**What do you like best about Ooma Office?**

The Clear call quality was great, the software itself is very easy to navigate. Set up can be done with minimal effort.

**What do you dislike about Ooma Office?**

It was lacking realtime dashboard analytics features that we need for our day to day operations. Calling support was sometimes an issue, there is a language barrier and at times I would have to explain my issue multiple times so they could understand my inquiry. We were not able to easily integrate it with our other software.

**What problems is Ooma Office solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was a good option in terms of cost that offered quick and reliable communication with between our back office team and our technicians and customers.

**What do you like best about Ooma Office?**

Ooma is great. It has so many capabilities we didn't have before we started with them. They've really made our processes more efficient. Customers can text us, Ooma automatically sends our phones to the answering service if we're unavailable for a call or lines are down, you can route certain calls to certain numbers, they have chat or call in customer service if we're having problems, a dedicated marketing rep, etc. The possibilities are endless and it's so easy to use. It was simple to implement from the start and the hardware provided works great. We love Ooma!

I'm not really sure there are any. Very reasonably priced, great functionality, there's nothing I don't like.

Customer satisfaction - people love that they can text in, really appreciate the reroute to the answering service if I'm not available, and that has really improved customer satisfaction overall.

The last few months have had service issue after service issue.  Reaching customer support is practically impossible.

Make sure your number is portable BEFORE committing to the service.

The main problems we have solved is being able to now remotely do business with the use of the app and we also really like the virtual assistant that handles our calls after hours.

**What do you like best about Ooma Office?**

It was affordable for a tax-exempt non-profit.  Our bill for 2 phones was about $60 / month.  
Service options included in the monthly price were a fax line, a 1-800 number, a 3rd line, and an automated receptionist.  
Customer service was responsive.  
We could take our phones from the office to work from home as needed.

**What do you dislike about Ooma Office?**

Since the beginning, I had an issue with an extreme amount of spam calls (at least 6 daily on each phone).  I tried to register the phones on do not call (both state and fed), waited the 90 days and it did nothing to reduce the spam calls.  
The call quality was lacking.  There was a lag time between when I would speak and when the other person would hear me.  This caused issues of us seeming to talk over each other.  I would hear my own voice echo. 
Sometimes the WP810 Cordless Phones would not ring when a call came in and a voicemail indicator light would flash.  You would have to reboot the phone to get it to ring again.  
Customer service is ok.  Sometimes there is a language barrier.  The straw that broke the camel's back was regarding a tax on my monthly bill that was increasing over time.  I let it go for a while, but as a non-profit tax-exempt organization, we do not pay tax.  I inquired several times to have it removed and finally, 6 months later, the Ooma legal team responded that they would not remove it.

Ooma made office phones affordable for a non-profit organization.  The ability to set up the phones anywhere there was wireless internet (office, home, hotel) was a bonus.

**What do you like best about Ooma Office?**

Ooma makes it easy for me to manage calls coming into my business.  The system allows for me to have a automatic answering service that routes calls appropriately and reduces the need for me to answer inappropriate or unnecessary callers.

**What do you dislike about Ooma Office?**

I would like Ooma to offer an a-la-carte option for small businesses like mine that don't have multiple phones or staff.  Due to my location, I can't use Ooma's internet, and it has become quite costly to have Ooma's telephone and an alternate telephone provider.  If Ooma offered a lower rate for me to use just the two lines and no other phones for around $30 a month, it would be much more manageable.

**Recommendations to others considering Ooma Office:**

Ooma is a great solution for those seeking an easy to set up VoIP system that requires little maintenance, but has many options.  I do not use all of the available services, but know that I could if I needed them in the future.  Take the time to look through everything and review the system services when setting things up.

**What problems is Ooma Office solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduced the number of robo calls and spam that I receive.  It also directs calls to the right place so I am not receiving them on my personal phone.  I was able to create a personalized voicemail with the answering service that aligns with my business and sounds professional.

I like that once logged into the app, our phone calls can ring on devices logged into the app thus ensuring that we do not miss a client's call.

While the text feature is great, it is disappointing not to be able to conduct a search of the texts on the app version of Ooma.

Ooma allows us to be able to work remotely! We have three office locations and are able to service all three areas through one phone with all the calls ringing in the Ooma app.

Ooma Office has been amazing for our small non profit. The value and the service put it over any other company we have used. No more being on hold for hours to make adjustments or ask questions. I love the online access and how easy  it is to make changes. It was a huge asset during COVID when I had to make changes to our answering service from home. It was easy to set up and we use it every day.

We have occasional outages that can affect the phone service. We do have an issue trying to call members who have certain blocks on their phones to not allow VOIP calls.

What our old land line style phone company could not do we were able to do with Ooma and at a lower cost per month.  We relocated and the orginal company was insisting that we needed to change our phone number.  That would have meant a huge loss of business and many more dollars in sending out the change notices.  Ooma said, "not a problem. When do you want this to happen?"
Done within hours.  Happy ever after.

