**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It is simple and quick to use, but feels like a big deal when you receive recognition.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

You always have to save up to use your points and can't use points for an odd amount giftcards

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of some employees feeling a lack of recognition. It is an easy way to show appreciation and allows employees to receive more than just words of gratitude.

  ### 2. A Great Platform for Everyday Recognition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul J. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The ease of use and also how it connects people to reward

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think it can include more reward ways to be redeemed

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps solve the problem of low visibility and delayed recognition in the workplace by making appreciation timely, peer-driven, and easy to share. It ensures that contributions — even the small day-to-day ones — don’t go unnoticed, which boosts motivation and a sense of belonging. For me, the biggest benefit is feeling acknowledged in real time by teammates, not just managers, which creates a more supportive environment and strengthens collaboration. It also reinforces company values through everyday actions, helping connect individual effort with the bigger cultural goals of the organization.

  ### 3. Facilitates Employee Recognition with Ease and Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** TreVon J. | Academic Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly to reward my colleagues for the wonderful work they are doing. It gives me the opportunity to give tangible recognition whenever I see fit. I love the opportunity for people to cash in their points for gift cards they want. A person can get recognized and accumulate points. Once there are enough points, a person can redeem them for great prizes. The initial setup of Bonusly was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think that people who don't use all their points should have them rollover to the next period.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to reward colleagues, giving tangible recognition. It lets people accumulate points and redeem them for desired gift cards, enhancing motivation and satisfaction.

  ### 4. A must have App for every organization!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly encourages team work like no other idea I've come across. Its a gesture of good will and a silent motivator for employees to go above and beyond for the team.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Maybe a clear indication of region based currency valuation could be a bonus feature

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With bonusly every little effort goes notices, employees feel good about helping their team mates and overall it enhances team productivity.

  ### 5. Simple UX, Convenient Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

For me, the big selling point for bonusly is the slack integration. I use slack a great deal at work, and being able to use their integration to send rewards to coworkers without leaving slack is a big selling point for me. I also enjoy the UI around giving, as it makes it easy to tag specific people, relate the rewards to our core values, and specify rewards to send.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The only major pain point for me is redemption. Sometimes it feels a bit clunky to go through a multi-step form to confirm redemption of points. And the UI could better direct users here. For example, when redeeming for an amazon gift card, a general URL is provided, instead of the URL directly to a page where user can redeem. This would be an opportunity for streamlining and improvement in bonusly UI.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rewarding + Recognizing coworkers.

  ### 6. Bonusly is the perfect platform for showing gratitude and strength within our team.

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's so great to show appreciation to every part of our team, and the selection of prizes is vast

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I have experienced the amazon giftcards being a bit nitpicky but it could have been user error

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cross team appreciation. we are in different parts of the building but we effect each other's work every day and its nice that I can show specific appreciation for that.

  ### 7. Morale-boosting fun for the whole team!

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't have any negative feedback at this point. It's been a fun way to recognize coworkers.

Bonusly makes it easy to recognize and thank coworkers for their help and contributions. It's a nice way to celebrate teamwork and helps everyone feel appreciated.

  ### 8. Great way to appreciate and maintain moral of team

**Reviewed by:** Mudit M.

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I wasn't aware about Bonusly before joining Jumio, but after using it - I would highly recommend it to be used among other organisations. Great way to appreciate small to big help from colleagues and keep track during reviews :)

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I'd want the Bonusly points to not expire after the month, it should be carried forward.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acknowledging the efforts of the team in a meaningful way.

  ### 9. Great, Amazing and Userfriendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Very easy to recognize and appreciate my teammates for their contributions and celebrate great work. Easy to use, User friendly

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The platform works well overall, but I'd like to see the option to see how much points I have redeem from walking/excercise rewards

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly makes it easy to recognize teammates for their help and contributions. It helps create a positive work environment where people feel appreciated.

