## Fathom Reviews
 ### 1. Fathom Makes Meeting Recaps Effortless with Reliable Notes, Transcripts, and Calendar Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I appreciate that Fathom syncs with my google calendar and allows me to launch meetings directly from the desktop App and the Key Takeaways, Topics, and Next Steps auto-generated by Fathom have helped streamline meeting recap note compilation. Having a reliable video recording/transcript available to reference right after a meeting has been extremely helpful in clearing up meeting ambiguity and possible missed or overlooked information. I have used Fathom for 10 meetings and its consistent performance and data integrity has been reliable. The simple, easy to use interface on the desktop app lets me quickly see what meetings I have scheduled and it also allows me to join them quickly. Finally, after my experience with other apps similar to Fathom, the free version has exceeded my expectations and meets almost all of my needs.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The expanded view when watching video recordings. I use chrome at an 80% zoom. From the regular and full-screen view, it is possible to select the other 2 views (regular or full-screen). However, when I am using the expanded view, I either have to zoom in or hide my taskbar to change views. Not a big issue, but I have had less technical members of my team complain that they "Can't exit the view" and they reload the page to get out of it...

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting recaps. I used to have to take live notes to capture topics and actionables. Often times, I have had to ask meeting participants to repeat what they said or to revisit topics to ensure that I captured everything correctly. That is no longer an issue. The Fathom App has saved so much time and prevented an immeasurable amount of wasted effort. It is also very useful when helping team members catch-up on topics and tasks covered during meetings they may have missed or verifying conflicting recounts of what was said or assigned.

 ### 2. The best AI assistant I've tried: superior to Otter, tl;dv, and Notion.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vladislav M. | Cofundador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

As a consultant managing multiple clients simultaneously, Fathom has become indispensable. What I highlight the most is its ability to ensure I don't miss a single detail from the sessions. I've tried practically everything on the market: Otter.ai, tl;dv, and even Notion's recorder, and Fathom wins by far. Its AI is, by far, the most accurate in defining new tasks and capturing the essence of the conversation.

It is, without a doubt, the best assistant on the market.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I really have very little to complain about. If I had to mention something, it would be the lack of a direct native connection with Monday.com. Currently, I solve it by combining it with a bit of external automation (OpenClaw), but if they integrated Monday natively, the workflow would be perfect.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve the problem of "information overload" and the time wasted on post-meeting administrative tasks. It benefits me greatly in collaborative work: I can send accurate summaries to my clients and team immediately. The precision of its AI in extracting action items saves me hours of manual writing and ensures that we are all aligned after each video call.

 ### 3. Keyword Search That Pinpoints Moments, Plus Excellent Post-Meeting Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin H. | Strategic Partnerships Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that I can search through past meetings for specific keywords and that it actually finds the exact point in the meeting where those topics were discussed. I also really enjoy the comprehensive summary it provides after each call or meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I honestly do not see any downsides here yet -

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom is taking my meetings and calls, transcribing them, then storing that data to call upon at any point in the future - that is saving our company hundreds of hours potentially losing precious meeting recordings to another service who can't do what Fathom can!

 ### 4. Effortless Meeting Prep with Seamless Zoom & Google Meet Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derwin V. | Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really love how the app automatically prepares me for my next meeting. The initial setup is very easy, and you honestly don’t have to do anything else as long as the app is installed. The support I received when I needed it was amazing, they gave me exactly what I needed. I use it daily and it never fails. Even though the number of features depends on the plan, the purpose of the app is great, and it integrates perfectly with the tools we use, like Zoom or Google Meet.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There isn’t much I don’t like about Fathom. It’s basically a perfect app for its purpose, and it really does its job well. The only thing I’m not that fond of is the “Ask Fathom” option. For some reason, it doesn’t feel very intuitive to me, and it doesn’t seem that smart, although overall it still works fine.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes can be really annoying a lot of the time, and sometimes I just want to focus on the meeting. Having a notetaker running in the background is amazing, especially when there’s a lot to follow up on afterward.

 ### 5. Fathom Makes It Easy to Stay Focused and Review Key Points Later

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like best about Fathom is that I don't have to keep taking notes during online classes or project discussions. I can focus on what's being said and check the summary later if I forget something. I've used it a few times when working on assignments and it was helpful to quickly find points from earlier meetings instead of going through the full recording. It saves time and makes it easier to keep track of discussions.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

One thing I dislike about Fathom is that it feels more leaned toward office meetings than online classes or student project work. Because of that, some features aren't that useful for me. I've also noticed that the AI summaries can miss smaller details when the discussion moves quickly between topics. It's usually not a big problem, but I still check the transcript sometimes just to make sure I didn't miss anything important

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps me avoid taking notes while attending online classes, project discussions, and study meetings. Instead of trying to keep up with both listening and writing, I can focus on the conversation and go through the summary afterward. The transcripts are also useful when I need to revisit something important without watching the entire recording again. It has saved me a good amount of time and made it easier to stay organized with assignments and group work.

 ### 6. AI Live Transcription Keeps Meetings Focused Across Languages

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric A. | Mananging Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The AI live transcription helps me stay present and focused in meetings regardless of what language is being spoken. Its easy to use and teach new team members how to install and use.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes the transcriptions mislabel who’s speaking, or even the person being talked about. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, though more of a minor nitpick than anything.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes during meetings helps me stay more focused and present with my clients. It lets me put more attention on the relationship and the conversation, while also taking one more busy task off my plate.

