## Fathom Reviews
 ### 1. Accurate AI Action Items and Focused Meeting Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrés M. | Developer and AI Tech Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

AI action items, strong comprehension, and clear distinction between people on the call, as well as the next steps. Fathom understands the purpose of the meeting and keeps the summary focused on that goal. The key-point extraction is also very accurate.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There’s no mobile app, so I can’t use Fathom when I’m on the go or taking a call away from my computer.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m an IT support agent and developer at my company, so I regularly handle a lot of requests from the management team. I use the accurate transcriptions and AI Action Items to map out a clear path for building and follow-up. So far, I haven’t run into any issues or missing information when working this way. At this point, I genuinely and happily rely on the AI’s accuracy to produce concise action items and clear next steps.

 ### 2. Effortless Meeting Summaries and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren M. | Co-Owner, CEO, and Principal Evaluator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is so easy to use. The AI summaries are amazing and always on point. I love that you can get the full transcript, see the questions that were asked during a meeting, click on any part of the summary or questions to be brought to that part of the video if you want to review and even ask questions about the meeting so you don't have to search for answers (like what was the deadline we talked about for the next report and it will pull the answer for you). I also absolutely love their customer service. I had to change my login email and was worried I would lose all my recorded meetings but the customer service team was super helpful and got my account switched over quickly and painlessly. I also love the security - nothing recorded to my account is used outside of my account, even for training purposes. That gives me and those I meet with peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing. I really appreciate it. There is nothing I dislike about it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really don't know what I would do without Fathom. I can focus on the people I'm talking to in meetings knowing that all the notes will be there when I'm done. Sometimes meetings move fast and I love that I can go back and review the notes so I don't miss anything. I use Fathom summaries to help write proposals and reports.

 ### 3. Incredible Meeting Action Items with Lightning-Fast Turnaround

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Incredible at capturing all the action items from a meeting, way better than Gemini. The speedy processing is also a huge plus (usually in my inbox within two or three minutes of the meeting ending).

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I wish there was the option to "un-link" all the different bullet points it creates. Sometimes can be helpful for internal, but a lot of times I copy and paste the notes to a meeting recap email with the client, and I don't want all of the hyperlinks. EXTREMELY tedious to unlink everything.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Letting me stay more focussed during the meeting and not having to constantly be typing meeting notes in the background.

 ### 4. Fathom Nails Recording: Easy to Use with Great Post-Recording Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Owner/Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I’ve tried many recording software tools, and Fathom just gets it right. It’s easy to use and gives me multiple options after each recording. The interface is very intuitive, and I really like that when I’m waiting for others to join, it holds off on recording until they’re there, though I can also start it manually if I want. Overall, it feels like the most complete, well rounded meeting recorder I’ve used.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I haven’t found anything I dislike yet. I wish I could say otherwise, but so far I haven’t come across anything I don’t like.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me time and helps me keep everything in one place so I don’t forget anything. It’s also great because I don’t have to spend time taking notes, which means I can stay present and focused during the meeting.

 ### 5. Streamlined Call Review Boosted My Coaching Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego Q. | Fitness Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love Fathom because it helps me review my calls with clients and leads, giving me key points and allowing me to review my calls with precision. I like that it lets me copy things to my Todoist, gives me clear action points, provides a transcript, and is super handy with all the info, offering key points and pretty much clarifying what to do. The initial setup was easy, which was a bonus for me.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps me review calls with clients and leads, providing key action points, precise call insights, transcripts, and clear information to improve my coaching.

 ### 6. Effortless Meeting Access and Seamless Usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nrip N. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I came across this tool on a call I had with someone, and explored it as I had been trying out a bunch of other tools. Several of them good but fairly complex to use... This impressed me to try it out, and now it's a standard on all my calls.