  ### 10. Effortless, Real-Time Recognition That Strengthens Team Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enmanuel Jr. V. | Executive Assistant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly fits naturally into our daily tools and makes recognition feel genuine. From an EA and operations perspective, it’s easy to manage and helps reinforce culture without adding unnecessary overhead.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Bonusly works best when there’s ongoing engagement, but keeping that momentum can require extra effort from an operations or admin standpoint. Reward options can also feel uneven across regions, which sometimes limits flexibility

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps make recognition more consistent and visible. For me, it reduces the need for manual follow‑ups and makes appreciation easier to support day to day.

  ### 11. a streamlined platform for appreciating co-workers.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

monthly point limits that restrict how much appreciation employees can express [Quote>“Users note the limited options, particularly with a 150 allowance that restricts their ability to express appreciation fully.”,

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves employee disengagement, overlooked everyday contributions, and the siloed communication common in remote or hybrid workforces by enabling real-time, peer-to-peer recognition

  ### 12. Effortless Recognition, Meaningful Impact

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like using Bonusly because it makes it very easy to thank someone in a meaningful way. Our team is obsessed with being able to include very random and funny GIFs, which adds a fun, personal touch. Additionally, my team uses Bonusly to provide positive feedback throughout the month, rather than just doing a big lump thing like once a month, which allows us to share little blips of goodness as they come up.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes people use Bonusly to only give feedback for major situations, like when things go wrong and someone saves the day, or someone goes way beyond their normal responsibilities, even to their own detriment—like working when they're sick. This can lead to reinforcing potentially unhealthy behaviors as it tends to stand out, rather than recognizing the steady work that underpins success. That's not necessarily a downside of Bonusly as much as "humans and their cognitive biases" but I'm curious if Bonusly can find an effective way to combat that.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to give positive feedback throughout the month, recognizing efforts easily and meaningfully. It helps me avoid forgetting daily appreciation and makes team-wide recognition simpler.

  ### 13. Success for Businesses and Employees!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The user experience is easy, efficient, and uplifting. So helpful for employees and managers to show appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I like how many reward options there are, but that section specifically used to be more user-friendly. It is a little hard to find options now.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee appreciation is so much easier with Bonusly. The program makes it so easy to show appreciation to others in my company.

  ### 14. Empowers Team Recognition with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vivian T.

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly for appreciating my colleagues. I like that it helps to motivate my team and recognize their support and efforts. The team dashboard is particularly valuable because it gives me a clear, consolidated view of recognition activity across my team. I can quickly see who is being appreciated, for what contributions, and how recognition aligns with our values, which ensures that recognition is fair, timely, and meaningful. It also helps me identify engagement trends and motivate the team more effectively. Moreover, I found the initial setup of Bonusly to be user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

While Bonusly works well overall, there is room for improvement in terms of customization and deeper analytics. More flexible reporting and filtering options would help managers better understand long-term engagement trends and recognition impact. Additionally, occasional UI simplification and smoother navigation would make the experience even more intuitive, especially for new users.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly motivates my team by recognizing their support and efforts. The team dashboard gives a clear view of recognition activity, making it easier to ensure recognition is fair and timely, and helps identify engagement trends.

  ### 15. Effortless Employee Recognition with Bonusly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly to reward colleagues with points for work-related accomplishments, birthdays, and anniversaries. It's great in a remote world because it gives me visibility and allows me to share points with my teammates. I love that I can convert the Bonusly points into gift cards, which I can use to purchase items on Amazon or add credit to my Lyft account. Bonusly also shows me when colleagues' birthdays are coming up, and it highlights when a teammate is doing a great job through receiving points. Additionally, the initial setup of Bonusly was super easy for me. I even integrate it with Slack to send points, which works really well.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

When it comes to converting Bonusly points into actual gift cards, the points don't always evenly convert and I end up with an odd number of points. It's not a big deal, though.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to reward colleagues and get recognition in a remote world. It gives visibility, allows sharing with teammates, and lets me convert points into gift cards for retailers. It's great for celebrating birthdays and highlighting accomplishments.