Ooma could use more choices of music on hold.

We used to miss calls becausse our phone system could not forward calls to our cellphones. No longer the case.  Every call gets answered - by the first available customer service person.

We would appreciate it if it had more APIs in other systems that we can link into for smoother transition between calls, especially call centers are holding meetings on the Ooma  meeting Platform which has to be other windows base or have a host to have other people connect in. This is different than using lysing team zoom or even Google works. I would say those are the biggest competitors on their platform for.meeting

**What do you like best about Ooma Office?**

So easy to use! App based and will work on your smart phone as well as act as it's own phone book. No need to integrate or allow access to your contacts if you don't want it, all you have to do is install the app once your company has a contract and you're good to go. Even works along side desk stations if you aren't remote or mobile. You can truly keep your company and personal contacts separate! It has a low entry price, and companies with tight budgets will like that it requires no annual contract.

**What do you dislike about Ooma Office?**

Username and password the only authentication option. You'll have to be assigned from whoever is the admin for the service. There is also no auto-call back feature.

**What problems is Ooma Office solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a fully hybrid office. Ooma has an app for iOS and Android mobile devices and for Windows and macOS desktops. I can get voicemails sent directly to my inbox for when cell service just isn't in the cards. Ooma also has desk phone options that are user friendly with solid construction and a clear display. The app offers the same level of quality as the desktop and has solved the hassle of juggling multiple phones no matter if you're at the home office or on site.

Ooma has made using our phones between offices super convenient. The ability to place customers on "Park" for others to pick up or just "Hold" to my own phone has helped avoid confusion in who is picking up what line. Forwarding calls to cell phones and the ability to read and received text messages to our "landline" number has been super helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about Ooma Office?**

Only complaint is that when the  internet goes down, so do our phones (as opposed to using a regular phone line)

Ability to take calls on the office line without having give out personal cell phone numbers has been extremely helpful in keeping business life out of our personal lives providing a great work-life-balance.

The virtual receptionist answers our phones and directs callers to the right place, freeing up our admin's time. Schedules and separate messages for when the office is closed is very helpful, directing straight to individual voicemail boxes.

The cost for the services offered is great and better than what Spectrum offers which is just phone service. I really enjoy the app for it is multifaceted as I can answer calls, check voicemail and faxes.

It's incredibly easy to use on multiple devices. I can seamlessly call from my desk phone, soft phone or app all from the sme number. It's easy to set up, and the customer service is fantastic. It's also very cost effective.

I haven't really found anything that I dislike about Ooma Office.

I can use it from anywhere, and transfer devices seamlessly. 
I've operated my business remotely in the US, Brasil and Peru with no problems at all.

Love the app. It keeps me in  touch with my clients even when I am not in the office. The fax comes in handy as well.

Love the fact that I can check voice mails on my computer andeven read them not only on the comptuer by my phone.

Ooma is very easy to setup and manage. The flexibility to have it connected directly to the phones or the desktop app is seemless.

The flaw of Ooma, is the flaw of any internet phone provider, when the internet goes down, so do the phones.

**What do you like best about Ooma Office?**

Currently Ooma is not the company they were 5 years ago. Ooma use to be a great service. I used them for 12 years. However do not be decieved with the older reviews as they are not the same today.

**What do you dislike about Ooma Office?**

Customer service is non-existent. The upper management will say anything when in a tight spot, then forget they have said it. Their support does not provide accurate information. Told phones could be moved, just have to remove from ooma account, then afterwards say "no you cannot move the phones". If you would like to have frustration, choose ooma!

**What problems is Ooma Office solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NONE - causing more issues in my life. Phones (with ooma name on them) fail to work. Several phones were replaced in just 3 months. Some issues are the handset mic going out, the light on buttons going out, the phone being online but the web interface stating the phone is offline, Dropped calls, "echoing" on calls sporadically - and the list goes on

**What do you like best about Ooma Office?**

The best thing about Ooma is the great and helpful customer service. Every time I have a problem the customer service department is there to help and provide support. There desktop office phones are also very good quality and the voice is very clear. They also seem to be constantly making improvements and updates to their products.

**What do you dislike about Ooma Office?**

The mobile and PC Apps, more specifically the lack of interconnectivity between the accounts and apps across devices, the general user experience and lack of basic features.
Examples:
- Having to constantly manually reload apps to show updated information
- Unstable apps or having trouble with connectivity
- Mobile app passing calls through phone app making it hard to know when it is an Ooma call unless you answer
- Unable to add contacts in account that will transfer/propogate to all apps
- Unable to block callers or spam texts
- SMS/Text messaging is unreliable sometimes

**What problems is Ooma Office solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the main service/product that I use to communicate with clients. All the calls and text messages to and from my clients are made through Ooma.
