**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

I like Marketpay as it allows us to organize all our employee survey data in one place, making it a one-stop shop for pricing jobs. I love the AI feature that provides recommended survey matches when you input a job description. The AI tool is helpful because it provides possible job matches, improving the process and accuracy. I also appreciate the custom reporting tools, which help provide meaningful reports for senior leaders, whether pointing out employees who need increases or addressing internal equity concerns. Additionally, I appreciate having the opportunity to reach out for support when needed, and it's great that I can suggest improvements through the site. The initial setup was a great experience compared to reviewing data on spreadsheets.

I use Marketpay to organize all our employee survey data in one place, making it easy to price jobs. It solves data organization issues and offers reporting tools for identifying outliers and providing meaningful statistics to leaders.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

I have been using market pay in a few different employer over the past several years.  I like that it is easy to pick up and navigate.   It is especially helpful when the HR systems are antiquated.   I like to use market pay as the system of record for comp work.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

We are not updating it often enough.  We need to develop more skills internally with managing reports and data.   MP is a robust system that we are using only a small portion of the available functionality due to time and resource issues (internally).  
In 2026 I would like to see our refresh automated (currently an excel load)

**What problems is Marketpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With respect to Price a job v Price a job legacy.   I'm using price a job legacy due to the fact that there is some functionality that we rely upon around (Market Base Salary Benchmark Value) that is not available in Price a Job.   I understand that all new functionality is only being updated in Price a Job and I have played around with the AI tool there.   I have to go between the two to market price and create new jobs.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

I like that Marketpay saves all our data and allows us to download it. We can do analysis within Marketpay or just download it in Excel for our own analysis. It can age your data, and there are so many things it can do that I'm sure I'm not even aware of. I also appreciate that I can take classes to learn new things, which helps me find new ways to price jobs. It's convenient to save all our jobs and market pricing in one place, access the data as needed, and feel confident that the information is reliable. I also love how easy the integration and data migration process is; whenever we needed to migrate new data, it was completed within a day or two. Everything being downloadable to Excel is a great feature too.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

I don't have many complaints about Marketpay. There's a new AI tool that I haven't yet learned. I don't think that it's not working well for me; I just don't know how to use it yet.

**What problems is Marketpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Marketpay to quickly find market rates for jobs, which saves me time searching. It keeps all my data and previous surveys, allowing easy access and analysis. It streamlines storing and accessing reliable information for compensation analysis.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

MarketPay simplifies compensation market analysis by providing tools to manage our extensive survey library and leveraging AI-assisted pricing matches across our thousands of jobs. It streamlines annual pricing updates with minimal effort and makes survey participation preparation efficient. Importing and exporting data is straightforward, and while MarketPay offers robust in-app reporting tools, it’s equally easy to extract data for offline analysis. Our small team of compensation consultants and managers use MarketPay throughout the day, and it enables us to accomplish the work of a much larger team.

Their customer support is exceptional—the best I’ve experienced from any SaaS vendor. The team is responsive, professional, and acts as a true business partner, taking time to listen and helping us tackle complex compensation challenges to achieve our goals. MarketPay also includes access to Payscale Connect, offering online training on platform features and best practices in compensation.

Integration with PeopleSoft, our HRIS system, is an easy and seamless process involving mapping automated exports from the HRIS to the MarketPay load templates and then publishing them at scheduled intervals to an SFTP server.

With a long-standing presence in the compensation space, MarketPay continues to innovate by actively enhancing its features and transparently sharing its product roadmap with customers. Their in-product data offerings continue to improve every year.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

I would prefer if the Market Price a Job had the ability to load potential matches or other pricing changes into a "cart" and then had a formal submit/commit that cart to the production pricing.

**What problems is Marketpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compensation survey library administration, survey participation, and market pricing of jobs against survey benchmarks, along with optional tie-ins to our job description library in JDXpert. MarketPay's reporting and administration tools are flexible, easy to use, and offer loads of customization options.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

I appreciate the system's design, as well as how quickly it allows me to pull and present data. The support provided by the implementation and account management team has also been excellent. Having used other well-known compensation tools, I can say that none have matched the sleek design and agility offered by Marketpay.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

There isn't much to highlight. At the moment, we are using PeopleSoft, and unfortunately, we are unable to interface it effectively with our tool. As a result, we cannot transfer information through an interface, which I believe is an issue with PeopleSoft itself. Additionally, the tool requires users to have a solid understanding of job pricing and a strong background in survey data to use it efficiently. This could be quite frustrating for those who are new to the compensation field.

**What problems is Marketpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am now able to recognize the value of our roles and quickly conduct analyses that lead to well-informed pay decisions. Previously, our organization lacked a formal compensation structure and reliable pay data. With these new tools, I can better support the team in recruiting and mobilizing talent efficiently and in a financially responsible way.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

I use Marketpay for various tasks like benchmarking, structure modeling, and reports. I particularly value the Price a Job tool and have found the recently added AI matching feature within it to be quite useful.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

I sometimes don't know what to do next or what I can use to move my company further in our compensation journey. More suggestions maybe on the homepage like I see you have all your jobs benchmarked start working on this next step with.... within our product.

**What problems is Marketpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Marketpay for benchmarking, structure modeling, and reports, but now it mainly stores our data.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

I appreciate how Marketpay helps with market pricing analyses during annual reviews and makes it easier to spot disparities across roles or demographics with its reporting tools. The easy setup and report generation makes my work easier and faster, and pulling ad-hoc pricing for new roles is quick and straightforward. Marketpay connected smoothly to ADP for payroll syncing, which ensured that company adjustments flowed right into pay runs. Coming from Radford, I found Marketpay handles our broader needs with less manual data wrangling.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

There's a learning curve if you're not deep into company analysis. Explaining it to others or pulling quick insights takes time.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

Staff are very friendly and helpful at Marketpay. They have helped us work through multiple questions and problems we were having. The system has been very helpful in reviewing our market data and finding market matches for positions. I like that market pay is able to integrate with Workday and pulls in our data. The trainings provided by Marketpay can also be very helpful with the system, but also for keeping up on different situations going on with regulations and compensation practices. I appreciate the Marketpay migration process and how it helps easily update your survey matches.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

Nothing at the moment. I think having a better understanding of reporting would be helpful and since there are so many reports it can be hard to choose sometimes which is the best one. Not a dislike but a challenge sometimes.

**What problems is Marketpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketpay is helping us with benchmarking and improving our processes. They are helping us with coming up with a plan for updating our job profiles and matches in the system. I think the suggestions being made will help us in the long term with our ongoing projects and career architecture.

**What do you like best about Marketpay?**

Where to start, Market Pay has so many features and they continually are updating the dashboard to help their customers with the changing market. Their customer service is beyond amazing, we have quarterly meetings with Sarah who goes over all the updates of Market Pay and answers all questions we have. She is always so helpful and makes sure all our questions are answered.  Even when we do not have scheduled meetings when we reach out to Sarah she is always quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Marketpay?**

I wouldn't say this is not helpful but something that would be nice to be able to do, if you could click on the main dashboard on where it shows your stats of the percentage of priced jobs and then being able to click to see what's priced, slotted or on the neither. And it could just take you to the jobs that are priced, slotted, or neither instead of having to pull a report of them.

**What problems is Marketpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wouldn't say we have any current problems but one of our survey  vendors updated one of their policies where they cannot release the survey to market pay, we have to go out and upload it ourselves. It does add another step for us and Sarah has suggested that we reach out to the vendors customer service as they are also doing so because this is more of an inconvenience to the customer.
