The initial setup was very easy and straightforward. The interface is intuitive, and the tools are laid out in a way that makes sense even without extensive onboarding. Coming from experience with other digital signage platforms, Yodeck appears to have all the right tools and features needed for most signage use cases. I really appreciate how I can create professional-looking content, whether I start from a template or design freely, all with a simple drag-and-drop process. I also make use of the OneDrive integration that now works with corporate OneDrive's as it allows anyone with access to the OneDrive to update content without needing to mange or understand our templates. Setup is easy as is getting started and I appreciate the options on own hardware use, with published limitations of each platform. Starting with one free screen is a great way to get started. Yodeck’s user interface is clean and easy to navigate, I was able to set up screens and playlists within minutes without any technical expertise. The drag-and-drop editor makes building content simple, and the variety of templates and media support (images, videos, tickers, schedules) gives us plenty of flexibility. While most features are strong, a few advanced scheduling options could be more intuitive. The learning curve for some of the deeper settings (like granular timing or conditional triggers) is a bit steeper than expected. Super easy to configure. The premium plan allows you to automate playlists by adding tags to images/videos. Upload the file and tag it and it will be auto added to the playlist. The layouts can be awkward to learn to use effectively. I struggle to layout and get all the information looking how I would like it. Some of the integrations are very locked in their display format and it can be hard to modilfy to fit into the layout you are creating. An example of this is the time and date. If you want the date below the time I have found you need to create two of them only display the date/time in each and move them to suite Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Yodeck is amazing. The fact that they give this amazing platform away for free with their 1 screen free policy is honestly crazy in this day and age. It is feature-rich and intuitive to use. There is so much functionality it it is almost overwhelming. But then the documentation and support is amazing as well. I've helped a few people get set up after they see how I use it (home family hub, calendar, to do list, birthday countdowns, vacation countdowns) and they are always happy. For someone that uses 1 screen for free, there aren't any downsides. The fact that all of these features are included in a free plan is just insane if you're Yodeck. But that's how you know theyre a good company. They've made an awesome product and they want people to be able to use it. Yodeck is fantastic value for the price you pay, and their customer service has been absolutely spectacular. They are timely in their responses, and even if it isn't an issue on their end, keep the ticket open until you figure out how to resolve it. We really only had issues when upgraded our players, and even then, it wasn't a Yodeck issue, but a network permissions issue with our IT team. What I like best about YoDeck is how easy it is to use and how affordable it is. As a small business, that combination really matters. Setting up and updating our menus and slideshows is simple, it works reliably, and we don’t have to worry about it once it’s running. There isn’t much I don’t like. It does what we need and has been reliable for us. If I had to pick something, it would be that right now I don’t get to use as many features as I’d like simply because our time and schedule don’t always allow it.
