**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I use ElevenLabs primarily for text-to-speech and voice generation tasks, and I’ve found it to be a powerful and flexible voice AI platform. The voices sound smooth, natural, and expressive compared to many other TTS tools. One standout feature is the ability to train or clone custom voices, which saves time and makes content feel more professional. I appreciate the multilingual voice support as it offers several languages and accents, which is very useful for reaching a global audience. I like the exceptional voice quality and realism, which makes a huge difference compared to traditional text-to-speech tools. The voice cloning and customization feature allows me to maintain a strong, recognizable audio identity. I'm impressed by the emotional control and intonation that capture pauses, emphasis, and tone very well. I also find the fast generation speed and easy-to-use interface valuable, making it suitable for professional content. While ElevenLabs is a powerful tool, there are a few areas where it could be improved. One of the main challenges is pricing at higher usage levels. Another area is fine-grained control over pronunciation and pacing. Although overall voice quality is excellent, there are occasional mispronunciations or pacing issues that require manual text adjustments or trial-and-error to correct. I’ve also noticed that advanced features have a learning curve. Custom voice creation and detailed tuning can take time to fully understand, especially for new users who want precise control.

I really like the choice of models ElevenLabs offers; it really stands out to me. The voice cloning capability and the RAG retrieval capability are also impressive, as is the ability to create multiple agents and voices. I think the breadth of the product is amazing. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and the voice-guided agent on the site is really intelligent. It's able to respond extremely well to specific questions and guide any setup-related requirements.

The pricing is really, really expensive. To actually run products at the kind of pricing that they have.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I use ElevenLabs to communicate with others after losing my ability to speak due to a brain injury. I appreciate that some relay apps work with the cloned voice ElevenLabs created for me, and this helps a lot compared to the very robotic-sounding voices of other text-to-speech software. The initial setup of ElevenLabs was easy.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I'm still trying to figure out how to use ElevenLabs, and I haven't been able to return to work yet because I can't get my cloned voice to work on Zoom calls or Teams video calls. My cloned voice tone is off, and it doesn't pronounce numbers correctly. In some cases, like with the number 5, it doesn't pronounce them at all. Also, I'm unable to use it online or on phone relay programs like Nagish.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ElevenLabs to communicate after losing my ability to speak. It solves the robotic voice problem of other services by providing a cloned voice, preventing hang-ups in critical calls.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I really like the voice quality of ElevenLabs. It's the best we've figured out, offering far better quality compared to other models we've tried. It handles interruptions very nicely with its turn-taking capabilities, something we've always wanted in our LLMs. I find the expressive voice features of ElevenLabs to be very nice.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I think the pricing could be improved. While the quality is really nice, the cost is a bit too much for integrating all our workflows into ElevenLabs. If the pricing was better, it would help us migrate everything smoothly. Another thing is the lack of end-to-end logging and tracing. It would be helpful to have a way to distinguish any latency between our system and ElevenLabs or in generating the voice itself. These improvements would be nice, especially when scaling production systems.

ElevenLabs solves the problem of real-time conversational quality for our AI agents, providing superior voice quality compared to open source models. It handles interruptions well, offering expressive and human-like voices that enhance our workflows.

I really like the audio quality in ElevenLabs; it's top-notch. The ability to generate full songs with or without lyrics is incredible. It saves me from having to generate content by hand, which would involve hiring musicians or artists—this would be expensive and tedious. Plus, it fits seamlessly into the game development workflow.

Occasionally, the instructions become lyrics in the content, which is a bug. I've heard some tracks sing 'create a 15-second clip...' which is amusing but not something that works for my product.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I have been working on my NLP projects using their API in Python. IMOM also has state-of-the-art voice cloning quality. I like that we can control stability and similarity settings programmatically. Latency is quite low, which benefits our real-time chatbot demonstrations.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

If you want to create audio for multiple large datasets, the prices are high. Sometimes it just takes too many samples to fine-tune the custom models. You need to handle Indian names pronunciation and sometimes manual tweaking is needed in text.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are creating AI agents that respond to the voice. We pipeline our LLM output through to the ElevenLabs API directly. It humanizes our AI models Making it sound like a real person. It enables us to deliver realistic demos to our stakeholders without the need of any manual voiceover recording.

