"Seamless Platform That Streamlines Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout is very easy to use and presents information in a seamless platform that allows for effective workflow. The built in buttons that can be used to add a link to a response is a huge benefit and eliminates a step of unnecessary work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The only thing I dislike is the frame size of Sprout in Salesforce. It is too small and I wish there was an option to expand the frame to see more information instead of needing to scroll up and down Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad Sprout’s intuitive workflow, built-in link buttons, and in-platform image previews are saving you time. We appreciate your note about the Salesforce frame size and will share it with our team.

"Easy Scheduling and Rich Analytics, with Some Posting Friction"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like that Sprout Social is easy to use and reliable, with great features. I can schedule posts for when we’re off, and the scheduling and best times to post are super easy and help a ton. I also like that performance tracking is well organized and gives me a ton of info, so I can compare how our accounts are doing with our competitors. It’s helpful to have all our links in one place, too. We switched from Hootsuite because Sprout Social has a better scheduling platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

When I post on Instagram, it takes a long time for the post to show up so I can add the link. I also wish I could upload a video once and add different captions for Instagram, X, and YouTube, instead of scheduling it three separate times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thanks for sharing your experience! We’re glad Sprout Social’s scheduling, best-time recommendations, analytics, and link organization are helping your team—and that the platform has been a strong fit since your move from Hootsuite. We appreciate your feedback about Instagram link timing and reusing videos with different captions across networks. We’ll share it with our team.

"Easy Scheduling and Account Switching, but Native Posting Limits Get in the Way"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

What I like best about Sprout Social is having all of our social media accounts and content organized in one place. The publishing calendar makes it easy to plan, review, and manage posts across multiple platforms, As well as being able to share links to clients Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

One of my biggest frustrations is having to publish posts natively when certain platform features aren't fully supported through Sprout Social. For example, there are limitations on the number of accounts you can tag or photos you can include in a post, which means I sometimes have to work outside of Sprout to get the content published correctly. This adds extra steps to the workflow and makes it harder to manage everything in one place. The Network Preview feature could also be improved, as previews don't always accurately reflect how content will appear on each platform due to compatibility limitations. Additionally, when duplicating a post, I would like the original scheduled date to automatically carry over. If I duplicate a post to use for the same day, having to reselect the date each time is an unnecessary extra step, and forgetting to do so causes the post to default to drafts instead of remaining scheduled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad Sprout helps you organize client accounts, plan content, and collaborate through shareable links. We understand that unsupported native features, preview inconsistencies, and the extra steps when duplicating scheduled posts can disrupt your workflow. We’ll share these suggestions with our team as we continue improving publishing and scheduling.

"Easy Social Scheduling and Insightful Analytics, with Some Posting Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I use Sprout Social to schedule and post to social media, including when I can’t use my native platforms, and I like having analytics all in one place. It’s user-friendly to find and share analytics, and I use the tools for weekly and monthly reporting to my internal team and executives. I love the tagging system because it helps me get the most insights out of my posts. Trellis lets me ask it anything and find insights using the data and context of my posts, which helps give me personalized answers. I also like the publishing feature, especially being able to customize posts by network, and I enjoy the best times to post feature. The initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I don’t use the Smart Inbox because it’s hard to track who is saying what, and I feel like I’m missing context from conversations. I worry it could send a message to the wrong person, so I’d rather use the native inboxes on each platform. Our Instagram also disconnects frequently, and posts fail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thanks for sharing such thoughtful feedback! We’re glad Sprout helps you schedule across networks, customize posts, and bring your analytics together for clear weekly and monthly reporting. It’s great to hear tagging, Trellis, and best-time recommendations are useful, too. We’re sorry the Smart Inbox feels difficult to follow and that Instagram disconnects and failed posts have disrupted your workflow. Please contact our support team with examples so we can help investigate.

"Feature-Rich Scheduling and Smart Tagging That Make Social Planning Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I love how many features it has. We recently got Sprout Social so I definitely haven't explored everything, but I love being able to set up tags for different posts, and compare how they do on each platform using Trellis. I absolutely love how scheduling works - being able to optimize with each platform makes it really helpful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I don't necessarily dislike it, but something I like less about Sprout Social is when you're in the calendar mode and you have lots of different posts scheduled out, it takes forever to scroll through everything. And instead of having a clean scroll from month to month, I don't like that you have to manually click to the next month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thanks for sharing your experience! We’re glad Sprout Social’s scheduling, platform-specific optimization, tagging, and approval workflows are helping your team collaborate and save time. We appreciate your feedback about navigating a busy calendar and moving between months, and we’ll share it with our team.