It's very easy to use, friction free. I don't have to do much to get it to join meetings, either those on the calendar or those I join impromptu.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

All the advanced features like AI generated action items, advanced summaries, etc are unavailable to non-premium users. I wish I could get a limited number of those every month so I could use them only in some very important meetings for which I then revert to my gemini created transcript.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It joins into my online meetings and helps maintain a transcription, construct a summary for me to refer to later, and this is available for the non premium users too...

 ### 7. Fathom Makes Meeting Minutes Effortless with Best-in-Class Action Points

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier M. | Fractional CMO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I’m a fractional CMO for several companies, and I’ve tried three or four other meeting assistant tools. Fathom wins by far because it integrates super easily into any meeting, even when I’m using different work emails. Its AI for capturing meeting action points is second to none. I’ve basically stopped editing meeting minutes and instead just forward the clear minutes from Fathom. Awesome tool, and definitely part of my tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There´s is really nothing I can think of

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meeting minutes, meeting recordings, and meeting action points.

 ### 8. Focused Interview Tool with Seamless Google Meet Integration and AI Summaries

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like having a focused tool for processing customer interviews. All the UI features, like highlights, custom summary formats, etc—feel geared towards this specific kind of work. It integrates seamlessly with Google Meet and there isn't any kind of lag, it just works. The onboarding process was simple and covered everything. Also appreciate being able to create reusable AI prompts for call summaries so there are consistent summaries between calls.

Doing 1-3 customer interviews per week, it works out to around $2-$3 per call for my use case, which feels a little high but definitely worth the time savings processing transcripts manually.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

That the transcript often gets the speakers mixed up, or merges quotes from two speakers together briefly, which can be problematic when I'm trying to scan for quotes. I'd love to see this area improve.

The pricing seems a little high for my low volume use case (around 10 calls per month).

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me process customer interviews for insights that help guide product development and marketing.

 ### 9. Effortless Meeting Documentation with Fathom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** johnny S. | Territory Manager Right to Bear, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really appreciate that Fathom keeps notes from my meetings so I don't have to write, allowing me to concentrate on what I'm saying. It's great that I can share the notes with other people and always go back whenever I have a question about something. Being able to revisit my meetings ensures everything's accurate, with no misunderstandings, and I have documentation to back up what was said. It has saved me a lot of time from taking notes, that's the big thing. Plus, the setup was very easy, with no problems at all.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There is nothing that I dislike

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom keeps notes from meetings, so I don't have to write, saving time and avoiding misunderstandings. I can focus on speaking and share accurate notes or recordings afterwards. Revisiting meetings for clarification helps me back up what was discussed.

 ### 10. Fathom AI Note Taker Delivers Clear, Shareable Meeting Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony R. | Senior Global Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I’ve had a great experience using Fathom AI Note Taker. It’s incredibly helpful for capturing meeting notes accurately and saving time on follow-ups. The summaries are clear, well-structured, and easy to share with the team. Integrates well with Google workspace.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only minor issue I’ve experienced is that occasionally the record button doesn’t appear, but it has been resolved and hasn’t caused major problems. Overall, it’s a very reliable and valuable tool for meetings.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of manual note-taking during meetings and interviews, allowing me to stay fully present and focused on the conversation instead of worrying about capturing every detail. As a recruiter, this is extremely valuable because time is money, and it helps me conduct more effective interviews and improve candidate experience.

 ### 11. Summaries, transcriptions, and meeting recordings: Essential AI for professionals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thaynan L. | Analista, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The ability to have summaries, transcripts, detailed information, and especially recordings of the meeting. Essential tools for professionals like me who need an AI tool to accompany me in meetings with clients.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside so far, in my experience using it, is that the AI doesn't yet translate some topics or summaries directly into my language.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep objective and recorded records of the meetings I conduct with clients.

 ### 12. Accurate, Well-Structured Summaries That Follow the Conversation Perfectly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that the summary is very accurate and is broken down based on headings so I know what the conversation is about at any time. It follows the conversation really well.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The little toolbar is a bit distracting at times like it will tell me i've spoken for this percnetage of time and that tends to distract during calls. I generally try to move it off the screen so I'm not distracted.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the case of having to remember every point discussed and having to follow up to clarify something that's been already discussed. It helps me go back and figure out what to clarify.

