set up new users. I like that all the features in the free package are included, which means I can use it comfortably. It doesn't take me very long to do what I need to do, which is always useful. Also, I can ensure that new employees get their notifications from Homebase quickly and easily. What do you dislike about Homebase?

"Effortless Clock-In with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Homebase?

I love the fact that I can send a message to my coworker if it's their birthday, telling them happy birthday. It's really convenient to be able to digitally send them an emoji and a few words. Also, I like that I can easily look up the days I have scheduled off and make adjustments if needed, like canceling a day off. If I forget to clock in, I can go back into Homebase and do it, or my supervisor can clock me in. The setup process for Homebase was easy, especially if you're computer savvy. What do you like best about Homebase?

I love how Homebase has been a game-changer for our team, as we use it daily to manage staff schedules and reporting seamlessly. The platform is user-friendly, making it easy for both managers and employees to adopt with minimal training. One of my favorite features is the Manager log, which is great for noting additional items like call outs, leaving early, paid time off, and unpaid time off, all in a list format. The note section on the employee's schedule is handy for daily reminders, especially if someone is covering another role or leaving early. What do you dislike about Homebase?

We recently discovered that if the employee had already time off approved in Gusto payroll, and you list that day as paid time off on Homebase, when the report gets transmitted, it double processes the paid time off, and the employee gets paid twice. I dislike that you can’t turn off the “clock in” prompts, especially for someone who works multiple shifts. We use the shifts to help keep everyone organized so they do where to go, but we don't need them to clock out and back in. I really like that Homebase is very user-friendly for both myself and my employees, making shift covers, swaps, and time off requests seamless. It makes it easy to handle unexpected call outs, even on the weekends. I also love how Homebase makes keeping an eye on employees' scheduled hours per week a breeze, helping to avoid payroll compliance issues and ensuring a fair distribution of available hours to those who want them the most. It would be helpful if, when a new time off request came in, it included the names and dates of other employees' time off that would overlap it, at a glance. I use Homebase for scheduling and payroll for my company. I like the functionality and the vertical menu, which is a huge plus because it keeps the entire workflow visible at a glance.
