What I like best about Yodeck is how simple and user-friendly it is to manage digital signage remotely. The drag-and-drop interface makes scheduling and updating content quick and easy, even for non-technical users. Plus, the ability to control multiple screens from one dashboard is a huge time-saver.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

One thing I dislike about Yodeck is that setting up more advanced features—like interactive content or custom layouts—can involve a bit of a learning curve. It occasionally requires diving into templates or documentation to get everything just right. Also, while the free plan is generous, some useful features—like advanced scheduling or higher-tier support—require upgrading to a paid plan.

**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

We recently switched to Yodeck for our digital signage needs, and it has been an absolute game changer. From the moment we opened the box, it was clear Yodeck was designed with the user in mind. The setup process was so simple, we were up and running within minutes — no complicated configurations, no frustrating guesswork. Just plug it in, follow a few straightforward steps, and you’re good to go.

What really impressed us was how intuitive both the device and the online dashboard are. The website is clean, responsive, and incredibly easy to navigate. Uploading content, scheduling playlists, and managing screens remotely all feel effortless — everything is exactly where you’d expect it to be. Even for team members with minimal tech experience, Yodeck made it easy to take control of our displays without needing constant IT support.

We use the YoDeck every week, which makes the auto scheduling of screens invaluable! Not having to worry about manually truning screens on and off is a huge timesaver!

It took minimal time to set up within our existing infrastructure, they only issue we had, their customer service was able to help navigate a proper solution within a few minutes.

So far, my experience with Yodeck has been overwhelmingly positive, but if I had to mention one downside, it would be that there’s a slight learning curve when first navigating the website — especially for those who aren’t very tech-savvy. While the platform is well-designed and intuitive once you get the hang of it, some of the more advanced features take a little time to figure out. That said, once you spend a few minutes clicking around, it quickly becomes second nature. Honestly, any issues I’ve run into have been user error more than anything Yodeck-related.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yodeck solves the biggest headaches with digital signage: simplicity, flexibility, and centralized control. Before Yodeck, managing digital displays felt like a constant hassle — juggling outdated hardware, complicated software, and time-consuming manual updates. Yodeck eliminates all of that.

With Yodeck, I can manage multiple screens from a single dashboard, schedule content in advance, and make instant updates from anywhere. The plug-and-play hardware removes the need for IT intervention, and the intuitive website makes it easy to create and deploy professional-looking content without needing a design background.

The biggest benefit for me is peace of mind — I don’t have to stress about whether my screens are updated or running properly. It’s saved me tons of time and streamlined our communications in a way that’s both effortless and reliable.

Very easy to use, and also very convenient to be able to update from anywhere using the web interface. Simple sign up process and connection. Plug and play makes it even better. I have not had to use the customer support yet, because I have not had any issues. It is used every day with no issues.

The only thing I can say I dislike about Yodeck is that it makes me realize how much time I had wasted before switching to Yodeck from going physically to the location that it is at to make changes.

It solves having to go physically to the location to change what is on the screen. It is super simple to get online and update, and even schedule updates.

The ability to use various types of devices and their ease of implementing were the first thing that caught my attention. The customization options and scheduling are my favor features. Eventhough I used an older raspberry pi, the ease of integration of Yodeck into our network went smootlly.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

I think the only issue I have had but that was because of using older raspberry pi, was that it occasionally got stuck upgrading the device software and I have had to setup the device again.

I use Yodeck to display important information and upcoming events, on a common area screen. This benefits me because it allows me to display crucial information and it also allows me to change it remotely unlike previous software that I have tried for this same situation.

There are there are issues with Google slides and it automatically updating if you’re not using proof player I use a android TV stick and I wish there was more customization options with the counter or counter down app

Yodeck is extremely user-friendly while offering advanced capabilities under the hood. The web dashboard is clean and intuitive, making content scheduling and device management simple — even for clients without a technical background.

As a developer, the ability to create custom apps is a standout feature. I’ve been able to build tailored solutions that go well beyond the built-in tools, something I haven’t seen in other platforms at this price point.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

The visual quality of the built-in apps could be improved. Many of them look basic or outdated, and I’d like to see more modern layouts, better animations, and dynamic design options.

Additionally, the app library could grow with more content-oriented options, similar to what OnSign TV offers. That would take it to the next level.

