**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

There’s still nothing out there like it. Sure there are freeware packages out there like Gimp, but Photoshop remains my go to tool for image touch ups and manipulation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rabbit .

I use Adobe Photoshop for editing photos. I appreciate that it enhances the quality of images and I can experiment, as it is versatile. I like that it's easy to use, delivers great quality, and runs smoothly with many features. I enjoy the editable texts and the effects available, which are great for my creative work. Features like outer glow, drop shadow, perspective, color gradient, stroke, and dynamic shapes are particularly valuable.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Switching text layers to the normal ones could be a bit smoother and while working on 40 images at once causes crashes of the app sometimes. While switching to a different type of layer, the properties of that layer may take a few seconds to load. Handling many images can cause Photoshop to exit without any warning, although it recovers most of the data, it still disrupts the workflow.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Photoshop enhances photo quality and offers versatile features for creative work. It provides easy-to-use tools like outer glow, drop shadow, and color gradients, allowing me to experiment with text appearance effectively.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Photoshop helps me produce professional-quality images and designs by allowing precise retouching, color correction, compositing, and background cleanup. It saves time, improves consistency, and helps me deliver client-ready visuals faster.

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I find Adobe Photoshop valuable because it provides every individual transformation a designer needs, allowing me to retouch, modify, and edit photos effectively. Even though it doesn't offer templates by default, it has everything, and it does the best job for complex tasks. I appreciate its comprehensive features for creating pitch decks, posters, and flyers, especially before other tools like Canva were available. The setup on Windows was pretty straightforward where you just click 'next', and it’s done, though some tuning with printers for high-quality output was needed.

Well, their pricing structures, it's really, really, hard for anyone to afford it.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I keep mentioning generative AI, and that's just been such a game changer for me. I love being able to use a magic wand to quickly select the background so I can change it. I also like to use the hue saturation to change the color of the t-shirts that I've designed. Adobe Photoshop has become so easy to use. There used to be a huge learning curve, but now not so much. It's become easier to use, and people like me who are just willing to learn a little bit are able to make the most of it and save money. We don't have to pay designers for this anymore.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

It's a little buggy, like sometimes when I log in, some features aren't working, or my toolbars have changed. Maybe it's just something I'm doing. But, having more control over the user interface would help a lot.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With generative AI in Adobe Photoshop, I can do almost anything, saving time on image editing and not needing to pay others for work like changing t-shirt colors.

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

Adobe Photoshop is still a primary tool in my business for web design and branding. It's also still the best solution for anything that needs to be output to the quality of physical material whether than is print, embroidery, swag, etc. While it's not a tool for beginner's it is the best in class for designers and professionals.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Once you know how to use Photoshop, it's a walk in the park, however, my biggest issue with it currently is how much processing power and storage it takes up on my computer - which seems to be significantly increasing with every CC update.

Adobe, including Photoshop has added new features regularly but they have really lost their way with usability, product delivery and have become less that truthful with their marketing of new feature availability, espacially related to AI tools

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe is still able to manipulate images for web and print in the way I need. I’ve also had some success using the newer neural filters to retouch older, lower-resolution photos.

  ### 26. Flexible and Feature-Rich, But Needs a Simpler UI

I particularly appreciate the newer AI-powered features, such as harmonizer, color transfer, and retouching tools, which significantly enhance my creative process.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

I find the interface of Adobe Photoshop to be outdated and initially quite complicated. When I first started using it five to six years ago, the UI felt old, and the software did not run smoothly on average laptops. Photoshop is a professional tool that can be overwhelming for new users, making it challenging for someone unfamiliar with the software to easily get started. I'd like to see improvements in making the UI more simple and beginner-friendly.

I’ve been using Adobe Photoshop for almost two decades and can’t imagine my work without it. I love the AI features, which have made me love it even more recently. It's an awesome and very advanced tool that I use almost daily, whether for small touch-ups, tiny edits, or creating visualizations from scratch. The AI makes things I want to edit so much quicker and offers three options for edits, so I can choose the best one, saving me time and offering more precision than I might achieve by hand.

  ### 29. Versatile but Not Open Source

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N.

