"Great Tool for Social Media Teams, Mobile App Needs Work"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout Social is the best tool for our team to share content across multiple platforms and channels, engaging with customers through the inbox, and tracking performance. Tools like "Team Conversations" allow our team to work more efficiently in assigning tasks, problem solving in responding to guests, and ensuring content is completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

While Sprout Social on desktop is great, the mobile app is more challenging to navigate. Features like "shorten links" are not available, and all of the tools are harder to find. Posting to instagram through the mobile app is often impossible due to "sizing issues" even when they're resized in the Sprout app. This makes it hard to post on-the-go during events, which is a big part of the posting strategy of our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Sprout Social's desktop features and the benefits it has brought to your team's content management and customer engagement. We understand the challenges you've encountered with the mobile app and will work towards enhancing its usability and functionality for a more seamless experience.

"Intuitive Interface, Boosts Multichannel Management"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I really appreciate Sprout Social for its user-friendly interface and the ease it brings to scheduling and publishing content. Managing content across multiple platforms is particularly seamless, which is something I value highly. When it comes to handling online reviews, Sprout Social makes management significantly easier compared to other larger platforms I have used in the past. This ease of use and capability is a major reason I switched from previous tools like Hey Orca and Later. Additionally, I found the initial setup of Sprout Social to be quite straightforward, with no issues encountered, which was a relief. Overall, the capabilities and user interface of Sprout Social are standout features that benefit my workflow tremendously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The only downside I find with Sprout Social is its high cost, which might be a barrier for some users. Even though the features and interface are impressive, the pricing is a significant consideration. Especially for us, who work in the non-profit space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform That Empowers Small Teams"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I really appreciate that Sprout Social is user-friendly, making it easy for new team members to learn the tools and quickly get up to speed. The platform simplifies the process of monitoring, scheduling, and managing social channels, especially for nonprofit and small business clients, by centralizing all activities, which eliminates the need to switch between various native channels. This convenience significantly reduces time and effort. Additionally, the platform offers insightful analytics and competitor data, allowing my small team to effectively function as a much larger team. The ability to quickly export reports when needed for client presentations is also highly beneficial. Moreover, Sprout Social provides excellent resources such as training calls and demo materials to help train new employees, which is crucial for getting them familiar with client performance metrics. I also have fond memories of the initial setup being straightforward and streamlined, which contributed to a hassle-free start. The overall experience has been so positive that we confidently recommend and endorse Sprout Social to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

As a small business, I am always conscious of costs, and this is an ongoing consideration for me. While Sprout Social does offer an agency model, which has not seen significant price increases over the years, I feel that more tools tailored specifically for nonprofit-serving agencies would be extremely beneficial. "Effortless Social Scheduling with Robust Analytics"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

We are able to schedule social posts with ease cross-platform. I also enjoy the metrics/analytics Sprout reports — the weekly snapshots, especially, are helpful. I use Sprout daily for my job and it has made my overall day-to-day work life immensely easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Right now, my biggest frustration is not being able to post multimedia carousels on Instagram. Every time we have a carousel post that includes animated sickers on some slides (making them mp4 files), I have to manually schedule the post in Instagram's app.

Also, sometimes, Sprout can be late to adapt to new social platform features (for example, it took a while to have the option of adding collaborators to Instagram posts). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Sprout Social's social scheduling and analytics. We understand the frustration with the limitations on posting multimedia carousels on Instagram and the delay in adapting to new social platform features. Your feedback is valuable to us and we'll use it to improve our platform.

"A Simple, Reliable, and Cost-Effective Social Media Management Solution"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

What I like best about Sprout Social is that it’s simple, cost-effective, and easy to use. It covers all the key features you need - scheduling, reporting, monitoring, and engagement - without being overly complicated. The customer service is excellent, and the reporting tools are solid. It’s a straightforward, reliable platform that delivers great value for the price and is ideal for most companies that want an efficient, no-fuss social media management solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

There aren’t as many options for customization, especially in reporting, compared to some other tools I’ve used. The integrations are a bit more limited, and the media monitoring isn’t as advanced or in-depth as some competitors. That said, it does exactly what you need it to do for core social management tasks, and the simplicity is part of what makes it so easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your positive comments about Sprout Social's simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and key features. We understand the importance of customization and advanced media monitoring, and we're continuously working to improve and expand our offerings.