 ### 13. Super User-Friendly, Time-Saving Automation with Asana & Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica V. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It is super user friendly, it has already saved me about 3 hours of creating minutes per day. It has all these cool, auto functions that save me time and help me to not miss anything, it's also integrated with Asana and Outlook so it can create tasks for me. I use it daily and I love it. When I had questions, the support team was always available and super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I can't say I dislike anything, and that is my 100% honest truth. Everything is customizable so if you don't like something, you can change it to how you would prefer.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have already solved all the queries or concerns I had.

 ### 14. Timestamped Summaries Make Candidate Comparisons Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherifa M. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The summaries that include recording timestamps are very helpful to me in my role as a hiring manager. It has allowed me to revisit responses to compare and contrast so that I ensure that I am fairly rating each candidate.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I dislike that there are limited free product options.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the issue of having to multitask as meeting facilitator, notetaker, and the person sharing the action items after the meeting.

 ### 15. Effortlessly Manages Meetings with Actionable Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinit J. | Global Shaper, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I appreciate how Fathom makes it easy to enable for meetings and provides insights via email with clear speaker-level bifurcation of meeting data. I find the transcription and translation capabilities very above average. The email insights are particularly crisp and allow for quicker actions by correctly marking them against action owners. The better quality transcription and the easier support for Slack and exports motivated us to switch from our previous product. The initial setup was very easy, which was a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The ease of enabling Fathom via mobile app or mobile version would be a game changer. Fathom currently works only via the desktop version, and a mobile app would make taking meetings on the move very easy and hence very useful.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom to record and get summaries of meetings, track upcoming meetings, and receive clear action-driven insights, facilitating faster decision-making.

 ### 16. Best-in-Class Summaries and Action Items with Fathom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob H. | Knowledge Management Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The detailed summaries and action items are the best we've seen from tools in this category. We've signed up our entire staff to use Fathom. Now we just have to find a way to stop bringing everyone's Fathom to our townhalls.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It would be nice if we could sort out the Fathom drop in automatically in the background so we don't get multiple staff members bringing their Fathom to meetings.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better intel from our meetings

 ### 17. Unmatched Note-Taking Accuracy, Especially for Indian Accents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayanth S. | Senior Research Associate, Environmental Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I have used several other note-taking tools, but in my opinion, none of them come close to Fathom. What makes it even better is that it’s free, which I find incredible. The accuracy of the output it produces impressed me so much that I upgraded to the premium version without any hesitation. One of the standout features for me is that it works well with Indian accents, even when they are quite strong, something that other note-taking tools often struggle with.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Absolutely nothing to dislike. It is a really good tool! Just a suggestion is the way it takes notes from the conference room meetings could be refined (I hope the team already knows what i mean by that)

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To keep track of the action points accurately and even revisiting the recordings which often most tools do not do it for free is quite impressive and helps me go back and check if I have missed anything.

 ### 18. Always Accurate, Timely Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Otasowie E. | Independent Consultant Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The summary is always completely accurate.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

None, it is always very accurate and timely

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s solving note taking and picking relevant information. It benefits me as a recruiter as it helps pick the littlest important information. I can also always go back and rewatch the video too

 ### 19. Effortless Meeting Recording and Helpful AI Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren R. | Kicks For Kids Team Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love how I can schedule Fathom to automatically join and record my meetings. I also love the AI summary it produces after each meeting.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only downside to Fathom is that it shows up as another "box" in a virtual meeting (and the recording), rather than a small icon or something less "in-your-face."

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a solopreneur, Fathom saves me hours of work each week. It acts like a free note-taker in meetings and helps me stay organized.