I like ElevenLabs because it allows me to feel more confident when I'm doing my videos. The tool's ability to clone my voice is something I value a lot. I have an accent, and by using ElevenLabs to clone my voice, it becomes clearer, preventing misinterpretation of what I'm saying and helping viewers understand my content better. I also appreciate that when I listen to my videos, it's my voice in a clearer tone, making my content feel more personal and authentic.

I think the section for modifying the voice needs to be more user-friendly because most of the terms in that section are not understood by the regular person.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I love the integration offered by ElevenLabs as well as the low latency, which is very useful for following conversations and trying to debug. It's good. The communications around your YouTube channel are also very good. The YouTube videos and tutorials you provide are excellent. You have created a library of components in Next.js and React, which made our integration very easy. With well-done documentation and good code, we were able to integrate your components quite quickly.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

It is quite complicated to find pleasant and friendly French voices, as there are too many voices from Quebec or Belgian French, which give particular accents. The range of voices is quite limited. I am also quite disappointed with the default model gemini-2.5 flash, which worked well some time ago, but has not been functioning for a week. The gemini 3.0 flash is unable to call the tools and often crashes. The errors suggest that your agent suites are drifting. I have no logs to understand these issues, which makes me think that the solution is more suited for prototyping than for large-scale evolution. It will eventually become too expensive, and I won't have the control to scale. I am not sure about continuing to use it to convince a financier or a board of its viability since it is too limited for the general public.

I use ElevenLabs to make my site dynamic and show that we are ahead of the market. The tool allows easy integration of my data and gives me a competitive advantage thanks to its low latency and ease of use.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I love the voice realism of ElevenLabs, which has eliminated the need for paid voice actors and voices that sound robotic. As a Greek company, we struggled with bad accents using less advanced services, but ElevenLabs handles the Greek accent perfectly, achieving native Greek realism. The software's ability to understand prompts and fix voices is impressive, as it often achieves the best voice for our projects by the second or third prompt correction. I also appreciate the ability to save voices, ensuring they always sound realistic and different for each project group. The setup was easy and straightforward, and after a few tries, we started creating acceptable voiceovers. For voice creation, I would rate it a 10, while video creation gets a 7.5.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I think the tool that creates captions, if you make corrections at the auto-generated text, after the corrections it creates the voice again. Sometimes we just need to create the caption text, not regenerate the voice. Make a little less tricky the video creations tools, voice creation is more polished and straightforward.

I use ElevenLabs to create realistic voiceovers, saving on hiring voice actors and avoiding robotic sounds. It delivers time and cost efficiency by easily correcting prompts to get the perfect voice. Plus, it captures the perfect Greek accent which other services failed to achieve.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I like that ElevenLabs has a fairly low barrier as far as figuring out how to use the tool. I also like that there are examples already set out, making it easier to understand how to use it. I appreciate being able to find other background audio tracks and then being able to edit those or adapt a prompt.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I did find the background music generation relatively confusing to use. It looks as though there's a library you can pull down directly other tracks that people generated, however, these files were pretty unfriendly to work with or the audio wasn't coming over even though the file was there. My main complaint is the ability to put pauses in speech that is generated. Sometimes there was a lack of ability to control the pacing of the audio file that was being generated for the text to speech. That might be a user limitation, meaning that I just don't know how to do it.

I use ElevenLabs to freely edit scripts and generate text files for informational movie use. It helps me overcome voice insecurities by utilizing AI voices for informational video editing.

I really appreciate how fast and practical ElevenLabs is, and I think it's offered at a kinda good price. I also find the voice changer feature particularly valuable because I have my own accent, and this tool allows me to upload my voice and change it to a real accent for my UGC scripts. The initial setup was very easy, which makes it even more amazing.

Sometimes I can't switch that. For example, you end in a sentence, and then there's some kind of pause in between. And, sometimes it just doesn't sound natural.

I like how easy the API of ElevenLabs was to set up. It took about fifteen minutes when we set it up, and it was all complete. It was really easy, and I managed to get the API and everything working within fifteen minutes.

I think that the mood indicators could be improved. When it was actually outputted, it said things like 'sarcastic, I'm sarcastic, so sarcastic happy,' which didn't really make sense. I think it'd be better to have an easier option to remove the mood indicators from text to speech.