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I like that Adobe Photoshop can add an infinite number of graphic layers, both from the project and from the internet, allowing you to achieve infinite combinations of results. It is a very easy way to combine two-dimensional images and manage various graphic elements such as transparency, texture, and color. It is also very easy to handle, making it simple to prepare presentations for clients, using information from 3D projects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

One downside of Adobe Photoshop is the fact that it is not open source, therefore it is paid. Many people might not be able to afford a subscription for a program that is used for a final work, which for an architect might represent only 15% of the total process. For this reason, there are other open source platforms that offer a free alternative. Additionally, initially it took me some time to do the basic setup because all the filters and setups need to be customized, since Photoshop starts with default setups.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Photoshop allows me to easily manage the final details of renderings, adjusting transparency, texture, and color. It facilitates the combination of two-dimensional images from 3D projects, helping me create simple and practical graphic presentations for clients.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhavsar J.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I enjoy color correction, changing backgrounds from images, and creating thumbnails in Adobe Photoshop. Design work becomes fast, professional, and visually appealing with Photoshop. Setting it up is very easy, it installs with just one click and takes no time at all.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

The Selection Tool in Photoshop does not work properly. Besides this, there is no major issue, but if there is more optimization in performance and tools, the experience could be even better.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Photoshop for image editing, design creation, and resolving quality issues. This makes my design work fast, professional, and visually appealing.

  ### 34. Essential for Photo Enhancements and Collages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debjani P.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I use Adobe Photoshop to edit all my photos and designs, and it helps me enhance my photos by adding extra quality. What I like most about Adobe Photoshop are the editing features, which help me transform dull and blurry photos by adding some extra light to the background. I also really appreciate the layout features. I have a lot of photos and Adobe Photoshop helps me collage them into a single picture. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

I find that sometimes the effect features can't match with the picture.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Photoshop to enhance my photos, making them less dull and blurry, and to add extra quality and light. It helps create collages by combining multiple photos into one image.

The learning curve can be overwhelming for new users because there are so many tools and features.

  ### 36. Amazingly Flexible and Powerful—A Creative Essential for All Users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie G. | Self employed Software Instructor/ Hypnotherapist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

It's amazingly flexible for both long-time and new users. In Photoshop, you can enhance or create new visual reality. Express yourself creatively, or bring back long-lost memories. Along with its inherent power, any user can find app enhancements in the form of plugins, or external apps that can add to the creative package, or even simplify daily functions. It may require some training to do more than the most basic functions, but there is a lot of content available to learn in various ways, and there are many places to receive training and support. Even long-time users can still work in the ways they've become accustomed, but there are so many new changes that make many of the most time-consuming work far faster.
It is so well integrated into the rest of the Adobe family, that it becomes an essential tool for almost every other Adobe app. As a user for 33 years, I've seen a lot of change in Photoshop, and with a small handful of exceptions, every update and upgrade has simply made the app more enjoyable to work with.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Sometimes that handful of changes has been a detriment. For example, removing most of the limited 3D capabilities we used to have, and moving them into an entire suite of apps that may be overkill for many users, that was frustrating. Some of the new interface functions are in my way, when I want to work.
But mostly, I'd love to see a more simplified interface available for new users to start to learn. Not like Elements, but a more basic set of functions in Photoshop itself, so users can learn more easily and directly by "doing". There was an attempt made, when the toolbar started to allow a limited set of tools, and the Properties panel was introduced, but it still becomes a bit scary for new users. I often direct them to the available free training, or offer training myself, but there should be an easier introduction for new users to be onboarded.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves everything. From the creation of marketing assets for my businesses, to repairing old photos (and some of the newest tools are amazing at that!). I go to it for even the simplest changes, but when I want to be creative, or ad or remove from existing photos, nothing compares. And nothing allows the kind of flexibility for compositing images together, like Photoshop does. That's not even speaking to the power of even it's fundamental design capabilities. I have no idea how my life would be, without this essential program.

  ### 37. Adobe Photoshop: Constant Updates and a Powerhouse for Quick, Easy Touch-Ups

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 38. After thirty years, it is still the best option for image editing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos A. | Senior Designer and Creative Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I have been using Adobe Photoshop since the late 1980s, and even after nearly four decades, I am still as enthusiastic and impressed with this program as I was on day one. It is an essential tool for preparing files for print, web, and app design, and I highly recommend it.

In terms of Ease of Use, Photoshop is intuitive once you understand its professional features, and I use it almost daily, so the Frequency of Use in my case is very high. The Ease of Implementation is also excellent, as it installs quickly, integrates well with other Adobe products, and works seamlessly with drawing tablets.

Today, I use Photoshop not only for image editing but also for digital drawing and creative design. It allows me to create artwork, commercial illustrations, and visually impactful projects for my clients.

The latest versions include features that significantly enhance workflow, such as product mockup creation, new creative tools, and automated actions that streamline repetitive tasks, making them much faster and more efficient.