We use Yodeck to manage digital signage networks for multiple clients across different industries. It helps us:

One screen office marketing on a budget. Free as is. We don't have to keep the office internet (or the computer) on to have it play all night. This is without their specialized attachment. Easy to plug and play a new slideshow and cast it, feels like phone to tv casting.

cost of use and the single tv to cast to for free. Others include more than one tv free to cast to. took a while to get coordination and timing set up. It works well once set up.

Yodeck is incredibly user-friendly and allows complete control over multiple screens from a single cloud-based dashboard. I love the flexibility to create and schedule content using pre-designed templates, and the integration with Canva and YouTube saves a lot of time. The free plan with one screen is a great way to start, and the fact that the player is included with the annual subscription is a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

It would be great to have a dedicated mobile or desktop app for managing the system, rather than relying entirely on the web version. While the web interface works well, having an app would improve speed, usability, and accessibility—especially when managing content on the go.

Yodeck is helping us centralize and automate the management of digital content across multiple screens. Before using Yodeck, updating content was time-consuming and inconsistent. Now, we can schedule, update, and monitor all our displays remotely, ensuring timely and professional communication with our audience. This has improved our brand presence and operational efficiency significantly.

**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

I have used this for a variety of purposes, both internally within the company where only employees have access, and externally in public areas with content meant for a wider audience. I appreciate how easy it is to set up and to add multiple people, which makes it simple to organize and manage. This allows for new and fresh content to be contributed from different perspectives, departments, and initiatives.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

They sometimes go offline and require reformatting, which can be quite inconvenient, especially when the device is installed in a hard-to-reach place, like a TV mounted high up that needs a ladder to access. Additionally, I think there should be a greater variety of layouts and designs, with new ones added more frequently.  Customer support is also lack luster.  You can do a chat, but they are not really wanted to assist or help with the issue, and you cannot call or do a remote session to just get the issue resolved quickly, its takes time due to needing to chat back and forth.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a digital signage solution to share employee-facing content, news, and updates with our team, and this has been perfect for that purpose. It also allows us to display reminders of past events, including photos and awards the company has received. While the primary audience is our employees, customers may also see this area when they come in or out for meetings. In another setting, we used it in a public waiting room to ensure participants could easily view available community resources, which was very helpful.

I don't like the Yodeck players, they are horrible, the wifi wizard doesn't work properly  (atleast didn't when I was using it)

We use digital signage in our school district, and the difference is impressive. We have a few TVs installed, and they look fantastic compared to our previous setup. It's also more cost-effective, since paying $8 per screen is actually cheaper than purchasing a separate computer for each display, manually turning them on, and setting up Google Slides for content.

In restoring old advertising screens, Yodeck has been very beneficial in that we were able to pop in a new Raspberry Pi player, allowing all our screens to sync and work together.

**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

Yodeck is a free solution for a one signance screen. It offers a lot of online platform integrations. If you have experience with the Raspberry Pi and installing an OS on a micro SD card, getting started with Yodeck is really easy. The OS can be downloaded from the website. Once started up which is self-explanatory, you can choose from many attractive templates or design your own. You can also just use and program apps and your own media. Implementing features like online platform integrations is easy. Yodeck's beautiful end result is why I'm giving this serviceable software a positive review.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

The difficulty with Yodeck is that it's not easy to master the online GUI. You can enter a time table in Apps, Schedules, and Screen. There's an overlap here that I still don't understand after weeks of experimenting. Sometimes you need to pinpoint new featured to the screen. At which point I need to do this, I neighter can explain.  I eventually figured out how I wanted to program it, but after a week, I had to figure it out again. I'm not the youngest anymore, at 62, so maybe that's the reason.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Yodeck for a Smart Mirror function: a spy mirror with a screen mounted behind it. Bij chosing a black template with white fonts the result is spectacular. The smart mirror is a gift for a friend who loves art. Among other things, I'll demonstrate the following features: graphic art, time, weather forecast, and intelligent quotes.

I appreciate how easy it is to use, especially when it comes to uploading files. I also like the versatility of the content I can work with.

There isn’t much I dislike about it. The only issue I have is that setting up the timer isn’t very intuitive at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not too bad.

I appreciate that on my days off, I can log into Yodecks from home to upload content or make any necessary changes, even when I'm away from the office. This flexibility is really helpful for managing things remotely.

**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

The support was outstanding! I really couldn't give them a better review. They first responded with an AI that I was a little skeptical about but it gave me some good information including writing a small script that helped some. Then when I decided to escalate it, all it took was one button press and a representative responded EXTREMELY quick and had the exact answer I was looking for. If the AI allows their support.