 ### 20. Bot-Free Capture with Shockingly Accurate Transcripts and Searchable Meeting History

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The new bot-free capture mode is a massive upgrade. It runs silently in the background, capturing audio and generating live summaries without that awkward "meeting bot" sitting in the participant grid.
For a startup environment where we are constantly jumping between technical syncs, architecture planning, and impromptu troubleshooting, not having to manually manage recordings or explain the bot's presence is huge.
The transcripts are shockingly accurate, even with highly technical jargon. It handles terminology around things like anti-corruption layers, event-driven orchestration, and custom agent frameworks without missing a beat. The Ask Fathom feature via MCP into Claude/ChatGPT is my favorite piece!
I can literally query our meeting history to verify exactly what was agreed upon regarding system design weeks ago. Plus, the free tier offering unlimited recordings and basic summaries is easily the most generous in the industry right now.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

While the AI summaries are highly structured, they can sometimes sanitize the conversation a bit too much.
If we are having a deep technical debate about architectural trade-offs, the AI summary

tends to gloss over the nuance and just list the final decision. You still need to click through to the interactive transcript to get the full context of why a specific path was chosen. Additionally, advanced action items and custom templates require a premium tier, so power users will eventually need to upgrade.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It completely eliminates the friction of post-meeting documentation.
When discussing complex distributed systems or debugging sessions, I want 100% of my focus on the problem, not on being the team scribe. Fathom captures the raw decisions and action items natively, integrating directly with our existing workflow tools. It essentially turns ephemeral video calls into searchable, actionable engineering documentation without adding a single minute of overhead to my day.

 ### 21. Effortless meeting summaries that save time and keep me organized.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdul M. | Property Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like most about Fathom is how seamlessly it handles meetings without any extra effort from me. It automatically records, saves everything to the cloud, and provides a full transcript. If I forget a detail or need to revisit a discussion, I can quickly go back and review it. The summaries and to-do lists are especially helpful, and I really like how it identifies different speakers and organizes the notes accordingly. Overall, it makes meetings much easier to manage and follow up on.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, there isn’t much I dislike about Fathom. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be expanding its functionality for in-person meetings. It would be great if Fathom could also work as a standalone recorder for in-person or hybrid meetings and generate transcripts, summaries, and action items. I understand this is technically challenging, especially when multiple people are speaking, but having that capability in the future would make the tool even more powerful.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of manual note-taking during meetings. Instead of trying to listen, participate, and write notes at the same time, I can focus fully on the conversation. Fathom captures everything, then provides clear summaries and actionable to-do lists afterward. This saves time, reduces missed details, and helps me stay organized and on top of follow-ups.

 ### 22. Effortless Meeting Transcripts and Actionable Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nate F. | WebMaster, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

What I like best about Fathom is how seamless it is to use during meetings. It captures accurate transcripts and summaries without being intrusive, which lets me stay fully engaged in the conversation instead of worrying about taking notes. The action items and highlights are especially helpful and save a lot of time after meetings.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There isn’t much I dislike, but occasionally the summaries could benefit from a bit more refinement, especially in meetings with a lot of back-and-forth discussion. Very minor context can sometimes be missed, but overall it does a great job.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of having to juggle note-taking while actively participating in meetings. By automatically capturing transcripts, summaries, and action items, it ensures nothing important is missed and reduces the need for follow-up clarification. This saves time, improves accuracy, and allows me to be more present and effective during meetings.

 ### 23. Genuinely a positive experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that AI gives immediate feedback and draws it from specific time stamps in the meeting, allowing you to go back and review that - super user friendly. The ability to connect it with Teams is really solid, and the recording feature is great if we need to send it to customers. the overall performance of the program has been a very great resource and really helps support coaching opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

it tends to be nitpicky but all in all, it is providing feedback based on the criteria that was created for it give feedback on. all in all, very positive experience so far.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it is really helping clear up empty space in my meetings and how i can dive deeper into those conversation points; helping close business thereafter.

