It is also very user-friendly, making it simple to provide feedback and acknowledge others. Additionally, the customer support at Bonusly is excellent. I use Bonusly frequently to recognize the people who support me. As we are integrated bonusly with daily work routine, its very helpful as it give a basic satisfaction of recognizing whom we got support from. Also implementation wise its very easy as well. "Empowering Workplace Recognition and Appreciation"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

Bonusly is a cool platform because it emphasizes the power of recognition and rewards in the workplace. One of the things I like best about it is how it promotes a culture of appreciation—people can recognize each other for their contributions in real-time, and those moments of gratitude can have a positive impact on both individual morale and team dynamics. It’s not just top-down; employees can also recognize their peers, which helps build a more connected and supportive work environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

Bonusly can feel superficial if not integrated thoughtfully into company culture. If recognition becomes too transactional or routine, it loses its impact and doesn't foster genuine connections. The points-based reward system might not resonate with everyone, especially if the rewards don’t align with personal preferences. It can also become overly gamified, shifting focus from meaningful recognition to accumulating points. Additionally, if employees don't use it consistently, the tool's value diminishes. To be effective, Bonusly should focus on authentic appreciation and regular engagement, keeping the system simple and meaningful rather than overcomplicated. "Dynamic Team Metrics and Engagement, But Needs More Recognition Options"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

I love the ability to get metrics on my team in a dynamic way. At Ellucian, we have embedded our core values into our bonusly hashtags. This enables us to get real-time metrics on usage and where we are seeing the highest engagement, but also to collect subjective data based on user prompts and notes. Its also an interesting way to see how my team is going above and beyond with other teams or colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

I wish there was a way to highlight highest bonusly earners across the organization (maybe this exists - I'm not on the people team). I also wish I could support more grassroots initiatives and local vendors instead of corporate giants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bonusly Builds Team Spirit, Wish Points Refreshed More Often"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

I really enjoy using Bonusly! Not only does it earn points to buy gift cards monthly but it also connects me with my coworkers and helps build strong bonds throughout the workplace! It has really brought us closer together! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

Honestly for the service that is being provided for free to me by the company I work for I don't really have any complaints and am very grateful it exists! It would be cool to get weekly points or do challenges to get extra weekly points though! Sometimes having to wait a month for the points to refresh cant feel like a while but I am still grateful to be getting points in the first place! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Plus, the ability to redeem points for gift cards or donations adds a meaningful touch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Platform for Celebrating Colleagues' Achievements"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

We have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our colleagues' achievements, and that's something I truly appreciate. When someone acknowledges my efforts or engagement through Bonusly, it feels fantastic. It's great to have a platform like Bonusly that helps foster recognition and encouragement among us.

The ease of implementation is one of the standout features. Selecting nominators is incredibly simple, and the MSTeam integration makes giving recognition even easier. Monthly, we seamlessly use the platform to share our thoughts, and any issues that come up are quickly addressed with support from the team.

Logging in and creating a review is a breeze—no complicated setup or manual installations are needed. You simply select the receiver, and you're all set. It’s a hassle-free process that makes regular recognition effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Employee Recognition, Stellar UI"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

I find Bonusly to be an exceptional platform for rewarding employees, having used it for over three years. I particularly appreciate its tremendous ability to facilitate employee recognition by awarding points that can be redeemed at e-commerce sites. The intuitive and crisp user interface stands out as a major advantage, making the setup process straightforward and allowing anyone to understand and start using the platform easily. I love how engaging Bonusly is, thanks to its added features like the ability to incorporate GIFs, videos, and emojis when awarding points, which adds a personalized and entertaining touch to employee recognition. Bonusly effectively provides a sense of reward and acknowledgment to employees, helping them stand out and receive recognition for their significant accomplishments. Overall, Bonusly's user-friendly design and engaging features significantly enhance our company's reward and recognition efforts, making it a platform I am happy to recommend wholeheartedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

{"I believe Bonusly could improve by expanding the range of e-commerce platforms from which users can redeem points. Currently, the options feel limited.","There's a desire for the option to redeem points for cash. This addition could enhance the platform's flexibility and appeal.","The point redemption ratio feels a bit high. For instance, in the India region, one needs 120 points to get a 1000 rupee voucher. Lowering this ratio could make point redemption more attractive.","Adding decimal points to the bonus system could improve its precision and incentivize users further.","I feel there's a lack of a leaderboard or intuitive graphical interface that shows who excels in specific projects, potentially providing more engagement and recognition among users."} Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Practical, Low -friction Tool that Actually Gets Used"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

The ease of integration is easily the best part. It lives right inside our Slack channels, which means the frequency of use is high; people use it daily because it's not a separate platform we have to log into. this high ease of use means it's a frictionless way to give props for good code or a helpful debugging session. From what I saw, the ease of implementation was also fast it just showed up and worked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

It's intentionally simple, so the number of features is very focused. This is good, but it's really a 'one trick pony' it does only recognition.it doesn't connect to brooder performance goals also, I've used their customer support they responded very late, but they replied at the end, but the fact that I haven't needed to be probably a good sign. "More Than Points - It's About Feeling Valued"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

I've been using Bonusly at my company for over a year now, and honestly, it's become one of my favorite things about our workplace culture.

The platform is incredibly easy to use, even for someone like me who's relatively new to the professional world. Getting recognized publicly through Bonusly has been incredibly motivating. It's not just about the points, though those are great, it's more about actually seeing how your managers and teammates view your contributions. You know that feeling when you're not sure if anyone noticed the extra effort you put in? Bonusly completely eliminates that.

What impressed me was how quickly our team got it up and running. The implementation seemed smooth from an employee perspective, and it integrated well with our Slack, so recognition pops up right where we're already working.

The inter-team aspect is something I didn't expect to appreciate so much. I've gotten to know people from other teams just through giving and receiving recognition. Last month, someone from another team recognized me for my help in resolving queries, and that simple gesture made me feel like part of a bigger team, not just stuck in my corner.

And here's the practical side, the rewards we can redeem are actually useful. I've cashed out points for Amazon gift cards that went straight toward things I needed. It's nice that the recognition translates into something tangible you can use for your personal needs, whether that's groceries, subscriptions, or just treating yourself.

I haven't needed to reach out to customer support yet, which I guess is a good sign that everything just works.

Simple tool, real impact. Worth it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

Honestly, not much to complain about, but a few small things:

The main issue is that people forget to give out their points before they expire at the end of the month. There is a reminder system in place, but somehow people still miss it during busy weeks. I wish there was a way to roll over unused points, because I know my teammates want to recognize good work, but it just slips their mind during busy periods.

Also, the mobile app could be a bit more intuitive. It works fine, but the desktop version is definitely smoother and easier to navigate.

It also took some time for everyone to get into the habit of using it regularly. In the beginning, adoption was slow, but it's gotten better as people warmed up to it.

But honestly, these are minor hiccups. The platform does what it's supposed to do really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes Recognition Fun and Effortless—Boosts Team Morale"
What do you like best about Bonusly?

What I appreciate most about Bonusly is how easy and enjoyable it is to recognize others. The platform truly fosters a culture of appreciation and teamwork, ensuring that even small achievements are acknowledged. I enjoy being able to quickly give meaningful recognition to my coworkers and witnessing everyone’s contributions being celebrated throughout the team. It really lifts morale and helps the workplace feel more connected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

I don’t really dislike much about Bonusly, but sometimes the reward options feel a bit limited or repetitive. It would be great to see more diverse choices that fit different interests. Also, the point system can feel a little restrictive if you run out of points too quickly. Overall though, it’s still a great platform for recognition and engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
