What do you like best about Workday HCM?

We use Workday HCM as our primary HR solution and it has worked seamlessly. I like that it unified all HR functions into one platform which makes it very convenient to use.

It comes with features that handles onboarding all the way to talent management and this ensures we have and retain best talents.

I like the payroll features and how easily data is integrated for best results.

In addition it boosts productivity thanks to ease of tracking and managing employee performance.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?

Workday offers outstanding functionality, truly streamlining my daily work experience. All essential operations—HR, payroll, IT support, and accounts receivable—are conveniently centralized within a single platform. I find the interface intuitive and appreciate how customizable it is. One feature I value in particular is the ability to control access for each user individually. What do you dislike about Workday HCM?

The system is easy to navigate, true. However, I feel there is room for increased product efficiency as the number of "clicks" seems excessive for relatively simple procedures. I also have experienced some "page redirecting", for example, I edit an invoice, I reprint the invoice to display the updated data. Upon completion of "Print Run", and clicking "Ok", I am then redirected to a previously visited Workday record. I am then required to navigate back to the original record of which I re-printed. What do you like best about Workday HCM?

I appreciate how Workday HCM brings together HR, payroll, and talent management within a single platform. Its intuitive interface and real-time analytics have made it much simpler to manage employee data and monitor performance. Workday HCM can be challenging to configure, particularly when it comes to setting up custom workflows. Creating some reports can also be time-consuming, and a few features are not as intuitive as I would like, which may make it harder for new users to get started quickly. This platform offers a wide range of features for managing employees, such as reviewing and monitoring absences and expense requests, enrolling staff in training courses and tracking their progress, as well as setting up career goals to support their personal development. What do you dislike about Workday HCM?

Although Workday offers a wide range of flexible options, I often find it confusing to locate what I need. Information is sometimes buried too deeply within submenus or hidden in reports that you have to request separately, which makes the experience less smooth, especially for managers overseeing large teams. The UI/UX is definitely a weak point and has significant room for improvement.

What do you like best about Workday HCM?

Workday is highly configurable and consistently enhances the user experience. The Workday community has also been extremely helpful. When I first started, I had no prior experience with Workday, but over time, I have learned to perform many configurations without any formal certification, primarily by reading and learning from the Workday community. What do you like best about Workday HCM?

The dynamic/flexibility in the business process flow and Reporting is great.

The integration features (whether EIB, Core Connector or Custom) is also great. Among all the HCM software that I had used, Workday is one of the HCM at which it provide great features to integrate with 3rd Party Application.

Navigation is user friendly.

The software is frequently update to enhance security and to deliver the latest features (especially AI related features).

What do you dislike about Workday HCM?

RaaS is currently not available for Matrix Report, which will be a great features if Matrix Report can be exported via RaaS.

The system offers impressive flexibility in its configuration options, enabling you to adapt it to your organisation's specific requirements. There is a wide range of reports readily accessible, and you also have the ability to create custom reports, which is helpful for building insightful dashboards and discovery boards. I also appreciate that the employee and manager self-service features are comprehensive, allowing HR to dedicate more time to strategic work rather than routine administrative tasks. I feel the UI in some areas can be improved upon - particularly the Home Page as it feels outdated but should engage the user. It would be good if we could vote on some of the UI changes that have been introduced in recent releases as a lot of the customers feel time would be better spent on more crucial and much needed fixes in other parts of the system. I dislike the international integration of worker types in Workday HCM, which isn't fully accommodating based on our business requirements. For example, the treatment of contingent workers who need performance reviews could be improved. I find that there's also a significant learning curve initially, with the need to develop muscle memory.