  ### 16. Celebrating Success, Seamlessly Integrated

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really like Bonusly's ease of use and functionality. The variety of rewards it offers is impressive and valuable for our team. I appreciate how it integrates with our internal chat channel, Google Chat, smoothly. It allows everyone in the team to get involved without distracting from day-to-day work. It's a great way to celebrate success, especially since we are a hybrid workforce. Switching to Bonusly was beneficial as it offered more rewards and fostered team celebration.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The only improvement I can think of is having some kind of indicator to show you which posts you've already added onto, to make sure you're not double commenting. Maybe a tick box next to the posts in the timeline that you've already added to, or a filter for those you haven't commented on at the top of the timeline? This way it makes sure that you're able to view all posts and not miss any.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly allows us to celebrate success across the company, creating visibility in a hybrid workforce. It's easy to use, integrates with our chat, offers a variety of rewards, and involves the whole team without disrupting daily work.

  ### 17. Effortless Recognition with Cross-Organisation Impact

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly is clear and easy to use, and the fact that recognition translates to rewards is fantastic. I appreciate that it's cross-organizational, allowing me to see wins from other teams and build cross-organization teamwork. I also value that it is linked to our brand values and helps us celebrate when those values are being shown. Additionally, I really like the overview feature.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I really like the overview feature and it would be handy to have this emailed to team leaders for their team so they have an overview. I think an email report of a team's overview would improve the feature as it would make the team's metrics easier to have an overview of.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to give and receive recognition, making it visible for the whole organization, even remotely. I like that it's easy to use, allows cross-organizational teamwork, and is linked to our brand values, translating recognition into rewards.

  ### 18. Motivational Boost with Visible Recognition

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anjali S. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that we can tag people and that it is visible to management. Adding emojis and GIFs is a great way to appreciate work, and it perfectly helps in recognizing individuals. Bonusly helps increase the visibility of subordinates and serves as a platform where someone can appreciate my work. The monthly benefit is a way to keep the motivation high. The initial setup was quite easy, and it has an easy platform that everyone can access.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think I've seen situations where somebody has tagged me for the bonus, like, in situations wishing me a happy birthday or appreciating my work. But in the comment section, if I want to give some bonus points to that person, I can't. For example, if it's an anniversary and Bonusly says, 'Hi, Anand. This is your third anniversary, and we are appreciating your work by providing 200 bonus points,' I might want to add a little more on that, like 50 more or 40 more. But if someone is appreciating my work, and I want to give some recognition to them, like supporting me, my manager is appreciating my work, I can't tag Bonusly points. So that's one feature I think should be improved.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to motivate colleagues and appreciate their work, boosting organizational motivation. It helps recognize effort in front of management, especially during demanding projects, with Bonusly points providing a monetary way to appreciate contributions.

  ### 19. Bonusly is great!! I love being able to recognize my peers and also be recognized back.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

giving points and being able to also retrieve mine for actual prizes in real life.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

That my points run out lol I wish I had infinite points to give my coworkers.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to congratulate my coworkers without actually spending money or requesting a care package, and I think that benefits both my pocket and my closeness to the rest of the customer.

  ### 20. This has made a real culture difference. I love a tangible and public way to send a shout out.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love that it is a tangible thing that people can use. A true reward that is beyond a nice teams message.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I hate that a generic gift card makes you spend the exact amount or less, rather than being able to apply the amount to shopping.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is definitely helping create more positivity around hard situations. Helps with peers banding together with support.

  ### 21. Bonusly is the best platform to recognize colleagues with meaningful rewards .

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mehul C. | Associate Engineer, Dev, Legal Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

The upside is that we can recognize colleagues and send appreciation as gift cards with personalized messages in a gift-wrapped UI. It also offers a wide range of brands to choose from and much more.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

There is nothing in particular to dislike. However, some vouchers, such as Amazon Pay vouchers, tend to appear and disappear from time to time.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly helps streamline employee recognition by aligning it with company values, reducing the burden on higher management. It also empowers everyone, including new joiners, to recognize colleagues easily. Additionally, it removes the hassle of purchasing vouchers or gifts, as individuals can directly choose rewards based on their own preferences.

