So far everything has been great. No complaints yet.

Yodeck is the best way I have found to display information on screens for staff. It's quite handy you can push out separate content to each screen, and it pulls live from Google Slides. The pricing is very good compared to competetors

No negatives at the moment. Would be better if the data were pulled from the software to the screens quicker, but still very impressed

There is not much dislike to talk about Yodeck,
Because till now we haven't faced anything like this.

1. The smooth content playback for enterprises is really necessary, and Yodec has solved this issue.
2. Easiest platform for managing the screens and playlists.
3. We were facing an issue of a black screen in another signage provider, but in Yodeck, we didn't.

Yodeck is very user friendly and budget friendly.

Playlist Management could be better - it's too unwieldy. I have to scroll a lot and end up losing my place often.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software allows us to show patient reviews and product/service advertisements in our waiting room. Patients love reading the positive reviews and learning about the ways we can help them, and Yodeck is an efficient way to do it. The software is pretty intuitive. I am able to easily upload my media and organize it into folders. Adding everything to the playlist is also very simple with just a few clicks. It's fast to change things when something is no longer relevant. If you ever need help, Customer Service is very helpful (once you make your way through the AI bot which takes a little too long). I love that I never have to restart the slideshow or deal with my TV going to sleep.

Didn't really see an downside.  The system has worked well for us.

We needed a way to update our digital signage without the need to be onsite.  Yodeck fit the bill. It's affordable (a major issue for a non-profit), works well and is expandable for the future.

We use Yodeck in our retail shop to run a digital signage screen, mostly looping sales slides, artist promos, and YouTube videos. Setup was a breeze once we got a proper power supply and edited the Pi’s HDMI config.

The dashboard is clean, playlist tools are intuitive, and pushing updates remotely is fast. I like that it's free for one screen, that gave us a chance to try it risk-free, and now I’d happily recommend it to other small biz owners.

If you're a shop owner or artist looking for signage that doesn’t suck, Yodeck’s worth it.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

Only hiccup was getting resolution working with our old Sanyo TV, but that was a Pi config issue. Once we got it dialed in, it's been totally solid.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yodeck gives us an easy and affordable way to run dynamic digital signage in our retail shop without needing expensive hardware or overly complex software. We’re using it to loop product promotions, event slides, and YouTube videos that would otherwise require manual updates or USB sticks. It saves us time, keeps our displays looking sharp, and helps us engage customers with up-to-date content. Being able to update everything remotely from a laptop or phone is a huge plus, especially for a small business.

For niche markets where a specific process/procedures are needed for feeding and updating the content of the Digital Signage screens, the creation of fast and common e.g. playlists and/or schedules is necessary is not evident.

There’s no longer any need to rely on legacy equipment, a legacy coding environment, or outdated processes.

It has been super easy to use. We also love that paying annually includes a free Raspberry Pi player that makes setup even easier and more convenient

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

We have had a couple cases across ~30 players where for whatever reason, the player refuses to connect to the internet which makes it very difficult to use. Usually it resolves itself on its own within a few days, but we have also had to reach out to support to fix this in the past.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Yodeck solves for us is managing all of our digital signage. Having digital signage in hard to reach places across multiple different buildings, it's nice to be able to manage and remotely troubleshoot everything online without needing to be on-site for every little thing.

It was extremely easy to set up. I used the Amazon Fire stick setup. It essentially was plug and play, once I got that plugged in. Learning the Yodeck platform was easy to use too. I've already easily changed out my playlist a few times and it definitely saved me time and money.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

I haven't run across any downsides yet. I'm using the free version, which is a nice entry point, so I'm curious to see how far the free version will get me before I need to consider upgrading.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to have to print every flyer to put in my front window for people walking by to see what was going on here. Now I save trees, save time, and money by pushing my updates out, even if I'm not at the storefront that day, I can still update our marketing signage remotely and things be up to date and accurate.

When I've had to reset or reboot, there have been a few times that I needed to physically unplug it from the box. a little bit of an inconvenience but nothing to bad because I haven't had to reset it that way to many times!

Yodeck is both intuitive and user-friendly. Once you get past a brief learning curve, managing it on a daily basis becomes smooth and efficient. Setting up the system with the Yodeck Player was fast and simple—just plug it in, enter the code, and your screen is up and running. The customer support has been outstanding; Elias was especially attentive, patient, and highly professional. I rely on the platform every day for extended periods and have not encountered any major issues. The feature set is robust, frequently updated, and integrating it with my screens was effortless.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

For more demanding scenarios, such as playing 4K videos alongside web page inserts and widgets, I’ve found that the Android app or WebView version doesn’t offer sufficient performance. In these cases, using the Yodeck Player is crucial to achieve smooth playback. 
I wouldn’t consider this a disadvantage, though, it’s more of a helpful suggestion, particularly since the Player comes at no extra cost with an annual license.