 ### 7. Fathom Makes Meeting Notes Easy with Clear Recordings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soumahila D. | Compliance Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It's very helpful to take notes during the meetings. t gives opportunities to come back to record and catch what we probably missed during the meeting with good sound and video qualities.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honnestly I didn't noted something I dislike since I'm using Fathom. Maybe the procedure of featuring with others application before using it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'll just take you back to the first question. But in another words, it's benefiting me a lot because it gives me opportunity to save time and be entirely concentrated on the meeting. I don't scare because Fathom is doing the job for me: taking notes and other aspects of the meeting.

 ### 8. Intuitive, Seamless Meeting Recording with Instant Recaps—Fathom Delivers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J W. | Sr. Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

genuinely love using Fathom because of how intuitive and user‑friendly the platform is. When integrated with Microsoft Teams and Zoom, it seamlessly notifies me of upcoming scheduled meetings and automatically begins recording as soon as I join, which eliminates any extra steps or manual setup. One of Fathom’s standout features is the speed of its meeting recaps; they’re delivered almost immediately after the meeting ends, which is a huge improvement compared to similar platforms I’ve used in the past.
The value of Fathom’s free features is impressive, and the Ask Fathom AI tool is particularly efficient and helpful for quickly pulling insights and action items from meetings. Because of my positive experience, I’ve already recommended Fathom to others within my organization. I would absolutely continue using and advocating for the platform, and I would not hesitate to utilize its paid enterprise or business features should I move to an organization that is able to invest in a subscription.
Customer support has also been top-notch with troubleshooting a minor integration issue. I use Fathom almost daily for my scheduled meetings, especially interviews to create transcripts and track action items. Absolutely wonderful tool!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

no downsides to note. I have enjoyed using the platform for the past month.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of capturing and sharing candidate interview details accurately without distracting from the conversation. Its automatic recordings and fast, reliable transcripts allow hiring teams to review interviews asynchronously, align on candidate evaluations, and make informed decisions; saving time while improving consistency and collaboration in the hiring process.

 ### 9. Accurate, Helpful Meeting Notes—And Free to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nixie Mae B. | Digital Marketing Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The note-taking is accurate and really helpful for my meetings with clients. It’s also free to use, unlike other apps/tools that only offer a limited time before asking for a subscription. That’s why I can recommend this to my friends—because of its free features.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

For now, I don't have experience of downside about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me record and summarize the tasks my clients ask me to do, which really benefits me because there were times when I forgot what we discussed. Using a note-taking AI is a huge help, and it comes for free.

 ### 10. Fathom Eliminates Manual Note-Taking and Keeps Notes Easy to Revisit

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam H. | Operations Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

No manual note-taking is needed, which means I don’t make mistakes, and I can refer back to my notes at a later date.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I don’t have any dislikes when using Fathom. It works the way I need it to, and it does what I expect for my use.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps solve the problem of inefficient and unreliable meeting documentation. In many meetings, people either spend time taking notes (and end up missing parts of the conversation) or rely on memory afterward, which can lead to missed details, unclear action items, and weak follow-ups.

Fathom addresses this by automatically recording, transcribing, and summarising meetings, while also highlighting key points and action items in real time.

For me, this is valuable because it lets me stay fully engaged in the conversation instead of multitasking with note-taking. It also ensures nothing important is missed, since everything is captured and searchable. On top of that, it saves time on post-meeting admin by providing instant summaries and clear action points, and it improves follow-ups and accountability by keeping accurate records of decisions.

Overall, it increases productivity, reduces manual work, and helps turn meetings into clear, actionable outcomes.

 ### 11. Highly Customizable Auto-Recording That Keeps Me Fully Present in Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gen H. | Billing & Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The level of customization makes this a perfect tool no matter my role or industry, and the auto-record feature means I never forget to record a meeting. I don’t have to take notes anymore; I can simply be present during the conversation. Best of all, I can highlight key moments, add items to my to-do list, and categorize specific parts of the discussion in whatever way works best for me.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I’d really love it if this could integrate with my calendar, planner, or task list, so I can add items directly to my to-do list.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Never forgetting to transcribe a meeting, never having to page through notebooks to track down notes from a specific meeting, and being able to simply stay present in the conversation—this has been a massive time-saver and stress reducer, and it genuinely makes me better at my job.

 ### 12. Actionable Checklists, Replays, and Transcripts—A 10/10 Note-Taking App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I think my favorite part is definitely the action items being in the form of an actionable checklist that I can click on when it gets sent to my email. This specific feature is exactly one of the reasons why I chose to use fathom. It's so great that Claude recommended it over other note-taking apps. I can easily watch the replay and get the transcript and although I haven't used the AI feature yet, I'm pretty sure it's really cool.

I think anyone who likes to be as organized and probably has a little bit of OCD like me should absolutely go with this note taker. Also something worth mentioning is that it has little to no errors with action items and takeaways, which is a struggle that I've had with other note-taking apps. Really great product

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly there's nothing to dislike. 10/10 note-taking app!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting proper action items, I get my recap really fast, unlike other note-taking apps, and it's really easy to add to impromptu meetings

 ### 13. Best-in-Class AI Meeting Transcription with Effortless Zoom Recaps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raymond F. | Provider Success Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom turns what would otherwise be a slog of daily meetings into actionable, task-driven recaps. The AI transcription is the best I've seen to date, and not only catches the small details but ensures that everyone on the meeting has what they need to know. By integrating it into Zoom you don't even have to think about it - just add the notetaker to your call and get the recap delivered to your inbox. The desktop app is non-obtrusive and sits quietly in the corner of your screen with all functions accessible.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Getting permissions setup across multiple accounts can be a bit of a chore, as well as occasional hiccups when attending meetings outside your professional network. Support is quick to respond with to questions asked though, so not a massive hit.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom allows me to be fully present in the moment with every meeting and call, without feeling like I need to be constantly taking notes or putting together after-action reports. It's the App with the performance of both a stenographer and a videographer.