  ### 22. Easy Rewards but Costly Redemption

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly at my job to reward my peers or employees of other departments as a way of saying thank you for their help, to show appreciation for a job well done, or simply to brighten someone's day when they are feeling down. What I love mostly about Bonusly is being able to reward someone else with something good. I also enjoy the gift cards you can earn through Bonusly. It's nice to be able to say thank you in a tangible way when just words don't feel sufficient. The setup was very easy, and I appreciate the ability to earn Bonusly money myself, which I can build up to use for gift cards from many different merchants and shop online with them.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think the amount you need to earn gift cards is too high. I'd say adjust the amount needed to earn.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to reward peers, brightening their day with thanks beyond words. It lets me earn and redeem for gift cards, adding joy to both giving and receiving.

  ### 23. Effortless Employee Recognition with Bonusly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy W.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I use Bonusly for employee recognition, which allows me to thank my teammates for a job well done and award them points they can use for gifts or tokens of appreciation. I like the ability to add GIFs or images to add more attitude or 'color' to the appreciation. I also enjoy being able to adjust the amount of Bonusly points I give to each person depending on the appreciation. It’s neat that I can add onto an existing appreciation post, making it more of an appreciation 'train'. We link it to Slack, so we see the Bonusly activity through a dedicated Slack channel, and I appreciate the reminders at the end of the month to spend Bonusly points. The initial setup seemed easy and straightforward for the team to adopt.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

n/a

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly for employee recognition, allowing me to thank teammates and award points for gifts. It adds fun with GIFs, adjusts point amounts, and supports 'appreciation trains.'

  ### 24. Empowered Recognition, Needs a Smoother Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly is easy to use and it feels nice to give recognition with some monetary value that all employees have access to. It's great that not only managers and above can recognize their peers, which gives agency to all employees to recognize someone.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I feel like the 'for you' page could be improved. It took a while to realize I can expand to those in my department, not just my boss's team. Maybe have points set aside for birthdays and anniversaries, like 5-10 per person outside of your personal Bonusly points. There are some months where there are so many of these celebrations that I want to add on to but risk not having enough to recognize my coworkers for good work. The integration with Slack shows notifications, but I've muted it because it's causing more workspace clutter than helping me.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to thank and reward coworkers for good work or milestones. It provides monetary rewards, allowing all employees to recognize peers, not just managers.

  ### 25. Eases Recognition, Needs Flexible Spending

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how Bonusly is a great way to give an extra 'thank you' to colleagues and share it with the team. The interface is quick and easy to understand and navigate. There are lots of selections to spend your recognition, and it's great that the rest of your team can see the posts and add on for deserving colleagues. It's easy to find where to view your own 'bonuslys', how much you have left to give, and the wide range of markets that accept these. Even though I always go with Amazon, having a wide range of marketplaces means I'm not stuck with one or two choices. We also find Bonusly easier to use and less costly compared to what we used before, and it was very easy to set up and customize. Additionally, getting reminders and notifications in Slack is quite useful.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I hate that I need to spend these in "chunks" like 10, 50, 100 etc. instead of just spending the whole amount at once. Also, there are 'leftover' amounts that can't be spent, such as 3 or 9 bonuslys. I would gladly donate these to some of the charities listed if I could.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly allows me to easily give thanks with rewards, which can be spent in multiple ways. It's easy to navigate and lets the team recognize and add to each other's contributions.

