# How do I show it is recording during live Zooms?

Does it have a pop-up dialog box for participant approval?

There are a number of different options to choose from, from pre-authorisation emails to each guest, to the recorder being very evident to a participant, to a header banner being displayed.  You can configure what you want.

You can choose to show it as a participant or you can hide it as a non-video participant.

I believe it was a setting at initial sign in. I remember thinking I should turn it off, but figured I didn't want to forget myself, so I left it on 🍻

Fathom app comes in as a guest to the meetings and clearly says it is recording.

A popup marked FATHOM and listing your pre-selected highlight options will appear next to the zoom window.  It can be repositioned if you wish.

You can go into your Fathom Dashboard and see all the recorded Zoom calls, and you can get a unique link to the call you can share.

When I use Fathom as a Zoom App, it shows up automatically on all Zooms I set up.  I have to let it into the meeting, and a box that says "Fathom is recording" for all to see.  So far, no issues with it.