 ### 14. Excellent, Non-Intrusive Meeting Notes with Timestamp Links and HubSpot Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** liam b. | Head of CX & People, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that its quietly there when you need it to be but its not trying to be the main charachter. It's not invasive like some other ai meeting products i've tried in the past where they start meetings before you're ready or send out emails continually reminding people about the meeting.
The quality of the meeting notes and follow up points are excellent. I can fully focus on my meeting and what I and the other patricipants are saying, and have full faith that i'll be able to refer to my fathom notes for any follow up points. I LOVE that the meeting notes are hyperlinked to the timestamps in the recording too. this is fantastic for reviewing complex points that have been discussed. I also like that it integrates with Hubspot so i can always see what the last meeting with a client was whether it was me or anyone else on my team that hosted it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside is that fathom has to join as a participant in the meeting, and if multiple colleagues join who also use fathom we end up with multiple note takers on the call but this feels like a small trade-off for the benifits we get.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can fully focus on my meeting and give my clients my full attention rather than trying to jot down notes from our calls.

**Official Response from Alyssa Edelman:**

> We heard you - bot-free capture is now live! No extra participants, just great notes. Check out everything that's new here: https://www.fathom.ai/whats-new 🎉

 ### 15. Fathom Saves Time with Clear Summaries and Seamless HubSpot Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thanish N. | Service Delivery Specialist - GEEKS, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom really helps me stay on top of meetings without worrying about taking notes. It captures everything clearly and gives simple, useful summaries, which makes follow-ups much easier. I also use the HubSpot integration, and it’s very helpful since it keeps everything updated automatically in our CRM. The pricing is also very good for the value it provides. Overall, it saves time and makes my workflow much smoother.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, nothing so far. It’s been working really well for my use case.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of missing details in meetings and spending time on manual note-taking. It automatically captures and summarizes everything, which helps me stay focused during calls. It makes follow-ups much easier, keeps things organized, and with the HubSpot integration, all updates go straight into the CRM. Overall, it saves time and improves how I manage tasks after meetings.

 ### 16. Fathom’s Structured Notes Keep Me Focused and Make Follow-Ups Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom’s note taking has been a huge help for me. It does an excellent job of capturing meetings clearly and organizing everything in a way that is easy to review afterward. The notes are structured really well, so I can quickly understand what was discussed, what feedback was shared, and what action items need attention.

One of the biggest upsides is that I do not have to spend meetings trying to take my own notes. Instead, I can stay fully focused on the conversation, listen more closely, and be more present in the meeting itself. That has made a real difference. Overall, it has saved me time, reduced stress, and made follow up much easier.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing that I can see yet...I dont have issues

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom is solving a real problem for me because it is genuinely hard to take notes and stay fully focused on a meeting at the same time. As a small business owner, I wear a lot of hats, and I do not have the luxury of having someone else in the room capturing notes, tracking action items, and organizing follow up for me. Before using Fathom, part of my attention was always split between listening carefully and trying to document everything, which meant I was not always as present as I wanted to be. Fathom takes that pressure off. It allows me to stay engaged in the conversation, ask better questions, and actually listen, while still knowing I will have clear, organized notes afterward. That has been a huge benefit because it saves me time, reduces stress, and helps me leave meetings with a much stronger sense of clarity about what was said and what needs to happen next.

 ### 17. Fathom + HubSpot Recaps and Auto-Tasks Make Virtual Meetings Run Smoother

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle U. | Partner Success Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I meet with a lot of people and talk about similar topics. I like the recap and we have Fathom integrated with HubSpot. It creates tasks for me based on the meeting notes. The live data that it shares regarding talking time is helpful to keep in mind. Fathom has made me a better vitual meeting organizer.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes the tasks it creates in Hubspot need some tweaking but I would rather edit a task than worry it was missing something.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It assures me that the data I collected is correct and the follow-up items that I promised, will be documented. A lot of my conversations are around numbers and with Fathom, I always get the right information to reference back to. I can also send the recording to my clients so they know exactly what was covered.

 ### 18. Fathom Transformed Client Meetings with Accurate Summaries and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SILVESTRE C. | FullStack Developer, University Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has transformed how I run client discovery meetings. The AI-generated summaries and automatic action item detection save me at least 30–45 minutes per meeting — I no longer spend time writing notes
or chasing follow-ups. The transcripts are remarkably accurate even in Spanish and with mixed-language conversations, which is critical for my work in LATAM.

The UI is clean and intuitive — I was up and running the same day with zero onboarding friction. The meeting highlights feature was an unexpected win: I can share a timestamped clip directly with clients
to confirm what was agreed, which has eliminated the "but we said X" back-and-forth entirely.

It integrates seamlessly with Google Meet and the recordings are instantly available after the call. For the price, the ROI is undeniable — it essentially pays for itself the first time it saves you from a
miscommunication with a client.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside I experienced was with the Windows app, but they’ve really improved it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Fathom, my biggest issue was losing context. After a busy week of client meetings, important details would slip through the cracks, and I’d end up relying on incomplete notes or my memory to piece together what we’d agreed on. That’s a real risk when you’re managing multiple projects at the same time.

Fathom fixes this for me. Every discovery session, requirements meeting, and client call is automatically recorded, transcribed, and summarized, and I can search any conversation again in seconds. The AI also pulls out action items that map directly to my follow-up tasks, so nothing gets missed.

The biggest benefit has been client trust. When there’s any ambiguity around scope or agreements, I can pull up the exact transcript or a clip and resolve it immediately. In consulting and software development, that kind of documentation is invaluable. It’s also made onboarding new team members much easier, since they can review past client calls to get up to speed without me having to brief them manually.

