"Versatile and Visual Collaborative Tool"
What do you like best about Miro?

I love Miro's versatility; it’s one of my favorite things about it. I can use it for many different purposes, like conducting kickoff sessions with stakeholders, building affinity diagrams, and facilitating workshops and internal training sessions. The templates are quite useful, especially the Kanban board, which I usually go back to. They're basically accelerators that save me time since I don't have to create them from scratch. The AI feature has been helpful too, even if the results weren’t as perfect as I wanted—it still gave me a good idea for presenting and building diagrams. I appreciate how Miro caters to my colleagues who have a visual mindset, helping them process and digest information better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

When the boards get really big, it's hard to navigate. It becomes slow. Also, finding information is quite limited. If I search for a keyword, it shows me every place where that keyword appears, and the only filter that I have is the type of element where that keyword is. For example, I can say I just want to find this keyword in sticky notes. But I think those are quite limited search filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Flexibility and Collaboration for Traveling Design Teams"
What do you like best about Miro?

The adaptability, The neutral design of Miro allows you to truly iterate and create an universal ideation space, that is difficult to match in a physical setting. This allows endless possibilities for all design sectors to design, develop, and collaborate in real time, anywhere you have access to a computer. This is the most crucial aspect when it comes to remote work in design careers, the ability to see a full design process, like its on the table Infront of you (if the table was infinitely wide and long!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

No negatives except when the program is laggy, or I reach a board limit, but one board is counted twice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for our daily work and alignment"
What do you like best about Miro?

I appreciate that it is good for early ideas and also for big, complex designs. We use it for mapping processes, customer journeys and workshops too. The tool is flexible for every use case, not rigid.

Because of the templates and real-time co-editing, we are much faster from idea to implementation. This fits well with our digital transformation and AI goals. So overall, Miro gives us speed and clarity. It helps me translate strategy into actual designs that everyone in the company understands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I don’t have big issues with Miro, but a few things slow us down in complex projects.

Large boards can get heavy when many teams work at the same time, especially in workshops with lots of files. Performance is okay, but not always smooth.

Also, some integrations feel one-way. For us, a real two-way sync with Jira or Confluence would be better to remove manual steps.

Exporting boards to documentation still requires extra formatting. It works, but it is not fully automatic.

These are not blockers, just areas where the tool could be better for big companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Every day, any time, my favourite collaboration support"
What do you like best about Miro?

- It's the perfect canvas for anything and the best part is that it can expand with my project.

- Collaboration is easy and seamless. Even for colleagues who feel less comfortable using miro, I can help them navigate e.g. by using moderator tools.

- I use miro almost daily, for personal note taking, presentations and documentation. Never had to contact support as of today and I am frequently used for feedback.

Awesome product! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The only thing that I think could be optimised in miro is tables, so I can add images there too, since this would make documentation easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Visual Collaboration Made Effortless with Miro"
What do you like best about Miro?

Visual Collaboration

Miro provides an infinite canvas that makes brainstorming, mapping, and planning highly visual and interactive. Teams can easily create diagrams, mind maps, and workflows.

Real-Time Collaboration

Multiple users can work on the same board simultaneously, with features like sticky notes, comments, and voting that make remote collaboration feel natural.

Integrations

It integrates seamlessly with tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace, which helps streamline workflows.

Templates

Miro offers a huge library of templates for everything from agile ceremonies to design sprints, which saves time and boosts productivity.

Ease of Use

Its intuitive interface makes it easy for both technical and non-technical users to get started quickly.

Flexibility

Whether you’re doing project planning, UX design, or strategy workshops, Miro adapts to different team needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Performance Issues on Large Boards

When boards become very complex with lots of elements, Miro can lag or slow down, especially on less powerful devices.

Pricing

The free plan is quite limited, and the paid tiers can feel expensive for small teams or individual users.

Steep Learning Curve for Advanced Features

While basic usage is easy, mastering advanced features like integrations or custom templates can take time.

Limited Offline Access

Miro is heavily cloud-based, so working offline is not well-supported.

Permissions Management

Some users find managing access rights and permissions for large teams a bit cumbersome.

