What do you like best about Synthflow?

Despite its bugs and limitations, there's no denying that Synthflow has huge potential. When everything works, it's truly impressive what you can build with its voice assistants. The possibilities for automating calls and creating personalized experiences are powerful.

That said, reaching that point takes patience—expect weird bugs, a steep learning curve, and reliance on external platforms. But if you manage to work through those hurdles, the platform can become a very powerful tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Synthflow?

My experience with Synthflow has been quite frustrating. Custom actions fail without any clear reason; in several cases, just integrating them directly with the AI breaks the entire bot flow, even if the action isn’t executed.

It shows strange, hard-to-diagnose errors, making it tedious and unintuitive to build anything useful. On top of that, you can't send data directly to the AI from the interface—you’re forced to rely on external platforms just to pass basic values like a phone number or variable.

And the pricing... completely disproportionate. The basic plan is so limited it doesn’t even allow for proper testing of your assistant. It's not accessible for those who want to get started or evaluate the tool realistically. A major letdown. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Synthflow?

The quality of the voices and I finally found a good Australian accent. When the prompt is working, it's fluent which is promising and exciting for our organisation. I look forward to learning this tool more and hopefully harnessing it's power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Synthflow?

We are very new to Synthflow so we are still in testing mode.

What I'm personally finding is that the help articles aren't specific enough for our purposes. I personally don't always prefer video content, both video and written content is nice to have, but written content is often easier to scan when time is limited.

Also good examples of use cases and perhaps examples throughout the help articles would be far more helpful. Everything that I've looked through is too basic for our needs. I also do not believe we need to hire an expert, but having the correct reference material to get up and running is all I need.

I have not yet been able to get my agent to successfully reference the knowledge base unfortunately, and from my research so far, it seems that this isn't always advised but it's difficult to know this from the Synthflow material when trying to get started. What do you like best about Synthflow?

The speed at which you can launch an AI voice assistant is impressive; within minutes, you have a fully functional agent with very realistic call quality, making it easy to integrate into marketing campaigns or customer service.

The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, featuring drag-and-drop tools that allow you to create complex conversational flows without needing technical or programming skills.

The platform offers great flexibility with integrations to CRMs, management systems, and third-party tools like Zapier and HubSpot, significantly boosting automation and productivity.

The AI capabilities for natural language understanding, text generation and summarization, and task automation such as sales follow-up, lead generation, and appointment scheduling are robust and well-executed.

What do you dislike about Synthflow?

The voice during calls sometimes glitches — it frequently gets stuck saying drawn-out, unclear words such as "fooooooondeeeeoooo," as if the voice is stuttering. Additionally, the volume tends to drop during testing, which affects call quality.

The learning curve for advanced features can be a bit steep for users without prior experience in conversational flow design.

Advanced customization of voice tone and speed is somewhat limited; some users might want more control to better tailor the experience.

The pricing model based on predefined minutes can be less flexible compared to other options that allow purchasing credits as needed.

What do you like best about Synthflow?

So far using Synthflow to set up an AI voice agent has been a great experience. I am impressed with how easy it has been with creating the customer service agent. I spent only 30 minutes in setting up the agent before trying it out and was impressed with the call we did. The only information I gave it was a link to our website and edited the generic template. It was exciting to know that with a few more hours my agent will be onboarded and able to answer service questions way faster than a new employee ever could. This is wonderful and I think it will add a much better customer experience for us. I am not a technical person and this part of the application was easy to figure out. What do you dislike about Synthflow?

I wish the knowledge base could be edited once input. I copy and pasted some training materials into the document section. There isn't a way to edit the document once you save it - that I could tell. Maybe this is just in the trial version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most is obviously what they offer, which for me is the ability to outsource their AI bot services in my country as a company which provides those services. What do you like best about Synthflow?

Setting up the service took some getting used to but the guides and documentation made it as easy as possible. Once things got up and running the test calls worked out great. The voice options through ElevenLabs make it real world usable. We are currently replacing an expensive and ineffective outbound call center with these AI Sales Agents. Not only are the test calls already sounding better than the live service we were using, the ability to train the agent once and know that it's going to reliably perform day in and day out is a huge weight off my shoulders. Also, the integrations make it so we can fully automate our outbound process including setting calendar appointments, updating CRM, and sending follow-up emails. What do you like best about Synthflow?

Honestly, I was surprised how easy it was to get started. I didn’t have to dig through a bunch of docs or menus—just jumped in and started building right away. The interface is super clean, and the AI responses are faster and more natural than I expected. It actually feels like something I could use for real projects, not just a demo. Since I’m still pretty new to the platform, some parts feel a little unclear—like when the AI gives a strange response, it’s not always obvious why.
