While the platform is robust, I did encounter a few technical friction points that required manual intervention:

Third-Party Video Stability: I faced consistent issues when trying to pull video playback directly from YouTube and Vimeo. The streams would occasionally fail or stutter, which isn't ideal for a professional waiting area. My workaround was to download the files and upload them directly to the Yodeck cloud. Yodeck has saved me time setting up signage every week at our church. I probably spent 20-30 minutes a week turning our screens on and selecting graphics from a flash drive. And on top of that once or twice a month I would spend another hour loading new graphics to the flash drives. Now it takes half of the time to update graphics. Some features are very rigid, and the new version with layers is not user-friendly (it constantly forces you to open and close windows) and cannot be resized, obstructing the view of part of the layout. After the latest update, it no longer supports Firefox.