  ### 26. Easy Submissions and Clear Points Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It's easy to enter submissions and see how many points are left to spend (deducted immediately upon successful submission). I love that the submission creation form acts on expansion symbols (@, +, and #) to aid entry. That helps reduce the number of mouse clicks needed. Also, finding recipient names is a breeze using the fuzzy search algorithm.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

It does not look like there's an option for exporting all available rewards to a CSV file. There have been many times when I wanted to give someone outside my company a list of available gift cards so they could choose one. Since they do not work for my company, they do not have access to the Bonusly app. I've had to create a list by hand which take a long time. And, of course, my list goes out of date quickly as the list of awards changes. Please consider adding this feature.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automates my company's employment recognition program. Having the ability for employees to recognize each other's accomplishments is an important boost to employee morale. Happy employees contribute to higher performance.

  ### 27. Showcases Employee Achievements with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like how Bonusly allows me to share with people's managers how well they're doing, which adds transparency and means I don't have to wait until a performance review to highlight a coworker's achievements. This visibility throughout the year is really beneficial. I also enjoy the exchange rate for bumping points to a dollar amount and think the reward pool is very substantial with a lot of variety. It doesn't feel like I have to save up a lot to get rewarded, and I've never had trouble finding a gift card that I like. The rewards pool is pretty diverse, and we get bonuses on birthdays or work anniversaries, which are nice monetary gifts I can actually use for something I like. The onboarding process seemed pretty smooth for everyone.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The statistics are a little confusing on the back end. They have a spider web grid and some kind of pie chart that don't make much sense to me. I feel like there could be more useful data or logistics to share with users. Additionally, there's too many emails.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that Bonusly allows me to share with managers how well people are doing, adding transparency without waiting for performance reviews. It makes accomplishments visible throughout the year.

  ### 28. Effortless Recognition with an Incredibly Useful Slack Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James L. | Lead Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how Bonusly allows me to give recognition to colleagues for small moments of appreciation. It's quick and easy, taking less than thirty seconds to give recognition both on their website and through their integration with Slack. The Slack integration is critical because it lets others see the appreciation in real time. It's also valuable because it allows colleagues to know they're appreciated without much expense to the organization. Plus, it's nice that we can cash in Bonusly points and donate to charities and causes that matter to us. The initial setup was very simple and straightforward to implement and deploy across the organization, earning a 10 out of 10 in terms of simplicity and ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes there can be a ten or fifteen second delay after Bonusly points are given for the appreciation post to populate on Slack.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly allows me to recognize colleagues for small moments of appreciation quickly and easily through their website and Slack, taking less than thirty seconds. It lets colleagues know they're appreciated with minimal cost to our organization and the option to donate Bonusly points to charities we care about.

  ### 29. Boosts Team Morale with Effortless Gratitude

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ray M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like using Bonusly at work to express my gratitude to coworkers, especially when they've done an amazing job or gone out of their way. It helps me feel more connected since I work virtually, allowing me to see others' posts and be part of the office environment through a screen ticker. The points feel meaningfully sizeable, providing a good incentive. I really enjoy the gif feature and the AI prompts that make messages more personal and robust. The website is easy to use, and I appreciate the email reminders about using my bonusly points before the month ends, as it pushes me to reflect on my gratitude more often.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't know how we decided on the hashtag groupings or exactly what they mean. Maybe require a short explanation for hashtags whenever those are built out. Sometimes it's hard to find a good gif.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to connect with coworkers, show gratitude, and incentivize tasks. It makes remote work feel more connected with public posts and meaningful points. The AI prompts and GIFs also encourage personalized messaging.

  ### 30. Easy Slack Recognition That Boosts Morale, but Needs Stronger Insights

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

It encourages public recognition and reinforces positive behaviors across the team

It’s easy to use and integrates well with Slack, which helps adoption

It supports peer-to-peer recognition, not just top-down praise

It helps build momentum and morale, especially during contests or high-effort periods

The rewards catalog is flexible and meaningful for different preferences

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Recognition can sometimes feel transactional or uneven if not actively reinforced by leadership

It doesn’t always clearly tie recognition back to specific performance metrics or outcomes

Reporting and insights could be more robust for managers trying to track impact over time

