**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

It is not always clear which fields correspond to which on NetSuite therefore some fields do not pull through correctly. There is no separate Credit Notes tab on the customer portal. If there is more than one assigned user you cannot specify which assigned user should be the one sending the reminders.

**What problems is Upflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upflow is helping to improve our receivables and cash collection process with the use of the automated reminders we have set.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

I appreciate how easy it is to generate reports, whether I need a summary that covers all customers or a detailed report for a specific individual. I also find it helpful to quickly look up payments and see exactly which invoices have been paid. Additionally, being able to identify invoices that have had credit memos applied is very useful. From a reconciliation perspective, this functionality significantly reduces the time and effort required.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

I would prefer if reports could be downloaded in a consistent format. Additionally, the system does not permit making changes to custom fields within reports.

**What problems is Upflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automatic reminder notifications, including both early and past due reminders, make it much easier for me to reach all my customers. I appreciate that I no longer need to manually create emails or attach invoices myself.

What I appreciate most about Upflow is the simplicity with which the tool centralizes payment tracking and automates follow-ups. **What do you like best about Upflow?**

Upflow gives me a clear, real-time picture of our AR and makes it easy to stay on top of past-due customers. I love the automated reminder workflows, the clean invoice timelines, and how simple it is to see who needs attention first. It saves me hours each week compared to manual follow-ups and spreadsheets, and it keeps our communication consistent, professional, and well-documented for internal reporting.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

The main downside is that some reporting and filtering can feel a bit rigid when I want to slice data in very specific ways. There are moments where I’d like more flexibility in customizing views or building my own AR dashboards. That said, these are refinements—I still find the platform very valuable overall and rely on it daily.

Upflow is helping us solve the classic AR challenges of visibility, prioritization, and consistent follow-up. Before Upflow, I relied heavily on manual trackers and ad-hoc emails; now my outreach is automated, centralized, and fully documented. **What do you like best about Upflow?**

Upflow has provided us with an ever increasing dynamic way to automate our dunning process. 
With the Smart Rules and Workflows we can handled customers in mass or tailor our processing to size and scale of our market.
It's user-friendly customer timeline enables the visibility on the customer interactions and the AI summary of these events is a game-changer.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

We are still seeing more opportunities to enhance the use of Upflow, with integrations with other systems and increased reporting capabilities.

**What problems is Upflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently use separated billing and accounting systems, neither of which gives us Receivables management functionality. Upflow steps into that space providing us with a streamlined user experience, visibility on the interactions around a customers account and invoices. 
The Workflow and Smart Rules are help to reduce the time spent in manual processes also, giving us the flexibility to spend more time where it's needed, resolving the real issues, not just handling volumes.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

I appreciate Upflow's fantastic onboarding process and training, which made me feel very comfortable launching after preparing. Their payment portal is a great feature, offering a solution we didn't have before. The automated reminders are incredibly useful, making Upflow a major convenience in comparison to what we used previously.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

I think the actual deliverable, the email, seems like a tad bit scammy. Because it provides a link and there's payment information. We did put our custom signature in there, but I wish it was a little bit more professional looking. Like, the one we sent an invoice from QuickBooks, it would be, you know, kind of in a box and very, like, designed properly. And it was, like, very obviously a payment email where this is more just, you know, drafted email from somebody with a hyperlink. I think sometimes that could lend to maybe somebody thinking it's spam.

I use Upflow for automated invoice reminders and a payment portal, which streamlines billing and improves customer access to outstanding invoices.

I use Upflow to automate my collection process, which improves the reliability of the process and reduces payment times. I also appreciate the clear dashboard for cash flow tracking. The integration with Sellsy is a big plus, as it allows me to save time by directly integrating each new invoice into Upflow.

When there is a credit, do not set the status to paid but rather to canceled because it distorts understanding.

I like how customers can access the portal and mark any disputes or set a 'promise to pay'. We can also set up customers with different workflows depending on their payment history so we do not use a one size fits all approach. I also like how we can customize reporting depending on our needs which saves time within our team.

It would be good to understand how their reporting metrics are calculated, also to set up a report that can be used by other users.