"Great for Scheduling and Metrics, But Lacks Some IG Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like how easy it is to schedule posts and make sure they go out at the best times for engagement. The analytics are super helpful too—they give clear insights into what’s working and what’s not, so it’s easy to adjust our strategy. Plus, the platform is really intuitive and user-friendly. Even if you’re new to social tools, it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Overall, it saves a ton of time and makes managing social accounts way less cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

One drawback is that you can’t view metrics for Instagram collaboration posts published by collaborators, which makes it harder to get a full picture of performance. Another challenge is that Sprout’s analytics sometimes differ from what you see in the native apps (for example, it doesn’t count IG likes as part of interactions), so we have to supplement the Sprout data with data pulled manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with scheduling and analytics. We understand your concerns about Instagram insights and are continuously working to enhance our platform's capabilities.

"Streamlines Publishing and Reporting, But Listening Has Its Limitations"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like Sprout Social’s user-friendly platform and how easy it is to get in touch with support. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. I appreciate that it brings different parts of social media management together in one place and lets me publish across channels, duplicate posts, and report without going into each platform. Publishing, reporting, and advocacy are the features I use most. I find the reporting clean and customizable: I can view data by post or profile, compare multiple profiles, and choose date ranges and comparisons beyond just this week versus last week. I find the viral post integration and seeing which times work best with our audience really useful. I also see value in tagging content and data, and the smart inbox offers some value. I like being able to link lots of profiles, and I appreciate that Sprout Social is becoming more integrated with different tech platforms. Trellis is built in, though I’m still learning how to use it. I also like the additional opportunities for customers, like Arboretum and the Breaking Ground webinars. I think setup was pretty smooth, and setting up listening and advocacy was simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I’ve noticed a good number of glitches. Sometimes something won’t show up on the publication calendar, or the tool freezes and won’t let me go back or forward. Listening is where I see the most room for improvement. The dashboards don’t give me useful information about themes and topics, and I can’t really tell the difference between the views. I know some of that is related to the channel APIs, but I don’t feel I’m getting much value from listening, especially for the price. I’d like it to take the data further and offer content recommendations. With employee advocacy, when I link a LinkedIn carousel, it only shows our logo instead of a thumbnail, and I can’t change it. That’s annoying, and I think it affects the user experience because employees may not realize it’s a post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad Sprout Social helps bring publishing, reporting, and advocacy together, and that our support team and customer programs have been valuable. We’re sorry about the glitches, the listening experience, and the LinkedIn carousel thumbnail issue. We appreciate your candid suggestions for more useful insights and content recommendations, and we’ll share them with our teams.

"Sprout is the all-in-one social solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout Social has quickly become one of my favorite tools at work thanks to its intuitive and user-friendly design. Managing multiple accounts is straightforward and never feels overwhelming, which is a huge plus. I particularly value the detailed scheduling options, as they allow me to control the timing and strategy of my posts while remaining easy to use. Whether I’m planning content weeks ahead or making last-minute changes, Sprout Social keeps me organized and efficient.

In addition to scheduling, the platform’s reporting features and Smart Inbox really distinguish Sprout Social. The reporting delivers clear, comprehensive insights that make it simple to track performance and share results with my team. The Smart Inbox consolidates all messages into a single, streamlined view, ensuring I never miss an important interaction. Altogether, these features save me time, offer valuable data, and make managing social media both simpler and more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

While Sprout Social provides many valuable features, there are a few areas where I believe it could be enhanced. The social listening tools, for instance, seem unnecessarily complex and can be challenging to navigate. Rather than offering a quick overview of social sentiment and brand health, the interface is so busy that it becomes difficult to quickly locate the insights I’m looking for. A more straightforward and streamlined dashboard would make it much easier to spot trends at a glance, allowing for deeper analysis only when needed.

I also encounter some difficulties with the approval process in my department. When I send posts to our internal communications manager for review, her only options are to approve or reject them. It would be extremely useful if she could make minor edits directly and then save the post as a draft for me to review and finalize. This change would save us both time and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth. Overall, Sprout Social is a solid platform, but these adjustments would make it even more efficient and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Convenient Post Scheduling, Frustrating Account Issues"
4/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I don't feel strongly about Sprout Social, but I use it to schedule multiple posts across my company's social media accounts over a long period, rather than having to use my phone or the different social media apps in a web browser. It also has analytics reports, though I haven't used them very much. Getting set up was pretty easy: I just logged in with SSO, and everything was already set up for me. I'd use Sprout Social for my own social media if I could afford it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I dislike that Sprout Social logs me out every time I use it, so I have to log back in. Basic features can also be hard to access. I haven't been able to reconnect our LinkedIn account for the last two or three weeks, and it's a hassle to do such a basic task. I also have to use Instagram's app to post a story that looks good and like a real person posted it, because some features available natively aren't available in Sprout Social. I would use Sprout Social for my own social media, but I can't afford it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We appreciate your candid feedback. It’s great to hear that scheduling across your company’s social accounts and getting started with SSO have been helpful. We understand how frustrating frequent logouts, difficulty reconnecting LinkedIn, and limitations with Instagram Stories can be. We’ll share your comments with our product team, and our support team can assist with the LinkedIn issue.