I use ElevenLabs to create voice and personality, so I don't have to make my own setup. It simplifies the process by allowing me to prompt it to give a personality.

Without a doubt, these are the most realistic AI voices I’ve heard. The emotional range feels unmatched, and every voice sounds incredibly natural—so natural, in fact, that it’s almost scary.

At times, the voices aren’t consistent across multiple generations. If you’re trying to use the same voice for several chunks of voiceover, this can sometimes become an issue.

I create instructional videos for our product, and we need an engaging voice to narrate them and clearly explain how users can use the product and achieve their goals. We’ve tried other voice-over software, but the results were obviously AI-ish and came across as robotic. With ElevenLabs, we no longer worry that our videos will sound unprofessional.

I really love the very realistic voices from ElevenLabs. The ability to generate them very quickly is a big advantage, and the files are not too large. Additionally, the special effects service is very useful.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I find it unfortunate to have a limited quota for text-to-speech and not be able to use some quotas from other features for text-to-speech. There are things I don't use and I would just like more quotas on text-to-speech. Moreover, the page shakes every time during two-factor authentication, it would be nice to fix that.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ElevenLabs allows me to have human voices for complete immersion in exercises, which is very beneficial. I like the realistic voices, the speed of generation, the lightness of the files, and the special effects service.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I like the text to speech functionality using my personal professional voice. I'd like to use more of the features, but getting text to speech to work has been enough of a challenge.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

ElevenLabs user interface is almost impossible to figure out and the documentation is terrible. I haven't been able to find documentation on some features. I don't think it is updated when they release enhancements. 

So far, I have not been able to get a usable recording of my text even though I created a professional voice of myself with over two hours of sample recordings. Until I can actually use ElevenLabs in production, I won't recommend it. If I can't get it to work, I will end my subscription.

I want to use text to speech at least. But, it is not benefitting me yet as I haven't been able to get it to work. Eventually, I'd like to use it to create video, transcribe audio, and other features.

I like using ElevenLabs for its AI voice cloning and text-to-speech with generic AI voices. It's easy to use and allows us to add audio options to written content on our website without tasking employees with reading and recording that content. I also enjoy that generations are pretty fast, helping me and my team save time. The initial setup of ElevenLabs was very easy.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

For the cloning tool, when technical jargon is clearly stated in the training files, it should carry over into using that voice clone with text-to-speech. If I upload a file with product names clearly stated, that should carry over to when I use that voice to turn text into speech. I've been taking the generations and editing them slightly in Davinci Resolve to make it sound more natural and remove the synthetic sound of the AI generations.

I use ElevenLabs to add audio to website content without needing employees to record it, saving me and my team time. It's easy to use, and generations are pretty fast.

I use ElevenLabs to generate very realistic voices, and the quality is unmatched compared to other tools I've tried. I really enjoy the audiobooks feature; I can input a very long word file, and it effortlessly creates an entire mp3 audio file. The initial setup was very easy, and everything has worked great for me. I use other AI tools to generate content that ElevenLabs then converts to voice. I tried a lot of local TTS tools, and none come close to the quality and performance of ElevenLabs.

Nothing. ElevenLabs is truly amazing.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I like the professional voice clone feature of ElevenLabs very much. It is really good at mimicking the voice of the real person, almost 95% accurate. It gives me so many features, including the recently added imagine video models that allow me to generate video content. I find it really nice and helpful, and I use normal text-to-speech too. It offers many options of different types of voices, and I can create new voices using the voice design feature. It's really helpful. These features save my time as I don't have to rerecord if I make any mistakes; I just have to write a script, and it solves the time problem. It's really valuable for generating my voice easily.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I think the voice models can still be improved. It's at 90-95% good, but if it can clone the voice 100%, it would be really amazing. Also, sometimes the image and video models do not work like there are some issues with that. They can resolve it.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ElevenLabs for voice cloning to save time on recording. It mimics voices well, reducing retakes. The imagined video feature is also great, allowing me to generate videos and use various models.

I don't like the lack of user control. When I export the sound file, I cannot select mono or stereo, which means I have to run batch scripts to convert them to mono. The biggest issue for me though is sound volume. The same narrator can speak with different volumes within a chapter. For example, one paragraph might be normal volume, and then another is loud, which is inconsistent. The AI generated sound effects are also a bit basic, and the library of sounds is not extensive. Setting up ElevenLabs initially was a bit of a pain because I couldn't change the Project Title after it was assigned.