 ### 24. Free Unlimited Recordings, Storage, and Transcripts with Fathom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc H. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom is the only provider who offers free and unlimited recordings, video storage and transcripts.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There is no mobile app, no good way to record instant calls on mobile, phone calls or in person calls.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom is recording every meeting, sending me and other attendees the information and helping me to have meetings without paper notes.

 ### 25. Everything Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh S. | Intermediate Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Everything! It just works. The free tier is amazing. I'm seriously contemplating upgrading to access the templates, I think that will take me to the next level tbh.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I think the dashboard interface could do with some love, but there is nothing wrong with it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps me recollect the little things... things mentioned but never documented. The summaries are a great way to understand what to do next, it might sound trivial but once you make adding fathom to your meetings a habbit, you'll always have the context that you, and your agent _wink wink_, require.

 ### 26. Easy to Use with Great Meeting Summaries and Action Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Bautista P. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Easy to use. Good summary of meetings. Taking notes of the actions to be done.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Not one thing that comes to mind. All is good.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't take notes in my meetings any more. Just make sure it is logged in (if I am not the organizer I have to ask for permission, maybe that would be a thing to solve if possible).

 ### 27. Clear Meeting Summaries and Action Items That Are Easy to Share

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zebulen D. | Entrepreneur | AI Marketing Expert | Helping Business Automate & Scale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The meeting summary and action items are easy to understand and clearly share with attendees.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

They still haven’t added the Notion integration.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me track my action items coming out of meetings and lets me review past meetings so I can be better prepared. It also connects via MCP to Claude, which helps me pull out action items.

 ### 28. Instant Call Summaries That Make Follow-Ups and Next Steps Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas R. | Senior Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom makes it incredibly easy to understand the outcomes of a call. My team relies heavily on the summary’s key topics and next actions. Being able to see what was said at a glance also helps us a lot when defining new processes, and even when following up with questions for a client.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Honestly, I haven’t noticed any downsides so far. It’s exceptional at what it does, and the reports generate so quickly that we can share them right after we hop off.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Definitely making sure we have everything written down after each meeting. Before, it was so easy to forget what was said when no one was recording or taking notes. Now it’s one less thing to worry about every day, because Fathom takes care of it.

 ### 29. Intuitive Tool with Exceptional Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew R. | Project Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I find Fathom extremely intuitive, and I'm really impressed with the summaries it creates—they're some of the best I've ever seen. The detail included in the transcriptions is excellent, including recognizing URLs mentioned in the conversation. The initial setup was very simple and intuitive, not requiring much work from my team at all.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It would be nice if it worked with RingCentral, but beyond that, I haven't yet found anything in the first couple of days of using it that I would want to see improvements on.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom helps me remember what we discussed during calls and identifies key action items. Through its API, I can track support and sales conversations in my internal metrics, even when they happen on a client's meeting tool.

 ### 30. Easy Setup and Powerful Automation That Boosts Sales with AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabi S. | Director of GTM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

easy set up, and I love the automation. The MCP has been useful and has allowed me to use AI to improve our sales.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I'd like to be able to easy feed call data into our CRM

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom gives me an easy way to record calls, get data from those calls and summaries, and collaborate as a team

 ### 31. A Must-Have for Busy PRofessionals: Focus on the Meeting, Not the Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William N. | Founder | EarthSort (Early-Stage Venture), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom allows me to stay fully present in important conversations while knowing that every action item is being captured in the background. It does an incredible job of understanding context; it doesn't just transcribe words, it understands the 'intent' of the meeting.

Customer Service has been amazing.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only minor friction point is the transparency around recording and distribution for guests. I find myself manually double-checking if I’ve clearly disclosed the recording to partners and ensuring that summaries aren't being auto-sent before I’ve had a chance to review them. It would be great to have more prominent 'peace of mind' indicators within the UI to confirm these privacy settings at a glance during the call.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary benefit is massive time savings and peace of mind. Even if the AI gets a specific word slightly off in the summary, the Deep-Linking feature allows me to jump straight to that part of the video to see exactly what was said. It provides a reliable safety net that ensures nothing is lost, without me having to spend hours reviewing transcripts manually.

