What I like most about Miro is how it helps me organize ideas and collaborate with my team. I use it a lot during product discovery, especially after user interviews. The AI features are one of my favorite parts because they can analyze hundreds of sticky notes, group similar insights, and create clear summaries. This saves me a lot of time and reduces the manual work of organizing research. Since the summaries are usually very accurate, I can focus more on understanding user needs and making better product decisions instead of spending hours sorting information. One thing I don’t like about Miro is the language consistency in the AI features. Most of my boards and notes are in Portuguese, so I write my AI prompts in Portuguese as well. However, the AI often generates the final document or summary in English. This creates extra work because I have to ask the AI to translate everything back into Portuguese before I can share it with my team. Things I like about MIRO, when the work is messy, highly collaborative, and hard to capture in a slide deck or a Word document - example, multiple people can work together on an ideation (e.g., a system workflow) on a meeting together with no need to track changes. It’s helpful when you need to get people aligned around a process, risk, decision — when different people interpret the same topic in different ways, can't imagine holding a workshop without using Miro.

For me, the real benefit is being able to move from rough thinking to a more structured output in the same space — use of various tools in one space instead of opening multiple files, like sticky notes, process diagrams, voting, comments, tables, screenshots, etc. can all live together on one board. It does not require a lot of training to use, it is easy to get started and intuitive, regardless of the seniority of the employee.

It has got innovative real time integrations with slack, tables, JIRA, etc. that make the information relevant on the page. Nothing really. I believe there is a dependency on internet to be able to work, which means I can't use in on an airplane or train if the connection isn't good. Additionally, it is not designed to version control - i.e., the information is typically overwritten without the audit trail, our work around to manage that is we create duplicate Miro boards as a make shift solution. What I like best about Miro is its ability to bring everyone into a single collaborative workspace, regardless of whether they are internal team members, consultants, owners, or other stakeholders. It allows us to review designs, brainstorm ideas, perform QA/QC, track action items, and maintain live project schedules in real time. The visual and interactive format makes it easy for everyone to contribute, react to changes, and make decisions together, which improves coordination and keeps projects moving forward efficiently. Large boards can become difficult to navigate without strong organization, and managing access for external stakeholders can sometimes be cumbersome. Miro is amazing for collaboration, great with workshops, and the syncing tool is also great. The templates are really helpful, the way that you can host meetings and update work together as well as running tasks and challenged it's great. Great for doing UX flows to understand user journeys and visualise user behaviours and mindsets. I think the support is great, and the updates via email are helpful. I use Miro to organize Product management workshops and solve remote collaboration problems, which is super useful. It also allows for managing complex documentation and synchronizing all project stakeholders around the same document. I find Miro very adaptable to different formats like brainstorming, backlog design, and daily cards. You can do a lot with this tool, and the fact that it is vector-based is a real joy. Managing structures at Miro is a real challenge. I have encountered real constraints regarding the creation and sharing of boards, especially depending on the size of the structures that use it. Navigating through the structures, among the different teams and departments, is very complicated. Honestly, I sometimes have to ask for help to create and share boards with certain entities in my organization. I use Miro for capturing problems across different product surfaces, and it really shines during brainstorms, retros, and planning sessions when trying to build coherent views across teams. I love the ease of pasting images, creating shapes, and editing them to denote various relationships and information. It’s also relatively easy to share with others. The platform feels 'unlimited' in how much I can create and expand the view, and the UI is friendly and easy to manipulate. I wish it was a bit clearer or easier to view when certain objects had been grouped together. You kind of need to click and play around to figure out that some items are grouped. I wish there was a way where I could press a button and view the linked object so I could figure out if I needed to break some things apart. I also wish there were nicer templates and icons. Right now to me the templates are a little bit ugly, and I tend to use the same few simple shapes and icons for my tasks. I'd also love to have better theming of objects. The infinite collaborative canvas is by far my favourite feature, because it really helps my team come together and brainstorm using sticky notes.

Additionally, now that they’ve introduced AI features like the User Persona Generator and user feedback-to-insights, it’s been really helpful for our product design team to generate quick insights.

I don’t think there’s anything our team doesn’t like, since we’ve been using Miro for years. That said, with the new AI features coming in, we do need to spend some time understanding how to leverage them so they actually make our workflow more effective.

The best part is the possibility to share the board and other person can edit, paste sticky notes, change and review. This feature is very usefull to remote teams.

Another part that is very good is the integrations. In the printscreen I shared users can see Miro interacting with Jira and to me is very helpful.

The only part that’s a bit confusing is when colleagues try to access my board for the first time: they sometimes have trouble finding it, even when using the link provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's really handy having a collaborative space that is easily accessed from anywhere. We use it as a reference guide that anyone can update. Sometimes intricate diagrams get a bit finnicky, but it's mostly when pushing it to its limits. The mouse wheel changing between zooming and scrolling can be a bit annoying too. A large board can take anywhere from 1-3GB of RAM, so you might need a decent machine for complex boards. Haven't really used the AI in it to its full potential. I love how many people can be working on the diagram (edit) at one time and seeing everyone's changes happening on the diagram. Honestly, I am falling asleep right now, literally melting into my couch pillows. It allows me to make actual color choices for the blocks. You have to pay extra for most of your important database icons. Sometimes when you create a very large diagram, the board will freeze. I'm sitting here staring at the screen zoning out searching through the menu for specific icon shapes and it seems like an eternity.