Engagement can drop if prompts or campaigns aren’t refreshed regularly

It relies heavily on team culture; without guidance, usage can be inconsistent

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems Bonusly is solving

Lack of consistent, visible recognition in fast-paced, remote or hybrid teams

Recognition being overly manager-driven instead of peer-driven

Good work going unnoticed outside of formal reviews or quota attainment

Limited cross-team appreciation and cultural reinforcement

How that benefits us

Reinforces the behaviors we want to see more of, not just outcomes

Improves morale and engagement, especially during high-volume or grind-heavy periods

Gives reps a way to recognize effort, collaboration, and improvement, not just results

Helps create a more positive and supportive team culture, which supports retention and motivation

Makes recognition timely and public, which has more impact than delayed or private feedback

  ### 31. Good experiences with Bonusly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like the combination of reminders for events such as birthdays and work anniversaries but also the ability to free form something "hey that thing you did yesterday really helped and I appreciate you". I also like the visibility it gives to what's being given by others in my organization, it helps me see what other people are doing to help and can help identify someone who helped me without me even realizing it.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

The downsides are mostly innocuous, not knowing when to give points/praise, not knowing specific individuals whose accomplishments are maybe more in the background and therefore less obvious to the average user. From a user perspective, claiming gift cards especially can be irritating as multiple clicks are required.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem is I don't interact with much of my peers in my company directly due to geographical distance, so the ability to see commendations from others company wide helps me to get an idea of the bigger picture and also can let me know about things that have directly or indirectly helped me that I may not have known about.

  ### 32. Fun Recognition Tool with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Finbar P. | Sales Representative

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love that Bonusly is fun and helps me connect with colleagues from different teams. The platform makes it easy to give recognition in ways that might otherwise be difficult. I also enjoy the perks, like sending someone 50 or 25 Bonusly points that can be used for holidays or shopping. It's nice to receive Bonusly points from a manager, which I can use for everyday items or save up for something special. The initial setup was really easy for me as a member of staff; I just logged in and got going straight away. It's really simple.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I really dislike the way you have to leave a hashtag at the end of each Bonusly that you share with someone. I don't see why you have to do that.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly for recognizing friends and colleagues when they've done a good job, allowing me to interact and give recognition where it would otherwise be difficult.

  ### 33. The Bonusly Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Team members all reinforce each other publicly. There are also fun gifs. It's fun to make up fun # tags. I like that the points expire because it forces people to give them out. It is great for relationship-building! Fairly easy to figure out how to use.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes there are delays with billing department which makes cashing in points difficult if the timing is off. Sometimes it is difficult to find the user names of colleagues to give them points. My supervisor also tried to set up so that she and I could give out awards for staff members making deadlines but we could not figure out to get it to work. We also had some accounts hacked once and the company did not take responsibility so those employees never got the points stolen from them when the system was hacked back.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a very quick way to give a shoutout broadcast to a large number of people all at once.

  ### 34. Uplifts Team Morale with Flexible Recognition Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love the feature in Bonusly that gives me the option to change the amount in any increments that I want, which lets me even send a dollar. This flexibility is fantastic because I have 18 coworkers, and I can divide my monthly budget to reward as many of them as I can. Also, the initial setup was super easy; I just logged in using my company email. Bonusly really uplifts employee morale because it allows us to thank coworkers with something of monetary value, not just words. Bonusly is really great for recognizing and thanking coworkers for their contributions, especially since most of us work remotely and don't see each other in person.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I don't think there's any area that needs improvement right now, but maybe more options for merchants where we can cash out our bonus since I am living in The Philippines.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to recognize and thank coworkers, which helps with remote work by allowing us to express gratitude to those we don't see physically.

