Wistia is a great video platform for businesses. I have been using it for years now and the video display customization, the integrations into CMS tools and the quick customer service makes it a no-brainer for companies that want to use video for marketing, landing page designs and more. What makes Wistia such a great tool is its ease of integration in landing pages and the ability to swap in updated versions of videos while maintaining the same URL. The channel feature also makes it easy to pull in categories of videos as a way to display them in an attractive and easy to view way. We also embed those channel page designs into our website which makes it so much easier to swap in videos, organize them and create an overall beautiful presentation. There's very little to dislike about the tool, I haven't run into any challenges for things I want to do so far so I am grateful for that. I wish there was a way to link comments to accounts in HubSpot or so, that way I could easily click on the account and view it from Wistia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While there are many videos editing options out there, including some within other apps I use, I find Wistia to be the best for editing and polishing video with a lot of talking especially with their easy transcript+edit features. The solution is easy to use and collaborate on as well as export to social, website embeds, etc. I was able to pick up how to use it very quickly which is important when you don't have a dedicated video team. With Wistia, it's easy to host product videos, adjust the player's styling, and organize them into folders.

One useful feature is the analytics part. It allows you to see the trends for your videos: which are the most popular, how many times they were played, from which pages, etc. This gives you a good insight into your audience's preferences.

The embed process is quite simple - you can either copy the link and share it elsewhere or get an embed code to paste to your website inline or as a popover.

One thing I dislike about Wistia is that some of its features can be a bit pricey, especially for smaller businesses or solo creators. I've been using Wistia at work for 4+ years now and have found the experience to be very good. The user interface is clean and most are self explanatory, requiring minimum use of any how-tos documents. What I like best is the ability to replace a video with an updated one without having to change the links, makes life much easier.

I've recently started hosting live webinar on the platform which turns out to be quite good too. Again, the interface is quite simple, my panelist even went in and didn't need any walkthrough. Great job.

What I like most about Wistia is how it allows me to keep my videos up-to-date in terms of ADA requirements. The fact that I can upload transcripts, audio descriptions, and captions to my clients' videos makes it #1 in my book. Hosting videos is made easy with Wistia. There is a good amount of customization tools for your video including thumbnail choice, embedded logo, player color, and more. The transcripts are generated quickly and with great accuracy as well. I am hoping to utilize their Webinar tools in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't like how the video editor functions. This is because I prefer to have a lot more range in editing choices so I always stick with editing outside of Wistia and bringing in the completed video. I have been waiting for a while for Wistia to bring all of their fantastic tools to live RTMP streamed events. I broadcast them almost every day. It finally happened, and we couldn't be happier. I used to use 3 separate tools to accomplish what I can do just by using Wistia. I'm hoping polling is added to the RTMP area, soon. Other engagement tools would be nice, as well. I use my own switcher to produce 1080p live broadcasts around instructional content for a global company. This was a dream come true for us! Keep up the innovation and development. The lack of engagement tools and customization that is currently available for RTMP live broadcasting. Multiple language AI technology in captions would be great for us, too. Wistia is quite intuitive and easy to use. I also enjoy its blog content, it has a lot of useful tips for video marketing.

The folders and channels are very useful, and the video editing tool is easy to use, especially for someone who isn't experienced in video editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support can take some time to reply, and there's the time difference that can be a bit annoying sometimes (I'm UK based). Also, the video editing tool even though it's great to use, it breaks quite frequently. there are a few glitches sometimes when saving editing done to the videos or when customising them.

Also, when I edit the transciption and then edit some part of the video, the transcription I had adjusted is lost which isn't ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love the channels, analytics, and webinar features. I've been using Wistia since 2014 or so and the features continue to get better. The integration with HubSpot helps us track prospect engagement and prospect video activities influence our lead scoring model. It's a great tool for sharing private and public videos. Naturally, the monthly price has gone up quite a bit. It's a fairly expensive tool in our tech stack. Another thing we have yet to see is the video SEO value. We struggle with getting GSC to index our video pages. Each video is embedded on our site with "infused SEO" data and the transcript. We have yet to see Wistia videos increase our organic traffic where YouTube notably worked for us.