Not to mention their product is very simple and easy to use. The product quickly updates from the web portal to the device so it makes trouble shooting media and other changes very easy.

I guess the least one thing I dislike about the Yodeck is their servers are using AWS and are located in Ireland. This really isn't an issue but we had to get our firewall configured to allow the Yodeck servers through so we could see the media.

What I like best about Yodeck is its simplicity and reliability. The plug-and-play setup with the Raspberry Pi player was a huge advantage for us. I got a task in my football club to get a screen in our clubhouse setup to show information from the club and the federation. Asked chatgpt for the easiest way to get started and got Yodeck as a sugestion. Bought a Raspberry Pi (with no prior experience) and got it up and running in about an hour.   Solved everything I thought would be complicated "right out of the box" such as turning on and off screens according to opening hours etc. Easy to add and change content. Easy to monitor status.

So impressed on how easy it was to get up and running with no previous experience of digital signage!

Haven't found anything that I am missing at the moment.  Maybe support for Raspberry Pi 5 would be useful in the future.

We have been using Yodeck for over a year using both Amazon Fire Sticks and Raspberry Pi's for the platform. It is the most cost effective of the services we researched and has proven to be easy to use and implement. Instructions are easy to setup Raspberry Pi's and any issues we have had have been primarily related to using the Fire Sticks rather than any actual problem with Yodeck. I really appreciate the schedule option as I can create a day-to-day playlist that runs all day every day and then plop in one off playlists on the schedule for specific events or specials without having to update each screen.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

The only major issue I have run into that I have not looked further into resolving yet is that we purchased the latest model of the Amazon Fire Sticks and the Yodeck App is missing from the app store to download. I had reached out to support and they said that the app should exist and they do not know why I am having issues. I will have to try looking into this more soon and see if I can get this resolved. The easiest solution is that now that we have implemented Yodeck, as our old Fire Sticks break down we can just replace them with Raspberry Pi's instead. The sticks were the most cost effective option to start our system with but the Pi players are much more reliable.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We 20 TVs divided by two buildings in two different cities that we need to display bar menus and building content on. We had been using manual labour and USB sticks wandering around to each TV whenever we had to make a change and the USB sticks would fail a lot so it would be a daily issue to wander around the building and check they were all on and updated. We also had some older equipment that could only push updates via an internal network so if you are not physically in the building no updates could be accomplished. Being able to quickly and remotely update the signs saves a lot of time and frustration.

It allows you to use one screen completely free without having to start a trial or function with practically nothing. This allows small businesses and individuals to use it and love it and recommend it to those who have the budget for multiple screens. A brilliant marketing scheme that helps out the little guy at the same time.
Super intuitive and easy to learn to use. Very versatile. If it has limits on content, I have not run into them yet, which is a huge bonus over other screen options I looked at, where I was limited to very few pictures without paying. It also allows you to push changes or take over the screen at any time in its free version, which was the biggest reason I chose it at the beginning. I wanted a single screen that worked well for free. Now, I am recommending it to all my clients who have budgets for multiple screens, because they can work with one until they have it figured out, without time pressures from trials, and then expand endlessly for reasonable prices.

To be clear, I tried multiple platforms before landing on Yodeck. Let me save everyone some trouble and time...just use Yodeck!

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

Getting the calendar app to work has been a huge issue. I am still struggling to get it to work properly, so that is definitely an area that needs work.
My only other complaint so far is not having an app to modify and update the screen from my phone; I either have to log in through a browser app, which is definitely not set up to work well with a phone or wait until I am at my computer. But this is an inconvenience, not a big deal!

I started out by looking for a solution for a client who needed to provide automatic reminders to a senior relative, this allows them to have a screen that shows pictures of the family, the calendar of the senior's scheduled appointments and then on a schedule pops up a reminder to take their medications. This was where I began, now I am recommending it to churches and businesses that I consult with for technical upgrades and support for their communication, advertising and interactions.

The most helpful part about using Yodeck is how user friendly the interface is. From the very beginning it was super easy to set up everything and implement it into my small business! I have had Yodeck for a year now and use it almost daily. I've had very few issues with the platform, and when something does arise their Customer Support has had extremely fast turn around times.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

The only issues I've had with Yodeck is the minor syncing issues that come and go. When I 'push to screens' they don't always change right away and it can take around 30 minutes sometimes for the new content to be pushed to the screens.

Yodeck is helping me solve the problem of getting our content on a rotating playlist in front of customers. Their interface is so customizable which is why we continue to use Yodeck.