  ### 35. Effortlessly Recognizes and Rewards Our Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bao Ngoc N.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I think Bonusly is super easy to use and really integrated with our application. I like that I can see things like birthdays and work anniversaries easily, making it user-friendly. It's neat to see what others in the company have done, and it's easy to navigate. Also, I think it does a really great job of recognizing people for what they've accomplished because it's kind of hard to know what everyone else is doing in the company. With Bonusly, you get to see people who are recognized for achievements we might have heard of but didn't know who worked on them. It lets me make sure they get the recognition they deserve. The setup was extremely easy too; we just logged in through an email and Okta, and we were set to start giving out rewards.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think some things that could be a little bit more difficult or, like, a glitch that has happened was the rewards portion. I couldn't really apply my bonus points to the rewards. And I think it was, like, down for, like, a day or two. So I thought that was, like, a bit that could be improved upon or, like, maybe even more awards. Rewards that can be added on to the collection so that we can just spend on other things, not just, like, what we currently have.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to recognize colleagues' hard work, making it easier to see team contributions and appreciate achievements, which was lacking before.

  ### 36. Empowers Teams with Recognition and Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan H.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I think it's great that we can give our team members bonuses ourselves without actually being on the executive team, allowing for recognition of little wins throughout the year. It's special to have a system in place where anyone can give points, even to colleagues they don't directly work with, acknowledging hard work and dedication. This system is helpful for recognizing team members who excel in their roles.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I haven’t delved into that aspect much, but there are alternative ways to use it beyond hashtags. For instance, we could specifically select core values from our teams that align with the reward or points we’re giving to an individual. For example, if a team member helped save one of our accounts, we could reward them for their contribution to retaining the account. Alternatively, if they introduced us to something new and valuable, we could acknowledge their efforts with points.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to give points and shoutouts, fostering appreciation for teamwork and dedication. It lets us reward small achievements throughout the year, empowering everyone to acknowledge efforts, even across teams.

  ### 37. Effortless Peer Recognition, Endless Fun with Bonusly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mickella W. | Manager Customer Support Services

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love how easy Bonusly is for our teams to use and the various ways we can take our awesome wins and utilize the points for rewards tailored to what each person loves, not just what the company thinks we want. I absolutely love the personalized giphy inclusions, they're so much fun! I also appreciate the ease of use for redemption of rewards. The setup was very easy as it was adopted using our company's safe single-sign-on programs.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

We are a global company so some of our teams do not use Bonusly because it is a full time employee benefit. It would be neat if Bonusly could come up with a way that would include contracted employees without the redemption benefit so we can still shout each other out.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly for peer recognition, which inspires us by highlighting our awesome work. I love the easy reward redemption and using points for what each person loves. The personalized giphy inclusions are a fun bonus.

  ### 38. Incentivizes Recognition and Boosts Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelsey D. | Social Media Contractor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I really like the rewards portal; it has a lot of enticing rewards that I can use to cash out my Bonusly points, like using them at ClassPass or Starbucks. It's nice to receive recognition, and it feels great to give it as well. Bonusly helps boost morale and makes the whole process enjoyable, especially with the fun GIFs in messages. The system reminds us to give out points before they expire at the end of the month, which helps in being intentional about giving positive feedback. The requirement of using a hashtag related to company values in our messages is a thoughtful feature as it reinforces our company culture. The onboarding was also extremely easy and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Maybe stronger integration with Slack so that Bonusly top earners are more widely publicized? But that's a nice to have not a need to have.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to give kudos and recognition to my teammates, helping to boost morale. The rewards portal lets me cash out points for enticing rewards, motivating us further. It's easy to give positive feedback regularly and reinforces our company values.

  ### 39. Amplifies Recognition with Ease, Needs UI Upgrade

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like that Bonusly allows all recognition to be public and company-wide, which gives visibility to people's work. It's friendly and lets you actually put a monetary value on the contributions you make. I like to see who's doing well, what they're doing, and that people higher up can see the efforts being made. This public recognition helps with the overall employee experience and can even set the path for career advancements. With monetary recognition, being able to withdraw in gift cards or PayPal makes people feel it's an actual reward and that their job is important. The integration with Slack also makes it easier to use, and the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I think the UI could be improved, the visual part of it could be more modern. And when it comes to performance, it lags sometimes.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to recognize and reward colleagues who help me. It allows public recognition and lets higher-ups see contributions. It adds monetary value to recognition, making it feel rewarding and shows the importance of their work.