Export Limitations

Exporting boards in high resolution or specific formats sometimes requires a paid plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mind mapping and planning with Miro"
What do you like best about Miro?

User interface is quite clear, and it is simple, which is much appreciated when using a new tool and a collaborative option is always a big plus when trying to work on a project with other people. Miro is also a good option when a meeting with other members requires visual help. I have never contacted your customer support so cannot speak on this one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

When others haven't heard about Miro, and it is another new tool it is a heavy lifting to convince to use it also, when preparing for a meeting and using miro with people who have never used it it is a challenge. When it comes to the usability, some navigability issues espcially when it comes to dragging objects and resizing it is not so intuitive as it could have been. Also tools for project management could have been clearer to make sure to take a full advantage. There is a lot of features but difficult to use without the knowledge of them. Because not many people use the tool, frequency of usage is sometimes lost - usually I use it once a week but need to remember in order to go fully make it a habit. "The Ultimate Collaboration Hub for Teams"
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro is a shared “home base” for collaboration.

Everyone can jump in at the same time, react, comment, and keep momentum without needing a live meeting.

It’s great for brainstorming and workshop-style sessions, but it’s just as useful for rounding up research and keeping decisions, links, and artifacts in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

What I dislike about Miro is that once you get into the more “structured” features like roadmapping or project management, it starts to feel like you’re maintaining a second system of record.

The setup and ongoing data entry can be a lot, especially when the real source data already lives in other tools, so it’s hard to justify keeping everything in sync.

Because of that, I usually end up building lightweight summary views manually on the board rather than leaning on the built-in planning features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Workshops, Brainstorms, and Team Alignment"
What do you like best about Miro?

I love how intuitive and flexible Miro is. It allows teams to collaborate in real time, no matter where they are, and the visual canvas makes workshops, brainstorming sessions, and process mapping incredibly smooth. The templates save a huge amount of time and the interface feels clean, modern, and fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

At times, boards with many elements can become slow, especially when multiple users are active at once. Some advanced features feel locked behind higher-tier plans, which may limit smaller teams. Also, navigation can be overwhelming for new users until they get used to the canvas and shortcuts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Collaboration and Instant Productivity with Miro"
What do you like best about Miro?

My favorite thing about Miro is how simple it is to collaborate, especially when people are not in the same room. Conversations can proceed more quickly and remain more focused when everyone's cursors are visible, sticky notes can be added in real time, and ideas can be visually mapped out on a single, large shared canvas. I can start working right away rather than starting from scratch thanks to the templates for things like mind maps, user journeys, and retros. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

What I like about Miro most is how this tool makes collaboration feel easy, especially when people are not in the same room. You can see everybody's cursors, you can add sticky notes in real time, and visually map out your ideas on one big shared canvas. This really makes conversations move faster and stay more focused. The templates for things like retros, mind maps, and user journeys save a lot of time; I jump right into the work, instead of building everything from scratch. "Effortless Collaboration with Powerful Visual Tools"
What do you like best about Miro?

I find Miro extremely valuable for visualizing my university work better than other options I've tried. Its usefulness in mind mapping is unparalleled, particularly because I can add an A4 frame per topic and easily export and print them, which is excellent for revising away from devices. I truly appreciate the intuitive feeling of working with Miro on my own, especially with the access to templates and the ease of including various visual materials. When collaborating with others, it's unmatched for brainstorming, allowing seamless addition of images, text, emojis, PDFs, and more. The platform makes it easy to onboard new people in just a few minutes. Additionally, features like the ability to pull people to me when I'm leading, seeing if someone has commented, using the voting feature, and the built-in timer contribute to an enjoyable and efficient collaboration experience. All these aspects make Miro my go-to tool, and I'm confident in recommending it regularly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The arrows to connect elements are too eager, and I wish there was a toggle in the board settings to use the 'automatic arrow' feature or not. This issue arises mainly when collaborating with people who are new to Miro. Additionally, new users often move frames around a lot, and I wish it were more challenging to move them—perhaps requiring a double-click—without locking, since I frequently need to resize them, especially during brainstorming sessions.
