"Game-Changer for FP&A – Incredible Team Support"
What do you like best about Cube?

Cube has completely streamlined our budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. It’s fast, flexible, and integrates seamlessly with our systems, making it a true game-changer for our FP&A process.

Our implementation manager, Vivian, was phenomenal—she guided us through setup with precision and made sure everything was customized for our needs. Our customer success manager, Innocent, continues to go above and beyond, offering proactive insights and quick solutions that keep us moving forward.

Great software + an amazing support team = a winning combination. Highly recommend Cube to any finance team looking to level up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

I wish the dashboards offered more customization and visualization options, as the current functionality feels limited compared to the rest of Cube’s capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Rocky Rakovic of Cube

Thank you for the impressive and thoughtful review! Stay-tuned for more customization and visualization options.

"High-potential Product with Poorly Managed Team"
What do you like best about Cube?

The tool itself is flexible, easy and intuitive to use. Connecting directly to Google Sheets (or Excel) without being weighed down by set structures or views is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

The implementation team were poorly managed. We felt a huge misalignment in expectations from the sales process through to implementation (which at 11 months in, is still not complete).

The management team has had constant changes, we had a promise from a VP to offset the implementation delay that has not been honoured since he's left. This feels really unprofessional and we've started to look at alternatives - even though we'd rather not! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jackie Duggan of Cube

Hi Sophie. Jackie from Cube here. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry that implementation has been so frustrating. It’s clear we missed the mark during a time of transition, and I completely understand how that’s been disappointing especially with shifting points of contact.

In the last year, we've made major changes to how implementation works at Cube. We brought in an entirely new team, rebuilt the onboarding process from the ground up, and overhauled our approach to customer success. As a result, we’ve seen customer satisfaction scores skyrocket and our implementation timelines are now among the fastest in the industry. In fact, we were just recognized in G2’s Summer 2025 Report.

That doesn’t undo your experience, and I know that’s hard to hear when you're still mid-journey. But I want you to know that what you experienced is not reflective of how we operate today.

I know our CRO Benjamin Pitman has already been in touch, but I’m reiterating here that we'd love the opportunity to reconnect and get things on the right track if you’re open to it. Thank you again for your honesty and for sticking with Cube through a tough moment.

"Super easy implementation"
What do you like best about Cube?

Implementing Cube was refreshingly simple and fast — the platform integrates seamlessly with our existing systems and required minimal ramp-up time for our team. Their customer support stands out as one of the best I’ve experienced: responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our success. Highly recommended for teams looking for a powerful and user-friendly FP&A solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

We’ve had very few issues—any minor concerns were quickly addressed. Overall, an excellent tool with minimal drawbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My experience with Cube, Innocent Mugyenzi, has been absolutely exceptional."
What do you like best about Cube?

Most helpful has been being able to retrieve data in real time. The ability to report has created such efficiency allow time to analysis vs. having to manipulate data and then analyze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

Wish there was room for more dimensions, and the data import was quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pros and Cons of Data Analysis with Cube software"
What do you like best about Cube?

Other spreadsheets like Google spreadsheets and Microsoft excel mkes multiple mistakes with the updates and this is avoided through Cube software. Usually the manual inputs would take a lot of input energy and time. This labor energy is avoided as Cube can automate the manual inputs. Customer support is good for thee software and even though the company is new and still growing, the updates usually fix the small glitches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

Since the world is moving towards AI, I wish to see AI compability with the data using Cube. This would save a lot of time and make things easier for others. The implementation of data also is difficult because of the data transfer where Cube has 4 predefined custom dimentions and transfering them is complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very flexible platform with extremely helpful customer success support!"
What do you like best about Cube?

Really happy with the overall flexbility of the system, with ability to have transactional and operational data all in one place! As it is based in excel, it is easy to look at things in different ways to quickly analyze data or change the drivers of your forecast. The customer support and IT teams have been phenomenal, especially as it relates to the new dashboard feature. The team is always willing to look in to my particular use case for presenting data a certain way, and is quick to respond with the best way how to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

There is no in depth training as every user's use case is slightly different. Needed outside help to implement to get fully up and running. Had to rebuild all forecast models in excel in a way that was compatible to load the data into Cube, which was more time consuming than anticipated. Additionally, formatting of reports does not save in Cube, so every time you go to fetch/build something from the system, you have to re-format or manually add new account to an existing report in excel. Gets trickly when business is constantly evolving/changing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible product, Great customer service, fast integration"
What do you like best about Cube?

I really enjoyed working with the support team at Cube. The implementation process was very efficient. In two weeks our company was up and running with Cube thanks to the support team. Once starting to use the product most of the features are intuitive and easy to learn. Areas that were pain points the support team worked as hard as they could to provide us with a solution. Cube is working to continue to iterate their product and provide new features. Cube also listens to their customers for feedback which is great as a power user. Their engineering and design teams have listened to my feedback on multiple occasions as they work to consistently improve the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

The least helpful areas of Cube are based on specifics with the ability to build models within excel. A few features (such as updating and fetching ranges) have to be done each time an adjustment is made to a model. I do feel like within excel updates happen while the model is being built (or by just fetching new data, without having to re-build the range, etc). I will say our company is more focused on detailed modeling using all Cube functions than a traditional FP&A team, and Cube support understands these frustrations and have it in their queue to resolve which is exciting. Response from Preston Lam of Cube

Hi Ethan,

Happy to hear you've been able to get started quickly and have been noticing our latest features. I will check internally to see if we can nudge along your concerns. Time saved during month-end close is music to our ears!

"Great FP&A software that has greatly improved our team efficiency"
What do you like best about Cube?

User friendly and helps with analysis at all levels of detail (from a consolidated P&L view or from detailed transaction level). We also really like the "Publish" feature which we use to create forecasts and compare to actuals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

Due to the level of detail the software has, implementation can be time consuming. That being said, once set up, there's minimal ongoing maintenance required. There are also some nuances to using the software that are only discovered through trial and error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely user-friendly for small teams"
What do you like best about Cube?

Our team has been using Cube for a little over two years and it was a sorely needed replacement to for Oracle PBCS. Since then, our company has gone through significant change, building new revenue streams & reorganizing. Cube provided us with the flexibility and usability that we needed to navigate change. We love the easy-to-use Dimension Manager and calculated fields.

One of our favorite things, is it's compatibility with Google Sheets. Our organization is primarily on GSuite, so this helped move our team away from excel based reporting and into GSheets which was compatible with the org.

Overall this has been a very positive transition for the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

Our favorite feature is also our biggest frustration. The Google Sheet add-in in extremely slow and occassionally times out with large queries. If you make a duplicate of a file, you will need to reselect your range to pull a query. It is slow and frustrating, but we are happy to have the connectivity.

No simultaneous loading (ie. two teammates cannot load at the same time). At this time, Cube is not an ideal prodcut for larger teams. It's works for a team of 3 but we occassionally run into issues when teammembers have to delay their loads while we wait for another to complete. I'm sure that this issue would only compound with added teammembers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cube has significantly improved our FP&A Process"
What do you like best about Cube?

Cube integrates seemlessly with Google Sheets which has made budgeting on both a product and account level much easier and much more collaborative because it doesn't require logging in to a different system and subsequent training. It has also significantly reduced the amount of time it takes to produce the financials which has allowed for futher development of new reporting templates. We also see so much value in connecting other data sources to Cube beyond on our financial data. The opportunities to replace more manual reporting processes are endless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cube?

I would like for there to be an easy way to view and fetch data into all Cube linked spreadsheets without having to login to each one individually, but this by no means should be a deterrent from using Cube. It is an excellent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
