**What do you like best about Whale?**

The user interface is very friendly and helps you break up the material into easier-to-learn chunks. It's an awesome way to structure training material and my team has had a good time using it so far.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

Only thing I've seen that might be considered a downside is that there is no sorting option. This isn't a big deal but it means I have to manually put playbooks in alphabetical order if that's what I'm looking to do.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have our documentation spread out over multiple systems. This gives us an easy way to consolidate everything to one place and gives us the ability to confirm if users have completed their assigned training.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Whale is so easy to set up! It takes some time to figure out the structure you want but once you have that figured out, the real fun begins! The Whale team guides you every step of the way. Especially our Customer Success Manager, Stino, is very helpful. He is very responsive! It doesn't matter what time of day it is for him, since he's based in Belgium, you can expect him to answer you within a couple of hours not minutes. Now we finally have a place where our users can look up processes without asking themselves if it is the correct one!

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

Nothing so far! Whale is very intuitive & easy to set up!

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a Google Drive that was flooded with outdated processes, and manuals,... Things just sat there to die. Now we can set up a timing where a certain piece of the process should be reviewed;

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Interface if Use whale is quite simplest and easy to use. Onboarding exercises and videos are super cool. you Don't need to Jump in here and there. It start assigning you tasks by it self which is the best thing about Usewhale

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

Since I am using it for a month but I was surprised to find nothing ambiguous. I tried multiple features from different platforms and tried to find out all of them in Usewhale and luckily i found all of them at a single place.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem was using multiple platforms, and multiple drive folders for processes, sops and procedures. Usewhale solved that problem to place everything on a single platform with proper access protocols.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Whale provides a comprehensive KMS/LMS for companies to provide a structured solution for training, onboarding, standard operating procedures and designed in a way to easily build out, add content, and assign ownership to SMEs. It provides built in tools, and the Whale team is very open to feedback on how to enhance and improve its product/platform.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

i don't see any downsides. i do think having different levels of contributors, and admins would be helpful to manage content creation, users, and admins. today there's only two options.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training, Onboarding, and scaling with SOPs that can be easily searched, tagged, and organized for the entire company to access. It provides a tool for quicker onboarding, training, and scale as incumbents don't have to spend as much time doing training.

Search functionality works great. Fact that we can analyze query's in order to add more knowledge works brilliant.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

The weekly digest mails seem a bit childish to me using all these emoticons/ emoji's. I like the informal approach as opposed to super formal. But this is a bit overdone in my opinion.

A central place to collect internal knowledge regarding all our daily operations. No more knowledge in a single person's head, but readily available for everyone.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

I love that we can just send our SOP's to Stihn and his team at Whale and they'll upload them for us into Whale. This has really helped us get this project off the ground and running!

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

So far we have not run into any dislikes. They've been quick to respond to our questions and open to suggestions on how to improve their product.

Stihn and his Team are currently uploading a batch of our SOP's into the Whale product which has been very helpful!

Whale is very intuitive to use. It's great how easy it is to store all company knowledge in one place. Plus, setting up Whale also made us question, review, and optimize the processes within the company.

I really enjoy how efficient the user interface is. It allows our employees to quickly & easily find whatever information they are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

Sometimes embedding documents is difficult, but I've always been able to get the tech support I need from Whale's staff. They are great!

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whale is helping us store all of our training documents in a single location. No more looking for binders and loose papers everywhere! It's all online and easily accessible.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

I'm going to begin by saying that it is such a user-friendly tool. Great for companies that are beginning to document and keep control of their SOPs, policies, work instructions, etc. In other words, this is a tool that I'm sure is going to be great if you want to establish a documentation culture in your company.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

I was presented by Whale's team all the features that they have to offer (so this is not something that I dislike), so I knew from the beginning that something that would be great to have in the following months is the option to create approval routes and maybe also to create more document structural levels.

Definitely, document control! This tool is going to be of a lot of help for new collaborators! A single source of truth right here.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Whale gives me a place to document my business processes that is accessible by my whole team. If I need my team to review a process, the process can be assigned and each team member's completion can be tracked.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

Copying old forms that were created in Word or other programs is a little clunky. Reformatting these forms can be frustrating. It is easy to just rebuild them from scratch or they can be linked through a Google drive.

Get it out of your head and into whale

All of my processes were either in my head or on my computer. No one on my team had access to these processes or each process was sent out individually. Having all processes in one location that can be accessed by the whole is a game changer.

I am a little unclear on how to organize it. It can be a little overwhelming in the beginning. But once you get started, a flow starts happening.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

I love the layout and the way it's easy for users to find the information they need quickly. I also love the stats and analytics that share helpful insights into what users are searching for so we can support and improve the information available.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

The least helpful thing about Whale is getting to grips with the language of the different elements, (e.g., playbook, cards, etc.) but to be fair, they have developed the ability to rename these so the language can be customized to your own company language, which is pretty cool!

