What do you like best?

An extremely reliable, frictionless, and secure checkout process. We struggled for years with our one-page checkout with no real solutions insight without a complete migration. Bolt allowed us to breathe new life into the website and convert those customers that ordinarily would experience resistance when checking out. We originally thought this would be a temporary payment provider until we migrated carts but as we see the product evolve, we now plan on being customers for much much longer. Conversion rate. Customers already had decided to make a purchase on our website, but they could just not complete the transaction. Too often we would hear of customers' feedback on how difficult it was for them to place an order, or error messages they received during that process. It was like a light switch after deploying Bolt, the calls just stopped and we were able to get an idea of how much business was actually lost due to that poor experience. What do you like best?

Have had a great experience with everyone I've worked with. If it isn't something available they will push it along to see if the change can be made. They have even ear market product issue to get ahold of me when the problem is changed in the future. Usually get a response with in 24 if not a lot sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Nothing I can really complain of yet. Been a good experience. Would like an easier way of knowing they are fighting my chargebacks other than check on my Braintree dashboard every day. An email saying we are on top of this and then this is resolved or covered would help peace of mind. Have had a lot of charge backs pop up recently and need that reassurance they you have us covered. One option that is available to have added but requires someone at bolt to do it. Is add a temporary message to the bolt check out. This would be an excellent option from the dashboard. I like to make it clear to customers ordering during the holidays that we won't we shipping till after we return from the holidays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bolt checkout icon may not show up for customers with poor internet connection. Working on installing a permanent check out button on our Bigcommerce page. This will allow the checkout button to show up even if the customer currently has low internet. Had a big problem with this a few weeks ago when Comcast was experiencing issue nationwide. Had a handful of customers complaining they couldn't see the check out button and didn't have an idea why till someone posted on social media that Comcast was experiencing problems nationwide. What do you like best?

I like that it's easier for my customers to buy things on my website. I love that bolt has a fraud protection component. We have had SIGNIFICANTLY less chargebacks while using Bolt compared to years of Paypal. And their customer service is fantastic and very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Bolt let's us spend less time worrying about fraud and lets us focus on getting our products to our customers. Their tech support team consistently goes above and beyond with helping us stay up to date. They've been a tremendous asset for us as our site continues to grow. What do you like best?

Bolt is very merchant-friendly and will do everything they can to help you be a success. This includes their own quality assurance when integrating, proactively reaching out about new features and changes, and constantly evolving their product based on customer feedback and real world testing.

Whenever I have a question, my account manager at Bolt always responds within a couple of hours with the solution. Their general customer service support line is also top-notch and almost always has the answer in their first response -- within a couple of hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The downside is the higher fees when using Bolt. At the same time, they also take a lot off your plate - split testing checkout, general checkout improvements, and the entire checkout process. We also didn't see an uptick in conversions like we hoped but we may be the outlier. Bolt has still been worth it simply because they take the entire checkout experience off our plate. What do you like best?

Our checkout system looks cleaner and it is easy to navigate. Clients noticed our transition and were happy with the new look of the checkout system. Additionally, if an issue ever arises the Bolt Support team is ready to help and figure out the issue. They are very helpful and transparent! What do you dislike?

We've been running into many backend issues causing our customers to not checkout. Additionally, the fraud detection system that is set in place doesn't flag certain criteria that we would categorize as fraud. Recommendations to others considering the product:

To see if the fraud detection system will meet their needs. For example, we do not ship to freight forwarders and before bolt, we would flag any order over $300. These are our personal flags for fraud, unfortunately, Bolt is not able to help us detect these specific orders. In the beauty industry, we deal with many resellers or sus international individuals who want to resell our products. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When checking out, customers were receiving a "Delivery Not Available" alert causing many customers to reach out for support. Customers were not able to check out due to a character limit, but BOLT will be changing the alert so customers can break their shipping address into two lines. What do you like best?

The checkout experience is significantly more streamlined and efficient from a UX perspective, than the standard Magento 2 checkout. The standard Magento checkout was taking 30-40 seconds to load and it was hurting our conversion rate. The Bolt checkout on our site now loads in one second which is a vast improvement. We've been very pleased with the increase in conversion rates that we have seen since moving to Bolt.

The integration process was quite smooth, especially with Bolt's Magento 2 extension. I've also been impressed with their support team. Whenever we've had a question they've been very quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There's really not much to dislike. When we first launched there were a couple minor features that we wish Bolt had, like being able to add multiple gift cards and promo codes, but a couple months in and they have already updated the checkout to be able to support the extra features we were looking for. What do you like best?

The checkout process is fast and easy for our customers. This has lead to a higher conversation rate, increased sales, and at the same time eliminating fraudulent chargebacks. Bolt really solved all of our checkout issues.

