I really love the UI and how clean and easy to use it is. There are so many integrations with the loads of different apps/modules they have/allow. The pricing suits us very well as an agency and seems to be cheaper than a lot of competitors. The support is unlike any other of these companies, very person and want to be there for you. What do you dislike about Yodeck? The only downside we’ve found as an agency is that, if you don’t pay for an annual plan, the YoDeck player (which I do recommend having) is quite pricey on its own. The interface is clean, intuitive, and clearly well thought out—everything feels like it’s exactly where it should be, so navigating the dashboard is genuinely easy, even for team members who aren’t tech-savvy. Creating, scheduling, and updating content is quick and smooth, and the drag-and-drop editor makes designing screens feel almost fun. Overall, the user experience feels polished and modern, and it’s obvious the platform was built with real users in mind. Yodeck was built to fit into existing workflows and integrations rather than force you to change them. Yodeck performs exceptionally well. Content updates push instantly, screens stay responsive, and the hardware runs smoothly without lag or interruptions. The pricing is one of Yodeck’s strongest advantages. Yodeck is super easy to use, has a friendly user interface and many powerful options such as RSS feed, video, images, the ability to view websites, and multiple "apps" you can add such as Google/Outlook calendars. Google calendar integration could be improved by giving an option to view next 7 days in a weekly calendar or next x weeks in a monthly calendar so that the calendar view is still useful when you're approaching the end of the week/month. "The only digital signage solution that truly fits our business" 5/5 What do you like best about Yodeck? Yodeck has been an excellent fit for our organization. What stands out most is how well the platform is tailored to real business needs. The content management system is intuitive, so our team was up and running with almost no training. Scheduling playlists, pushing updates to multiple screens, and managing players remotely all just work. The player functionality is rock-solid and dependable, and the value for money is outstanding compared to other options we evaluated. Customer support has also been responsive and genuinely helpful whenever we’ve had a question. In terms of bugs and issues, we’ve had virtually none—the system is stable and runs reliably day in and day out. The communication and messaging features are excellent as well, making it easy to push announcements and updates across all our screens. What do you dislike about Yodeck? There isn’t much to complain about. If anything, the sheer number of features and settings can feel a bit overwhelming when you’re just getting started, and some of the more advanced options take a little digging to locate. Since my last review, I've trained a few more people on our team to use Yodeck, and that's honestly been the best test of it. New users pick it up fast. The UI and playlists are intuitive enough that I don't have to stand over anyone's shoulder walking them through every step. It's reliable, looks great in our rooms, and continues to improve. None, I've seen the quality of Layouts improve (the "Discover Templates" section is filled with really good designs) and other integral features like the scheduler and Apps are all dialed in. We needed an affordable and easy to use digital signage system in our church's lobby. Not only is it convenient to be able to update screens remotely from any browser, but the scheduling of content is super helpful. Sometimes we need screens to display content and switch to something else at strict times. This lets us make schedules for switching and updating content, so that we don't manually have to change screens. Allows for planning ahead! Very helpful for a busy Museum. We had an issue where we couldn't figure out why content was updating on the screens, or saving when trying to push to screens. After a while, we finally figured out that you have to have timezone filled in, in order to upload scheduled content. It wasn't obvious from the start the the timezone field controlled that aspect of the scheduling. It makes since now, but because it was a manual change instead of prompted, it wasn't immediately caught. Maybe if someone is trying to save scheduled content, have a "Required" field popup next to timezone so people realize they can't leave that blank. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I have been using Yodeck for a couple years now with the Raspberry Pi based Yodeck player. I have had absolutely ZERO issues (aside from the custodian accidentally unplugging it once or twice). I use the hardware to drive a cheap monitor mounted in the entrance hall of a church. Using the software from home, I update the graphics weekly - to show what's happening in the church. I also change out the playlist to a video based slideshow for funerals or special events. My favorite feature is the scheduling. I can add an end date to a graphic, put it in the playlist, and at the appropriate time and date it just drops out of the rotation. I cannot stress enough how this just works, and works correctly. I have not had to change settings, tweak connections, worry about downtime, or make any adjustments at all. It just keeps doing what it does, and I like it that way. Using the scheduling function allos me to set this up days, weeks, or even months ahead. The playlist can also be set on a schedule. On days when a special event is taking place, the screen can switch to a specific slideshow (or media show) just for that day's event, and then automatically switch back at the appropriate time. What do you dislike about Yodeck? What I like least about Yodeck is the limited editing functionality in its built-in content editor. For instance, it doesn’t let me trim embedded videos, overlay text directly on top of them, or create masks for more customized layouts. That feels like a noticeable contrast to Xibo’s interface, which is more flexible in these areas.