 ### 19. Smart, User-Friendly Meeting Assistant with Top-Notch Transcripts and Action Items

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The user interface is very well put together and not over informative.

I love that it records the audio and key points of the video.

The actions items list is an excellent feature

The Key Takeaways, Topics, and Next Steps section is awesome is incredibly helpful. It almost does all of the work for you! I'm surprised little Fathom robot hands don't come out to give you a foot massage, while being your own personal assistant.

The section listing my questions and other questions is an excellent reminder of what to follow-up on.

The integration of Teams makes it a great tool to organize my day.

The overall performance is top-notch. The speech recognition is great! It recognizes my southern accent so much better than the stupid robots that can't understand me on the phone when I ask to speak to a real person.

Pricing is certainly competitive and reasonable.

The customer support has been excellent!

It's also one of the smartest tools I've used. I really wish I would have had it decades ago.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I had issues a couple of times where it wouldn't open the meeting. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My memory sucks and it makes me look like I'm a memory genius!

 ### 20. Fathom Makes Meetings Effortless with Clear Summaries, Action Items, and Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like best about Fathom is how smoothly it fits into my meeting workflow. I have been using it for both internal and client meetings, and it saves a lot of time by automatically capturing clear transcripts, summaries, action items, takeaways, and key topics discussed.
The UI is easy to navigate, so I can quickly find recordings, review meeting notes, and share them with others when needed. I also like that the summaries are structured well, especially the way action items and next steps are assigned to specific people. That makes follow-up much easier after meetings.
From an integration standpoint, Fathom has worked well with tools like Microsoft Teams and Confluence, which makes it easy to connect meeting insights with our existing documentation and collaboration process. I have not run into any major performance issues so far, and the recordings and transcripts have been reliable.
The AI is one of the strongest parts of the tool. It does more than just transcribe the conversation; it understands the discussion well enough to organize notes into useful sections like action items, decisions, takeaways, and topics addressed in detail. I especially like that it can identify next steps and associate them with the right people, which makes the output immediately useful instead of just being a raw transcript.
Overall, Fathom provides strong value because it reduces manual note-taking, improves meeting follow-through, and helps keep everyone aligned after internal and client discussions.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of having to manually take detailed notes during meetings while also trying to actively participate in the conversation. I use it for both internal and client meetings, and it helps me stay focused on the discussion instead of worrying about capturing every important point.

It also solves the issue of missed follow-ups. The AI-generated summaries clearly capture action items, takeaways, key topics discussed, and next steps assigned to specific people. This makes it much easier to track ownership and follow through after the meeting.

Another major benefit is that recordings and transcripts are easy to access, navigate, and share. This is helpful when I need to revisit a client conversation, confirm a decision, or share context with someone who could not attend the meeting.

Overall, Fathom saves time, improves accountability, keeps meeting documentation organized, and helps ensure internal and client discussions turn into clear next steps.

 ### 21. Three weeks in and I'm a fan - Recorded Calls, Instant Minutes, Seamless HubSpot Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randy F. | VP Strategic Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like the fact that the video conference is recorded and the meeting minutes and actions are extracted all sent to me right after the call and then our HubSpot CRM is automatically updated also. First time I heard of Fathom was only a few weeks ago when a friend invited me in to help with some business development for his new venture but I would recommend it whole heartedly.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

So far, there is no downside after three weeks of use. The control pane that pops up as soon as Fathom starts addresses some of the pain points I have had with similar solutions.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auto minutes, actions, and auto CRM updates are my minimum expectations in the current age, and Fathom addresses them succinctly.

 ### 22. Fast, High-Quality Summaries in One Easy Page—Best AI Notetaker

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love that it has the video, key takeaways, summary, and transcript all on one, easy to navigate, page. The quality of the summaries is really good. It's also amazing (everytime!) how FAST it is. I love that I can share the links with others, so they can review, and I can refresh myself on calls. The "Ask Fathom" feature is also amazing. It's the best AI Notetaker on the market today.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I am not sure sometimes that it is ON, but I click through on the app, and can see it quietly working. I haven't "missed" recording a meeting yet! I also feel like the branding is hyper masculine--not the biggest deal, but something I observed.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom reminds me of past calls so I can look like the person who remembers everything when I speak to a client again!

 ### 23. Amazing Premium Features, Unlimited Recording, and Helpful Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The premium features are amazing, but what I like best is that its free account still serve its functions though at a "less amazing"ways. But still it is very functional and works very well with me. I have already recommended it to my colleagues. I like the unlimited recording and the summary it can generate.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing actually. I had a bit of a struggle with the recording after the premium trial but was able to figure it out eventually. All good. However, I think there is room for improvement on the layout of the page showing the video and the summary underneath it. I can't scroll and see enough lines for me to read continuously. Improvement is welcome, but no big deal really.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom is giving me the recordings and summary I need during meetings. It definitely takes a load off taking notes and writing the minutes. especially at no cost.

 ### 24. Fathom AI Notetaker: Accurate Bilingual Summaries That Turn Meetings into Action

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Carlos C. | Business Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

As a bilingual business consultant working closely with Latino entrepreneurs in Chicago, **Fathom AI Notetaker has become one of the most valuable tools in my daily workflow**. It feels less like a meeting recorder and more like having a smart executive assistant in every call.

First, the **automatic meeting summaries and action items are incredibly accurate**. Whether I’m meeting with small business owners, city partners, or corporate sponsors, Fathom captures the key decisions and next steps so I can stay fully engaged in the conversation instead of worrying about notes.

