"Building a Culture of Appreciation"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

What I like best about Bonusly is how easy it is to recognize the people I work with. I use it whenever a teammate goes out of their way to help me or does a great job, and it's a nice way to show appreciation for the little things that often go unnoticed.

I also enjoy that it's rewarding for everyone. I make the most of the points I earn by redeeming rewards, which makes being recognized feel even more meaningful. Overall, Bonusly has made appreciation a more natural part of our team's culture, and I genuinely enjoy both giving and receiving recognition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

One thing I dislike about Bonusly is that the monthly points can run out quickly, especially if you want to recognize several teammates who have helped you throughout the month. There are times when I wish I had a few more points so I could acknowledge everyone's efforts. Aside from that, I've had a positive experience using it and appreciate how it encourages a culture of recognition within the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonusly solves the problem of recognition being overlooked in a busy work environment. It gives everyone an easy way to acknowledge the support, teamwork, and contributions of their colleagues, even for the small things that make a big difference.

For me, it's beneficial because it helps build a more positive and appreciative team culture. I enjoy recognizing my teammates when they've helped me, and it's also motivating to receive recognition from others. The rewards are an added bonus, making appreciation feel even more meaningful while encouraging everyone to continue supporting one another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bonusly Makes Peer-to-Peer Recognition Easy and Meaningful"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

What I like best about Bonusly is how it makes employee recognition a natural part of everyday work. I especially appreciate its peer-to-peer approach and the way recognition is tied to company values, because it encourages collaboration, reinforces positive behaviors, and helps employees feel genuinely appreciated. The seamless integration with tools like Slack also makes recognition quick and meaningful instead of feeling like another administrative task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

One potential drawback is that if recognition isn't used thoughtfully, it can become routine or feel like a popularity contest, with some employees receiving more visibility than others. I think that's less of a limitation of Bonusly itself and more about how organizations implement it. With clear guidelines and active manager participation, it can remain fair, meaningful, and aligned with company values. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonusly solves the problem of employee recognition being infrequent, inconsistent, or limited to manager feedback. By making it easy for peers to recognize each other's contributions in real time, it helps create a culture where good work is noticed and appreciated.

For me, that means feeling more connected to my team, knowing that my contributions are visible, and receiving timely feedback that motivates me to continue doing my best work. I also like that recognition is tied to company values, which reinforces positive behaviors and encourages collaboration across teams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bonusly?

What I like best about Bonusly is how simple and quick it is to recognize teammates. The interface is user-friendly, it integrates well with our daily tools, and the rewards system encourages employee engagement and appreciation. "Awesome Product"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

Bonusly is an excellent employee recognition platform that makes it easy to acknowledge and celebrate teammates' contributions. It helps build a positive culture, encourages collaboration, and provides rewarding ways to show appreciation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

Recognition can feel transactional if employees focus more on earning points than providing meaningful appreciation.

Points/rewards may feel limited depending on the company's allocated budget.

Frequent notifications can become overwhelming in larger organizations.

Popularity bias can occur, where highly visible employees receive more recognition than those working behind the scenes.

Impact depends on adoption—if employees and managers don't actively participate, the platform can lose effectiveness.

Some users feel that monetary reward values are relatively small compared to the effort being recognized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonusly helps address the lack of day-to-day recognition that can sometimes occur in busy work environments. It allows colleagues to celebrate contributions in real time, making appreciation more visible and consistent. Personally, I find it motivating to receive recognition from peers and rewarding to acknowledge others for their support and achievements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I am completely convinced of bonusly"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

I was a bit sceptical initially, I had never used a system like this in the past. But I very quickly saw the value here, and have been using it for just over a year now. I am in a support role and often need help from lots of different people so this is such a great way to say thank you to them and reward them.

Selfishly it is also very good in end of year reviews, it gives me something to point to in performance reviews as peer feedback.

The Ask Bizy is a real nice touch, that is what I wanted before for those reviews as it can give me a summary of my feedback as well as suggest people to give bonusly to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

honestly, nothing that I can really think of - I think it achieves its objective well and can see new features getting added which add value Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Selfishly, my end of year review - I need to put together a self assessment of my performance and I use colleague feedback here as part of that review. Super useful from a business problem to solve for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great experience"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

Bonusly makes recognition quick and genuinely fun. It's easy to give a shout-out to teammates in just a few seconds, and the points-based rewards system feels meaningful. It's also great for boosting team morale and making people feel appreciated for their everyday contributions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

The monthly point allowance can run out faster than you'd like, so you sometimes have to hold back on recognizing people. It would also be nice to have more reward options in certain regions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonusly solves the problem of recognition falling through the cracks. Good work often goes unnoticed in day-to-day busyness, and Bonusly makes it easy to acknowledge teammates in the moment. For me, it's helped make appreciation a regular habit rather than something that only happens at review time. It also strengthens team connection, especially across remote or distributed teams, and gives people tangible rewards they actually value. Overall, it's boosted morale and made it easier to celebrate the small wins that usually get overlooked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bonusly is a great way to recognize colleagues in the workplace"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

I like that the rewards given by bonusly tie compliments/feedback/appreciate with a small monetary gift that gives those you work with a boost throughout the day. It's always fun to receive rewards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

Cashing in bonusly feels good until I see the tax hit on my next paycheck for taking out the rewards. In the end I come away with more money, but it always catches me off guard when I cash in and see my next paycheck lower. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonusly is solving the problem of making people in the org feel seen and recognized for the work they do. By putting this tool in the hands of employees and individual contributors, you are more likely to recognize everyone in the company for their efforts than if just a manager is able to give praise to team members. I think people sense of belonging and pride in work is increased by having this simple tool available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great way of showing appreciation"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

What I like most about Bonously is that it provides a simple and meaningful way to recognize the contributions of colleagues and collaborators. It encourages a culture of appreciation by making recognition visible, timely, and accessible to everyone. Beyond acknowledging great work, it helps reinforce positive behaviors, strengthens teamwork, and makes people feel valued for their efforts. It's a great tool for celebrating both everyday contributions and larger achievements, fostering a more engaged and supportive workplace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonusly?

Overall, I think Bonously is a great tool for fostering appreciation and recognition across teams. One area for improvement is ensuring that recognition is distributed as fairly as possible, so that behind-the-scenes contributions and less visible work are acknowledged just as often as highly visible achievements. This would help make the experience feel even more inclusive and meaningful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonusly helps solve the problem of recognizing contributions in a timely and visible way. In busy work environments, it's easy for great work to go unnoticed, especially across different teams. Bonusly makes it simple to acknowledge colleagues when they go above and beyond, helping create a culture of appreciation and positive reinforcement.

For me, it benefits me by making it easier to recognize the people I work with and by providing visibility into the great work happening across the organization. It also reinforces our company values by encouraging recognition for behaviors and contributions that have a meaningful impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great service for employee morale boosting!"

5/5

What do you like best about Bonusly?

I appreciate that this platform allows us to recognize both team members and cross-functional partners for the entire company to see. What do you dislike about Bonusly?

Nothing, every workplace should have Bonusly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonusly creates a culture of frequent recognition. Instead of waiting for annual reviews or quarterly awards, recognition happens immediately after great work, reinforcing the behaviors you want to see more often. It makes invisible work visible. Many high-impact contributions happen behind the scenes or across departments. When employees recognize one another, you gain insight into work you may not have otherwise seen. It strengthens cross-functional relationships. People who feel recognized are generally more engaged, motivated, and connected to their work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
