  ### 1. Why Miro's Infinite Canvas + AI Sidekick Makes My Service Mapping Fun

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I've been using Miro a ton for service blueprints and journey maps. Here's what stands out for me.

Miro AI's Sidekick is handy—I rely on it heavily to create detailed service maps in about 5 minutes. I have a custom prompt that works great for service blueprints and other journey maps. It gets me 80% there fast. Plus, I can use Miro AI to ask questions and digest the large service blueprint in easy chunks.

The customizable templates save time too. They're an easy starting point for a first draft, so I don't have to build from nothing.

Compared to Claude or Gemini, the biggest plus is the infinite canvas. It lets me visualize maps and charts without limits, and I can edit them quickly. Text AIs feel boxed in; this one gives room to spread out and tweak as I go.

It's solid for what I do, though free version has export limits and you need paid for full AI. Works well solo or with a small team.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

It's a strong tool, but there are spots that could use work. For one, Sidekick AI doesn't give citations like Perplexity does—if it pulled in sources or references for the maps it generates, that'd make it way more trustworthy for client work.

Navigating the infinite canvas can be tricky too. Stuff gets spread out, and I still have to give teammates a walkthrough to find everything. Some kind of search or pinned navigation would help.

Wireframing's okay for quick first drafts, but it's not as detailed as what Claude or Pencil AI churn out. Fine for sketches, but I end up refining elsewhere for polished mocks.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I like using Miro to work on design thinking projects with collaborators and students. I really appreciate how it allows the development of a personal problem-solving logic for each person and objective, enabling everyone to organize their ideas uniquely and achieve non-imitative thought processes. I also like its ability to combine different means of organizing information and complement it effectively. Additionally, I value how it allows for more organic storytelling. The initial installation of Miro was very easy, and I always recommend it to colleagues and students.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I don't have many complaints, however I would like the way of working from the computer to improve a bit, to be more fluid.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Miro to work on design thinking, organizing ideas and developing unique thought processes. It facilitates articulating narratives in a more organic way.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro is a great tool for collaborating, it is simple and easy to use. I like that it can serve as a digital whiteboard for employees and teams who are working remotely. I also find it extremely convenient that it includes a wide range of tools like sticky notes and diagram blocks.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Miro can be difficult to navigate when a board gets too large (it can be challenging to find a specific stop on the board). Something like a board search tool, or the ability to collapse sections of a board would be incredibly helpful.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro solves the need for engineers and designers to work together to visualize plans and other concepts. It helps bridge the gap between in person and remote collaboration, and it acts as a repository where past plans and designs can be referenced in the future.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro is a great tool for helping me collaborate remotely with colleagues. The interface offers plenty of useful options while still keeping everything easy to use, which makes remote work feel smooth and straightforward.
Miro is also great for people who don't have the same devices as me (PC, Mac, Tablet) as anyone can connect and collaborate with the team.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Unfortunately, Miro does have a couple parts where it falls short, Miro makes it hard for people to work on iPhone as they can only view the boards. While this is a drawback, Miro is still a great app to connect with  colleges.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I had used the Miro app, I had to always manage my group to schedule times out of our day to physically meet. Now with Miro, we can focus on what we have to get done, resulting in at least 100 hours saved from struggling to connect with teammates.

I rely on Miro to keep me organized in my busy role by offering one place to manage ideas, tasks, and shared projects. It smooths team communication and makes planning much easier. Miro's AI tools are great for organizing loose notes quickly, and the integrations make it easy to coordinate with other tools, keeping our workflow streamlined and preventing the need to switch between apps. I also like how Miro remains responsive even when a board gets large, and the pricing feels fair for the time it saves me. The initial setup was smooth with no significant issues, and it didn't take long before it was useful.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The flip side of those big boards is that they can get unwieldy, and navigating them sometimes slows down. A few of the more advanced features sit behind paid tiers, which isn't ideal for a small team like ours. And when several people are working on the same board at once, things can turn messy fast unless someone's set a clear structure first.

You can visually lay out and centralize a lot of information. At the same time, you can have many people collaborating together.

When there is too much information, the board can be very laggy. There can be a bit of a learning curve on how to navigate the board especially for new users - features are not always intuitive.

Team collaboration and sharing visual concepts have been the most helpful. When we have design reviews, concepts can be laid out nicely, and each team member can provide their feedback on virtual sticky notes.

What I like most about Miro is the ability to collaborate with team members in real time. It also makes it easy to collect artifacts, such as screenshots for benchmarking, and to facilitate workshops.

