What do you like best about Trainual?

I was able to put together our company's training program in just a few hours. It's very easy to use. I was under the gun with a live training the next day and I knew I needed a place to put it and a system of training. I was able to pull together the first module in a very short amount of time with a video, powerpoint, reference documents and a test. In the past six months we've put together 25 modules for our consultants and analysts. In addition, we are capturing job descriptions and task-specific training for our support staff. By this time next year, we'll have captured all our internal processes, job descriptions, and training. I'm very excited. It's simple to use and has transformed our company. We are now hiring 10+ people a month and it has made bringing them up to speed so much faster. Most importantly, as the President and founder of the company, I'm getting things out of my head to where everyone can learn without me having to conduct the training. What do you dislike about Trainual?

I wish it was universally searchable and easier to navigate. I'd like to be able to add tags. We have a LOT of documents and I wish we could tag them for easier search. We are putting them up by topic and date, but most people would prefer to type in a topic/tag and find the specific document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Trainual:

If my 77-year old receptionist can learn how to use this, it's easy. Ease of use is much more important than lots of bells and whistles. We had a really expensive Learning Managment System that we NEVER used even though we paid tens of thousands of dollars for it, because it was too hard to use. I set up our first training module in less than an hour without having to read the manual. By the time I needed the "help" function, we had created several modules. "Trainual makes my life easier"

What do you like best about Trainual?

Trainual allows me to create systems, and it is systems that make everything easier. The options within Trainual allow me to make it "my own" by creating groups and subjects and organizing the content.

One of the best parts is that our team "bought in" to using it and the users love it! Easy to find the information and training they are using it for. Someone on the team is in the system daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

Once I had the system designed and populated there have been no real downsides. The work has to go in on the front end learning the system and some trial and error on setting it up the way you ultimately want it to work and your purpose for using it in the first place. That's true of any new system and Trainual isn't immune to it. The training videos do make the process easier as well as the direct support I received from the support group. What problems is Trainual solving and how is that benefiting you?

Repetitive questions are now answered with, "If you look at Trainual you'll find what you're looking for, and it has more detail than what I can give you here."

Onboarding no longer requires face to face training on company policy and systems. Here's one of best parts: I can require people to complete certain parts or they continue to be reminded that they haven't completed all the requirements. That's really important for Industry and Company compliance. I know who has completed which parts and who has not.

Training now includes some self directed training opportunities while other training is structured with a specific sequence required: you must complete A before you go to B. This is a great benefit to me because certain content must be learned in a sequence while other content can be completely self directed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate how Trainual saves time by reducing the need for in-person training. Staff can self-train using clear information on systems and processes, ensuring consistency and saving time on onboarding and new processes. I value Trainual's structured playbooks, step-by-step process documentation, and onboarding paths the most. They make it easy for staff to self-train, ensure consistency, and reduce the need for in-person training. Additionally, the initial setup was straightforward and easy to follow. I use Trainual for onboarding new employees, HR policies and procedures, and as a 'wiki' for company operations. Trainual makes our content more digestible and easier to find, unlike our previous system, WorkRamp. The AI features are great, especially for content creation, enhancing confidence in finding information. I also like the 'rewrite' features, which allow me to adjust the writing style without altering the content. "Streamlines Training, But Searchability Needs Work"

What do you like best about Trainual?

I like that it's easy to add content to Trainual. It's simple to add PDFs, links, GIFs, and spreadsheets, which makes it very easy to add the content we need. I also appreciate the visual appearance of the platform. Often we're adding PDFs for individuals to access easily, and they can download them without hassle. It's great to be able to update or trade them out if something changes. The links help us share videos and other resources with clients and candidates in one convenient spot. What do you dislike about Trainual?

I think one of the biggest hurdles is finding information once it's in there. I've been working in it for almost four years now, and I still struggle with where information is kept. So I think there could be an easier way to see the information and easier ways to find the information. Maybe tabs at the top that's breaking down each section, more easily accessible and always visible. "Effortless Training with Step-by-Step Guides"

What do you like best about Trainual?

One thing I've liked about Trainual is that even though we've been using it for about a year with only one person going through it due to low turnover, it's convenient to go in and edit on a weekly basis if needed, making it fool-proof. I appreciate being able to reconfigure things, add some funny pictures to make the content more entertaining. It's been pretty easy to use, even for someone like me who's not very tech-savvy. I also find the step-by-step setup is straightforward and helps make procedures clear. Having the capability to add YouTube links is handy, as it lets our techs access short videos for quick learning in the field. We've been able to put codes in there that pertain to our work, and it's great for providing customers with reasons for pricing while ensuring techs are certified and trained. I often have to go into the content I think the information will be located and Control F and search and if I don't find it I have to move on to the next content batch and do another search. What do you like best about Trainual?

I like that Trainual makes it easy to create, access, and import content. I also enjoy how straightforward it is to share and assign content. The integration with Loom is particularly valuable, as it allows me to easily copy and paste videos from our Loom library or create them directly within Trainual.