What I appreciate most about Upflow is the exceptional quality of the interface. Everything is clear, organized, and designed to save time. Setting up reminders is extremely simple, whether it involves automations, templates, or customized scenarios. The tool is intuitive, even for someone who is not an expert in collections, which makes it easy to deploy among several team members. The visualization of outstanding amounts, delays, payments, and customer behaviors is also very powerful: you can access priority files and urgent actions at a glance. Integration is quick, and daily monitoring is smooth and pleasant.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

There is no major drawback, but if an area for improvement had to be suggested, it would be the addition of some advanced reporting options, particularly to further customize tables or combine multiple complex filters. Some integrations could also go a bit further to avoid having to make manual adjustments in certain specific cases. However, nothing is blocking: these are possible optimizations for demanding teams.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

As someone working in credit control, maintaining consistent communication with customers is essential. Upflow streamlines this process by allowing us to create and customise workflows that guide our customers through each step. Within these workflows, dunning emails are automatically sent at scheduled times we set, ensuring all customers receive timely reminders and supporting improved cash collection. There is also the flexibility to choose whether certain emails are sent manually, which is particularly useful as situations escalate and a more personal approach is needed.

Upflow further enhances our operations by enabling the creation of smart rules, allowing us to group customers into different categories based on our chosen criteria. This feature helps us stay aligned with our internal procedures.

Additionally, the customer support team has been extremely helpful. Whenever we submit a query, we typically receive a response with solutions within the same working day.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

I honestly can't find any drawbacks to Upflow. The platform offers just the right amount of customization, allowing us to tailor the tools to fit exactly how we want to use them.

The fact of knowing if the client has acknowledged the reminders sent and their direct connection with our accounting. The speed of resolution to the various problems that we may encounter.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

the inability to select multiple invoices at the same time and the fact that credit notes are not directly on the homepage following the invoices. Unfortunately, this skews the amount of reminders. not being able to modify customer addresses directly on Upflow in order to send the notices of default.

I waste less time on certain follow-ups thanks to instant updates.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

Upflow just works. The platform is clean, easy to use, and integrates well with NetSuite. It’s helped us bring visibility, accountability, and structure to AR collections without heavy lifting. But the best part? The team. Every person I’ve worked with—from sales to onboarding to support—has been responsive, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. No overselling, no fluff.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

We haven't had any major issues, and the few hiccups (mainly on the NetSuite side) were resolved quickly by support.

**What problems is Upflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upflow helps us streamline AR workflows, stay on top of outreach, and reduce the manual burden of collections. It’s made it easier to report AR performance internally and to our sponsors. **What do you like best about Upflow?**

Upflow has made sending client emails incredibly seamless. Once the workflows are properly set up, sending AR communications is as simple as clicking ‘send.’ Before Upflow, it could take me a day or two to complete this process. Now, I’m able to significantly reduce the time spent on sending emails, which has freed me up to take on additional responsibilities and continue growing in my role. Several features allow you to customize each workflow or smart rule to ensure client emails are specifically tailored to that customer, versus a general "robotic" email.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

One downside of Upflow is the inability to remove unnecessary or inactive clients from the platform, which can create clutter and confusion. Additionally, not allowing customers to make partial payments limits flexibility and can complicate the payment process for some clients.

**What problems is Upflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Upflow, it would often take me a day or two to send emails to our customers. Since go-live, that time has been significantly reduced, allowing me to take on additional responsibilities and further develop in my role.

Upflow has dramatically changed the way we do our AR process. Originally everything was done manually with Google spreadsheets and sending out emails from one accounting email. Now we're able to have a team of people all working on the same accounts, organize, documented and all  correspondence clearly available. Upflow has made it so that we went from 35k a year to over $700,000 in revenue the next. Its all thanks to its automation and ability to link my team members into conversations with clients so that everybody was on the same page

I dislike not having the ability to send emails not park of the workflow and have them show up in the timeline.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

I like the fact Upflow Support listens to their customers. We've been here since the beginning, and we have seen the product evolve with us. Every single blocking point has been handled carefully by Upflow, and we're near a finished flowless product now.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

Maybe because we arrived early in the game, but we had to face several issues, but they all have been addressed. I would like a change in the pricing plan to only consider invoices (open and waiting for payment) handled by the system and not all invoices. As a recurring SAAS, many of our invoices come from subscriptions, and there is no need to take them in Upflow.