Another standout feature is how **easily I can share clips and summaries with partners and stakeholders**. After a meeting, I can quickly send the relevant insights to colleagues or business owners, saving time and ensuring everyone stays aligned.

For someone supporting a **Latin Chamber of Commerce in a fast-moving market like Chicago**, efficiency and clarity are everything. Fathom helps me manage multiple meetings, follow-ups, and partnerships without losing track of important details.

Simply put, **Fathom AI Notetaker turns meetings into organized, actionable outcomes**. If you work in consulting, economic development, or community business support—especially in a bilingual environment—this tool is a game changer. I can confidently give it a **10/10 recommendation**.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It would be great if there were a special price for professionals working at nonprofits that support underprivileged communities.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What really sets it apart for my work is how seamlessly it supports bilingual conversations. Many of my meetings switch between English and Spanish, and Fathom does an excellent job capturing the context of both. This is especially valuable when working with immigrant entrepreneurs who prefer to explain their ideas in Spanish while discussing strategy or partnerships in English.

**Official Response from Alyssa Edelman:**

> Thanks so much for your feedback, Juan Carlos!

We love supporting the valuable work of nonprofits and have a special offer just for them - 10 free seats, no strings attached. You can find the link to apply by scrolling down on our Pricing page!

 ### 25. Efficient Meeting Recording, Needs Better Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam J. | CEO + Coach, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I use Fathom to record meetings with clients and for screen recording videos instead of Loom. What I really like about it is that it auto starts for every Zoom meeting, which makes life easier because I don't have to remember to hit record. It also automatically takes all my notes and emails me and the meeting attendees the link afterwards. This really helps because I can speak to the camera without worrying about taking notes or recording, and it sends me a summary that I can keep and share with clients or other meeting attendees. The initial setup was very easy too; I just had to sign up and download it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only issue I've had with Fathom was updating my email for my account when I changed emails, their support wasn't the greatest with that. They wanted me to verify my email domain through my DNS settings, which was a whole ordeal when just updating my login email shouldn't be that complicated.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom auto-records my Zoom meetings, takes notes, and sends summaries, eliminating my need to worry about manual note-taking, making my life easier.

 ### 26. Used one time and was SOLD!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather L B. | Certified Enneagram & Life Coach and Signature System and Curriculum Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love that I can link it to my Asana and it creates tasks for me from the calls so I don't forget. I also love the highlight feature so I can choose what's important in the call and the ask Fathom feature when I'm looking the recording over and can find exact spots in the recordings quickly. The ability to copy the transcript makes taking it to my ai to use for other purposes is stellar and love the email feature that let's me email my clients easily with what I'm doing, what they're responsible to do and also give them access to the recording. My life is so much easier now!!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It would be nice to be able to save just the audio as well.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From the first call I realized I need to do whatever necessary to keep this software. My calls with clients require me to make notes, add tasks and listen intently to what my clients are sharing at the same time. Fathom freed me up so I can listen more deeply knowing the tasks and notes are taken care of and I can go back to the recording if needed. It's also helping my clients keep track of their tasks as well.

 ### 27. Fathom Lets Me Focus in Meetings While It Captures Every Detail !!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Affan I. | Advisor for Technology and Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It’s almost like a habit now. With the way the world is moving toward AI, I’ve found that in meetings I can focus on the important things and offload the less important (at the moment) details to Fathom, because I know Fathom is capturing it.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It’s difficult to say at the moment. I can’t really think of anything to add right now.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned in a previous question, I can focus on the important things and not just on myself. The UX is so good that everyone trusts they’ll retain 90% of the meeting’s knowledge when they see someone using Fathom during the meeting.

 ### 28. Effortless Conversation Reviews and Organized Key Discussions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayar M. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like most about Fathom is how effortless it makes reviewing conversations, so I can quickly revisit any detail whenever I need to. It keeps all my key discussions organized and easy to access, without any extra hassle.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There's honestly nothing I dislike about this. It works perfectly for me

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the hassle of manually checking notes and cross-referencing recordings for accuracy. It saves me time on double-checking details and gives me full confidence that my notes are records are accurate.

 ### 29. Fathom is practically perfect!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pauline M. | Executive Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It makes our meetings look efficient and professional (which they generally aren’t, they are very unprofessional with a lot of gossip 🥴)
But Fathom puts all the major action points in and seems to just know what is the important items… I have never been so impressed by anything as I have with this!! And even the customer help people are awesome too!!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing!!! The only thing I would like is if the fathom invitee window was smaller, I love that it is very visible to all, but a bit smaller and the actual faces of the invitees could be larger!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has made it possible for all our staff to be present and listen to the meetings with no one having to take minutes! It is also so well documented afterwards that all our employees can use the action points to follow up their assignments but as it is so well presented it is an absolute joy to read!!

 ### 30. Easy to Use Notetaker with Great Notes and a Strong Free Version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber B. | Digital Growth Specialist II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Very easy to use, I can choose when I want it to join a meeting, and I like the notes it takes. There is a great free version too!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

One time I didn't add it to a meeting right away and I had to give the notetaker the meeting URL. Also, sometimes it gets a few details wrong.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have to sit in on a lot of meetings, and it’s easy to forget to write down an important detail. I use it to make sure my follow-up emails and tasks are thorough, so I don’t miss anything or forget what needs to be done.

 ### 31. Effortless Zoom Transcripts with Smart Auto-Join Recording

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephany B. | Website Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love that it provides a transcript that’s easy to copy. I also like that it automatically joins my Zoom meetings and even waits for participants to arrive before it starts recording.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The user portal could use some aesthetic improvements, but it’s functional and easy to navigate.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to worry about remembering every detail during my client meetings or creating my own summaries afterward. It has significantly reduced the time I spend on post-meeting admin, and it also helps prevent action items from falling through the cracks simply because they weren’t captured or remembered.