  ### 40. Empowers Employee Interaction, Easy Setup

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I like Bonusly because it allows me to interact with other people and share interesting things I've done at work. It's great that many people can interact with you, give you Bonusly points, and also enjoy the rewards. I appreciate the idea of receiving Bonusly points for activities like getting into the office or participating in virtual events. I also find it really interesting that you can exchange those points for real money, PayPal, gift cards, and other rewards. The platform is very interactive and user-friendly, making it very easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

I wish there were more options for rewards. I've only used PayPal, cash out, and gift cards. It would be nice to have options like free gym access, Netflix, or Spotify subscriptions.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Bonusly to share rewards points with my colleagues. It's helpful to exchange earned points for PayPal or gift cards, motivating me through interactions and rewards for activities.

  ### 44. Clear and simple rewards are most effective!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

I love that rewards translate directly into material benefits. In past employee recognition tools I've used, the currency earned through rewards would have unclear benefit or, even worse, would simply be coins to put in a sort of "rewards slot machine". With Bonusly, you have clear and measurable rewards for your actions. The selection of rewards to spend your earned points on is more than adequate, with something for everybody. I use Bonusly several times a month for both receiving and giving employee recognition.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

All I can think of are some of the gaps in gift card options -- I'd love options for the Steam Store and other specialty online retailers like Mondo Records, GOG.com, Newegg, etc.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly provides a simple and effective means of recognizing my co-workers and fostering connection between our teams. Plus, it's nice to earn a little extra cash for fun purchases like PC games.

  ### 45. Easy to use, good for employee morale

This is a great booster for employee morale. It's been fun to see my team giving kudos to other people.

  ### 46. A pleasant way to recognize your coworkers for their effort

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

You can reward more than one person, every month, for their efforts or milestones. And then the option to redeem tacos for something you'd like.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes I'd like to get more tacos than what I can use on a monthly basis.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not a "problem" that I'm solving but it's good to be able to recognize your coworkers with something else than just words.

  ### 47. Great for Peer Recognition

Nothing comes to mind. The UI is pretty intuitive with a social media feel.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm sure it improves morale. When people receive recognition, even from peers, it shows that their efforts aren't going unnoticed.

  ### 49. Fun Way to Appreciate Coworkers, But Point Limits Restrict Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hasith E. | Manage service engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

What I like best about Bonusly is how it makes recognition easy, timely, and meaningful. It encourages appreciation across teams, strengthens collaboration, and helps create a positive work culture by celebrating both small wins and major contributions.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

Sometimes the reward options are limited, and the monthly point balance can feel too small to recognize everyone you’d like to appreciate.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of inconsistent and delayed recognition by making appreciation visible, timely, and accessible to everyone. It helps ensure good work doesn’t go unnoticed, improves morale, and strengthens team connection. For me, it’s motivating to feel recognized in real time and to see appreciation shared openly across the organization.

  ### 50. Bonusly is a Simple, Fun and Professional way to boost moral!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armando F. | IT Systems Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Bonusly?**

Bonusly makes employee recognition simple, visible, and genuinely engaging. The peer-to-peer recognition model encourages appreciation across teams, and the public feed helps reinforce positive behaviors and company values.

**What do you dislike about Bonusly?**

While Bonusly is easy to use, the reward options can feel somewhat limited depending on location or personal preferences. Reporting and analytics could also be more robust, especially for managers looking for deeper insights into recognition trends.

**What problems is Bonusly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bonusly solves the problem of inconsistent and top-down employee recognition by enabling real-time, peer-to-peer appreciation. This helps improve morale, increase engagement, and reinforce positive behaviors across teams. As a result, recognition feels more frequent, authentic, and tied to everyday work rather than formal review cycles.