**What problems is Upflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upflow handles the communication between our customers with a failed payment and our agents. It allows us to have a strict planning and task list. It lets us follow our agent productivity.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

What we like best about Upflow is its incredible effectiveness in automating and accelerating our cash collection process. It has truly transformed this critical area for our business, significantly improving our cash flow. Beyond its powerful core function, we greatly appreciate its seamless integration capabilities with our existing tools like Sellsy, Netsuite, and Salesforce, which makes it a central part of our financial operations. Finally, the platform's ease of use and straightforward implementation meant we could get up and running quickly and start seeing benefits almost immediately. We've been consistently very happy with the results.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

While our overall experience with Upflow has been overwhelmingly positive, one area where we see room for improvement is its handling of multiple installments on an invoice. Also, we would like to be able to connect it to SSO when it will be compatible to SCIM to create users automatically.

**What problems is Upflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upflow is directly solving several critical problems for our business. Primarily, it has eliminated the time-consuming and often inconsistent manual process of chasing outstanding payments. Before Upflow, our team spent considerable effort on manual reminders and follow-ups, which was inefficient and prone to human error, often leading to delayed payments and strained customer relationships.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

My favorite thing about Upflow is that I don't have to go into Stripe, NetSuite, or any of our billing platforms. Upflow consolidates everything into one place that I can easily access. The UI is so simple, organized, and very easy to use. It makes the collections process easier by pulling in customer emails and invoice reminders so everything I need is in Upflow. I'm excited to see how the company continues to enhance their product.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

Minor suggestions would be to have payment terms and billing frequency pulled into Upflow so it's easy to see. Other than small layout suggestions, my Upflow experience has been great.

Saving time mostly. The interface is great and helps me streamline by day-to-day so I'm not scrolling through multiple systems to find what I need.

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

We've been using Upflow for our collections process and couldn’t be happier with the results. It has significantly streamlined our workflows, making it much easier and faster to collect payments from our customers. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly, both for our team and for our clients.

One of the biggest improvements we’ve seen is the time saved—because Upflow automates much of the manual follow-up and provides real-time visibility into outstanding invoices, our finance team can now focus on more strategic tasks instead of chasing down payments.

Another huge plus is the client portal, which allows our customers to view their invoices and make payments directly, improving the overall experience and speeding up the process. On top of that, the automatic reconciliation with NetSuite is seamless, reducing errors and improving our month-end close efficiency.

The implementation was smooth, the support team is responsive and helpful, and the impact on our cash flow has been very positive. I highly recommend Upflow to any finance team looking to modernize and optimize their accounts receivable process.

**What do you dislike about Upflow?**

One limitation we've encountered is the lack of automatic debit options for clients outside the U.S. This would be a valuable addition for global companies like ours and could further improve payment reliability and reduce friction.

Before Upflow, our finance team spent a significant amount of time tracking overdue invoices and following up with customers manually. Upflow automated this process, enabling consistent and timely communication with clients. We’ve seen faster collection cycles and reduced DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

We used to rely on spreadsheets and fragmented systems to track collections. Upflow centralizes all our AR data, providing clear dashboards and aging reports. We now have real-time insights, which helps us prioritize and act faster.

By automating repetitive tasks, our finance team has more time to focus on strategic initiatives and analysis rather than collections admin. Better use of resources and higher-impact work.

If you’re looking for a way to simplify collections while improving cash flow, Upflow is a solid choice. I’ve worked with other tools before, but Upflow really helps us stay on top of everything related to collections.

The platform is easy to use, and most of the time it just runs in the background—our team only gets involved when we need to. One of the things that really stands out is the ability to customize workflows to different segments of clients, so we can customize outreach based on payment behavior.

Another massive advantage is that Upflow is also constantly improving. Their team is always pushing updates and new features, and it really does make a difference in terms of having streamlined processes. Upflow really does make it easy to utilize this tool on a daily basis every day.

And I have to give a shout-out to their support team—they made implementation and integration actually smooth and are always super quick to help whenever we have questions.

We love how upflow has improved our data surrounding cash collections and billing. It is customizable and they are always taking feature requests to improve. They have greatly lowered our DSO and improved the ease and speed of collecting payments from our customers!