 ### 32. Fathom Makes My Meetings Effortless with Spot-On Answers and Actionable Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen C. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I LOVE Fathom! When I ask it questions about my meetings, not only does it give me the correct answer, but it also shows me at what point in the meeting recording that subject was discussed.

I also love the to-do list or action steps it sends me via email after the meeting ends. The AI analysis or meeting summary is perfect too!

I'm always super impressed with Fathom, and now that I've started using it, I can't imagine having another meeting without it. It's definitely one of my favorite tools!
Thanks Fathom!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing. It's great! I've never had any issues with it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creates a usable "next actions" to-do list for each person. It's so helpful!

 ### 33. Fathom Sets the Standard for Accurate, Automated AI Note-Taking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan H. | Director of Administration/Legal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is, in my view, the best AI note-taker on the market. Our internal team reviews tools like this before we roll them out to staff, and we tested a few alternatives, including read.ai and otter.ai. None of them come close to Fathom. We’ve found Fathom to be consistently accurate with its note-taking, and we really appreciate how automated the process is—everyone receives the notes at the same time for review. I’d give Fathom 100/10 stars!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I really like everything about Fathom. Its note-taking and assignment capabilities are excellent. If I had one nitpick, it would be that sometimes (though rarely) we’ll get a composite answer—like a total of various construction costs mentioned in the meeting—that needs to be reviewed.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom is wholly taking the place of meeting minutes that can be fallible and erroneous. Attention wanes, and so does memory. Fathom solves those problems better than anyone else on the market.

 ### 34. Keeps Me Focused in Interviews with Effortless Note-Taking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bridget G. | Data Science Talent Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love that it helps me take notes while I am doing interviews so that I can be fully focused on the candidate I am speaking with, rather than being distracted by trying to transcribe the call as it is going.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I added the Chrome Extension because I thought that it would allow me to start the meeting or start the recording, but it only has the logout button. This feature would be very helpful as well. Thank you!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been interviewing candidates for our newly opened recruiter role, and Fathom has allowed me to record the call, it provides valuable key takeaways as well as a nice summary. Additionally, it allows me to go back and listen or share it with members of my team.

 ### 35. Accurate Meeting Summaries with Seamless Agenda Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillermo M. | Senoir Business Development Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It’s very accurate and helps me summarize long meetings without having to overthink whether Fathom is skipping anything important. It doesn’t. It also syncs with my agenda, so I don’t need to add it manually. I love it! I use it on Mac, there is an easy downloader so no problem there. Support reaches out to check if there is anything they can help you with. I use it almost everyday on al my meetings in Google Meet.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

For now no downsides. And if htere where I really would have told you!

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can focus on my client and not being busy scribbling notes on a paper. Which later I need and lost it. Eerthing in my mail which I can categorize. So that is really handy. my clients get als a mail with the summary of our meeting. So they now what to do and they know what to expect from me. Very clear!

 ### 36. Unobtrusive Notetaker with Great Transcripts, Summaries, and Task Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil S. | VP Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom feels pretty unobtrusive on calls. I let folks know that my notetaker is on and most are ok with it. The transcripts and summaries are great. It's even able to auto generate tasks for me. I love being able to share calls with my team, being able to copy the transcript and analyze with whatever AI tool I want, and the talk time / monologue meter on calls is awesome. Looking forward to playing more with Ask Fathom.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I don't blindly trust the summaries. They're a starting point but I review actual numbers, etc. before using. The call library feels like it could be a bit more intuitive -- but this is me looking for things to put in the dislike box vs actually feeling dissatisfied.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run a sales team and it opens up a wealth of intel for me. I can search transcripts and get that real time view of whether I'm droning on on calls :)

 ### 37. Revolutionized Our Meeting Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diliana B. | Head of Culture & Partnerships, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I use Fathom for meeting recordings and transcriptions and getting meeting summaries. The transcription quality is really great compared to other tools - e.g. Fireflies or Woodpecker. It accurately gets the names and terms right during an English transcription. Fathom integrates seamlessly with Google Meet, which is fantastic as I can add the notetaker with just a click of a button. Having meeting transcripts and summaries has significantly helped both with the services we offer to our clients and internally for task tracking. The setup was easy, and we use it every day with a team of 30 people. There's really no better tool right now, and I'm likely to rate it a 9 or 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I wish for the option to be able to create playlists of my own but also of recordings I have access to, i.e. shared with me by my colleagues. And having the option to share the playlist via link. For example, being able to collect videos for onboarding purposes in one playlist that is shareable.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps us capture meeting notes instantly, remember less during meetings, and organizes action items. It lets us revisit meetings, offers great transcription quality, and integrates well with Google Meet, enhancing our client services and internal follow-ups.

 ### 38. Automates Tasks, Enhances Meeting Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betty H. | Fractional Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I use Fathom for note-taking for my clients, and it really helps with tasks because I have it automated to go into my task manager. This way, my tasks come straight from Fathom and into my task manager, so they're all ready to go. Fathom is great for communication and being present in meetings. It allows me to focus on my client, make eye contact, and be present without worrying about taking notes. I love that I get the highlights and summaries from meetings, and I have the recordings, so if I miss something, I can go back and find it. My clients and I really appreciate the meeting summaries from Fathom.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It's sometimes difficult when you go to the Fathom site to change settings. So that needs to be better and more intuitive. It's also difficult to change your plans within Fathom. Very difficult. So that needs to be better and more intuitive as well. More user-friendly. It also needs to be easier to get in touch with Fathom support.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom for note-taking and task management from client meetings. It solves communication issues by allowing me to focus on the meeting instead of taking notes. The summaries from meetings are helpful, making tasks ready immediately after meetings. Everything that I stated above in "What do you like best about Fathom?"

