"Reliable functionality in Market Pay"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I have been using market pay in a few different employer over the past several years. I like that it is easy to pick up and navigate. It is especially helpful when the HR systems are antiquated. I like to use market pay as the system of record for comp work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

We are not updating it often enough. We need to develop more skills internally with managing reports and data. MP is a robust system that we are using only a small portion of the available functionality due to time and resource issues (internally).

In 2026 I would like to see our refresh automated (currently an excel load) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Payment Management with Robust Security"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I use Marketpay to securely process payments and manage payouts within the platform, which helps me automate complex payment flows and maintain transparency with partners. What I like most about Marketpay is its ability to simplify complex multi-party payment flows. It saves time, reduces errors, and provides excellent visibility into transactions. The integration with several other tools, including accounting, CRM, and e-commerce platforms, is smooth and helps keep my payment workflows automated and organized. Marketpay's flexibility, automation, and advanced features made it a much better fit for my needs compared to the previous provider. The initial setup was smooth and easy, with clear instructions and responsive support, allowing my team to integrate Marketpay without any major issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

For high volume transactions, the API rate limits can sometimes slow down processes. Increasing limits or offering configurable options would improve scalability for larger platforms. I gave Marketpay 8 out of 10 because it’s very reliable and flexible but the onboarding process and some advanced features could be easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transformative Payment Solution with Room for Customization"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I really like Marketpay because of its automated payouts, which eliminate manual calculations and ensure timely payments to sellers or service providers. The flexible payment routing makes managing commissions, fees, or multi-party payments seamless and saves administrative effort. I also appreciate the compliance support, as it reduces risk by automatically handling tax, KYC, and other regulatory requirements. The transaction tracking feature is a big plus, providing clear visibility for reconciliations, which reduces disputes and support tickets. Lastly, it's integration-friendly and connects easily with marketplaces or apps, ensuring smooth payment flows without the need for custom development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

Onboarding new sellers can take time, especially for verification and KYC processes. Custom payout schedules are somewhat limited in flexibility. Reporting features could be more detailed or customizable for complex marketplaces. Integration setup may require developer support for advanced workflows. Customer support response times can sometimes be slow during peak periods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Market Pricing with Reliable Data"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I like that Marketpay saves all our data and allows us to download it. We can do analysis within Marketpay or just download it in Excel for our own analysis. It can age your data, and there are so many things it can do that I'm sure I'm not even aware of. I also appreciate that I can take classes to learn new things, which helps me find new ways to price jobs. It's convenient to save all our jobs and market pricing in one place, access the data as needed, and feel confident that the information is reliable. I also love how easy the integration and data migration process is; whenever we needed to migrate new data, it was completed within a day or two. Everything being downloadable to Excel is a great feature too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

I don't have many complaints about Marketpay. There's a new AI tool that I haven't yet learned. I don't think that it's not working well for me; I just don't know how to use it yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform has simple card payments options, something that supports mobile wallet

"MarketPay is our platform and partner for strategic compensation success"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

MarketPay simplifies compensation market analysis by providing tools to manage our extensive survey library and leveraging AI-assisted pricing matches across our thousands of jobs. It streamlines annual pricing updates with minimal effort and makes survey participation preparation efficient. Importing and exporting data is straightforward, and while MarketPay offers robust in-app reporting tools, it’s equally easy to extract data for offline analysis. Our small team of compensation consultants and managers use MarketPay throughout the day, and it enables us to accomplish the work of a much larger team.

Their customer support is exceptional—the best I’ve experienced from any SaaS vendor. The team is responsive, professional, and acts as a true business partner, taking time to listen and helping us tackle complex compensation challenges to achieve our goals. MarketPay also includes access to Payscale Connect, offering online training on platform features and best practices in compensation.

Integration with PeopleSoft, our HRIS system, is an easy and seamless process involving mapping automated exports from the HRIS to the MarketPay load templates and then publishing them at scheduled intervals to an SFTP server.

