"Infinite Canvas and Simplicity Define Miro"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I really like Miro's infinite canvas; it allows everyone to provide input and document everything on the same board, which is great for big teams. The simplicity and performance are impressive too—there's no need for training, and it never hangs on the Chrome browser. I find it easy to use, and the provided widgets and color palettes are more than sufficient for writing flowcharts, designing APIs, and documenting designs. Miro is especially valuable because everyone can remotely see and contribute without any complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I think one area where Miro could improve is by integrating AI features. Many tools now offer AI capabilities, so it would be helpful if Miro could design an entire flowchart for us when we pose a question about it. That feature isn't available at the moment, and I feel it's something that's missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Whiteboard with Handy Tools for Notes and Action Items"
4/5
What do you like best about Miro?

It’s easy to use as a whiteboard for discussions. There are multiple tools available, which is really handy for drawing, taking notes, jotting down bullet points and action items, and assigning next steps. Miro provides AI-supported suggestions that are very useful. Adding new users is straightforward, and onboarding is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I’m looking for better Jira integration. I want to link Jira stories and issues directly with Miro boards, and when a story is completed, I’d like Miro to automatically close or update the related timelines. Also, Miro is often very slow for me and takes too long to load, which makes it frustrating to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro’s PlantUML Feature Makes Diagramming Fast and Effortless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I like Miro's PlantUML diagram feature the most. I use it a lot because I can quickly create clear diagrams from simple text. It helps me plan system architecture, workflows and project designs without spending time drawing everything manually. Yes, I think Miro is worth the price, especially if you work with a team. The collaboration features, easy diagramming, and shared workspace save time and reduce unnecessary meetings. Yes, I think Miro is worth the price, especially if you work with a team. What do you dislike about Miro?

One thing I dislike is that PlantUML diagrams cannot be edited after they are created. If I want to make changes, I have to save the PlantUML code somewhere else and then edit that code and generate the diagram again instead of editing the diagram directly. "Great for turning ideas into actual plans"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like most about Miro is how it brings thinking, collaboration, and AI into the same workspace. I can quickly put ideas, notes, diagrams, and rough concepts on one canvas and then use AI to organize, summarize, or build on what I’ve already created. The fact that the AI can understand the context of the canvas is especially useful because I don’t have to repeatedly explain the background. It makes Miro feel like an active part of my workflow rather than just another whiteboard or a separate AI chatbot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The main thing I find challenging about Miro is the learning curve. There are many features and ways to work on a board, so it can take some time to discover the best workflow. This is especially true with the newer AI capabilities, where I sometimes need to explore a feature before understanding how it fits into my work. I think clearer guidance and more contextual examples for these features could make the experience easier for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Endless Creative Possibilities to Develop Engaging Virtual Lessons"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro gives me the tools to create virtual lessons for students I tutor. I can add graphics, color, change fonts, and spruce up the boards to engage and emphasize important information. The possibilities are endless! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

There are occasions when the Miro board does not save or want to load. Not often, but when that happens, it is frustrating. I know now to save my boards so I can access them when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Drag-and-Drop Boards That Make Drafting Deliverables Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

that you can drag & drop the images, add sticky notes, you can easily draft the whole deliverables within the board. And everybody can access it at the same time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

that PDF pages reset if you leave the miro and come back, it doesnt reduce the pdf file so it tend to freeze. with this reason we make multiple boards for same project, ended up getting confused.

Also there are a lot of time we draw linework and sketches on top of the attached images, but most of the time the linework tend to be connected to adjacent shapes or notes which is super annoying

Also not having the bullet points mode on text could be inconvenient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Makes It Easy to Visualize and Organize Ideas with Your Team"
4/5
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is that it helps me turn my ideas into something I can actually see. When working on Project Kivu Gold, I used it to organize our packaging, sourcing, budget, and logistics ideas, which made it much easier to compare options and explain my thinking to my teammates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Sometimes Miro can feel overwhelming when a board has many sticky notes, images, and sections. It can also take some time to learn where different tools are, especially when you are using it for the first time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Get things done quickly with Miro and make working together more enjoyable"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I use Miro every day at work for almost all of my user research work activities, from planning to running tests, analysing feedback and now I can even present research findings to stakeholders. Miro makes collaborating with my colleagues via the boards really smooth and easy. I'm not sure what I'd do without it now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I think the only downside is that sometimes when working as a team we end up with so much on a board that it is a little slow to load. It's resolved by making sure we start a fresh board when we are adding a lot of new material. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Creative, Fast Digital Storyboarding Platform with Convenient Drag-and-Drop"
4/5
What do you like best about Miro?

I like how the platform allows for creativity to draw, type a sticky note, etc., it's taking real-life storyboarding and allowing it to be digital, and for remote working and changing. I think it performs well, too. It doesn't take long to load, even with a heavy board, and the drag-and-drop interface is really convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Pricing, I don't like that some features are paid subscriptions or that there is a cap on how many free boards you are allowed to have. I also think its use of AI for creating isn't very strong, it is good for admin tasks but not for creation of new tables etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Collaboration That Makes Workshops Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is how it blends an intuitive interface with genuinely powerful collaboration. The infinite canvas, extensive template library, and smooth drag-and-drop experience make it easy to run brainstorming sessions, workshops, process mapping, and project planning without spending much time on setup. The platform feels thoughtfully designed, so even new users can get up to speed quickly and start contributing.

Real-time collaboration is where Miro really shines. Multiple participants can work on the same board at once using sticky notes, comments, voting, and other interactive features, which keeps meetings engaging and helps teams align faster. I’ve also found it to be reliable in practice, even when several people are actively working in the same space.

Miro integrates well with tools such as Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, which makes it easier to connect visual collaboration to existing workflows instead of constantly switching between applications. The AI features have also become increasingly useful for organizing content, summarizing discussions, and speeding up brainstorming, saving time during workshops.

My onboarding experience was excellent, too. Through the Miro Ambassador program, I had access to structured onboarding courses and practical learning resources that helped me understand both the platform itself and best practices for facilitating collaborative sessions.

From a value perspective, Miro offers flexible pricing that can scale from individuals and small teams to large enterprises. The free plan is generous enough to explore the platform, while the paid plans unlock features such as unlimited boards, advanced collaboration tools, AI capabilities, and enterprise administration. For teams that rely on visual collaboration regularly, the productivity gains and time saved during planning and workshops can deliver a strong return on investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

While Miro is very powerful, very large and content-heavy boards can occasionally feel overwhelming to navigate and may experience slight performance slowdowns. New users can also need a little time to become familiar with all of the available features because the platform offers so much functionality.

Finally, some advanced features and AI capabilities are limited to higher-tier plans, so smaller teams may not have access to everything without upgrading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