One downside is that AI doesn’t always work very well and sometimes spits out nonsense.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I love that Miro gives me one space to brainstorm and structure ideas without the usual friction. The templates offer a starting point and often spark a way of organizing a concept I hadn't considered. I appreciate the interactivity, where I can effortlessly drop different cards and elements and map out flows, which perfectly suits how I run ideation on a design project. The infinite canvas makes collaborating with the team seamless rather than scattered, and the smooth zoom is a real asset when I'm working through a concept. The ease of initial setup was also about as intuitive as software gets. One feature I keep coming back to is the real-time collaboration, allowing the whole team to add to a board at once and watch a concept take shape live.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I'd like more keyboard shortcuts, and the font handling could use some polish. My main frustration is that when I'm zoomed out and add a sticky note, there's no auto-zoom onto what I'm typing, so I can't always see the text. Being able to scale fonts properly while typing, and zoom in and out on individual cards, would smooth that over nicely. Beyond the auto-zoom and font scaling I mentioned, I'd love smarter alignment guides for snapping elements into place, a quicker way to organize a crowded board into sections without manual dragging, and a more polished presentation mode so I could walk clients through a concept directly in Miro instead of exporting it elsewhere first.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro gives me one space to brainstorm and structure ideas without friction. The templates and infinite canvas make collaborating seamless, and real-time collaboration lets the team shape concepts live. It's intuitive and frictionless, keeping me in the flow while working on projects.

What I like most about Miro is the flexibility of the infinite canvas and the ease of real-time collaboration. The pre-built templates for process maps and workshops save a lot of time, and the interface is intuitive even for non-technical people. Additionally, the initial setup was quite simple, and the team was able to start using it without the need for extensive training. The learning curve is very smooth compared to other similar tools.

It could improve performance when the boards have many elements, as it becomes somewhat slow. It would also be useful to have more advanced options for exporting process maps in standard formats like BPMN.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Honestly, i think the template aspect has been the most valuable part of using Miro. The last time i worked an extended shift, i wasn’t going to start building every single layout for our board from scratch. Being able to pick a layout and then just begin was something i didn’t realize i needed until i had it. Everything we’re working on exists in one place - including links, images, videos, comments from other people and you can either share the entire board with someone or a specific section. As it turns out being able to direct multiple people to different areas of the same board is huge.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I love the number of options available as much as i hate the fact that there are so many options. At some point the flexibility of Miro becomes a problem because you spend too much time trying to decide how to arrange your setup versus simply arranging your setup. And (this may be a minor complaint) the boards can become visually cluttered quickly if more than a few users are inputting content at the same time; i’m not aware of any method to clear the board of content in less than individual item-by-item movement.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So the main thing for me is that not everybody wants to speak in front of others in a group setting, and Miro provides a space for those individuals to offer input/contribute without having to “perform.” shy individuals will make posts; individuals that tend to ramble will make posts; and everyone’s thoughts/ideas are displayed simultaneously rather than only hearing what the loudest voice in the room is saying. It also replaces the whiteboard that would get erased anyhow… why throw away the information you’ve already created when you could maintain access to it later?

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I love the freedom Miro provides. You can do almost anything in Miro and imagine a variety of styles and file types. I appreciate the ability to input links and the fluidity of the platform, which allows me to build anything from a product development flow to a video production pipeline or QA flow. I also enjoy that Miro works on multiple platforms, including iPad, iPhone, and desktop. My experience with Miro has been flawless, and it's such an amazing tool that I can't imagine my life without it.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Oh, yeah. For sure. One of the things is the recent AI add on that created. So whenever I'm working with a video creation pipeline, I need to create that grid based storyboards, and Miro AI is not able to create it yet. Because it's creating the tables and not the grades. And tables and the grades are two different things. So this is the thing that is bothering me the most. Aside from that. I don't know. Just sometimes, it's not loading. And Miro have problems. From time to time, like several times a year. But, yeah, aside from that, I'm a fan of Miro.

I used Miro daily to show clients our work and progress in video production. It helped me get hired by making ideas visual and easy to understand. It offers freedom, supports multiple file styles, and enhances workflows for product development and video production.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

The most useful aspect is its interface, as it allows the tool to be used intuitively with a short learning curve. The integration with other tools is an excellent way to maintain the connection between different platforms, allowing for traceability of what is done on it. Its performance is excellent: it is fast and reliable.

I would dare to pay for a better experience; I consider its price to be accessible and, as it is a very useful tool in many ways, there would be a return on that investment in what is managed daily. I have not yet had experience with support because the tool has not required it.

