This is a rare occurance, but it does happen. Sometimes it is for the better because of the extra amenities that are provided. **Recommendations to others considering Tripadvisor for Business:** Be specific in what you are looking for and be open minded to other "out of the box" ideas. **What problems is Tripadvisor for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we have a conference or a remote event and are not looking to stay or spend top dollar for the selected location, TripAdvisor has been able provide less expensive alternates. ### 2. After the initial shock burst subsides, it's displayed well for a potential customer. The software works cleanly to view and gather info. When you research the locations, the different media is beneficial. The media shows a "live" feeling like I've been there before. The virtual assistant on the TA-B site works great for simple questions. **What do you dislike about Tripadvisor for Business?** The identity verification is flawed. It erroneously uses the phone number of your most recent search query. So if they require your identification verified by phone number, you are out of luck. The box showing the number is a drag-down type you can't edit. Sent an email regarding this bug, still waiting for a reply. **Recommendations to others considering Tripadvisor for Business:** Due diligence! Homework is always a hassle, no matter what age. The less negative outcome is obtained by contacting existing TA-B clients and getting their likes and dislikes. Don't just read the reviews because the latest gossip floating around is a percentage of reviews are fake. So even if that's fake itself, homework pays off. **What problems is Tripadvisor for Business solving and how is that benefiting you?** The identity verification is flawed because it stored the last number I used for a travel search. At that point, I couldn't continue and only used the site for data collection. If I need to see the location and any other related info, Tripadvisor works perfectly. I disregard the comments, reviews, and recommendations because of the sad fact that people always need more money. This need skews the written data and makes a two-star visit become a four. In conclusion, I use it as a "pre-travel" tool and contact locations in other ways. I haven't checked but I hope that Tripadvisor creates a task force that addresses issues big and small. ### 3.