 ### 32. A Game-Changer for Meeting Notes: Fast, Accurate Summaries with Fathom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Enforcement | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I love how Fathom summarizes each point during a Teams or Zoom meeting. The Fathom notetaker sends each person attending the meeting the meeting notes as soon as it is over. As a secretary of an association, it is a game-changer. I can still pay attention to most of the meeting and not have to worry about missing any notes.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

There isn't anything I dislike about Fathom. It is a free tool that works really well.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me be attentive and participate in meetings.

 ### 33. Fathom is the World's BEST Assistant I Never Knew I Needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom has saved me so much time and effort. I was skeptical at first; however, now I will (and already have) recommended Fathom to everyone I know. The experience is seamless from start to finish, and I honestly wish everything were this good and this easy.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I am not kidding when I say that I like everything about Fathom and have no complaints. NONE.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Note-taking is hard for me. I can’t actively listen, take notes, capture the deeper meaning, keep the momentum of the conversation, and still make sense all at the same time. I also can’t remember everything, so Fathom feels like the greatest, smartest, and best assistant out there for me.

 ### 34. Effortless Setup, Seamless Workflows, and Great AI Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It’s quite simple: this tool just does its job perfectly, and that’s it. The setup is easy, the workflows are seamless, and the AI notes are great. It also has a solid ecosystem with very useful integrations and MCPs, which enable more complex AI-driven automation workflows.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing particularly meaningful comes to mind here. Everything works well and smoothly, and there’s even solid support for languages other than English (a small thing, but in a multi-language environment it’s actually quite important). I haven’t run into any issues so far, and the price feels totally reasonable.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping meeting notes organised, easy to access, and integrated with my AI workflows, with simple summaries and clear action-point highlighting.

 ### 35. Great AI Features and a Strong Free Version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea D. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Fathom delivers genuinely useful meeting summaries without asking you to pay for them. The free plan covers everything a small team actually needs, automatic transcription, key highlights, and a clear record of what was discussed and decided. No paywalls on the core functionality, no pressure to upgrade just to get value out of

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The summaries are good, but they can miss nuance especially in conversations that jump between topics or rely on context built up over previous meetings. Sometimes the output feels a bit generic, and you still need to review the transcript to catch anything that actually mattered. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you're expecting it to fully replace your own note

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest one is getting rid of manual note-taking during calls. Before Fathom, someone always had to split their attention between the conversation and writing things down — and the notes were never quite right anyway. Now we're fully present in meetings and let Fathom handle the record.
Follow-ups are also much faster. Instead of piecing together what was agreed at the end of a call, we have a clear summary to pull from. It saves real time after every meeting and reduces the back-and-forth of "wait, what did we decide on that?"

 ### 36. Excellent Meeting Reminders and Handy Highlight Feature

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Selman . | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

Reminding the following meetings as pop up and the optional Highlight feature

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

It still does not has a turkish language support (but indeed this is not a real problem, I can translate via AI tools)

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an IT Manager, I’m genuinely proud to bring such convenience to my entire team. After each meeting, you automatically receive a well-structured email with sections like: Meeting Purpose, Key Takeaways, Topics, Next Steps, and Action Items. I already shared the product with all the people I know (especially who are low qualified with tech stuff.) This is life saver I guess.

Last words, I’ve just come across the first AI assistant that completely changed my perspective. After trying so many tools, none of them hit the right spot like this one did. The way it categorizes and summarizes meetings is exactly what I needed.

 ### 37. Professional Notes and Timeline-Structured Tasks That Keep Everyone Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zack C. | Doctoral Student, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

The important help Fathom provides is the professional layout of the notes, summary, and important tasks that everyone has agreed to. Additionally, I love that my tasks are structured in a timeline order.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The only thing is that it's a little difficult to use it across other platforms, such as Teams.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not sure of any problems Fathom is resolving.

