# Most recommended data room software in tech industry

 Hey G2! I want to start a discussion with the software experts in the virtual data room software community. What is the most recommended data room software in the tech industry? Looking at the different VDR software solutions on G2’s category page, I’ve narrowed my top software choices to: iDeals Virtual Data Room, Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room, and Ansarada. My full software list based on recent G2 reviews is below:  1. iDeals Virtual Data Room  Known for its intuitive UX, transparent pricing, and eight-tier permission control, iDeals is built for fast setups in fast-paced tech deals. Can you batch-adjust permissions or lock specific file versions post-upload when teams iterate on technical assets in iDeals?  2. Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room  Recognized for real-time activity tracking and AI-powered redaction, Datasite is perfect for startups that need to navigate M&A or fundraising quickly. Can Datasite flag access by unfamiliar parties in real time and auto-redact PII across uploaded datasets?  3. Ansarada  Best known for its AI bidder engagement scoring and transparency tools, Ansarada helps tech organizations efficiently prioritize serious deal interest. Can Ansarada flag high-value potential buyer activity in real time?  4. Firmex Virtual Data Room  Firmex is well-known for being scalable with easy setup, smart compliance, and strong support, making it ideal for growing tech firms handling sensitive IP or onboarding. Does anyone know if Firmex offers detailed audit logs and watermarking tailored for technical documentation?  5. Digify  Praised for being very startup-friendly, offering sleek document tracking, protection controls, and ease of use, Digify is great for teams protecting early-stage IP. Is it possible to use Digify to automatically notify you when external collaborators download or access documents multiple times?  6. Clinked  Loved for its branded portal look and seamless file collaboration, Clinked gives teams a polished, client-ready workspace. Does Clinked support dynamic branding per project?
