"Embedded development OS (Excellent)"
What do you like best about Raspbian?

Honestly, the ease with which you can configure the various options available on the motherboard running this operating system greatly reduces setup time. It is very user-friendly and easy to interact with and make changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

Let's say that my dissatisfaction with the point I am about to mention is NOT so much dissatisfaction, but it could be interesting and useful for those of us who already know and use it in equipment, to be able to have the same distribution but adapted to one or two other motherboard options that exist on the market and are intended for embedded development. "Lightweight, Stable, and Perfect for Learning on Raspberry Pi"
What do you like best about Raspbian?

Raspbian is light, stable and even works well on older raspberyy pi models.

I like that its based on debian and is great for learning how to code or work on IOT projects and also debian makes it easy to use most linux packages and commands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

When you run a lot of heavy programs at once, the perfomance slows down a little.

For new users, the file manager and system setting could be more user friendly.

A lot of time, you have to use terminal commands which can be hard for new users to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight, Reliable, and Perfect for Raspberry Pi Projects"
What do you like best about Raspbian?

My favorite thing about Raspbian (Raspberry Pi OS) is how light and optimized it is for the Raspberry Pi hardware. It runs smoothly even on older versions, and the interface is simple and clean, making it easy for new users and experienced users alike to navigate. The huge user base is a definite boon, too — if I ever encounter issues, I can usually find a tutorial or forum thread that contains the answer. I also like just how simple it is to install software with APT and just how smoothly GPIO and other Pi-specific features play together. It's also very easy to implement and integrate, even when you are constantly using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

The sole downside to Raspbian is that, aesthetically, it looks a bit dated compared to the interfaces of newer OS'. It's a bit rough around the edges, and more resource-hungry applications will occasionally lag, especially on older Pi iterations. Also, while the community is great, official customer support isn't really a thing — you're relying on forums and community help for the most part. Advanced users might find some limitations if they try to push the Pi beyond typical use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Deep Dive into Its Capabilities"
What do you like best about Raspbian?

Raspbian features a straightforward and intuitive desktop environment, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced users. The ease of navigation helps new users quickly acclimate to the system without feeling overwhelmed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

The reliance on microSD cards for storage can result in slower boot times and read/write speeds compared to systems with internal eMMC storage. This can hinder overall performance and responsiveness, particularly when launching applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Raspbian - Beast in the board"
What do you like best about Raspbian?

Raspbian is a lightweight and powerful operating system that specially made for raspberry pi boards. It have all basic tools to start the IoT journey with your raspberry pi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

To make a raspbian as lightweight operating system, they removed some useful commands/applications from the raspbian. However we can install it with simple command. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and straightforward OS"
What do you like best about Raspbian?

Great compact OR fro a Raspberry Pi (rPi). Can be setup with or without a starter pack of useful apps. Very user friendly for those not acustomed to Linux interfaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

Can be a slight pain to deploy to a Raspberry Pi at times for initial setup of the wireless connectivity and base login as well as SSH access. Not horrible, but not intuitiuve for first time users. From a hardware perspective - availablility has really been hurting the brand due to resellers scalping the equipment at fairly extreme prices, forcing clients to look to other solutions.