The incorporation of AI helps to perform some tasks more quickly that can be repetitive, such as generating dashboards. In general, it is a very useful tool.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

Actually, I don't have a bad opinion or anything in particular that I don't like. Both the free version and the paid one seem very good to me.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Increase in productivity: The time spent on explanatory meetings is reduced, as the board functions as a "single source of truth."

Better decision-making: By clearly visualizing the data and dependencies of a project, it becomes easier to quickly identify risks and opportunities.

Frictionless creativity: It allows for rapid iteration of ideas without worrying about the format, facilitating more natural and less rigid collaboration.

Time savings in documentation: Everything worked on during the session is documented and ready to be shared, eliminating the need to transcribe notes after the meeting.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

Miro is an exceptional tool for team collaboration, especially in hybrid work environments. The user experience (UX) is incredibly intuitive, making it easy for everyone to jump in and start contributing immediately. Its real-time collaborative features truly bring remote and in-office teams together seamlessly.

I also really appreciate the integrated AI features. While the AI still needs a bit of fine-tuning to reach its full potential, it is already a fantastic addition that shows a lot of promise for speeding up workflows and brainstorming sessions. Overall, it’s a must-have for modern, distributed teams.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

While Miro is great, there are definitely a few downsides, especially with how rigid and "square" some of the features feel when you just want to customize mind maps and artifacts into a more organic layout. The pricing can also get pretty steep as you scale up because those per-user seat costs add up quickly for growing teams. On top of that, while the performance is usually flawless, you will notice some lag if a board gets massive, and the new AI features definitely still need a bit of fine-tuning since the results can occasionally feel a bit generic. The options on integrations are plenty but not always functional. I have never needed help or support but the onboarding is good but could have dept options of how far the user needs instructions

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro completely solves the disconnect that happens when you try to collaborate with a mix of in-office teammates, remote workers, and on-site clients all at the same time. Before, if we were doing a workshop with a client in the room, the remote people would get left out, and if we used a physical whiteboard, someone had to awkwardly take photos of it afterward. Miro acts as our single source of truth; our on-site clients can sit in the room with us and look at the big screen, while our remote team members can type, vote, and brainstorm right alongside them in real time. This has completely leveled the playing field for our hybrid meetings, keeping our clients deeply engaged and saving us tons of time since all our notes, action items, and workflows are instantly digitized and ready to go the second the meeting ends.

I really appreciate how Miro bridges the gap between technical teams and engineering staff, allowing us to work on the same canvas in real time. This shared visibility significantly shortens our alignment phase. The infinite board is fantastic for sketching entire integration architectures in one session, and the templates provide a helpful starting point. I like how easy it is to drop in cards and connectors, making it simple for both technical and non-technical people to follow along. The quick setup is a big plus, especially for engineers who are new to Miro. It’s become my go-to for client workshops, and the ease of setting it up adds to its appeal.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

A few rough edges remain. I would welcome more keyboard shortcuts, since I work faster that way during live sessions. The text behavior also needs polish: when I drop a sticky note while zoomed far out, the view should automatically focus on what I am typing. Font scaling while zooming in and out of cards could be handled more gracefully as well.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I primarily use Miro to create mind maps and organize my ideas before presenting them to my work team. It helps me better structure information and visualize concepts that might otherwise remain just words. Miro allows us to communicate better because it's not just about explaining something verbally, but about seeing it visually and collaboratively. I think the access is sometimes an issue for us. It's very hard to sometimes get every single stakeholder on the same board. **What do you dislike about Miro?**

There are plenty of tools in Miro but for me compatibility with other tools such as Visio. Being able to import other objects from other tools would really help to improve the tool. Key to that is that those objects can be worked on in Miro once they've been imported. It wasn't simple to start with but trial and error prevailed. Complications came from starting a new page, then using all of the features but it wasn't too difficult to work out at all. Then sharing it with other email accounts outside of my own work domain.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Miro provides shared awareness and collaboration in planning projects. It clearly presents ideas on a single page, making it easy for the team to contribute and understand. It unifies our approach to problems, and the functionality to pull content into presentations is a bonus.

-Very intuitive once you start using it; the interface is quite straightforward.
-The infinite canvas is probably my favorite part because it gives a lot of freedom to organize ideas without space limitations.
-Real-time collaboration works really well when working with a team. Everyone can add notes, diagrams, or comments at the same time.
-There are many ready-made templates, which saves time when starting brainstorming sessions or planning workflows.
-Customer support has been helpful whenever there are questions or issues, which makes the overall experience smoother.
-It integrates well with other tools we already use, so it fits nicely into the workflow.

-Boards can become a bit cluttered when there are too many elements or when multiple people are working on the same board.
-Some integrations require a bit of setup initially, so there can be a small learning curve at the start.