With a long-standing presence in the compensation space, MarketPay continues to innovate by actively enhancing its features and transparently sharing its product roadmap with customers. Their in-product data offerings continue to improve every year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

I would prefer if the Market Price a Job had the ability to load potential matches or other pricing changes into a "cart" and then had a formal submit/commit that cart to the production pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Compensation with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I use Marketpay daily to benchmark jobs, manage our survey library, and ensure our pay structures stay competitive. What I like most about Marketpay is how it consolidates and streamlines access to high-quality, up-to-date market salary data from multiple surveys into one centralized, easy-to-navigate spot. Additionally, Marketpay is much more efficient in job pricing and structure modeling workflow compared to our previous solution, making tasks that used to take 30-60 minutes now only take 10-20 minutes. The superior customer support and partnership approach at Marketpay has been a significant factor, offering proactive and knowledgeable assistance, which is a big deal for a small compensation team like ours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

I don't like the outdated or clunky user interface (UI/UX) of Marketpay. The platform’s design feels outdated compared to more modern SaaS tools—it’s functional but lacks polish, intuitive navigation, and visual appeal. Some areas, like filtering or advanced workflows, feel especially clunky for first-time users or when handling large volumes of jobs. I also find the reporting limitations frustrating. The pre-built templates often aren't enough for complex or highly customized needs. It's challenging to access/export data flexibly, and sometimes it's hard to pull specific insights without workarounds. Some users even mention 'poor reporting capabilities.' Moreover, there are occasional performance issues. I've experienced intermittent outages, login troubles, and slow access during peak times, like busy merit cycles. At times, it can be a headache, especially when deadlines are tight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stable Payment Processing, But Needs Pricing Improvements"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I like that Marketpay offers stable transaction processing for my business. Once payments are set up, the funds typically go through without frequent failures. This reliability in payment processing helps keep our cash flow steady and prevents awkward situations with customers over failed or delayed payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

I find job pricing a major weakness with Marketpay. The pricing tools feel inefficient, especially for larger organizations handling complex or multiple jobs. It's hard to price jobs flexibly, and the system doesn't adapt well to different price structures. The pricing and reporting sections need clearer layouts and more options. Right now too many steps are required to complete simple pricing or billing tasks. Additionally, Paystack handled pricing and support more smoothly, which we now see as a drawback for Marketpay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Payments, Reliable and Easy to Use"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I use Marketpay mainly to manage payments and handle transactions smoothly, and it helps me send and receive payments without unnecessary delays. The platform makes tracking payment status simple and transparent. I rely on it to keep financial records organized in one place, and it reduces manual follow-ups related to pending or completed payments. The process feels secure, which gives confidence while handling money. It also saves time compared to traditional payment methods. I like most about Marketpay how simple and reliable it feels to use, and the payment process is smooth and doesn’t involve unnecessary steps. I really like the clear transaction tracking it provides. It saves time by keeping everything organized in one place. The platform feels secure, which builds confidence in daily use. The initial setup of Marketpay was very easy. Getting started didn’t take much time or effort. The onboarding steps were clear and simple to follow, and basic settings were quick to configure. I was able to start using it almost immediately without needing technical help. Overall, the setup process was smooth and hassle-free. Marketpay fits well into my process and delivers consistent value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

One area that could be improved is the speed of customer support responses. Sometimes the interface feels a bit basic and could be more intuitive. More detailed transaction reports would be helpful. Occasionally, status updates take time to refresh. Additional customization options would improve the experience. The mobile experience could be smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sleek Design and Fast Data Access Set Marketpay Apart"
What do you like best about Marketpay?

I appreciate the system's design, as well as how quickly it allows me to pull and present data. The support provided by the implementation and account management team has also been excellent. Having used other well-known compensation tools, I can say that none have matched the sleek design and agility offered by Marketpay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Marketpay?

There isn't much to highlight. At the moment, we are using PeopleSoft, and unfortunately, we are unable to interface it effectively with our tool. As a result, we cannot transfer information through an interface, which I believe is an issue with PeopleSoft itself. Additionally, the tool requires users to have a solid understanding of job pricing and a strong background in survey data to use it efficiently. This could be quite frustrating for those who are new to the compensation field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