Yodeck allows me to manage and update digital signage from a distance, making it possible to maintain reliable broadcasting every day of the week with dynamic content such as videos, widgets, and web pages, all without needing to be on site. This not only saves me time but also ensures that my communications remain consistent and professional.

Yodeck is so easy to use, the user interface and software are very user friendly.  They make it very easy to learn and you can be off and running in no time.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.  Their software has done everything i needed it to do and more.  You will no go wrong using Yodeck.

If i had to pick one it would be the choice of player.  My company would not let me use the Yodeck player, i had to use a windows based player but other than that no down side if found as of yet.

Using Yodeck as our digital signage partner has allowed me to put information in the hands of my employees.  I can put pertinent information and alerts on display for all to see.  It has been a nice addition to our business.

I wish it were cheaper, but I understand there has to be a profit and there's a cost for maintenance on these systems.

The biggest win for Yodeck is its simplicity. The platform is incredibly intuitive, making it easy for anyone on our team to quickly upload, schedule, and manage content. Setting up new players and displays is practically plug-and-play. We went from unboxing to live content in minutes, which is a huge time-saver compared to other, more complicated systems we've used. What I like best about Yodeck is its ease of use and remote management capabilities. This was my first time using Yodeck. I really enjoyed how easy and simple it was to set up and manage. My dashboard design skills could definitely be improved, but the software itself is very impressive!

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

We have only used Yodeck for a short period of time and have had no major issues. I had some difficulty with audio, but I realized that it was due to the use of copyrighted material.

I like tht it is relatvly easy to use. I am just needed a couple of hours to get everything run on a first basis. The longer I used it, I found other things, to steer evetything and I really like the integration of stock fotos free of charge.

Mhh difficult, there are none which are in mind. Maybe that there is only one player for free or no possibility to pay per use. For example rates for thee days or something like that.

**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

Yodeck's clean UI and playlist organization makes updates to my boards a breeze. Yodeck's integration with Canva is a perfect match. The company continues to update the use of existing applications as well as adding new applications on a frequent basis, and there are ample instructions provided to guide a user through the app utilization process. Our organization used to manage 2 digital signage boards using 2 separate PowerPoints. Both of these would have to be updated separately, and on premises. Now, I can update both boards through the web interface in minutes from my home.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

Some of the advanced features can be finicky. For instance, setting timeframes for slide availability or a slide's length of time to stay on screen can be frustrating, but once you get the hang of it, it is a small issue compared to the solutions Yodeck provides. The positives greatly outweigh these negatives.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company manages two digital signage boards on site using Power Point slides. These boards are mainly used to display KPI metrics, calendar of events, and important site messages to the staff. When I was tasked with the creation and implementation of the playlists, I was simply overwhelmed with the time sink  associated with updating these Power Points. Not to mention, any immediate changes requested by management personnel required me to drive to site to provide the updates if I was not there. Since moving our digital signage boards over to Yodeck, I have greatly reduced the time that I spend focusing on the digital signage boards. Slide update requests can be performed from my couch with a few mouse clicks.

I like how easy it is to create different playlists for each TV and the automation features. I appreciate being able to add Power BI reports per location, which is quite convenient. The initial setup of Yodeck was also pretty easy.

I dislike the refresh time and sync up time. Sometimes the web takes some time to refresh and sync up, which creates confusion. The TV is on but shows as off.

Their starting path is extremely friendly, you get one screen for free so you can get familiar with the product before choosing this solution. It also comes in various form factors starting as simple as a browser plugin to a full featured disk image (highly recommend as the additional visibility is just amazing). The concept of playlists that combine multiple media is exactly what I needed. I use it in "read-only" presentation mode without user interaction and it's doing a great job with providing this. Also, for the price it just makes no sense to develop a custom solution, it has all I need and much more. And if I do feel I need to integrate at some point, it already has a nice set of REST APIs available.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

Not really a downside, as I already get a regular screenshot from the screen which makes me more comfortable that it's live. Still, it would be nice to have an option to actually connect to the screen from the portal (like ssh and/or vnc)

I think the only issue I have had but that was because of using older raspberry pi, was that it occasionally got stuck upgrading the device software and I have had to setup the device again.