 ### 38. Accurate Transcripts, Clear Summaries, and Actionable Call Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason D. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It does a great job of transcribing the audio from the call and summarizing the main points. It also calls out all the action items from the call so that it is clear what needs to be done.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Nothing—I honestly have nothing negative to say about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a problem when a meeting occurs, but no specifics are recorded to take away from the meeting. Fathom does a great job of recording the meeting, transcribing the audio, summarizing the meeting, and listing the action items.

 ### 39. Fathom Makes Meeting Notes Effortless to Capture and Revisit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viwe X. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I cannot retain all the info that gets discussed in our meetings so I rely on Fathom for note taking and referring back to those notes

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

At times it freezes. It’s not my internet connection at all

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notes taking. I rely heavily on returning to those notes to ensure all tasks get done

 ### 40. Saves Me Tons of Time So I Can Focus on Calls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharon P. | Senior Technical Account Manager & PreSales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It saves me a ton of time and lets me concentrate on the call instead of taking notes.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I don’t have anything I don’t like about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking notes during calls while still keeping up with the conversation is really hard. With Fathom, I don’t need to worry about that. It captures the notes, next steps, and action items for me. I can also go back to the recording and transcript afterward, which is very helpful.

 ### 41. Super Simple Follow-Ups and Key Takeaways That Save Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It's super simple to use. It keeps track of my follow-ups from meetings and puts together a key takeaway list. Huge time saver! Has greatly increased my productivity.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I use fathom in my team meetings. I wish there was a way to make it more discreet. It can make some people uncomfortable to know they are being recorded.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me keep organized and on track. I always forget something from a meeting, but fathom keeps me covered,

 ### 42. Efficient Meeting Transcription but Needs Improved Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like that Fathom has action items and a summary of the meetings. Even if I miss a meeting, I can just read the summary and look at anything important. I find it helpful for not having to take notes during meetings, which allows them to run smoothly. It also lets me put together all my thoughts afterward and ensures I don't forget anything discussed. The initial setup was pretty easy, and the software is user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

sometimes it's pretty hard to search in the history for old periods. I wish that the search criteria were better.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fathom to record video calls, transcribe them, and create action items. It helps me avoid taking notes, ensures smooth meetings, allows me to organize my thoughts afterward, and prevents me from forgetting details. I also appreciate the meeting summaries and action items for missed meetings.

 ### 43. Smooth Integration and High Return on Investment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I like how easy it is to integrate Fathom. The tool works really well on a daily basis due to the ease of integration. Just configure it once and it automatically associates with Google Meet, which is very helpful because I have dozens of calls. Receiving the transcript in the email immediately after the meeting is another thing that helps a lot. Moreover, setting up the interaction is super easy, and then everything can be done with just three clicks.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Especially on Google Meet, sometimes the bot takes quite a while to be added to calls, and my experience there is also not that simple, meaning if it's necessary to pause the recording for a moment, sometimes resuming takes some time. But that's the only aspect that has some friction.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fathom solves the problem of having to write notes, as they are generated automatically and facilitates quick sharing with the client. Integrated with Google and Zoom, it automatically joins meetings and records, providing transcriptions and important notes.

 ### 44. Exceptionally Accurate and Organized Medical Notes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hana K. | Clinical Research Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It was very easy to install and learn how to use its features. The notes are highly accurate, even when we use very specific medical terms. I love how well the notes are organized, which I prefer much more than Zoom’s AI notes. I use the notetaker as often as three times a day, and it saves me from having to divert my attention away from meetings to type my own notes. It integrates easily with Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet. My boss also liked the quality of the notes and decided to sign up as well.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I can't easily add Fathom to unplanned meetings. Sometimes it can't join planned meeting either for some reason.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes care of the menial task of writing down important points from the meeting with accurate language so that I can actually learn summarizing skills from this app. It saves my time so that I can focus on the actual important tasks that needs to get done to push the project forward.

