Fathom is excellent at identifying the key points during meetings. Since our company often has unstructured meetings, I appreciate how well it captures what truly matters. I also find the reminder to "start recording" at the beginning of each meeting very helpful. Overall, Fathom provides a thorough recap, reliable recording, accurate transcription, and a useful action list, regardless of the meeting style or type. Some of the features are not particularly relevant to my needs. For instance, the option to create teams and automatically send out meeting recaps does not fit well with my role as an executive assistant at a smaller manufacturing company. I often meet with various departments and need to share meeting details only with the appropriate individuals. It's important to me that high-level information is not accessible to just anyone. The notes offered by Fathom are great! They somehow leave out the social banter and only record the essential notes and action items. I like that it does attempt to indicate specific action items and responsible parties. I also like the live coaching features that will tell me when I'm monologuing. The set-up process was relatively easy, though there was a minor bump or two in figuring out how to configure settings to do what I wanted with the resulting products. Been using Fathom for a few days, amongst other note-takers. What I like most about it, is the ability to customize the meeting notes based on different audiences - Sales MEDDIC internal, Sales, QA, Demo, Product Update. Not every meeting has the same agenda and purpose, and this helps me get the right summary. Second thing is integration with Hubspot, to push the meeting notes there directly. I've tried a couple of different meeting notetakers, and Fathom is by far my favorite. The notes, action items are spot-on. With the premium service, I appreciate that you can jump directly to an exact moment in the notes, rather than trying to find it yourself in the replay. The AI-generated summaries are usually very accurate, and when combined with the meeting recordings and transcript, they provide comprehensive coverage of everything discussed. There are several things I like about Fathom for recording live sessions. First, I like that it is easy to copy the link from the Fathom site and put it into my personal website. Secondly, my students love the transcript feature so they don't have to watch the whole recording to find pieces of information they may have missed in the live online class.