**What do you like best about Upflow?**

I like the simplicity of the platform as it is really easy to use. We had no issues connecting it to either Netsuite nor Xero and the development of the tool with its customisability has been really great to see over time.

It is something that is embedded into our credit control process also which has improved our aging greatly.

As well as this, not only is the tool great but the customer service has never failed to be short of great with meetings always being efficient and our customer service managers always being super helpful and friendly, even when sometimes we are not as responsive due to busy periods.

There is nothing I would say i dislike as features are consistently being rolled out or thought about, I would just love a new statement process separate from invoice chasing, like a different workflow.

We have been using Upflow for more than 9 months now, and it has really helped to improve cash collection efficiency and team quality of work.
First, it was really easy to set-up: Chargebee integration is live in 2 minutes and we have been able to set up customized plans very easily. Then the automation of messages and the list of actions to perform helped us to be more efficient and free some time to develop relationships with our customers. Finally, the collaboration with sales and CSM team is great in the tool, everybody appreciate to have all the emails and information regarding a customer gathered in the same place.

Nothing really, Upflow team helped us to solve any minor issue we experienced at the beginning

Upflow has really enabled us to better manage our credit control process, and have confidence that we are reaching out to clients at all the right times using their workflows for automated emails and tasks. I didn't believe it would make such a difference how quickly we could get paid, but the results have been incredible, and every month continues to improve even 6 months on!

There are some simple functionalities, like being able to see other teams tasks, and more easily being able to send ad-hoc emails all within upflow, however I do think that they work on the product quite frequently, so nothing super business stopping or that would stop us from using Upflow.

Manging the credit control process, and ensuring that we get paid on time! It's ticked all of the boxes. We previously used other systems, but they had a negilible impact. Upflow has reduced our days to get paid significantly and therefore improved our overall cash position.

I really love the automation that it brought to my AR department. As well as the transparity within the team. Now everyone on the team can be on the same page for each client and not have to worry about communicating within house for every little update.

I wish there was a way to send emails out of the workflow. sometimes I want to followup with a client or say thank you for a payment and have that documented in the timeline. 

Also I would like a way to save email templates. Since most of my messages are the same for cleint it would make things easier if I could dropdown a response instead of retyping it.

There’s very little to dislike about Upflow, but if I had to mention one thing, it would be the need for diverse currency amounts to be in line with what has been billed in Pennylane. The currently, the outstanding amount for invoices generated in $ are different from the "total amount" (what has been really billed). Thus, for USD customers, some minor changes in the workflows and templates need to be done. Other than that, the tool is pretty straightforward.

Upflow has significantly reduced the time we spend chasing overdue invoices. It provides a centralized platform to monitor and follow up on payments, ensuring better cash flow management. - Very good UX, clear and easy to use. You can become an independant user in few days.
- Easy to plug to our ERP Netsuite, in few clicks everything was connected and the metrics were already present in the tool. The integration was very smooth compared to several finance tools.
- Excellent customer support, always available to help us with our questions or issues (Laurie is great).
- We use it everyday, following up with all our client's situation, checking the metrics/analytics and very helpful to motivate the team to decrease the outstanding amounts.
- All the teams including finance, sales and legal started to use it and we received only positive feedbacks for now.

Whenever I'm having technical issues, my account manager is always very quick to respond and provide the best solution possible. They also take into account suggestions.

UPFLOW gives you the possibility to organize your cash collection with processes and methods. Starting from the automatic sorting of all the new invoices and credit notes inside every customer's balance and through personalized workflows that can be tailored to each specific situation.
The implementation has been very easy and quick, allowing users to immediately start to play with the tool and build up a credit collection dept. by scratch in few weeks.

UPFLOW is not properly designed for the Italian market and so has different features which are not applicable here.

The standout features include Automatic emails and SMS reminders for follow-ups, elimination of manual inefficiencies, and insights for peak collection efficiency. The continuous updates with new features keep us ahead in AR technology.

Our overall experience with Upflow has been overwhelmingly positive. If we occasionally encounter minor issues, like the odd 500 time out error after or during an ugrade, the responsive customer support team addresses these promptly and professionally.