Sharing company knowledge and allowing the team to find helpful SOPs and contribute to the business IP.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Initially, I liked that Whale was connected to Traction Tools (software used by companies running on EOS). As well as I was able to confirm with many references in the EOS community that they used it and loved it. But once I got started. It was the extreme availability of their support team that made this an easy tool to help us get up and running.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

I wish there was a swimlane process document creator as part of the toolset.- I guess any plugin that would make flow diagrams.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a small company, made up of many fractional resources. Process documentation about how to do a job is most valuable EXACTLY when that person needs it. Team members only want information when they want to consume it. You can blame Google if you want, but every organization needs to have this standardization figured out. Whale completely solves this for us. Creating one process to be used by all - shared with all.

Whale has been incredibly easy to get started setting up. I like how user friendly it is.

As of right now, the only thing I dislike is the inability to unpublish a card. However, I have provided that feedback and it appears to be something that they are already working on, so that's a plus.

Being able to store and manage all policy and process in one place has been very helpful. Users are able to find things quickly with the search functions and browser extension that Whale offers.

Currently the search function in the extension is broken. Would love to be able to integrate more with Sharepoint or other Microsoft products, although I understand Google's API allows for much more.

I like Whale's simple user interface and attention to things like update reminders and the ability to rename sections to match the company's lexicon. The Suggestions functionality is also SUPER powerful. Wiki tools shouldn't be that complicated — Whale delivers.

Two things. It would be the ability to test knowledge. It's not a deal-breaker but maybe more of a nice to have. Additionally, pricing is on the higher end compared to competitors.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

User interface. This is probably one of the best-looking process and training tools out there in terms of simplicity and designability. Most recent updates enable the users to craft a custom-looking site that fits into the company brand. Other tools have this ability, but in my experience, Whale brings a whole level of ease of interaction and looks.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

We have received feedback from our clients using whale that it may take a second to sync across all platforms, this may be due to our client's own internet speed, or it may be on the backend for Whale. Our team did not have that issue, it may have been a one-off situation. There are some features that would greatly help our clients and us that whale does not currently offer. But every business will have its own specialized use for the platform, and it is understandable that Whale may not provide everything we need. They are working on updates every week, which is a good sign because they are constantly pushing out new features.

**Recommendations to others considering Whale:**

This tool is great for SOP or training. The platform interface is very friendly, and anybody can quickly navigate through it. The real value comes in the plug-in, something that I have not seen other software include. The plug-in helps people quickly find the information relevant to the website they are on, which reduces the time the team has to spend searching for it.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using a new technology app or tool is very intimidating for people, especially those who are less proficient in this domain. When we looked at software and decided on Whale, the key features were accessible of use and design. Anybody without a coding background or degree can figure out how to get the most basic use out of Whale. Our clients are very wary of new technology, and not using the software they are paying for is perhaps the worst offender. However, they seem to get along very well with Whale and did not have any complaints about the platform. They have all praised Whale for how easy it is to use.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

It tackles the problem of inter-departmental silos and aids in sharing information across different roles and different departments. Information that is readily available for one department but sometimes difficult to obtain yet extremely valuable for another department. Aside from that, it enriches the toolset that's already present in our organization and integrates well with our document sharing solutions, so we don't need to "rip and replace" but can use whale as a catalyst to get more value out of our other tools (i.e., google drive, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

We would like to see more integrations become available. However, the whale guys are very readily available for feedback, and I feel this issue is being resolved.

**What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So the problem we had is that a lot of time - work hours/billable hours - was being wasted chasing internal information that an outside client would assume is known by everyone in the company. Whale allows for a quicker and more understandable way to share this information across departments, resulting in less time being wasted chasing information and more time becoming available to service our clients.

It's so easy to use Whale while I'm working and without even leaving my tools. I own an online platform, and it's easy to surface the knowledge I need when I need it.

I honestly do not have any dislikes. It works perfectly for me.

I work with several people, but it's so exhausting to explain everything more than once. With Whale, I just put the input in the tool and tag the right persons. They get a notification AND they can see the information when they need it. So it solves a lot of time issues.

This is by far the easiest way to give employees the knowledge they need. The easy way to create, consume and undertake knowledge with the interactive features was a big winner. A user-friendly way to create a clear learning pathway is provided to the learners.

I haven't found anything that I genuinely dislike.

Our primary purpose for finding a training and onboarding solution was to train employees and newcomers on the process aspects of our software stack. The way Whale provides bitesize content in the browser is for sure best in class.

**What do you like best about Whale?**

Whale offers a simplified digital solution for many processes which previously required lengthy and time consuming documentation. It makes documenting much easier and much more fun! Whale is very self-explanatory and straightforward to use, and friendly and quick support is offered as needed. It allows for accessing the latest most up-to-date documents at any time, which is a great advantage.

**What do you dislike about Whale?**

It takes some time to fully adapt and integrate to our internal workflow but as said, the support is great and the team helps out to find the best solution for all. The Whale team offers solutions in order to optimize use of Whale in daily practice.

It is a great advantage to have all up-to-date information stored in a centralized place plus being accessible at any time. Whale definitely made processes less time consuming and eventually more cost-efficient.

The most helpful aspect of Whale is the automations. When Whale sees you're working on a particular project or in a specific area, it reminds you of the processes you should keep top of mind. It makes it simple for everyone to follow the same processes, every time.