"Powerful Platform with Some Frustrating Quirks."
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Having all social media platforms in one central software. I enjoy the reporting snapshots with graphs and tables that I can use in my reports. I also enjoy having the option to provide high-level performance overviews or dive into each platform at a more granular level. I also like having an approval process for my team. There is also sufficient support in the form of articles and guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

-Cannot currently post mixed media to Facebook or Instagram (video and photo).

-Feedback for post rejections needs a larger character limit for adequate instructions.

-Social listening component struggles to identify tone.

-"AI" suggested post times seem very wonky at times, suggesting we post in the middle of the night...

-seem to run into issues where Sprout will compress the image quality on our photos or videos... posting straight to the native platform works fine, but Sprout will reduce the quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

"Great Analytics, But Tagging Limitations Hurt Organic Posting"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

The statistics are excellent and offer valuable insights. Our team relies on them during board meetings and for keeping a comprehensive data archive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

You can't tag posts unless you're posting directly through Sprout, which is a real drawback for content creators who need to publish organically on each platform. Because of this limitation, the tagging system ends up being useless for those situations. Tagging is such a huge part of sprout, so not being able to do this is a huge downfall... "Seamless Integration and Unmatched Reliability for Agencies"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

What I like best about Sprout Social is how seamlessly it integrates with all of our platforms. We manage content for over 120 clients and upload more than 5,000 pieces of content each week, all of which are successfully published without issue. The platform makes it easy to organize assets, maintain brand guidelines, and manage both internal and external approval processes efficiently. It is extremely user friendly, and our entire team found it easy to learn and train on. We have had zero bugs or complaints in the full year we have been using it, which speaks volumes about its reliability and stability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The only downside I would mention is that it can be a bit pricey for agencies. However, considering how much functionality and integration it offers, the value is still absolutely worth it. We have only scratched the surface of its full potential, and there are many additional features and integrations we plan to explore as our team grows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

What I like best about Sprout Social is the ability to schedule posts across multiple platforms for multiple clients — all in one place. As someone who manages several brands, it saves me an incredible amount of time and keeps everything organized. I can plan campaigns in advance, preview how posts will look on each platform, and make adjustments easily. The shared calendar and reporting tools also make collaboration seamless and help me track performance across accounts without having to switch between different apps. It’s truly a one-stop solution for managing social media efficiently and strategically. I use this almost daily for my clients and implementing everything is pretty simple and now I can edit per platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Sprout Social can be a little expensive, especially for small businesses or agencies managing many clients. I also wish the analytics and reporting tools were more customizable — it would be great to tailor reports to include only the specific metrics I want to highlight for each client. "Centralized Social Management, Strategic Posting Made Easy"
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I love using Sprout Social because it allows me to manage multiple social media platforms from one central location, which tremendously simplifies my role. This centralization not only makes my job more efficient but also frees up time for me to engage in more creative work or be out in the field engaging with people, instead of getting bogged down in logistical tasks. The platform enhances strategic posting by making frequent and well-timed social media updates easier. I appreciate the ability to track engagement metrics like impressions, which supports more strategic content dissemination. Engaging with our audience is streamlined through the Smart Inbox feature, effectively organizing interactions and making my work more strategic. Furthermore, the initial setup was incredibly smooth, facilitating quick integration of multiple platforms for immediate use. These capabilities are crucial for enhancing brand engagement and achieving marketing goals across social media, making it an indispensable tool for anyone looking to elevate their social media presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I find the process of tagging people on Instagram and integrating with Reels to be somewhat cumbersome. The integration isn't seamless, particularly when using native Instagram features for video editing, which makes it challenging to keep up with trends. I wish the platform made posting videos easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your experience with Sprout Social. We're glad to hear that our platform has helped you centralize your social media management, track engagement metrics and streamline your interactions with your audience. We understand the importance of seamless integration with Instagram and will continue to work on improving this aspect of our platform.