While I do add audio to video, I find that the controls are not quite advanced enough for detailed video editing. My usual process is to sync the video to the voice, not the other way around. Another challenge I’m facing is with adjusting the generated music to fit the emotional context of the text used for the voice. I’m not sure if I just haven’t learned the right workflow yet or if this feature is missing. Currently, I mark emotional tones in Audacity, then use an AI tool (Perplexity Pro) to help me come up with suitable prompts for ElevenLabs to achieve the emotional effect I want, and then return to ElevenLabs to apply them.

I need a way for the AI voice to stress certain words, especially in dialogue, in my audio projects. If I could do that, 90% of my issues with ElevenLabs would be resolved. Most of my regenerations are due to incorrect stress and trying to gbet a sentence voiced the way I want. Ideally, it would be great to have the ability to specify light, medium, or heavy stress to specific words in a sentence. Also, although finding the right voice for my characters was a problem, it's now largely solved thanks to the voice design creator V3 feature. Another issue is that we have been subject to many changes in the format of ElevenLabs Studio screen recently. I'm hoping this will settle down soon.

There are too many voice glitches, and the credit system feels too expensive. Because of that, my credits sometimes get depleted too early.

I like ElevenLabs for its intuitive and easy-to-use interface. The voice generations are very fast, making the process seamless. Generating good voices for product demos is instant, and I can make as many changes as I want.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

The mobile app needs some improvement. I've had instances where I try to generate a voice over for a script, and while credits was deducted, no voice was generated. The desktop version works reliably though.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It replaces the need for voice actors in demos, saving time and cost. I can generate and revise voiceovers instantly, which streamlines our workflow.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I love using ElevenLabs for creating expressive voices, especially because of its expressive TTS and Instant Voice Cloning features. I find it unique and something I don't find elsewhere. It's also great for making videos, and I haven't found anything better elsewhere. Plus, the initial setup was quite easy, which is a nice bonus.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

Even though it's expressive, I can easily tell it's an AI voice, especially as a filmmaker or editor. I want it to sound natural. The natural feel in TTS is really missing. Also, voice cloning accuracy can be improved. Some clones get it right instantly, but others need trial and error. The error rate could be reduced.

**What problems is ElevenLabs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ElevenLabs to make videos using expressive voices and voice cloning. It helps me create my content effectively, and I haven't found anything better elsewhere.

**What do you like best about ElevenLabs?**

I use ElevenLabs for narration on my YouTube channel, and I'm really satisfied with it. It saves me a lot of time because, within seconds, my audio is generated, and the voice consistency is fantastic. I even received compliments on the voice, which just shows how original and not robotic it sounds sometimes. Compared to other tools like Minimax and Google AI Studio, ElevenLabs consistently provides the same voice quality, which is essential for my projects. The ease of use is another big plus since I just paste my script and get my audio immediately. Additionally, getting 10k free credits was a nice bonus when starting out. Some of the voices in ElevenLabs sound so natural that they're part of the reason I switched from Minimax.

**What do you dislike about ElevenLabs?**

I feel it's a little bit expensive compared with others, and sometimes I'm wasting my credits because some Indian words are not pronounced correctly.

The extensive multilingual dubbing capabilities are also a big plus, helping to make content accessible to a global audience. I find it effective to pair ElevenLabs with AI video generators like Synthesia for creating AI avatars that speak the generated audio, as well as with writing assistants like ChatGPT to bring scripts to life. Moreover, the initial setup is very easy and beginner-friendly, with an intuitive dashboard that doesn't require any machine learning background.

While ElevenLabs is praised for its high-quality, realistic AI voices, users and reviews point out several areas that could be improved, particularly regarding pricing transparency, customer support, and specific audio generation inconsistencies. It's also very advanced for video editing. I like that it generates exactly what is instructed, that's the magic of ElevenLabs. Voice overs and voice mixing are enjoyable, and I create digital learning reels with it, which is great for educating my followers. My team has transitioned to using ElevenLabs from a manual tool that required more instructions, and it has turned into a more automated experience. Over time, it has become the most useful AI tool in our portfolio.

More features should be available for free or trial version for gaining user reliability.