When orders are deemed fraud (permanently rejected) the customer is not notified until the order has already been canceled. Luckily this will be addressed soon, with the ability for additional communication to the customer explaining the order is on hold until the customer can provide additional additional information for authentication. What do you like best?

Bolt has been a huge win for TYLER'S. From the quick and easy integration to their on going development efforts to ensure a fast, secure, simple checkout. We used to waste tons of time scanning for fraud orders with our old, inherited checkout, but now we're able to double down on true customer base. Any issue we've had has been resolved quickly by the Bolt support team, and they've come in clutch on more than one occasion for our customer support team. That's easy to say from a high level perspective, but my team constantly mentions how responsive and professional their staff is. This has easily been one of the smartest solutions we've deployed since I've been managing the e-commerce department at TYLER'S. We run an extremely lean team so finding solutions like Bolt is crucial to ensure we beat our customer expectations, while also maintaining strategic long term growth. What do you dislike?

I think this boils down to perspective. Anytime I've had a notion that maybe I should change something or see another feature added on, Bolt has come through with a mindful solution that keeps the end consumer as the focal point of our mission. Our account manager has been stellar at ensuring we understand why one idea might seem good on paper, or at first glance, but that it could ultimately deter a customer or increase cart abandonment. With our previous checkout, our fraud detection and prevention was falling behind and becoming unsatisfactory. Couple that with running a small team and problems become unmanageable quickly. What do you like best?

Bolt's checkout program is top tier in my opinion. The only thing it is rivaled by is their phenomenal customer service. Having used the stock WooCommerce checkout and receiving frustrated calls from customers, we knew a change needed to take place. After changing to Bolt, we have not once looked back.

Their customer service is fast, friendly, understanding, and always works until the problem is solved.

Another huge part about Bolt that is a plus is its business model. Essentially, they have created their own incentive to make a better and better product. It's not just about processing charges for them, its about making the entire checkout process as seamless and easy as possible for our customers, which in turn makes sales for us, which in turn boosts their earnings. What do you dislike?

What do you like best?

What I like best about Bolt is the speed in which customers can check out. The process is very simple with very little amount of clicks or re-directs. Our follow through on online ordering has increased greatly since we switched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

So far, the only thing I can think of that I dislike is that sometimes refunds do not go through, due to VISA's new authorizations required for refunds. So Bolt is in charge of capturing all the authorizations and payments for everything, but once they can't successfully process a refund, it turns to the user's responsibility to get the customer their money. I feel like Bolt should be in charge of securing payments and also processing refunds, no matter what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

CX is lean and quick, almost all options included in the modal, most of the testing has already been done for you. Great support team to work with for any testing options you would like to run within the modal, never really had an issue with functionality that needed support. What do you like best?

The support at Bolt is second to none. They are EXTREMELY responsive, even after hours and address any issues expeditiously and most importantly with common sense. The software itself functions very seamlessly and we absolutely love not having to worry about fraud at all which is sadly rampant in the automotive industry. We NEVER have to worry about fraud..EVER. All of our orders are pulled, packed and shipped right away without hesitating to worry about chargebacks. We just shipped a $5500 order that was backed and indemnified by Bolt and without them, this order would have been next to impossible to facilitate. We absolutely love how Bolt has freed up our operation from combating fraud and handling chargebacks. Not quite sure how we functioned without it. What do you like best?

Bolt is not just a payments processor, but the perfect system built with various checkout optimizations in mind. With tons of A/B testing over the years they have created a frictionless checkout experience for customers. The cart load times are extremely fast which is good for mobile customers. Since they got rid off unnecessary fields during checkout, customers have to type less and also click less and the average time to complete the entire checkout is way faster than the industry average. What I love about bolt is that they also provide 100% coverage for fraudulent charges. They make sure that more of the actual legitimate good orders are approved and not denied because of traditional verification methods. Your repeat customers or if that person has used Bolt checkout elsewhere, they won't have to fill out the payment and shipping details again, making the checkout experience even more faster. What do you like best?

We like the fraud protection, not having to try to collect or guess whether or not an order is going to be fraudulent. The service we get knowing that everyone that wants to order has a friction-free experience and won't trigger faulty spam filters is also great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

We had a challenging integration to start, but Bolt Support has been amazing to work with. They did it all and worked countless hours to make sure we were up and running with a smooth checkout flow for our customers as well as keeping to our branding Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Just do it. Get more people through your checkout flow. The setup process is super easy on your part. Bolt takes care of the entire integration and continues its maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Fraud detection and prevention. We never realized how many good orders we were losing out on and so it is great to be able to service quality customers with a pain free checkout process. Our customer service team used to have to contact every customer with a "large" order to try to validate whether they were valid or fraudulent. It was kind of like roulette. This big headache is now gone and customer service can now go back to focusing on making customers happy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