 ### 39. Instant Meeting Notes, Flawless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suraj J. | Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love how Fathom sends all the data back to us so quickly. As soon as the meeting finishes, I have the notes, the recording, and the action items in my mailbox within a few minutes. The initial setup was super easy too, with hardly any effort required. It's just a matter of initial integrations which happen with a few clicks. We switched from Zoom and Otter, and with Fathom, we found what we were looking for.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

nothing - it works great

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom instantly provides meeting notes, clear action items, and meeting recordings with transcriptions. The speed at which it delivers this data, right after a meeting, is impressive—everything arrives in my mailbox within seconds or minutes after meeting

 ### 40. Easy Zoom App for Recording and Transcribing Qualitative Interviews

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love that it is an easy App to use within a direct integration to Zoom. I have used it to record and transcribe consumer interviews for my qualitative research projects. In addition to using Fathom to provide transcripts, I also use Fathom to create video clips to use in reports. It is nice to be able to log-in to Fathom directly and see all of my past videos in one place. Recently a client asked me about an interview from 18 months ago. I was able to log-in, view the AI summary, access the video, and see the list of attendees. No onboarding was needed, because it is so easy to use. I haven't had to use support. The software always worked when I needed it and the speed was fine.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Some of the transcription isn't great. It misinterprets some of the words that are said, but it is better than other transcription tools that I have used. You get 5 more advanced AI transcriptions a month, and then unlimited "basic" transcriptions a month. If I were using Fathom all the time, I would pay for the premium service. Right now, because I don't need any additional support, I haven't paid for the premium service.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom provides me with transcription and key summary of the discussion for my qualitative interviews. I am also able to find the section of the video of interest to my clients and make a video clip. It is also nice to have one place to store all of my videos. I was recently asked to go in to an interview from 18 months ago to find a specific piece of information, and I was able to do that quickly.

 ### 41. Superior-Quality Notes That Are Ready to Share Instantly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jeff p. | Business Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What stands out most is the superior quality of the notes, even when the discussion covers complex or abstract topics. From the very first use, my notes were ready immediately and easy to send to my client.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I honestly can’t think of any real downside. I’m not especially tech-savvy, but I was still able to integrate it with Zoom and get everything up and running without much difficulty.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to recapture about three hours each day that I would otherwise spend typing up call notes and sending them to my client. That gives me three additional hours of profitable time every single workday. HUGE!

 ### 42. Accurate Summaries and Automatic Attendee Sharing That Impress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The summaries are accurate and useful, I never need to go into the recording or transcript to correct anything. And the automatic distribution to attendees is something that always gets a positive response.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only thing I've struggled with, and to be fair I haven't done much research on how to correct it, is when I want to add Fathom to an adhoc meeting or use in a in-person meeting. It's be great to set if off and capture the conversation.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's saving me having to write notes and assign action points. Everyone comes away from the meeting with an AI summary and a list of actionables

 ### 43. Hands-Free Call Recording with Accurate Transcripts and Effortless Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like best about Fathom is that the bot joins the call on its own and operates fully independently from my device. The recording and transcription run on Fathom's side, so I don't need to worry about my connection, my battery or whether my laptop stays awake. Even when I have a poor internet connection or have to drop off briefly, the call is still being captured end-to-end.

The transcription itself is also very accurate, with clear speaker identification, so it's easy to follow who said what when reviewing the call afterwards.

Lastly, the sharing experience is great. I can send a link to colleagues or clients without having to download or attach anything, which makes it very smooth to circulate notes or specific moments of a call.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I can’t see who has spoken in the transcript, which makes it hard to follow the conversation.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It includes transcripts, videos, and recordings.

 ### 44. Simple UI, Great Integrations, and Excellent AI Transcripts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshat K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Honestly? Simple UI/UX, Easy to use, integrations are handy dandy, the performance is great because its so simple to use, price is decent considering they have cloud storage for the videos, and the onboarding experience was honestly not even needed because of how easy it was to use. AI transcript features are GREAT. My team speaks in hindi/english dynamically and it seems to either filter out the hindi if the AI is not confident or convert it to english and turn it into a transcript. Great work Fathom team!

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Not much to be honest. Color scheme, if that.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud storage for meetings (OBS + AI Transcripts), the email feature is great too where you can email people right after the call.

 ### 45. Effortless Meeting Transcriptions with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shahbaz A. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that Fathom is easy to use and integrates seamlessly with meeting platforms like Zoom and Google Meet. It's really helpful that an automatic notetaker joins and starts recording without needing many steps beforehand, even if I'm running late. I appreciate that it transcribes meetings well by filtering out filler words and unnecessary pauses, giving me a clear context. The initial setup was a breeze, taking about five minutes, and once integrated with my calendar and email, it's pretty much automated. Plus, it's cost-effective compared to competitors while providing similar functionality.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It would be ideal if the other participants in the meeting do not know that i am using a note taking tool. If that anonymity can ve maintained, will be good.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom records and transcribes meetings automatically, making it easy to recall discussions without rewatching. This speeds up decision-making. Seamless integration with Zoom and Google Meet ensures no steps are missed, even if I'm late, and eliminates filler words, delivering a clear meeting context.

 ### 46. Fathom Lets Me Stay Present in Meetings with Instant Summaries and Action Items

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

As a PM, my favorite thing about Fathom is pretty simple: I can actually be present in meetings.