 ### 45. Reliable Meeting Recording with Written and Recorded Minutes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary K. | Scholarship -Wezesha Program Volunteer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It captures the entire meeting even if you jump off the meeting, it will continue recording as long as it's on network

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

So far nothing because it gives us written and recorded minutes.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more writing minutes which is time consuming
Even if you missed a point you can revise the recording.
It gives clear outlines of the action points and who is responsible
It automatically sends the minutes to attendees
In conclusion, it's time saving

 ### 46. Meeting Summaries Made Effortless and Professional

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivansh K. | Associate Software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I meeting summarizaiton feature is the best. I used it to record a meeting of evaluation of an intern in my organization and unfortunaltely the meeting lasted for more than an hour. I was worried as I didn't note down any notes in my notebook as well. But when I was going through fathrom recordings, I saw the call summary, also it had an option to regenerate via custom instructions. Oh my god, that saved my hours of work. I gave a nice prompt and a proper professional summary got generated and I was like, Damn, this is so cool. I am definitely using fathom for all my interviews and evaluations that I am gonna take. So easy, so time saving, simply fab.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

No, not at all. Currently I did not face any issues with it.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First is, meeting recordings, note taking, call summarization, report generation, meeting reminders. All these problems are being sorted by fathom for me.

 ### 47. Essential Meeting Tool with Powerful Free Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ernesto M. | Logistics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

You can get the important functionality like recording, reminders of meetings, automatic note taker and transcription for free. It does a great job at understanding what is being said and creating summaries of the meeting. The video playback online has useful features like adjustable playback speed or jump to second based on a line in the transcription that makes easier to find information from past meetings that went long.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

Sometimes it doesn't recognize a meeting to prompt you to add the note taker and remind you. Also, if you can't install new programs in your work computer then you can use it for Microsoft teams, that's why I had not tried it before but after trying it I'll request it to my IT team every time I get a new computer.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps record long meetings and offer a quick summary with a great online playback and transcription sent via email to all the participants. Sometimes when you record within Microsoft Teams the video is hard to share with internal and external accounts and the transcriptions are hard to use

 ### 48. Improving Project Visibility Through Call Summaries and Action Item Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

I really like the call summaries and the fact that I have a repository where I can easily access and review all my calls whenever I need to.

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

At the moment, I haven’t had any issues or anything I dislike about Fathom.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a project manager, there are times when I cannot attend every meeting. Having Fathom as a support tool helps me stay aligned with what was discussed, identify action items, and plan or adjust ongoing tasks with my team. This allows me to keep better track of responsibilities, follow-ups, and pending items without losing visibility.

 ### 49. Easy to Use, Affordable Recording Storage with Accurate Transcripts and Summaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

It's a very easy to use tool, it is very helpful to store recordings and always have the summary or transcript accessible. It is priced way better than storing recordings on Zoom and it offers very accurate transcripts and summaries compared to other such tools (like Otter).

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

I would like it to have the option for me to upload videos, so that it generates transcript (for videos not recorded with Fathom) but it's not a huge let down.

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were spending a lot of time to upload videos to the Drive, manually share them with customers and manually draft summaries for the follow up emails. Now this is totally streamlined and notes are also integrated with our CRM and churn management tools.

 ### 50. Call Clips That Speed Up Troubleshooting and Scale Team Knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drea V. | Managing Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Fathom?**

- the ability to save and forward highlight clips
- the monologue alert
- the countdown to next meeting in the status bar
- the ability to share notes or just video

**What do you dislike about Fathom?**

The interface can be clunky at times and the search can be problematic. Sometimes the share feature is wonky and external folks will still need to request

**What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to send clips from a call to different members of the organization is critical for putting out fires and troubleshooting tricky interactions that can be hard to reproduce. While this feature on its own helps us scale knowledge internally, it also enables us to provide faster support to our customers.