In my experience, Photoshop is the industry standard: indispensable for illustrators, graphic designers, photographers, and web designers. Unlike basic mobile apps, which are suitable for beginners, Photoshop is designed for professionals who require precision, quality, and consistent results.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

What I like the least about Photoshop are some of the changes in the newer versions that have made the workflow a bit more complicated. For example, the option to directly export for the web was removed, which was a very practical feature. I also find that managing color profiles can be confusing—there are simply too many options, and it’s not always clear which one is best. Personally, I stick to one standard profile, the same one my providers use, to ensure consistency.

Another area that feels more complex now is creating duotones for spot-color printing. In older versions, this process was easier, while now it feels somewhat cumbersome. Additionally, the automatic masking tools are not always precise: edges often come out too sharp, almost as if “cut with scissors,” so I usually need to refine them manually to achieve a professional finish.

That said, these are relatively minor issues. No software is perfect, and despite these limitations, Photoshop remains my preferred and indispensable tool for creative work, both artistic and commercial. I also appreciate that Customer Support is available when needed, especially through Adobe’s online resources and community forums, which help resolve most issues efficiently.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Photo and image editing and retouching, mockup creation, high-resolution drawing and digital art, color adjustment, project presentation specifically for outdoor signage and advertising, and large-format printing.

  ### 39. Must have tool every designer needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel B. | Content Producer, Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I appreciate how versatile Photoshop is. I use it for everything from photo editing and creating social media graphics to making mockups and trying out quick design ideas. The tools are powerful, yet once you become familiar with them, they are also quite easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

At first, it can be a bit overwhelming because there are so many tools and options to navigate. I’ve also noticed that it sometimes runs slowly, especially when I’m working with large files or if my computer isn’t performing well. Additionally, the cost can feel high for those who only use it casually.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool helps me create polished visuals for both work and personal projects. No matter what the project is, it provides the control and flexibility I need. It keeps my designs looking professional and allows me to experiment with different styles.

Helping me re-create images, bringing them back to a real sharper image, as well as helping me create graphics and content that is.

  ### 41. Powerful, Widely Used, and with a Huge Community

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

The functionality and advanced editing options

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

It is quite expensive, the somewhat forced AI still gives uncanny valley

It fills the performance gap from lesser photo editing options like Canva

  ### 43. Never-Ending Possibilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Administration T. | Admin/Exec. Assistant/Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

The never ending possibilities to create your visions.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

The only dislike I have would be my own faults with the program, as the program continues to grow and become more intelligent. I too need to keep up with it, but sometimes do not have the time to fully dive into a class.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This gives me fully control over designs, allowing me endless possibilities to adapt an image exactly how I want. This benefits me by keeping me creative and away from the over-population of AI use.

  ### 44. Photoshop is boon for editing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha B. | Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

It has a brush and editing tools that help remove the background from an image, then add new images and effects to create something new.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

It’s the clone stamp tool. I think Photoshop needs to improve it, because right now it doesn’t feel as reliable or polished as it should.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The hair-refining features when removing a person’s background and the masking feature in the Camera Raw Filter make things much easier now. Before, it was very difficult to do manually.

  ### 45. Decades of Excellence and Cutting-Edge AI Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiro N. | Tour Guide, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

I've been using Adobe Photoshop since 1998, so I'm very used to it. And Adobe keeps improving the software, so it now has many AI features, and it's fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

I previously purchased this as standalone software, but it is now only available as SaaS, which makes it somewhat pricey.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a small coffee shop and frequently take photos of our dishes to print as menus. Since I only have an iPhone, sometimes the pictures don't turn out as appetizing as I'd like. That's why I use Adobe Photoshop to edit them, and after some adjustments, the photos look much more delicious!

I have enjoyed the new AI features. It allows someone who may not be as well-versed in Photoshop to easily make edits and create new concepts.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

I dislike how glitchy the program can be. It frequently crashes while i a in the middle of using it.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe is solving a time issue. They are making it very quick to edit photos with the AI feature and that saves me time in my day to day tasks.

**What do you like best about Adobe Photoshop?**

Industry standard for photo editing, with a great feature set. The new AI features are very welcome.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

Subscription practices are very poor, especially the way you get locked into the product. This seems to be the case across the Adobe suite, though. From a product standpoint, I find it difficult to fault.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a high-end image editor that would allow us to create logos and marketing materials, as well as edit existing images.

  ### 49. Excellent photo editing, amazing utility

It also has some tools available that help in removing objects from the photo's background. This helps in enhancing my photos.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Photoshop?**

First of all, the text font can be made more attractive so that after writing the image text, it looks even more appealing.

**What problems is Adobe Photoshop solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Photoshop to enhance photo quality and improve poor photos with modern filters. Its excellent interface and numerous tools help in removing objects from the photo background, making the work easier.