-It helps organize ideas visually, which makes brainstorming and planning much clearer compared to using plain documents.
-It solves the issue of team collaboration, since everyone can contribute to the same board in real time even when working remotely.
-It makes it easier to map workflows, processes, or project plans, which helps teams stay aligned.
-Instead of switching between multiple tools, a lot of discussion, planning, and diagramming can happen in one place.
-Overall, it helps reduce confusion during planning sessions and makes collaboration more interactive and productive.

Sometimes it takes long to load the pages, it's annoying when you are trying to look something while in a meeting. Search feature could be better; it does not spot through all the content. Adding subpages in left pages would help sometimes with page structure and quick access.

Everything in one place, it's like whiteboarding live and it auto saves, also being able to go to previous versions is cool.

Miro made collaboration much more effective at Webfleet. I especially liked the real-time editing, intuitive interface, and flexible canvas for brainstorming, planning, and process mapping. It was a great tool for keeping remote teams aligned and making workshops interactive and productive.

Performance can occasionally slow down on large boards with lots of content.

Miro helped me create a visual map of our ISMS by connecting documents, controls, stakeholders, and processes in one place. This made complex information easier to understand, improved collaboration across teams, and helped identify relationships and gaps more efficiently than using static documentation alone.

What I like most about Miro is that its basic features are very user-friendly, making it super easy to get into the tool and find ways to utilize it effectively for different situations. Also, the tool has many really innovative, first-class features that build on the basic functionality, allowing me to execute anything I can imagine or envision.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

I do find challenges with Miro when I am hoping to do co-design with folks who are very new to the tool. It can feel very robust for a first timer, and so if there was a way that we could maybe send a quick video or onboard people with basic functionalities and the tool as, like, a template feature, that would be really cool.

I use Miro for collaboration work and documenting my thinking, making it visual.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I use Miro for architectural projects moodboards, and it really helps all the team members to share info together. I like the flexibility of it, and how it works on both web and software without limits for people joining. Sometimes, when my laptop had issues and I couldn't open the app, the website was really helpful. We could have anywhere from 3-10 students on the same project. Also, the initial setup of Miro was very easy; I didn’t have a problem.

I have a problem with the photos, it maybe take some time to appear for me, also the limited edited boards sounds bad.

Miro helps all team members share information, works both on the web and software, and allows unlimited participants, even useful when my laptop has issues.

I really appreciate how Miro keeps everything in one place, making it easy to revisit brainstorm outputs and noticeably boosting our meeting productivity by eliminating the need to retrace our steps. Miro has replaced our office whiteboards, and it's a relief not to rely on blurry phone photos anymore. Ideas take shape right before us during sessions. The template library is a huge help for our small nonprofit, especially when mapping client journeys or running quarterly brainstorms. The nonprofit discount was crucial for us, and it's great that it integrates well with the other tools we use. My team loves the playful features like GIFs, sticky notes, and live voting, which have made remote meetings timely and engaging. The template library prevents the intimidation of a blank board at the start of a project, and the playful elements lower the barrier for quieter team members to participate. I also find it incredibly valuable that the initial setup took just a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The 'bring everyone to me' feature drives me up the wall. I'd much rather have a 'follow me' option where people can opt in instead of being yanked across the board mid-thought. The AI features also haven't lived up to the hype for me, though that might just be user error on my part.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer lose track of brainstorming outputs as everything stays in one place, improving meeting productivity. The template library and playful tools like GIFs and sticky notes make projects less daunting and encourage participation from quieter team members.

**What do you like best about Miro?**

I love how Miro has transformed my innovation sessions, making them genuinely interactive. The ability to drop sticky notes, vote on priorities, and flag bottlenecks in real-time has been really beneficial. Miro strikes a rare balance between structure and creativity, which is perfect for running sales processes while gathering feedback. I used Miro to map out our entire lead-to-close journey, and within an hour, my team identified three bottlenecks I'd missed. It keeps everyone engaged from start to finish and makes collaborative planning almost effortless. The initial setup was pretty easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Miro?**

The learning curve is the fly in the ointment, especially when external clients or new hires jump into a live session for the first time. I've watched more than one promising workshop hit a snag because someone couldn't find the sticky note tool. Performance also tends to drag once a board gets crowded with ideas and elements, and it's all too easy for a participant to accidentally drag a piece of the process flow out of place, which can throw a wrench into the whole session.

**What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Miro for interactive innovation sessions. It makes collaboration effortless, letting us map processes and identify bottlenecks in real time, leaving meetings with a complete workshop instead of just a shared screen.