There’s no frantic note-taking, no missed action items, and no post-call scramble to piece everything together. It takes care of the documentation so I can stay focused on the conversation. The summaries hit my inbox as soon as the call ends, and the action items are already pulled out and easy to follow.

If you’re managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders, that’s genuinely a big deal.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The bot joining as a visible participant is a bit awkward - especially on client calls. There's something about "Fathom Notetaker" sitting in the attendee list that changes the energy in the room, even slightly.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The core problem it solves is cognitive load in meetings.
As a PM, you're supposed to be listening, facilitating, and reading the room - not hunched over a keyboard trying to capture everything. Before Fathom, I was doing both, and doing neither well.

 ### 47. Revolutionized Our Meeting Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eveliina H. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really like how Fathom automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes our calls. It allows our team to be fully present and engaged during meetings instead of taking manual notes. The integration with Asana, where it pushes action items and meeting highlights directly into tasks, makes it shine. This seamless pipeline has made our client management and internal communication incredibly efficient and reliable. We always know what was discussed and who is responsible for the next steps. The way Fathom modernizes our workflows, especially when paired with Asana, is its biggest advantage.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There is very little to complain about. If I had to name one thing, it’s simply the initial adjustment period. It takes a little bit of time and habit-building for the whole team to get used to having an AI bot in every meeting and to learn how to properly utilize the highlight features to get the best possible summaries out of the AI. The language support.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom automates recording, transcribing, and summarizing calls, allowing our team to stay engaged during meetings instead of taking notes. Its integration with Asana boosts reliability in client management and internal communication, making workflows modern and efficient.

 ### 48. Efficient Note-Taking with Quick Summary Needs Tweaking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zackary B. | Director, Strategic IT Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that Fathom allows me to focus on the conversation without worrying about taking notes. It gives me a summary of any action items after the meeting, making follow-up emails simple and streamlined. The ability to rapidly produce a summary and transcript is great for when I have only a few minutes between calls. I can quickly get a list of action items and send them out before my next meeting starts. It's also very helpful for reviewing what was said in meetings a week or two later, so there are no discrepancies about assigned tasks. Additionally, I appreciate that Fathom records the entire meeting, including a video that I can review later, and the initial setup took only two minutes.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The meeting summaries are often too long, and it tends to leave out key action items that were discussed during the meeting. I usually take the transcript and ask ChatGPT or Claude to create a more concise summary and list of discussed action items.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom to focus on conversations, not worry about notes. It easily summarizes meetings, lists action items, and helps me send follow-ups quickly. I can review calls for clarity, preventing task disputes.

 ### 49. Effortlessly Captures Meeting Insights, Needs Enhanced Non-English Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas V. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love using Fathom because the AI summaries are surprisingly accurate and concise. The free tier is generous, making it really easy for us to adopt. The Zoom/Meet/Teams integrations work seamlessly, so the bot just shows up automatically, removing any friction. Sharing clips and highlights via a simple link is super practical for keeping everyone in the loop. The speaker identification works well, attributing notes accurately to who said what. I also appreciate how Fathom automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes our meetings, allowing us to share in Slack and Notion. It's especially useful for important calls where capturing decisions is crucial. The integration with Slack and the ability to link with Notion for project follow-ups is fantastic. Fathom removes the burden of taking notes manually during meetings, letting us focus on the conversation, and automatically extracts action items to ensure nothing is missed. Sharing key moments via timestamped clips is great for giving context without needing to watch a full recording, and it really shortens the loop between a meeting and follow-up actions. The setup was trivial, with less than 5 minutes needed per user and no IT involvement. It’s also awesome that once connected, the bot joins meetings automatically and records are prepared within minutes, which is a big win for sales calls.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Transcription quality drops with strong accents or noisy audio. Spanish (and other non-English) summaries are still less accurate than the English ones. The team workspace features feel less mature than what specialized competitors like Gong offer for sales coaching. And in some calls the bot showing up automatically can feel intrusive, an option to ask for explicit consent at the start of each call would be welcome.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings, allowing us to focus on conversations without manual note-taking. It extracts action items and lets us share key moments via clips, improving follow-up efficiency and keeping everyone informed.

 ### 50. Fantastic AI Meeting Summaries, Transcripts, and Post-Call Q&A

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It’s very unintrusive when it joins my meetings, and the automated AI summaries are fantastic. I also love that there’s a button to easily copy everything into a Google Docs format. The recording quality—especially the transcript—is excellent, and I’m particularly impressed with how it automatically identifies who each speaker is.

My absolute favourite feature (actually, there are two) is the ability to ask Fathom questions after a meeting. Once the meeting is over, you can ask Fathom about what was discussed, and the AI reviews the transcript and answers your questions. That’s incredibly helpful from a sales perspective when you need extra detail to understand what the customer is feeling, and it’s good at identifying pain points.

I also like that it has one-click buttons to generate summaries for different use cases, such as a project review meeting or a discovery call.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There are a couple of downsides. In particular, when I’m using Fathom on the web, there’s a bug that seems to have been around forever: if you watch a video in full screen (or even half full screen), the button to switch it back disappears, so it’s hard to change the view again. More generally, the video player itself feels low quality and slow. When I jump backward and forward, it gets a bit glitchy. Overall, I think the video player functionality needs to be improved significantly.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom saves us so much time. I’m the sales manager, and during sales calls I don’t feel like I need to actively take notes. Instead, I can engage directly with the customer, knowing Fathom will have a recording of exactly what was discussed. After the call, I can ask Fathom to generate specific notes or pull out the next steps, and it makes follow-up much easier. For me as a salesperson, and for our sales team overall, it really helps us stay in the moment and focused on the core conversation while saving a lot of administration time.
