"Pretty smooth ride!"

What do you like best?

When we transitioned from our internal IP phone system to the EvolveIP offering, their team involved with the transition was very knowledgeable and capable. They were ready to roll up their sleeves and help out with just about any task needed - even crawling under desks and plugging in phones. Additionally, as with the title, in the past 16 months, we have had a very good experience as well as a great up-time record with EvolveIP

What do you dislike?

As this company is growing and growing (a GOOD thing), it seems like their Support Desk personnel are sometimes a little behind in training/capabilities. This is primarily the front line. However, in EvolveIP's defense, they have an easy path for escalations - and on the very few occasions that I have escalated - things got remedied very quickly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Primarily, replacing a legacy on-prem IP telephony solution - lower cost, better management by our teams, more flexibility

"Easily Scalable VoIP"

What do you like best?

Their VoIP solutions have made it incredibly easy for us to open new office locations around the US and extend services to them from our HQ at minimal cost.

What do you dislike?

Online knowledge base help system is extremely limited, but ticket generation through their help desk is fast and easy and makes up for it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The EvolveIP system is so easy scalable that it allows us to setup phones and communication in new offices with minimal equipment and configuration. It also makes it extremely easy to integrate new offices into our phone systems and for the home office to field calls that are transferred out to the appropriate satellite offices and staff.

"The service is generally consistent."

What do you like best?

The voicemail is sent to email. I can manage most options without having to contact support. When I do have to contact support the response is quick and effecient.

What do you dislike?

users are not using the web portal as they should and user administration is cumbersome. It would be ideal if the unified phone/computer service was a standard instead of an add on feature. Our company has decided not to go this route so our phones are just that - phones. WE are using Skype and goto meeting for online conversations and meetings.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

From my experience, it seems to be well suited for more situations and environments. We even have work-from home users that have taken their handsets and plugged them in to their home routers and have reported a good experience while calling across a home network.

"Fully Featured Telephony Vendor"

What do you like best?

Account Management has been great, and I like that they provide self-management tools.

What do you dislike?

I wish the self-management tool was a little more user-friendly, but there are a LOT of features, and so I can imagine it's difficult trying to put them all together in a very intuitive interface.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Call centers and call routing for support and customer service. The features allow us to pretty much design our call flow and parameters how we want in order to best support our customers. Uptime and support for the rare issues has been outstanding.

"Very reliable VOIP phone system"

What do you like best?

The system is very reliable and have only had one major issue with it. This issue was not related to Evolve IP rather equipment failure.

What do you dislike?

The system compared to others are very expensive. The Osmosis Admin setup can be cumbersome to setup in the beginning and many steps for one change.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Supplies the ability for our entire company to be on one phone system regardless of physical location.

"Great Phone Solution"

What do you like best?

the desk line can travel with me anywhere. never miss a call of a message.

What do you dislike?

the only issue we have is some of our users don't understand that you do not need a physical phone anymore to make calls.

easy to use and set up was simple. makes work life easier knowing you can always take the call from where ever you are.

users working from home no longer have to rely on using there home\cell phones. they have the soft phone on laptop or the app on there cell phone. this saves them from charging up personal bill for company use.

"Evolve IP Revolutionizes"

Support - Evolve IP has one of the best support teams I've worked with during my career.

What do you dislike?

I've had my ups and downs with the Call Center, but the good thing about Evolve is that they take your suggestions and change things when you need it.

"Evovel IP VOIP service brings our many locations together"

What do you like best?

Evolve IP's VOIP service has made communications between offices much easier. We had separate PBX at 10 locations and rolled out Evolve IP's VOIP. This has enabled much better communication between offices. It's easy to dial someone by extension in any office. We've had an excellent experience with the VOIP system. Easy to update phone user info through Ossmosis portal. Office Managers and Admin Staff are able to setup Holiday greetings and hold music easily.

What do you dislike?

So far I have had no issues with the VOIP service from Evolve IP. The service has been very reliable.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Run both phone systems side by side during rollout phase to allow your users to get familiar with the phones.

Faster commutation between offices. Easy to find someone in the global directory. Conference calls and finding people have become super easy.

"Dependable and flexible phone system with excellent support"

What do you like best?

I like the flexibility of the product. We have about 50% of our users that have desk handsets and the other 50% that use solely softphones. The system works equally well in both cases. We also have users with a variety of needs and Evolve's different user levels allows us to mix and match to get the functionality that each user needs without having to pay for features that they don't.

What do you dislike?

The one enhancement that I would like to see is API access to the call data. It would be beneficial to us to be able to utilize that data within other applications and to aggregate that data with other metrics from a BI standpoint.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The biggest problems that were solved by going to an IP phone system from a on-premise PBX were no longer having to manage and support the hardware as well as increasing our availability of the phone service. For instance, if we lose power or network connectivity at the office location, a called will still reach the auto-attendant, calls can be forwarded to other numbers such as a user's cell phone, and voicemail messages will still be received as email attachments.

"Straightforward VoIP system"

What do you like best?

The quality of the calls is excellent. We have not had any problems with jitter or with dropped calls. Evolve supports a large number of phones from different vendors.

What do you dislike?

The integration to laptops leaves much to be desired. The options to manage voicemail are limited and there is little control over the "aging" of messages to delete them when they have been listened to and are a certain age.

We needed a new phone system to replace our old one when we changed offices.
