The real time stats are very helpful in setting our social strategy. The stats also allow us to set quantitative goals for our social team by being able to compare previous months and year. Also, the brand narrative and social mentions help keep us in tune with what is going on with our brand. A quick glance a few times per day can help us know the tone of the conversation on all social platforms. This helps us set some strategy for other things we do. I love how easy Sprout makes scheduling content and reporting analytics. Reports that used to take days or weeks can now be done in a few clicks. Sprout has wide intergaration and can pull metrics for most major social media platforms, so we can generally find the data that are useful for our senior leadership teams. The only thing I can think of is that it can be difficult to tag people and pages through Sprout Social and I often have to do that manually. I like having all my accounts in one platform for scheduling posts and reviewing analytics. The AI alt-text feature is fantastic. Location tagging used to work better, so I don’t really bother with that feature anymore. Support also used to be better when you could chat with an agent; now you only get an email response, so it takes much longer to resolve issues. Overall, I’m happy with the performance of Sprout, and it rarely fails to post. It’s also very user-friendly. Sprout is pricey but it helps run all my accounts. I really enjoy the fact that sprout sends an alert when someone posts something to your Google or yelp profile. This way i don’t have to continually hit the refresh button on my browser to check for new comments. What do you dislike about Sprout Social? Sprouts rating system doesn’t make any sense. For example, even though i’ve got ten great reviews, as soon as i get one negative review, the needle drops. Another thing i’d like to be improved upon would be having better pre-written responses to frequently asked questions. The platform is very intuitive, and easy to navigate even though the onboarding. I love option for bulk scheduling, but I wish there were option to include video. Posts wouldn't go out, warnings about potential issues with uploading were missing, and some functions didn't save properly. For instance, I removed boosting from a post, but it still received a $1 boost on Meta. There were many issues, but due to my busy schedule, I didn't have time to report all of them. I like Sprout Social because it's intuitive, fast, and packed with features. Managing our social media accounts in one location is efficient and ensures nothing gets missed, which is crucial since we manage several portfolios across the country. The feature that reports on what our competitors are doing on social media is particularly impressive, as well as the stats for our own posts at a glance. It's nice to know if we're beating our competitors on social media and if we're posting the right kinds of content, and what might be working for our competitors versus us.
